Job 39:1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve? Job 39:1 "Do you know the time the mountain goats give birth? Do you observe the calving of the deer? Job 39:1 εἰ ἔγνως καιρὸν τοκετοῦ τραγελάφων πέτρας ἐφύλαξας δὲ ὠδῖνας ἐλάφων
Job 39:2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth? Job 39:2 "Can you count the months they fulfill, Or do you know the time they give birth? Job 39:2 ἠρίθμησας δὲ αὐτῶν μῆνας πλήρεις τοκετοῦ ὠδῖνας δὲ αὐτῶν ἔλυσας
Job 39:3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows. Job 39:3 "They kneel down, they bring forth their young, They get rid of their labor pains. Job 39:3 ἐξέθρεψας δὲ αὐτῶν τὰ παιδία ἔξω φόβου ὠδῖνας αὐτῶν ἐξαποστελεῖς
Job 39:4 Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them. Job 39:4 "Their offspring become strong, they grow up in the open field; They leave and do not return to them. Job 39:4 ἀπορρήξουσιν τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν πληθυνθήσονται ἐν γενήματι ἐξελεύσονται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀνακάμψουσιν αὐτοῖς
Job 39:5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass? Job 39:5 "Who sent out the wild donkey free? And who loosed the bonds of the swift donkey, Job 39:5 τίς δέ ἐστιν ὁ ἀφεὶς ὄνον ἄγριον ἐλεύθερον δεσμοὺς δὲ αὐτοῦ τίς ἔλυσεν
Job 39:6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings. Job 39:6 To whom I gave the wilderness for a home And the salt land for his dwelling place? Job 39:6 ἐθέμην δὲ τὴν δίαιταν αὐτοῦ ἔρημον καὶ τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτοῦ ἁλμυρίδα
Job 39:7 He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver. Job 39:7 "He scorns the tumult of the city, The shoutings of the driver he does not hear. Job 39:7 καταγελῶν πολυοχλίας πόλεως μέμψιν δὲ φορολόγου οὐκ ἀκούων
Job 39:8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing. Job 39:8 "He explores the mountains for his pasture And searches after every green thing. Job 39:8 κατασκέψεται ὄρη νομὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ὀπίσω παντὸς χλωροῦ ζητεῖ
Job 39:9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Job 39:9 "Will the wild ox consent to serve you, Or will he spend the night at your manger? Job 39:9 βουλήσεται δέ σοι μονόκερως δουλεῦσαι ἢ κοιμηθῆναι ἐπὶ φάτνης σου
Job 39:10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? Job 39:10 "Can you bind the wild ox in a furrow with ropes, Or will he harrow the valleys after you? Job 39:10 δήσεις δὲ ἐν ἱμᾶσι ζυγὸν αὐτοῦ ἢ ἑλκύσει σου αὔλακας ἐν πεδίῳ
Job 39:11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? Job 39:11 "Will you trust him because his strength is great And leave your labor to him? Job 39:11 πέποιθας δὲ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ὅτι πολλὴ ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ ἐπαφήσεις δὲ αὐτῷ τὰ ἔργα σου
Job 39:12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn? Job 39:12 "Will you have faith in him that he will return your grain And gather it from your threshing floor? Job 39:12 πιστεύσεις δὲ ὅτι ἀποδώσει σοι τὸν σπόρον εἰσοίσει δέ σου τὸν ἅλωνα
Job 39:13 Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Job 39:13 "The ostriches' wings flap joyously With the pinion and plumage of love, Job 39:13 πτέρυξ τερπομένων νεελασα ἐὰν συλλάβῃ ασιδα καὶ νεσσα
Job 39:14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, Job 39:14 For she abandons her eggs to the earth And warms them in the dust, Job 39:14 ὅτι ἀφήσει εἰς γῆν τὰ ᾠὰ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπὶ χοῦν θάλψει
Job 39:15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. Job 39:15 And she forgets that a foot may crush them, Or that a wild beast may trample them. Job 39:15 καὶ ἐπελάθετο ὅτι ποὺς σκορπιεῖ καὶ θηρία ἀγροῦ καταπατήσει
Job 39:16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear; Job 39:16 "She treats her young cruelly, as if they were not hers; Though her labor be in vain, she is unconcerned; Job 39:16 ἀπεσκλήρυνεν τὰ τέκνα αὐτῆς ὥστε μὴ ἑαυτῇ εἰς κενὸν ἐκοπίασεν ἄνευ φόβου
Job 39:17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. Job 39:17 Because God has made her forget wisdom, And has not given her a share of understanding. Job 39:17 ὅτι κατεσιώπησεν αὐτῇ ὁ θεὸς σοφίαν καὶ οὐκ ἐμέρισεν αὐτῇ ἐν τῇ συνέσει
Job 39:18 What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. Job 39:18 "When she lifts herself on high, She laughs at the horse and his rider. Job 39:18 κατὰ καιρὸν ἐν ὕψει ὑψώσει καταγελάσεται ἵππου καὶ τοῦ ἐπιβάτου αὐτοῦ
Job 39:19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder? Job 39:19 "Do you give the horse his might? Do you clothe his neck with a mane? Job 39:19 ἦ σὺ περιέθηκας ἵππῳ δύναμιν ἐνέδυσας δὲ τραχήλῳ αὐτοῦ φόβον
Job 39:20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. Job 39:20 "Do you make him leap like the locust? His majestic snorting is terrible. Job 39:20 περιέθηκας δὲ αὐτῷ πανοπλίαν δόξαν δὲ στηθέων αὐτοῦ τόλμῃ
Job 39:21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men. Job 39:21 "He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength; He goes out to meet the weapons. Job 39:21 ἀνορύσσων ἐν πεδίῳ γαυριᾷ ἐκπορεύεται δὲ εἰς πεδίον ἐν ἰσχύι
Job 39:22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. Job 39:22 "He laughs at fear and is not dismayed; And he does not turn back from the sword. Job 39:22 συναντῶν βέλει καταγελᾷ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποστραφῇ ἀπὸ σιδήρου
Job 39:23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield. Job 39:23 "The quiver rattles against him, The flashing spear and javelin. Job 39:23 ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ γαυριᾷ τόξον καὶ μάχαιρα
Job 39:24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet. Job 39:24 "With shaking and rage he races over the ground, And he does not stand still at the voice of the trumpet. Job 39:24 καὶ ὀργῇ ἀφανιεῖ τὴν γῆν καὶ οὐ μὴ πιστεύσῃ ἕως ἂν σημάνῃ σάλπιγξ
Job 39:25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting. Job 39:25 "As often as the trumpet sounds he says, 'Aha!' And he scents the battle from afar, And the thunder of the captains and the war cry. Job 39:25 σάλπιγγος δὲ σημαινούσης λέγει εὖγε πόρρωθεν δὲ ὀσφραίνεται πολέμου σὺν ἅλματι καὶ κραυγῇ
Job 39:26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south? Job 39:26 "Is it by your understanding that the hawk soars, Stretching his wings toward the south? Job 39:26 ἐκ δὲ τῆς σῆς ἐπιστήμης ἕστηκεν ἱέραξ ἀναπετάσας τὰς πτέρυγας ἀκίνητος καθορῶν τὰ πρὸς νότον
Job 39:27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? Job 39:27 "Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up And makes his nest on high? Job 39:27 ἐπὶ δὲ σῷ προστάγματι ὑψοῦται ἀετός γὺψ δὲ ἐπὶ νοσσιᾶς αὐτοῦ καθεσθεὶς αὐλίζεται
Job 39:28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. Job 39:28 "On the cliff he dwells and lodges, Upon the rocky crag, an inaccessible place. Job 39:28 ἐπ᾽ ἐξοχῇ πέτρας καὶ ἀποκρύφῳ
Job 39:29 From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. Job 39:29 "From there he spies out food; His eyes see it from afar. Job 39:29 ἐκεῖσε ὢν ζητεῖ τὰ σῖτα πόρρωθεν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ σκοπεύουσιν
Job 39:30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she. Job 39:30 "His young ones also suck up blood; And where the slain are, there is he." Job 39:30 νεοσσοὶ δὲ αὐτοῦ φύρονται ἐν αἵματι οὗ δ᾽ ἂν ὦσι τεθνεῶτες παραχρῆμα εὑρίσκονται
Job 40:1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said, Job 40:1 Then the Lord said to Job, Job 40:1 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῷ Ιωβ καὶ εἶπεν
Job 40:2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it. Job 40:2 "Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who reproves God answer it." Job 40:2 μὴ κρίσιν μετὰ ἱκανοῦ ἐκκλινεῖ ἐλέγχων θεὸν ἀποκριθήσεται αὐτήν
Job 40:3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said, Job 40:3 Then Job answered the Lord and said, Job 40:3 ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ιωβ λέγει τῷ κυρίῳ
Job 40:4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. Job 40:4 "Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth. Job 40:4 τί ἔτι ἐγὼ κρίνομαι νουθετούμενος καὶ ἐλέγχων κύριον ἀκούων τοιαῦτα οὐθὲν ὤν ἐγὼ δὲ τίνα ἀπόκρισιν δῶ πρὸς ταῦτα χεῖρα θήσω ἐπὶ στόματί μου
Job 40:5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further. Job 40:5 "Once I have spoken, and I will not answer; Even twice, and I will add nothing more." Job 40:5 ἅπαξ λελάληκα ἐπὶ δὲ τῷ δευτέρῳ οὐ προσθήσω
Job 40:6 Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Job 40:6 Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm and said, Job 40:6 ἔτι δὲ ὑπολαβὼν ὁ κύριος εἶπεν τῷ Ιωβ ἐκ τοῦ νέφους
Job 40:7 Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. Job 40:7 "Now gird up your loins like a man; I will ask you, and you instruct Me. Job 40:7 μή ἀλλὰ ζῶσαι ὥσπερ ἀνὴρ τὴν ὀσφύν σου ἐρωτήσω δέ σε σὺ δέ μοι ἀποκρίθητι
Job 40:8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous? Job 40:8 "Will you really annul My judgment? Will you condemn Me that you may be justified? Job 40:8 μὴ ἀποποιοῦ μου τὸ κρίμα οἴει δέ με ἄλλως σοι κεχρηματικέναι ἢ ἵνα ἀναφανῇς δίκαιος
Job 40:9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? Job 40:9 "Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His? Job 40:9 ἦ βραχίων σοί ἐστιν κατὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἢ φωνῇ κατ᾽ αὐτὸν βροντᾷς
Job 40:10 Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. Job 40:10 "Adorn yourself with eminence and dignity, And clothe yourself with honor and majesty. Job 40:10 ἀνάλαβε δὴ ὕψος καὶ δύναμιν δόξαν δὲ καὶ τιμὴν ἀμφίεσαι
Job 40:11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. Job 40:11 "Pour out the overflowings of your anger, And look on everyone who is proud, and make him low. Job 40:11 ἀπόστειλον δὲ ἀγγέλους ὀργῇ πᾶν δὲ ὑβριστὴν ταπείνωσον
Job 40:12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. Job 40:12 "Look on everyone who is proud, and humble him, And tread down the wicked where they stand. Job 40:12 ὑπερήφανον δὲ σβέσον σῆψον δὲ ἀσεβεῖς παραχρῆμα
Job 40:13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret. Job 40:13 "Hide them in the dust together; Bind them in the hidden place. Job 40:13 κρύψον δὲ εἰς γῆν ἔξω ὁμοθυμαδόν τὰ δὲ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν ἀτιμίας ἔμπλησον
Job 40:14 Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee. Job 40:14 "Then I will also confess to you, That your own right hand can save you. Job 40:14 ὁμολογήσω ἄρα ὅτι δύναται ἡ δεξιά σου σῶσαι
Job 40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Job 40:15 "Behold now, Behemoth, which I made as well as you; He eats grass like an ox. Job 40:15 ἀλλὰ δὴ ἰδοὺ θηρία παρὰ σοί χόρτον ἴσα βουσὶν ἐσθίει
Job 40:16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. Job 40:16 "Behold now, his strength in his loins And his power in the muscles of his belly. Job 40:16 ἰδοὺ δὴ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ ὀσφύι ἡ δὲ δύναμις ἐπ᾽ ὀμφαλοῦ γαστρός
Job 40:17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. Job 40:17 "He bends his tail like a cedar; The sinews of his thighs are knit together. Job 40:17 ἔστησεν οὐρὰν ὡς κυπάρισσον τὰ δὲ νεῦρα αὐτοῦ συμπέπλεκται
Job 40:18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. Job 40:18 "His bones are tubes of bronze; His limbs are like bars of iron. Job 40:18 αἱ πλευραὶ αὐτοῦ πλευραὶ χάλκειαι ἡ δὲ ῥάχις αὐτοῦ σίδηρος χυτός
Job 40:19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Job 40:19 "He is the first of the ways of God; Let his maker bring near his sword. Job 40:19 τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν ἀρχὴ πλάσματος κυρίου πεποιημένον ἐγκαταπαίζεσθαι ὑπὸ τῶν ἀγγέλων αὐτοῦ
Job 40:20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. Job 40:20 "Surely the mountains bring him food, And all the beasts of the field play there. Job 40:20 ἐπελθὼν δὲ ἐπ᾽ ὄρος ἀκρότομον ἐποίησεν χαρμονὴν τετράποσιν ἐν τῷ ταρτάρῳ
Job 40:21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. Job 40:21 "Under the lotus plants he lies down, In the covert of the reeds and the marsh. Job 40:21 ὑπὸ παντοδαπὰ δένδρα κοιμᾶται παρὰ πάπυρον καὶ κάλαμον καὶ βούτομον
Job 40:22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. Job 40:22 "The lotus plants cover him with shade; The willows of the brook surround him. Job 40:22 σκιάζονται δὲ ἐν αὐτῷ δένδρα μεγάλα σὺν ῥαδάμνοις καὶ κλῶνες ἄγνου
Job 40:23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. Job 40:23 "If a river rages, he is not alarmed; He is confident, though the Jordan rushes to his mouth. Job 40:23 ἐὰν γένηται πλήμμυρα οὐ μὴ αἰσθηθῇ πέποιθεν ὅτι προσκρούσει ὁ Ιορδάνης εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ
Job 40:24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares. Job 40:24 "Can anyone capture him when he is on watch, With barbs can anyone pierce his nose? Job 40:24 ἐν τῷ ὀφθαλμῷ αὐτοῦ δέξεται αὐτόν ἐνσκολιευόμενος τρήσει ῥῖνα
Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? Job 41:1 "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord? Job 40:25 ἄξεις δὲ δράκοντα ἐν ἀγκίστρῳ περιθήσεις δὲ φορβεὰν περὶ ῥῖνα αὐτοῦ
Job 41:2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? Job 41:2 "Can you put a rope in his nose Or pierce his jaw with a hook? Job 40:26 εἰ δήσεις κρίκον ἐν τῷ μυκτῆρι αὐτοῦ ψελίῳ δὲ τρυπήσεις τὸ χεῖλος αὐτοῦ
Job 41:3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee? Job 41:3 "Will he make many supplications to you, Or will he speak to you soft words? Job 40:27 λαλήσει δέ σοι δεήσει ἱκετηρίᾳ μαλακῶς
Job 41:4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever? Job 41:4 "Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him for a servant forever? Job 40:28 θήσεται δὲ διαθήκην μετὰ σοῦ λήμψῃ δὲ αὐτὸν δοῦλον αἰώνιον
Job 41:5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens? Job 41:5 "Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you bind him for your maidens? Job 40:29 παίξῃ δὲ ἐν αὐτῷ ὥσπερ ὀρνέῳ ἢ δήσεις αὐτὸν ὥσπερ στρουθίον παιδίῳ
Job 41:6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants? Job 41:6 "Will the traders bargain over him? Will they divide him among the merchants? Job 40:30 ἐνσιτοῦνται δὲ ἐν αὐτῷ ἔθνη μεριτεύονται δὲ αὐτὸν φοινίκων γένη
Job 41:7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears? Job 41:7 "Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears? Job 40:31 πᾶν δὲ πλωτὸν συνελθὸν οὐ μὴ ἐνέγκωσιν βύρσαν μίαν οὐρᾶς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν πλοίοις ἁλιέων κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ
Job 41:8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more. Job 41:8 "Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle; you will not do it again! Job 40:32 ἐπιθήσεις δὲ αὐτῷ χεῖρα μνησθεὶς πόλεμον τὸν γινόμενον ἐν σώματι αὐτοῦ καὶ μηκέτι γινέσθω
Job 41:9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him? Job 41:9 "Behold, your expectation is false; Will you be laid low even at the sight of him? Job 41:1 οὐχ ἑόρακας αὐτὸν οὐδὲ ἐπὶ τοῖς λεγομένοις τεθαύμακας
Job 41:10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? Job 41:10 "No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me? Job 41:2 οὐ δέδοικας ὅτι ἡτοίμασταί μοι τίς γάρ ἐστιν ὁ ἐμοὶ ἀντιστάς
Job 41:11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine. Job 41:11 "Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine. Job 41:3 ἢ τίς ἀντιστήσεταί μοι καὶ ὑπομενεῖ εἰ πᾶσα ἡ ὑπ᾽ οὐρανὸν ἐμή ἐστιν
Job 41:12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. Job 41:12 "I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, Or his mighty strength, or his orderly frame. Job 41:4 οὐ σιωπήσομαι δι᾽ αὐτόν καὶ λόγον δυνάμεως ἐλεήσει τὸν ἴσον αὐτοῦ
Job 41:13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle? Job 41:13 "Who can strip off his outer armor? Who can come within his double mail? Job 41:5 τίς ἀποκαλύψει πρόσωπον ἐνδύσεως αὐτοῦ εἰς δὲ πτύξιν θώρακος αὐτοῦ τίς ἂν εἰσέλθοι
Job 41:14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about. Job 41:14 "Who can open the doors of his face? Around his teeth there is terror. Job 41:6 πύλας προσώπου αὐτοῦ τίς ἀνοίξει κύκλῳ ὀδόντων αὐτοῦ φόβος
Job 41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal. Job 41:15 "His strong scales are his pride, Shut up as with a tight seal. Job 41:7 τὰ ἔγκατα αὐτοῦ ἀσπίδες χάλκειαι σύνδεσμος δὲ αὐτοῦ ὥσπερ σμιρίτης λίθος
Job 41:16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them. Job 41:16 "One is so near to another That no air can come between them. Job 41:8 εἷς τοῦ ἑνὸς κολλῶνται πνεῦμα δὲ οὐ μὴ διέλθῃ αὐτόν
Job 41:17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered. Job 41:17 "They are joined one to another; They clasp each other and cannot be separated. Job 41:9 ἀνὴρ τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ προσκολληθήσεται συνέχονται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποσπασθῶσιν

Job 42:7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. Job 42:7 It came about after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is right as My servant Job has. Job 42 8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. For I will accept him so that I may not do with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has." Job 42:9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job. Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10 The Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased all that Job had twofold. Job 42 11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. Job 42:11 Then all his brothers and all his sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversities that the Lord had brought on him. And each one gave him one piece of money, and each a ring of gold. Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
