Day - 050 - Numbers 30-32
Num 30:1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded. Num 30:1 Then Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel, saying, "This is the word which the Lord has commanded. Num 30:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
Num 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. Num 30:2 If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or takes an oath to bind himself with a binding obligation, he shall not violate his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. Num 30:2 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῶν φυλῶν Ισραηλ λέγων τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ συνέταξεν κύριος
Num 30:3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth; Num 30:3 "Also if a woman makes a vow to the Lord, and binds herself by an obligation in her father's house in her youth, Num 30:3 ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν εὔξηται εὐχὴν κυρίῳ ἢ ὀμόσῃ ὅρκον ἢ ὁρίσηται ὁρισμῷ περὶ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ οὐ βεβηλώσει τὸ ῥῆμα αὐτοῦ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν ἐξέλθῃ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ποιήσει
Num 30:4 And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. Num 30:4 and her father hears her vow and her obligation by which she has bound herself, and her father says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand and every obligation by which she has bound herself shall stand. Num 30:4 ἐὰν δὲ γυνὴ εὔξηται εὐχὴν κυρίῳ ἢ ὁρίσηται ὁρισμὸν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῆς ἐν τῇ νεότητι αὐτῆς
Num 30:5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. Num 30:5 But if her father should forbid her on the day he hears of it, none of her vows or her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand; and the Lord will forgive her because her father had forbidden her. Num 30:5 καὶ ἀκούσῃ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς ὁρισμοὺς αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς καὶ παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῆς ὁ πατήρ καὶ στήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ πάντες οἱ ὁρισμοί οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς μενοῦσιν αὐτῇ
Num 30:6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul; Num 30:6 "However, if she should marry while under her vows or the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself, Num 30:6 ἐὰν δὲ ἀνανεύων ἀνανεύσῃ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ πάσας τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς ὁρισμούς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς οὐ στήσονται καὶ κύριος καθαριεῖ αὐτήν ὅτι ἀνένευσεν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς
Num 30:7 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. Num 30:7 and her husband hears of it and says nothing to her on the day he hears it, then her vows shall stand and her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand. Num 30:7 ἐὰν δὲ γενομένη γένηται ἀνδρὶ καὶ αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς ἐπ᾽ αὐτῇ κατὰ τὴν διαστολὴν τῶν χειλέων αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς
Num 30:8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her. Num 30:8 But if on the day her husband hears of it, he forbids her, then he shall annul her vow which she is under and the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself; and the Lord will forgive her. Num 30:8 καὶ ἀκούσῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς καὶ παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῇ ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ καὶ οὕτως στήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ οἱ ὁρισμοὶ αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς στήσονται
Num 30:9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her. Num 30:9 "But the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, everything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her. Num 30:9 ἐὰν δὲ ἀνανεύων ἀνανεύσῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ οἱ ὁρισμοὶ αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς οὐ μενοῦσιν ὅτι ὁ ἀνὴρ ἀνένευσεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ κύριος καθαριεῖ αὐτήν
Num 30:10 And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath; Num 30:10 However, if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound herself by an obligation with an oath, Num 30:10 καὶ εὐχὴ χήρας καὶ ἐκβεβλημένης ὅσα ἂν εὔξηται κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς μενοῦσιν αὐτῇ
Num 30:11 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. Num 30:11 and her husband heard it, but said nothing to her and did not forbid her, then all her vows shall stand and every obligation by which she bound herself shall stand. Num 30:11 ἐὰν δὲ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς ἡ εὐχὴ αὐτῆς ἢ ὁ ὁρισμὸς κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς μεθ᾽ ὅρκου
Num 30:12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her. Num 30:12 But if her husband indeed annuls them on the day he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning the obligation of herself shall not stand; her husband has annulled them, and the Lord will forgive her. Num 30:12 καὶ ἀκούσῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς καὶ παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῇ καὶ μὴ ἀνανεύσῃ αὐτῇ καὶ στήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ πάντες οἱ ὁρισμοὶ αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς στήσονται κατ᾽ αὐτῆς
Num 30:13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void. Num 30:13 "Every vow and every binding oath to humble herself, her husband may confirm it or her husband may annul it. Num 30:13 ἐὰν δὲ περιελὼν περιέλῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν ἐξέλθῃ ἐκ τῶν χειλέων αὐτῆς κατὰ τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ κατὰ τοὺς ὁρισμοὺς τοὺς κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς οὐ μενεῖ αὐτῇ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς περιεῖλεν καὶ κύριος καθαρίσει αὐτήν
Num 30:14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them. Num 30:14 But if her husband indeed says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all her obligations which are on her; he has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard them. Num 30:14 πᾶσα εὐχὴ καὶ πᾶς ὅρκος δεσμοῦ κακῶσαι ψυχήν ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς στήσει αὐτῇ καὶ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς περιελεῖ
Num 30:15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity. Num 30:15 But if he indeed annuls them after he has heard them, then he shall bear her guilt." Num 30:15 ἐὰν δὲ σιωπῶν παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῇ ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας καὶ στήσει αὐτῇ πάσας τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς ὁρισμοὺς τοὺς ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς στήσει αὐτῇ ὅτι ἐσιώπησεν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἤκουσεν
Num 30:16 These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house. Num 30:16 These are the statutes which the Lord commanded Moses, as between a man and his wife, and as between a father and his daughter, while she is in her youth in her father's house. Num:30:16:ἐὰν δὲ περιελὼν περιέλῃ αὐτῆς μετὰ τὴν ἡμέραν ἣν ἤκουσεν καὶ λήμψεται τὴν ἁμαρτίαν αὐτοῦ Num 30:17 ταῦτα τὰ δικαιώματα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ ἀνὰ μέσον ἀνδρὸς καὶ γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πατρὸς καὶ θυγατρὸς ἐν νεότητι ἐν οἴκῳ πατρός
Num 31:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 31:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Num 31:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Num 31:2 Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people. Num 31:2 "Take full vengeance for the sons of Israel on the Midianites; afterward you will be gathered to your people." Num 31:2 ἐκδίκει τὴν ἐκδίκησιν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐκ τῶν Μαδιανιτῶν καὶ ἔσχατον προστεθήσῃ πρὸς τὸν λαόν σου
Num 31:3 And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian. Num 31:3 Moses spoke to the people, saying, "Arm men from among you for the war, that they may go against Midian to execute the Lord's vengeance on Midian. Num 31:3 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγων ἐξοπλίσατε ἐξ ὑμῶν ἄνδρας παρατάξασθαι ἔναντι κυρίου ἐπὶ Μαδιαν ἀποδοῦναι ἐκδίκησιν παρὰ τοῦ κυρίου τῇ Μαδιαν
Num 31:4 Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war. Num 31:4 A thousand from each tribe of all the tribes of Israel you shall send to the war." Num 31:4 χιλίους ἐκ φυλῆς χιλίους ἐκ φυλῆς ἐκ πασῶν φυλῶν Ισραηλ ἀποστείλατε παρατάξασθαι
Num 31:5 So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. Num 31:6 And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand. Num 31:6 Moses sent them, a thousand from each tribe, to the war, and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war with them, and the holy vessels and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand. Num 31:7 And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. Num 31:7 So they made war against Midian, just as the Lord had commanded Moses, and they killed every male. Num 31:7 καὶ παρετάξαντο ἐπὶ Μαδιαν καθὰ ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ καὶ ἀπέκτειναν πᾶν ἀρσενικόν
Num 31:8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. Num 31:8 They killed the kings of Midian along with the rest of their slain: Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba, the five kings of Midian; they also killed Balaam the son of Beor with the sword. Num 31:8 καὶ τοὺς βασιλεῖς Μαδιαν ἀπέκτειναν ἅμα τοῖς τραυματίαις αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν Ευιν καὶ τὸν Σουρ καὶ τὸν Ροκομ καὶ τὸν Ουρ καὶ τὸν Ροβοκ πέντε βασιλεῖς Μαδιαν καὶ τὸν Βαλααμ υἱὸν Βεωρ ἀπέκτειναν ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ σὺν τοῖς τραυματίαις αὐτῶν
Num 31:9 And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. Num 31:9 The sons of Israel captured the women of Midian and their little ones; and all their cattle and all their flocks and all their goods they plundered. Num 31:9 καὶ ἐπρονόμευσαν τὰς γυναῖκας Μαδιαν καὶ τὴν ἀποσκευὴν αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔγκτητα αὐτῶν καὶ τὴν δύναμιν αὐτῶν ἐπρονόμευσαν

Num 31:12 And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho. Num 31:13 And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp. Num 31:13 Moses and Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the congregation went out to meet them outside the camp. Num 31:13 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς συναγωγῆς εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοῖς ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς
Num 31:14 And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle. Num 31:14 Moses was angry with the officers of the army, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds, who had come from service in the war. Num 31:14 καὶ ὠργίσθη Μωυσῆς ἐπὶ τοῖς ἐπισκόποις τῆς δυνάμεως χιλιάρχοις καὶ ἑκατοντάρχοις τοῖς ἐρχομένοις ἐκ τῆς παρατάξεως τοῦ πολέμου
Num 31:15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? Num 31:15 And Moses said to them, "Have you spared all the women? Num 31:15 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Μωυσῆς ἵνα τί ἐζωγρήσατε πᾶν θῆλυ
Num 31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Num 31:16 Behold, these caused the sons of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, so the plague was among the congregation of the Lord. Num 31:16 αὗται γὰρ ἦσαν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα Βαλααμ τοῦ ἀποστῆσαι καὶ ὑπεριδεῖν τὸ ῥῆμα κυρίου ἕνεκεν Φογωρ καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ πληγὴ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ κυρίου
Num 31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. Num 31:18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. Num 31:18 But all the girls who have not known man intimately, spare for yourselves. Num 31:18 πᾶσαν τὴν ἀπαρτίαν τῶν γυναικῶν ἥτις οὐκ οἶδεν κοίτην ἄρσενος ζωγρήσατε αὐτάς
Num 31:19 And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day. Num 31:19 And you, camp outside the camp seven days; whoever has killed any person and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves, you and your captives, on the third day and on the seventh day. Num 31:19 καὶ ὑμεῖς παρεμβάλετε ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας πᾶς ὁ ἀνελὼν καὶ ὁ ἁπτόμενος τοῦ τετρωμένου ἁγνισθήσεται τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ὑμεῖς καὶ ἡ αἰχμαλωσία ὑμῶν
Num 31:20 And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood. Num 31:20 You shall purify for yourselves every garment and every article of leather and all the work of goats' hair, and all articles of wood." Num 31:20 καὶ πᾶν περίβλημα καὶ πᾶν σκεῦος δερμάτινον καὶ πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν ἐξ αἰγείας καὶ πᾶν σκεῦος ξύλινον ἀφαγνιεῖτε
Num 31:21 And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses; Num 31:21 Then Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who had gone to battle, "This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded Moses: Num 31:21 καὶ εἶπεν Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας τῆς δυνάμεως τοὺς ἐρχομένους ἐκ τῆς παρατάξεως τοῦ πολέμου τοῦτο τὸ δικαίωμα τοῦ νόμου ὃ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
Num 31:22 Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead, Num 31:22 only the gold and the silver, the bronze, the iron, the tin and the lead, Num 31:22 πλὴν τοῦ χρυσίου καὶ τοῦ ἀργυρίου καὶ χαλκοῦ καὶ σιδήρου καὶ μολίβου καὶ κασσιτέρου
Num 31 23 Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. Num 31:23 everything that can stand the fire, you shall pass through the fire, and it shall be clean, but it shall be purified with water for impurity. But whatever cannot stand the fire you shall pass through the water. Num 31:23 πᾶν πρᾶγμα ὃ διελεύσεται ἐν πυρί καὶ καθαρισθήσεται ἀλλ᾽ ἢ τῷ ὕδατι τοῦ ἁγνισμοῦ ἁγνισθήσεται καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν μὴ διαπορεύηται διὰ πυρός διελεύσεται δι᾽ ὕδατος
Num 31:24 And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp. Num 31:24 And you shall wash your clothes on the seventh day and be clean, and afterward you may enter the camp." Num 31:24 καὶ πλυνεῖσθε τὰ ἱμάτια τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ καὶ καθαρισθήσεσθε καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσεσθε εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν
Num 31:25 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 31:25 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Num 31:25 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Num 31:35 And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him. Num 31:41 And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD's heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses. Num 31:41 Moses gave the levy which was the Lord's offering to Eleazar the priest, just as the Lord had commanded Moses. Num 31:50 We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD. Num 31:50 So we have brought as an offering to the Lord what each man found, articles of gold, armlets and bracelets, signet rings, earrings and necklaces, to make atonement for ourselves before the Lord." Num 32:1 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle; Num 32:1 Now the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad had an exceedingly large number of livestock. Num 32:2 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spake unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying, Num 32:2 the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben came and spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to the leaders of the congregation, saying, Num 32:2 καὶ προσελθόντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ εἶπαν πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ πρὸς τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῆς συναγωγῆς λέγοντες

Num 32:4 Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle: Num 32:4 the land which the Lord conquered before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock." Num 32:4 τὴν γῆν ἣν παρέδωκεν κύριος ἐνώπιον τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ γῆ κτηνοτρόφος ἐστίν καὶ τοῖς παισίν σου κτήνη ὑπάρχει
Num 32:5 Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan. Num 32:5 They said, "If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession; do not take us across the Jordan." Num 32:5 καὶ ἔλεγον εἰ εὕρομεν χάριν ἐνώπιόν σου δοθήτω ἡ γῆ αὕτη τοῖς οἰκέταις σου ἐν κατασχέσει καὶ μὴ διαβιβάσῃς ἡμᾶς τὸν Ιορδάνην
Num 32:6 And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here? Num 32:6 But Moses said to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Reuben, "Shall your brothers go to war while you yourselves sit here? Num 32:6 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Γαδ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ρουβην οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμῶν πορεύονται εἰς πόλεμον καὶ ὑμεῖς καθήσεσθε αὐτοῦ
Num 32:7 And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD hath given them? Num 32:7 Now why are you discouraging the sons of Israel from crossing over into the land which the Lord has given them? Num 32:7 καὶ ἵνα τί διαστρέφετε τὰς διανοίας τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ μὴ διαβῆναι εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν κύριος δίδωσιν αὐτοῖς

Num 32:9 For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them. Num 32:10 And the LORD's anger was kindled the same time, and he sware, saying, Num 32:10 So the Lord's anger burned in that day, and He swore, saying, Num 32:10 καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμῷ κύριος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ καὶ ὤμοσεν λέγων

Num 32:12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD. Num 32:12 except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have followed the Lord fully.' Num 32:13 And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed. Num 32:13 So the Lord's anger burned against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the entire generation of those who had done evil in the sight of the Lord was destroyed. Num 32:13 καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμῷ κύριος ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ κατερρόμβευσεν αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη ἕως ἐξανηλώθη πᾶσα ἡ γενεὰ οἱ ποιοῦντες τὰ πονηρὰ ἔναντι κυρίου
Num 32:14 And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers' stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel. Num 32:14 Now behold, you have risen up in your fathers' place, a brood of sinful men, to add still more to the burning anger of the Lord against Israel. Num 32:14 ἰδοὺ ἀνέστητε ἀντὶ τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν σύστρεμμα ἀνθρώπων ἁμαρτωλῶν προσθεῖναι ἔτι ἐπὶ τὸν θυμὸν τῆς ὀργῆς κυρίου ἐπὶ Ισραηλ
Num 32:15 For if ye turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and ye shall destroy all this people. Num 32:15 For if you turn away from following Him, He will once more abandon them in the wilderness, and you will destroy all these people." Num 32:16 And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones: Num 32:16 Then they came near to him and said, "We will build here sheepfolds for our livestock and cities for our little ones; Num 32:16 καὶ προσῆλθον αὐτῷ καὶ ἔλεγον ἐπαύλεις προβάτων οἰκοδομήσωμεν ὧδε τοῖς κτήνεσιν ἡμῶν καὶ πόλεις ταῖς ἀποσκευαῖς ἡμῶν
Num 32:17 But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land. Num 32:17 but we ourselves will be armed ready to go before the sons of Israel, until we have brought them to their place, while our little ones live in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land. Num 32:17 καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐνοπλισάμενοι προφυλακὴ πρότεροι τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἕως ἂν ἀγάγωμεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν ἑαυτῶν τόπον καὶ κατοικήσει ἡ ἀποσκευὴ ἡμῶν ἐν πόλεσιν τετειχισμέναις διὰ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν
Num 32:18 We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance. Num 32:18 We will not return to our homes until every one of the sons of Israel has possessed his inheritance. Num 32:18 οὐ μὴ ἀποστραφῶμεν εἰς τὰς οἰκίας ἡμῶν ἕως ἂν καταμερισθῶσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἕκαστος εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ
Num 32:19 For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward. Num 32:19 For we will not have an inheritance with them on the other side of the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has fallen to us on this side of the Jordan toward the east." Num 32:19 καὶ οὐκέτι κληρονομήσωμεν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἀπὸ τοῦ πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου καὶ ἐπέκεινα ὅτι ἀπέχομεν τοὺς κλήρους ἡμῶν ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου ἐν ἀνατολαῖς
Num 32:20 And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war, Num 32:20 So Moses said to them, "If you will do this, if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for the war, Num 32:20 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς ἐὰν ποιήσητε κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο ἐὰν ἐξοπλίσησθε ἔναντι κυρίου εἰς πόλεμον
Num 32:21 And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him, Num 32:21 and all of you armed men cross over the Jordan before the Lord until He has driven His enemies out from before Him, Num 32:21 καὶ παρελεύσεται ὑμῶν πᾶς ὁπλίτης τὸν Ιορδάνην ἔναντι κυρίου ἕως ἂν ἐκτριβῇ ὁ ἐχθρὸς αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ
Num 32:22 And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward ye shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the LORD. Num 32:22 and the land is subdued before the Lord, then afterward you shall return and be free of obligation toward the Lord and toward Israel, and this land shall be yours for a possession before the Lord. Num 32:22 καὶ κατακυριευθῇ ἡ γῆ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἀποστραφήσεσθε καὶ ἔσεσθε ἀθῷοι ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἀπὸ Ισραηλ καὶ ἔσται ἡ γῆ αὕτη ὑμῖν ἐν κατασχέσει ἔναντι κυρίου
Num 32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out. Num 32:23 But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the Lord, and be sure your sin will find you out. Num 32:23 ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ποιήσητε οὕτως ἁμαρτήσεσθε ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ γνώσεσθε τὴν ἁμαρτίαν ὑμῶν ὅταν ὑμᾶς καταλάβῃ τὰ κακά
Num 32:24 Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which hath proceeded out of your mouth. Num 32:24 Build yourselves cities for your little ones, and sheepfolds for your sheep, and do what you have promised." Num 32:24 καὶ οἰκοδομήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς πόλεις τῇ ἀποσκευῇ ὑμῶν καὶ ἐπαύλεις τοῖς κτήνεσιν ὑμῶν καὶ τὸ ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν ποιήσετε
Num 32:25 And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth. Num 32:25 The sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, "Your servants will do just as my lord commands. Num 32:25 καὶ εἶπαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγοντες οἱ παῖδές σου ποιήσουσιν καθὰ ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν ἐντέλλεται

Num 32:27 But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith. Num 32:27 while your servants, everyone who is armed for war, will cross over in the presence of the Lord to battle, just as my lord says." Num 32:27 οἱ δὲ παῖδές σου παρελεύσονται πάντες ἐνωπλισμένοι καὶ ἐκτεταγμένοι ἔναντι κυρίου εἰς τὸν πόλεμον ὃν τρόπον ὁ κύριος λέγει
Num 32:28 So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel: Num 32:28 So Moses gave command concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers' households of the tribes of the sons of Israel. Num 32:29 And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession: Num 32:29 Moses said to them, "If the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben, everyone who is armed for battle, will cross with you over the Jordan in the presence of the Lord, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession; Num 32:29 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς ἐὰν διαβῶσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν τὸν Ιορδάνην πᾶς ἐνωπλισμένος εἰς πόλεμον ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ κατακυριεύσητε τῆς γῆς ἀπέναντι ὑμῶν καὶ δώσετε αὐτοῖς τὴν γῆν Γαλααδ ἐν κατασχέσει
Num 32:30 But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan. Num 32:31 And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so will we do. Num 32:31 The sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben answered, saying, "As the Lord has said to your servants, so we will do. Num 32:31 καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ λέγοντες ὅσα ὁ κύριος λέγει τοῖς θεράπουσιν αὐτοῦ οὕτως ποιήσομεν
Num 32:32 We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours. Num 32:32 We ourselves will cross over armed in the presence of the Lord into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us across the Jordan." Num 32:32 ἡμεῖς διαβησόμεθα ἐνωπλισμένοι ἔναντι κυρίου εἰς γῆν Χανααν καὶ δώσετε τὴν κατάσχεσιν ἡμῖν ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου
Num 32:33 And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about. Num 32:33 So Moses gave to them, to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Reuben and to the half-tribe of Joseph's son Manasseh, the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og, the king of Bashan, the land with its cities with their territories, the cities of the surrounding land. Num 32:33 καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Γαδ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ρουβην καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασση υἱῶν Ιωσηφ τὴν βασιλείαν Σηων βασιλέως Αμορραίων καὶ τὴν βασιλείαν Ωγ βασιλέως τῆς Βασαν τὴν γῆν καὶ τὰς πόλεις σὺν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς πόλεις τῆς γῆς κύκλῳ
Num 32:34 And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer, Num 32:34 The sons of Gad built Dibon and Ataroth and Aroer, Num 32:34 καὶ ᾠκοδόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ τὴν Δαιβων καὶ τὴν Αταρωθ καὶ τὴν Αροηρ
Num 32:35 And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah, Num 32:35 and Atroth-shophan and Jazer and Jogbehah, Num 32:35 καὶ τὴν Σωφαρ καὶ τὴν Ιαζηρ καὶ ὕψωσαν αὐτὰς
Num 32:36 And Bethnimrah, and Bethharan, fenced cities: and folds for sheep. Num 32:36 and Beth-nimrah and Beth-haran as fortified cities, and sheepfolds for sheep. Num 32:36 καὶ τὴν Ναμβραν καὶ τὴν Βαιθαραν πόλεις ὀχυρὰς καὶ ἐπαύλεις προβάτων
Num 32:37 And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim, Num 32:37 The sons of Reuben built Heshbon and Elealeh and Kiriathaim, Num 32:37 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην ᾠκοδόμησαν τὴν Εσεβων καὶ Ελεαλη καὶ Καριαθαιμ
Num 32:38 And Nebo, and Baalmeon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they builded. Num 32:39 And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.
