Psa 89:1 I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. Psa 89:1 I will sing of the lovingkindness of the Lord forever; To all generations I will make known Your faithfulness with my mouth. Psa 89:1 συνέσεως Αιθαν τῷ Ισραηλίτῃ
Psa 89:2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. Psa 89:2 For I have said," Lovingkindness will be built up forever; In the heavens You will establish Your faithfulness." Psa 89:2 τὰ ἐλέη σου κύριε εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ᾄσομαι εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεὰν ἀπαγγελῶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου ἐν τῷ στόματί μου
Psa 89:3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, Psa 89:3 "I have made a covenant with My chosen; I have sworn to David My servant, Psa 89:3 ὅτι εἶπας εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἔλεος οἰκοδομηθήσεται ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς ἑτοιμασθήσεται ἡ ἀλήθειά σου
Psa 89:4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. Psa 89:4 I will establish your seed forever And build up your throne to all generations." Selah. Psa 89:4 διεθέμην διαθήκην τοῖς ἐκλεκτοῖς μου ὤμοσα Δαυιδ τῷ δούλῳ μου
Psa 89:5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. Psa 89:5 The heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. Psa 89:5 ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος ἑτοιμάσω τὸ σπέρμα σου καὶ οἰκοδομήσω εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεὰν τὸν θρόνον σου διάψαλμα
Psa 89:6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD? Psa 89:6 For who in the skies is comparable to the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty is like the Lord, Psa 89:6 ἐξομολογήσονται οἱ οὐρανοὶ τὰ θαυμάσιά σου κύριε καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ ἁγίων
Psa 89:7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. Psa 89:7 A God greatly feared in the council of the holy ones, And awesome above all those who are around Him? Psa 89:7 ὅτι τίς ἐν νεφέλαις ἰσωθήσεται τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ τίς ὁμοιωθήσεται τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν υἱοῖς θεοῦ
Psa 89:8 O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? Psa 89:8 O Lord God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. Psa 89:8 ὁ θεὸς ἐνδοξαζόμενος ἐν βουλῇ ἁγίων μέγας καὶ φοβερὸς ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς περικύκλῳ αὐτοῦ
Psa 89:9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them. Psa 89:9 You rule the swelling of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them. Psa 89:9 κύριε ὁ θεὸς τῶν δυνάμεων τίς ὅμοιός σοι δυνατὸς εἶ κύριε καὶ ἡ ἀλήθειά σου κύκλῳ σου
Psa 89:10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm. Psa 89:10 You Yourself crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm. Psa 89:10 σὺ δεσπόζεις τοῦ κράτους τῆς θαλάσσης τὸν δὲ σάλον τῶν κυμάτων αὐτῆς σὺ καταπραΰνεις
Psa 89:11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them. Psa 89:11 The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all it contains, You have founded them. Psa 89:11 σὺ ἐταπείνωσας ὡς τραυματίαν ὑπερήφανον καὶ ἐν τῷ βραχίονι τῆς δυνάμεώς σου διεσκόρπισας τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου
Psa 89:12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. Psa 89:12 The north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon shout for joy at Your name. Psa 89:12 σοί εἰσιν οἱ οὐρανοί καὶ σή ἐστιν ἡ γῆ τὴν οἰκουμένην καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς σὺ ἐθεμελίωσας
Psa 89:13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. Psa 89:13 You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted. Psa 89:13 τὸν βορρᾶν καὶ θαλάσσας σὺ ἔκτισας Θαβωρ καὶ Ερμων ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἀγαλλιάσονται
Psa 89:14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Psa 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You. Psa 89:14 σὸς ὁ βραχίων μετὰ δυναστείας κραταιωθήτω ἡ χείρ σου ὑψωθήτω ἡ δεξιά σου
Psa 89:15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. Psa 89:15 How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O Lord, they walk in the light of Your countenance. Psa 89:15 δικαιοσύνη καὶ κρίμα ἑτοιμασία τοῦ θρόνου σου ἔλεος καὶ ἀλήθεια προπορεύσεται πρὸ προσώπου σου
Psa 89:16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. Psa 89:16 In Your name they rejoice all the day, And by Your righteousness they are exalted. Psa 89:16 μακάριος ὁ λαὸς ὁ γινώσκων ἀλαλαγμόν κύριε ἐν τῷ φωτὶ τοῦ προσώπου σου πορεύσονται
Psa 89:17 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. Psa 89:17 For You are the glory of their strength, And by Your favor our horn is exalted. Psa 89:17 καὶ ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἀγαλλιάσονται ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν καὶ ἐν τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ὑψωθήσονται
Psa 89:18 For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. Psa 89:18 For our shield belongs to the Lord, And our king to the Holy One of Israel. Psa 89:18 ὅτι τὸ καύχημα τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτῶν εἶ σύ καὶ ἐν τῇ εὐδοκίᾳ σου ὑψωθήσεται τὸ κέρας ἡμῶν
Psa 89:19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. Psa 89:19 Once You spoke in vision to Your godly ones, And said," I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people. Psa 89:19 ὅτι τοῦ κυρίου ἡ ἀντίλημψις καὶ τοῦ ἁγίου Ισραηλ βασιλέως ἡμῶν
Psa 89:20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: Psa 89:20 "I have found David My servant; With My holy oil I have anointed him, Psa 89:20 τότε ἐλάλησας ἐν ὁράσει τοῖς ὁσίοις σου καὶ εἶπας ἐθέμην βοήθειαν ἐπὶ δυνατόν ὕψωσα ἐκλεκτὸν ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ μου
Psa 89:21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. Psa 89:21 With whom My hand will be established; My arm also will strengthen him. Psa 89:21 εὗρον Δαυιδ τὸν δοῦλόν μου ἐν ἐλαίῳ ἁγίῳ μου ἔχρισα αὐτόν
Psa 89:22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. Psa 89:22 "The enemy will not deceive him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him. Psa 89:22 ἡ γὰρ χείρ μου συναντιλήμψεται αὐτῷ καὶ ὁ βραχίων μου κατισχύσει αὐτόν
Psa 89:23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. Psa 89:23 "But I shall crush his adversaries before him, And strike those who hate him. Psa 89:23 οὐκ ὠφελήσει ἐχθρὸς ἐν αὐτῷ καὶ υἱὸς ἀνομίας οὐ προσθήσει τοῦ κακῶσαι αὐτόν
Psa 89:24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted. Psa 89:24 "My faithfulness and My lovingkindness will be with him, And in My name his horn will be exalted. Psa 89:24 καὶ συγκόψω τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς μισοῦντας αὐτὸν τροπώσομαι
Psa 89:25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. Psa 89:25 "I shall also set his hand on the sea And his right hand on the rivers. Psa 89:25 καὶ ἡ ἀλήθειά μου καὶ τὸ ἔλεός μου μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου ὑψωθήσεται τὸ κέρας αὐτοῦ
Psa 89:26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. Psa 89:26 "He will cry to Me, 'You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation. ' Psa 89:26 καὶ θήσομαι ἐν θαλάσσῃ χεῖρα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν ποταμοῖς δεξιὰν αὐτοῦ
Psa 89:27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. Psa 89:27 "I also shall make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth. Psa 89:27 αὐτὸς ἐπικαλέσεταί με πατήρ μου εἶ σύ θεός μου καὶ ἀντιλήμπτωρ τῆς σωτηρίας μου
Psa 89:28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. Psa 89:28 "My lovingkindness I will keep for him forever, And My covenant shall be confirmed to him. Psa 89:28 κἀγὼ πρωτότοκον θήσομαι αὐτόν ὑψηλὸν παρὰ τοῖς βασιλεῦσιν τῆς γῆς
Psa 89:29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. Psa 89:29 "So I will establish his descendants forever And his throne as the days of heaven. Psa 89:29 εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα φυλάξω αὐτῷ τὸ ἔλεός μου καὶ ἡ διαθήκη μου πιστὴ αὐτῷ
Psa 89:30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; Psa 89:30 "If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments, Psa 89:30 καὶ θήσομαι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ ὡς τὰς ἡμέρας τοῦ οὐρανοῦ
Psa 89:31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; Psa 89:31 If they violate My statutes And do not keep My commandments, Psa 89:31 ἐὰν ἐγκαταλίπωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ τὸν νόμον μου καὶ τοῖς κρίμασίν μου μὴ πορευθῶσιν
Psa 89:32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. Psa 89:32 Then I will punish their transgression with the rod And their iniquity with stripes. Psa 89:32 ἐὰν τὰ δικαιώματά μου βεβηλώσουσιν καὶ τὰς ἐντολάς μου μὴ φυλάξωσιν
Psa 89:33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. Psa 89:33 "But I will not break off My lovingkindness from him, Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness. Psa 89:33 ἐπισκέψομαι ἐν ῥάβδῳ τὰς ἀνομίας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν μάστιξιν τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν
Psa 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Psa 89:34 "My covenant I will not violate, Nor will I alter the utterance of My lips. Psa 89:34 τὸ δὲ ἔλεός μου οὐ μὴ διασκεδάσω ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ οὐδὲ μὴ ἀδικήσω ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ μου
Psa 89:35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. Psa 89:35 "Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David. Psa 89:35 οὐδὲ μὴ βεβηλώσω τὴν διαθήκην μου καὶ τὰ ἐκπορευόμενα διὰ τῶν χειλέων μου οὐ μὴ ἀθετήσω
Psa 89:36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. Psa 89:36 "His descendants shall endure forever And his throne as the sun before Me. Psa 89:36 ἅπαξ ὤμοσα ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ μου εἰ τῷ Δαυιδ ψεύσομαι
Psa 89:37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. Psa 89:37 "It shall be established forever like the moon, And the witness in the sky is faithful." Selah. Psa 89:37 τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα μενεῖ καὶ ὁ θρόνος αὐτοῦ ὡς ὁ ἥλιος ἐναντίον μου
Psa 89:38 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed. Psa 89:38 But You have cast off and rejected, You have been full of wrath against Your anointed. Psa 89:38 καὶ ὡς ἡ σελήνη κατηρτισμένη εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ὁ μάρτυς ἐν οὐρανῷ πιστός διάψαλμα
Psa 89:39 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground. Psa 89:39 You have spurned the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his crown in the dust. Psa 89:39 σὺ δὲ ἀπώσω καὶ ἐξουδένωσας ἀνεβάλου τὸν χριστόν σου
Psa 89:40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin. Psa 89:40 You have broken down all his walls; You have brought his strongholds to ruin. Psa 89:40 κατέστρεψας τὴν διαθήκην τοῦ δούλου σου ἐβεβήλωσας εἰς τὴν γῆν τὸ ἁγίασμα αὐτοῦ
Psa 89:41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours. Psa 89:41 All who pass along the way plunder him; He has become a reproach to his neighbors. Psa 89:41 καθεῖλες πάντας τοὺς φραγμοὺς αὐτοῦ ἔθου τὰ ὀχυρώματα αὐτοῦ δειλίαν

Psa 89:43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle. Psa 89:43 You also turn back the edge of his sword And have not made him stand in battle. Psa 89:43 ὕψωσας τὴν δεξιὰν τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτοῦ εὔφρανας πάντας τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ
Psa 89:44 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground. Psa 89:44 You have made his splendor to cease And cast his throne to the ground. Psa 89:44 ἀπέστρεψας τὴν βοήθειαν τῆς ῥομφαίας αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἀντελάβου αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ
Psa 89:45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah. Psa 89:45 You have shortened the days of his youth; You have covered him with shame. Selah. Psa 89:45 κατέλυσας ἀπὸ καθαρισμοῦ αὐτόν τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν γῆν κατέρραξας
Psa 89:46 How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire? Psa 89:46 How long, O Lord? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath burn like fire? Psa 89:46 ἐσμίκρυνας τὰς ἡμέρας τοῦ χρόνου αὐτοῦ κατέχεας αὐτοῦ αἰσχύνην διάψαλμα
Psa 89:47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain? Psa 89:47 Remember what my span of life is; For what vanity You have created all the sons of men! Psa 89:47 ἕως πότε κύριε ἀποστρέψεις εἰς τέλος ἐκκαυθήσεται ὡς πῦρ ἡ ὀργή σου
Psa 89:48 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah. Psa 89:48 What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah. Psa 89:48 μνήσθητι τίς μου ἡ ὑπόστασις μὴ γὰρ ματαίως ἔκτισας πάντας τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων
Psa 89:49 Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth? Psa 89:49 Where are Your former lovingkindnesses, O Lord, Which You swore to David in Your faithfulness? Psa 89:51 Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed. Psa 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Psa 90:3 Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. Psa 90:3 You turn man back into dust And say," Return, O children of men. " Psa 90:3 μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς ἄνθρωπον εἰς ταπείνωσιν καὶ εἶπας ἐπιστρέψατε υἱοὶ ἀνθρώπων
Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it passes by, Or as a watch in the night. Psa 90:4 ὅτι χίλια ἔτη ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς σου ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ ἐχθές ἥτις διῆλθεν καὶ φυλακὴ ἐν νυκτί
Psa 90:5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. Psa 90:5 You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew. Psa 90:5 τὰ ἐξουδενώματα αὐτῶν ἔτη ἔσονται τὸ πρωὶ ὡσεὶ χλόη παρέλθοι
Psa 90:6 In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth. Psa 90:6 In the morning it flourishes and sprouts anew; Toward evening it fades and withers away. Psa 90:6 τὸ πρωὶ ἀνθήσαι καὶ παρέλθοι τὸ ἑσπέρας ἀποπέσοι σκληρυνθείη καὶ ξηρανθείη
Psa 90:7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. Psa 90:7 For we have been consumed by Your anger And by Your wrath we have been dismayed. Psa 90:7 ὅτι ἐξελίπομεν ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ σου καὶ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ σου ἐταράχθημεν
Psa 90:8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. Psa 90:8 You have placed our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your presence. Psa 90:8 ἔθου τὰς ἀνομίας ἡμῶν ἐνώπιόν σου ὁ αἰὼν ἡμῶν εἰς φωτισμὸν τοῦ προσώπου σου
Psa 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. Psa 90:9 For all our days have declined in Your fury; We have finished our years like a sigh. Psa 90:9 ὅτι πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι ἡμῶν ἐξέλιπον καὶ ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ σου ἐξελίπομεν τὰ ἔτη ἡμῶν ὡς ἀράχνην ἐμελέτων
Psa 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Psa 90:10 As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we fly away. Psa 94:20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? Psa 94:20 Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree? Psa 94:20 μὴ συμπροσέσται σοι θρόνος ἀνομίας ὁ πλάσσων κόπον ἐπὶ προστάγματι
Psa 94:21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. Psa 94:21 They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death. Psa 94:21 θηρεύσουσιν ἐπὶ ψυχὴν δικαίου καὶ αἷμα ἀθῷον καταδικάσονται
Psa 94:22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. Psa 94:22 But the Lord has been my stronghold, And my God the rock of my refuge. Psa 94:22 καὶ ἐγένετό μοι κύριος εἰς καταφυγὴν καὶ ὁ θεός μου εἰς βοηθὸν ἐλπίδος μου
Psa 94:23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off. Psa 94:23 He has brought back their wickedness upon them And will destroy them in their evil; The Lord our God will destroy them. Psa 94:23 καὶ ἀποδώσει αὐτοῖς τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτῶν καὶ κατὰ τὴν πονηρίαν αὐτῶν ἀφανιεῖ αὐτοὺς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν
