1 Corinthians 16
1Co 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. 1 Co 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do you also. Co1 16:1 περὶ δὲ τῆς λογείας τῆς εἰς τοὺς ἁγίους, ὥσπερ διέταξα ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς γαλατίας, οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς ποιήσατε.
1Co 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. 1 Co 16:2 On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come. Co1 16:2 κατὰ μίαν σαββάτου ἕκαστος ὑμῶν παρ᾽ ἑαυτῶ τιθέτω θησαυρίζων ὅ τι ἐὰν εὐοδῶται, ἵνα μὴ ὅταν ἔλθω τότε λογεῖαι γίνωνται.
1Co 16:3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem. 1 Co 16:3 When I arrive, whomever you may approve, I will send them with letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem; Co1 16:3 ὅταν δὲ παραγένωμαι, οὓς ἐὰν δοκιμάσητε, δι᾽ ἐπιστολῶν τούτους πέμψω ἀπενεγκεῖν τὴν χάριν ὑμῶν εἰς ἰερουσαλήμ·
1Co 16:4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me. 1 Co 16:4 and if it is fitting for me to go also, they will go with me. Co1 16:4 ἐὰν δὲ ἄξιον ᾖ τοῦ κἀμὲ πορεύεσθαι, σὺν ἐμοὶ πορεύσονται.
1Co 16:5 Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia. 1 Co 16:5 But I will come to you after I go through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia; Co1 16:5 ἐλεύσομαι δὲ πρὸς ὑμᾶς ὅταν μακεδονίαν διέλθω, μακεδονίαν γὰρ διέρχομαι·
1Co 16:6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go. 1 Co 16:6 and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go. Co1 16:6 πρὸς ὑμᾶς δὲ τυχὸν παραμενῶ ἢ καὶ παραχειμάσω, ἵνα ὑμεῖς με προπέμψητε οὖ ἐὰν πορεύωμαι.
1Co 16:7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit. 1 Co 16:7 For I do not wish to see you now just in passing; for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits. Co1 16:7 οὐ θέλω γὰρ ὑμᾶς ἄρτι ἐν παρόδῳ ἰδεῖν, ἐλπίζω γὰρ χρόνον τινὰ ἐπιμεῖναι πρὸς ὑμᾶς, ἐὰν ὁ κύριος ἐπιτρέψῃ.
1Co 16:8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. 1 Co 16:8 But I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost; Co1 16:8 ἐπιμενῶ δὲ ἐν ἐφέσῳ ἕως τῆς πεντηκοστῆς·
1Co 16:9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. 1 Co 16:9 for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. Co1 16:9 θύρα γάρ μοι ἀνέῳγεν μεγάλη καὶ ἐνεργής, καὶ ἀντικείμενοι πολλοί.
1Co 16:10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. 1 Co 16:10 Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without cause to be afraid, for he is doing the Lord's work, as I also am. Co1 16:10 ἐὰν δὲ ἔλθῃ τιμόθεος, βλέπετε ἵνα ἀφόβως γένηται πρὸς ὑμᾶς, τὸ γὰρ ἔργον κυρίου ἐργάζεται ὡς κἀγώ·
1Co 16 11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me for I look for him with the brethren. 1 Co 16:11 So let no one despise him. But send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren. Co1 16:11 μή τις οὗν αὐτὸν ἐξουθενήσῃ. προπέμψατε δὲ αὐτὸν ἐν εἰρήνῃ, ἵνα ἔλθῃ πρός με, ἐκδέχομαι γὰρ αὐτὸν μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν.
1Co 16:12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time. 1 Co 16:12 But concerning Apollos our brother, I encouraged him greatly to come to you with the brethren; and it was not at all his desire to come now, but he will come when he has opportunity. Co1 16:12 περὶ δὲ ἀπολλῶ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ, πολλὰ παρεκάλεσα αὐτὸν ἵνα ἔλθῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν· καὶ πάντως οὐκ ἦν θέλημα ἵνα νῦν ἔλθῃ, ἐλεύσεται δὲ ὅταν εὐκαιρήσῃ.
1Co 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 1 Co 16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Co1 16:13 γρηγορεῖτε, στήκετε ἐν τῇ πίστει, ἀνδρίζεσθε, κραταιοῦσθε·
1Co 16:14 Let all your things be done with charity. 1 Co 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love. Co1 16:14 πάντα ὑμῶν ἐν ἀγάπῃ γινέσθω.
1Co 16:15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) 1 Co 16:15 Now I urge you, brethren (you know the household of Stephanas, that they were the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves for ministry to the saints), Co1 16:15 παρακαλῶ δὲ ὑμᾶς, ἀδελφοί· οἴδατε τὴν οἰκίαν στεφανᾶ, ὅτι ἐστὶν ἀπαρχὴ τῆς ἀχαΐας καὶ εἰς διακονίαν τοῖς ἁγίοις ἔταξαν ἑαυτούς·
1Co 16:16 That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth. 1 Co 16:16 that you also be in subjection to such men and to everyone who helps in the work and labors. Co1 16:16 ἵνα καὶ ὑμεῖς ὑποτάσσησθε τοῖς τοιούτοις καὶ παντὶ τῶ συνεργοῦντι καὶ κοπιῶντι.
1Co 16:17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. 1 Co 16:17 I rejoice over the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have supplied what was lacking on your part. Co1 16:17 χαίρω δὲ ἐπὶ τῇ παρουσίᾳ στεφανᾶ καὶ φορτουνάτου καὶ ἀχαϊκοῦ, ὅτι τὸ ὑμέτερον ὑστέρημα οὖτοι ἀνεπλήρωσαν,
1Co 16:18 For they have refreshed my spirit and your's: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such. 1 Co 16:18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge such men. Co1 16:18 ἀνέπαυσαν γὰρ τὸ ἐμὸν πνεῦμα καὶ τὸ ὑμῶν. ἐπιγινώσκετε οὗν τοὺς τοιούτους.
1Co 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house. 1 Co 16:19 The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Prisca greet you heartily in the Lord, with the church that is in their house. Co1 16:19 ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς αἱ ἐκκλησίαι τῆς ἀσίας. ἀσπάζεται ὑμᾶς ἐν κυρίῳ πολλὰ ἀκύλας καὶ πρίσκα σὺν τῇ κατ᾽ οἶκον αὐτῶν ἐκκλησίᾳ.
1Co 16:20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss. 1 Co 16:20 All the brethren greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. Co1 16:20 ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ πάντες. ἀσπάσασθε ἀλλήλους ἐν φιλήματι ἁγίῳ.
1Co 16:21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand. 1 Co 16:21 The greeting is in my own hand" Paul. Co1 16:21 ὁ ἀσπασμὸς τῇ ἐμῇ χειρὶ παύλου.
1Co 16:22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. 1 Co 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha. Co1 16:22 εἴ τις οὐ φιλεῖ τὸν κύριον, ἤτω ἀνάθεμα. μαρανα θα.
1Co 16:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. 1 Co 16:23 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. Co1 16:23 ἡ χάρις τοῦ κυρίου ἰησοῦ μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν.
1Co 16:24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. 1 Co 16:24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. Co1 16:24 ἡ ἀγάπη μου μετὰ πάντων ὑμῶν ἐν χριστῶ ἰησοῦ.
