1Ch 13:2 And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us: 1 Chr 13:2 David said to all the assembly of Israel, "If it seems good to you, and if it is from the Lord our God, let us send everywhere to our kinsmen who remain in all the land of Israel, also to the priests and Levites who are with them in their cities with pasture lands, that they may meet with us; Ch1 13:2 καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ τῇ πάσῃ ἐκκλησίᾳ Ισραηλ εἰ ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν ἀγαθὸν καὶ παρὰ κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν εὐοδωθῇ ἀποστείλωμεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἡμῶν τοὺς ὑπολελειμμένους ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Ισραηλ καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτῶν οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευῖται ἐν πόλεσιν κατασχέσεως αὐτῶν καὶ συναχθήσονται πρὸς ἡμᾶς
1Ch 13:3 And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul. 1 Chr 13:3 and let us bring back the ark of our God to us, for we did not seek it in the days of Saul." 1Ch 13:6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it. 1 Chr 13:6 David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim, which belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, the Lord who is enthroned above the cherubim, where His name is called. 1Ch 13:7 And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart. 1 Chr 13:7 They carried the ark of God on a new cart from the house of Abinadab, and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart. 1Ch 13:8 And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. 1 Chr 13:8 David and all Israel were celebrating before God with all their might, even with songs and with lyres, harps, tambourines, cymbals and with trumpets. 1Ch 13:9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. 1 Chr 13:9 When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, because the oxen nearly upset it. 1Ch 13:10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. 1 Chr 13:10 The anger of the Lord burned against Uzza, so He struck him down because he put out his hand to the ark; and he died there before God. Ch1 13:10 καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργῇ κύριος ἐπὶ Οζα καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν ἐκεῖ διὰ τὸ ἐκτεῖναι τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν κιβωτόν καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκεῖ ἀπέναντι τοῦ θεοῦ
1Ch 13:11 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day. 1 Chr 13:11 Then David became angry because of the Lord's outburst against Uzza; and he called that place Perez-uzza to this day. 1Ch 13:12 And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me? 1 Chr 13:12 David was afraid of God that day, saying, "How can I bring the ark of God home to me?" 1Ch 13:14 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had. 1 Chr 13:14 Thus the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months; and the Lord blessed the family of Obed-edom with all that he had. 1Ch 14:1 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house. 1 Chr 14:1 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David with cedar trees, masons and carpenters, to build a house for him. 1Ch 14:2 And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel. 1 Chr 14:2 And David realized that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that his kingdom was highly exalted, for the sake of His people Israel. Ch1 14:2 καὶ ἔγνω Δαυιδ ὅτι ἡτοίμησεν αὐτὸν κύριος ἐπὶ Ισραηλ ὅτι ηὐξήθη εἰς ὕψος ἡ βασιλεία αὐτοῦ διὰ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ Ισραηλ
1Ch 14:3 And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters. 1 Chr 14:3 Then David took more wives at Jerusalem, and David became the father of more sons and daughters. Ch1 14:3 καὶ ἔλαβεν Δαυιδ ἔτι γυναῖκας ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐτέχθησαν Δαυιδ ἔτι υἱοὶ καὶ θυγατέρες

1Ch 14:8 And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them. 1 Chr 14:8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up in search of David; and David heard of it and went out against them. Ch1 14:8 καὶ ἤκουσαν ἀλλόφυλοι ὅτι ἐχρίσθη Δαυιδ βασιλεὺς ἐπὶ πάντα Ισραηλ καὶ ἀνέβησαν πάντες οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ζητῆσαι τὸν Δαυιδ καὶ ἤκουσεν Δαυιδ καὶ ἐξῆλθεν εἰς ἀπάντησιν αὐτοῖς
1Ch 14:9 And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. 1 Chr 14:9 Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the valley of Rephaim. Ch1 14:9 καὶ ἀλλόφυλοι ἦλθον καὶ συνέπεσον ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τῶν γιγάντων
1Ch 14:10 And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? And wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand. 1 Chr 14:10 David inquired of God, saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? And will You give them into my hand?" Then the Lord said to him, "Go up, for I will give them into your hand." Ch1 14:10 καὶ ἠρώτησεν Δαυιδ διὰ τοῦ θεοῦ λέγων εἰ ἀναβῶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους καὶ δώσεις αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χεῖράς μου καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ κύριος ἀνάβηθι καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χεῖράς σου
1Ch 14:11 So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim. 1 Chr 14:11 So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there; and David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like the breakthrough of waters." Therefore they named that place Baal-perazim. Ch1 14:11 καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς Βααλφαρασιν καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ Δαυιδ καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ διέκοψεν ὁ θεὸς τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου ἐν χειρί μου ὡς διακοπὴν ὕδατος διὰ τοῦτο ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου Διακοπὴ φαρασιν
1Ch 14:12 And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire. 1 Chr 14:12 They abandoned their gods there; so David gave the order and they were burned with fire. Ch1 14:12 καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον ἐκεῖ τοὺς θεοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ κατακαῦσαι αὐτοὺς ἐν πυρί
1Ch 14:13 And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley. 1 Chr 14:13 The Philistines made yet another raid in the valley. Ch1 14:13 καὶ προσέθεντο ἔτι ἀλλόφυλοι καὶ συνέπεσαν ἔτι ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τῶν γιγάντων
1Ch 14:14 Therefore David enquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. 1 Chr 14:14 David inquired again of God, and God said to him, "You shall not go up after them; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. Ch1 14:14 καὶ ἠρώτησεν Δαυιδ ἔτι ἐν θεῷ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ θεός οὐ πορεύσῃ ὀπίσω αὐτῶν ἀποστρέφου ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ παρέσῃ αὐτοῖς πλησίον τῶν ἀπίων
1Ch 14:15 And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines. 1 Chr 14:15 It shall be when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall go out to battle, for God will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines." Ch1 14:15 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῷ ἀκοῦσαί σε τὴν φωνὴν τοῦ συσσεισμοῦ τῶν ἄκρων τῶν ἀπίων τότε ἐξελεύσῃ εἰς τὸν πόλεμον ὅτι ἐξῆλθεν ὁ θεὸς ἔμπροσθέν σου τοῦ πατάξαι τὴν παρεμβολὴν τῶν ἀλλοφύλων
1Ch 14:16 David therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer. 1 Chr 14:16 David did just as God had commanded him, and they struck down the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even as far as Gezer. Ch1 14:16 καὶ ἐποίησεν καθὼς ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ ὁ θεός καὶ ἐπάταξεν τὴν παρεμβολὴν τῶν ἀλλοφύλων ἀπὸ Γαβαων ἕως Γαζαρα
1Ch 14:17 And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the LORD brought the fear of him upon all nations. 1 Chr 14:17 Then the fame of David went out into all the lands; and the Lord brought the fear of him on all the nations. 1Ch 15:1 And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent. 1 Chr 15:1 Now David built houses for himself in the city of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it. Ch1 15:1 καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτῷ οἰκίας ἐν πόλει Δαυιδ καὶ ἡτοίμασεν τὸν τόπον τῇ κιβωτῷ τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτῇ σκηνήν
1Ch 15:2 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever. 1 Chr 15:2 Then David said, "No one is to carry the ark of God but the Levites; for the Lord chose them to carry the ark of God and to minister to Him forever." 1Ch 15:3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it. 1 Chr 15:3 And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the Lord to its place which he had prepared for it. Ch1 15:3 καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασεν Δαυιδ τὸν πάντα Ισραηλ εἰς Ιερουσαλημ τοῦ ἀνενέγκαι τὴν κιβωτὸν κυρίου εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἡτοίμασεν αὐτῇ
1Ch 15:4 And David assembled the children of Aaron, and the Levites: 1 Chr 15:4 David gathered together the sons of Aaron and the Levites: Ch1 15:4 καὶ συνήγαγεν Δαυιδ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ααρων καὶ τοὺς Λευίτας
1Ch 15:5 Of the sons of Kohath; Uriel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twenty: 1 Chr 15:5 of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and 120 of his relatives; Ch1 15:5 τῶν υἱῶν Κααθ Ουριηλ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι
1Ch 15:6 Of the sons of Merari; Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty: 1 Chr 15:6 of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and 220 of his relatives; Ch1 15:6 τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρι Ασαια ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα
1Ch 15:7 Of the sons of Gershom; Joel the chief and his brethren an hundred and thirty: 1 Chr 15:7 of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and 130 of his relatives; Ch1 15:7 τῶν υἱῶν Γηρσαμ Ιωηλ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ ἑκατὸν πεντήκοντα
1Ch 15:8 Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred: 1 Chr 15:8 of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and 200 of his relatives; Ch1 15:8 τῶν υἱῶν Ελισαφαν Σαμαιας ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ διακόσιοι
1Ch 15:9 Of the sons of Hebron; Eliel the chief, and his brethren fourscore: 1 Chr 15:9 of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and 80 of his relatives; Ch1 15:9 τῶν υἱῶν Χεβρων Ελιηλ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ ὀγδοήκοντα
1Ch 15:10 Of the sons of Uzziel; Amminadab the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twelve. 1 Chr 15:10 of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and 112 of his relatives. Ch1 15:10 τῶν υἱῶν Οζιηλ Αμιναδαβ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ ἑκατὸν δέκα δύο
1Ch 15:11 And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab, 1 Chr 15:11 Then David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel and Amminadab, Ch1 15:11 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Δαυιδ τὸν Σαδωκ καὶ Αβιαθαρ τοὺς ἱερεῖς καὶ τοὺς Λευίτας τὸν Ουριηλ Ασαια Ιωηλ Σαμαιαν Ελιηλ Αμιναδαβ
1Ch 15:12 And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it. 1 Chr 15:12 and said to them, "You are the heads of the fathers' households of the Levites; consecrate yourselves both you and your relatives, that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it. Ch1 15:12 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὑμεῖς ἄρχοντες πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν ἁγνίσθητε ὑμεῖς καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμῶν καὶ ἀνοίσετε τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ θεοῦ Ισραηλ οὗ ἡτοίμασα αὐτῇ
1Ch 15:13 For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order. 1 Chr 15:13 Because you did not carry it at the first, the Lord our God made an outburst on us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance." Ch1 15:13 ὅτι οὐκ ἐν τῷ πρότερον ὑμᾶς εἶναι διέκοψεν ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐν ἡμῖν ὅτι οὐκ ἐζητήσαμεν ἐν κρίματι
1Ch 15:14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel. 1 Chr 15:14 So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel. Ch1 15:14 καὶ ἡγνίσθησαν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται τοῦ ἀνενέγκαι τὴν κιβωτὸν θεοῦ Ισραηλ
