Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psa 1:1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! Psa 1:1 μακάριος ἀνήρ ὃς οὐκ ἐπορεύθη ἐν βουλῇ ἀσεβῶν καὶ ἐν ὁδῷ ἁμαρτωλῶν οὐκ ἔστη καὶ ἐπὶ καθέδραν λοιμῶν οὐκ ἐκάθισεν
Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. Psa 1:2 ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἐν τῷ νόμῳ κυρίου τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ νόμῳ αὐτοῦ μελετήσει ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός
Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psa 1:3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. Psa 1:3 καὶ ἔσται ὡς τὸ ξύλον τὸ πεφυτευμένον παρὰ τὰς διεξόδους τῶν ὑδάτων ὃ τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ δώσει ἐν καιρῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ φύλλον αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἀπορρυήσεται καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἂν ποιῇ κατευοδωθήσεται
Psa 1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Psa 1:4 The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away. Psa 1:4 οὐχ οὕτως οἱ ἀσεβεῖς οὐχ οὕτως ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ὡς ὁ χνοῦς ὃν ἐκριπτεῖ ὁ ἄνεμος ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς γῆς
Psa 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. Psa 1:5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. Psa 1:5 διὰ τοῦτο οὐκ ἀναστήσονται ἀσεβεῖς ἐν κρίσει οὐδὲ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐν βουλῇ δικαίων
Psa 1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psa 1:6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish. Psa 1:6 ὅτι γινώσκει κύριος ὁδὸν δικαίων καὶ ὁδὸς ἀσεβῶν ἀπολεῖται
Psa 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? Psa 2:1 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? Psa 2:1 ἵνα τί ἐφρύαξαν ἔθνη καὶ λαοὶ ἐμελέτησαν κενά
Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, Psa 2:2 παρέστησαν οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες συνήχθησαν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ κατὰ τοῦ κυρίου καὶ κατὰ τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ διάψαλμα
Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. Psa 2:3 "Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!" Psa 2:3 διαρρήξωμεν τοὺς δεσμοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπορρίψωμεν ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν τὸν ζυγὸν αὐτῶν
Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. Psa 2:4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Psa 2:4 ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς ἐκγελάσεται αὐτούς καὶ ὁ κύριος ἐκμυκτηριεῖ αὐτούς
Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Psa 2:5 Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, Psa 2:5 τότε λαλήσει πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἐν ὀργῇ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ αὐτοῦ ταράξει αὐτούς
Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. Psa 2:6 "But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain." Psa 2:6 ἐγὼ δὲ κατεστάθην βασιλεὺς ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ Σιων ὄρος τὸ ἅγιον αὐτοῦ
Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Psa 2:7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Psa 2:7 διαγγέλλων τὸ πρόσταγμα κυρίου κύριος εἶπεν πρός με υἱός μου εἶ σύ ἐγὼ σήμερον γεγέννηκά σε
Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Psa 2:8 'Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. Psa 2:8 αἴτησαι παρ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ δώσω σοι ἔθνη τὴν κληρονομίαν σου καὶ τὴν κατάσχεσίν σου τὰ πέρατα τῆς γῆς
Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Psa 2:9 'You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'" Psa 2:9 ποιμανεῖς αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥάβδῳ σιδηρᾷ ὡς σκεῦος κεραμέως συντρίψεις αὐτούς
Psa 2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Psa 2:10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth. Psa 2:10 καὶ νῦν βασιλεῖς σύνετε παιδεύθητε πάντες οἱ κρίνοντες τὴν γῆν
Psa 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Psa 2:11 Worship the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling. Psa 2:11 δουλεύσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν φόβῳ καὶ ἀγαλλιᾶσθε αὐτῷ ἐν τρόμῳ
Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. Psa 2:12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! Psa 2:12 δράξασθε παιδείας μήποτε ὀργισθῇ κύριος καὶ ἀπολεῖσθε ἐξ ὁδοῦ δικαίας ὅταν ἐκκαυθῇ ἐν τάχει ὁ θυμὸς αὐτοῦ μακάριοι πάντες οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ
Psa 3:1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Psa 3:1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O Lord, how my adversaries have increased! Many are rising up against me. Psa 3:1 ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ ὁπότε ἀπεδίδρασκεν ἀπὸ προσώπου Αβεσσαλωμ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ
Psa 3:2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. Psa 3:2 Many are saying of my soul, "There is no deliverance for him in God." Selah. Psa 3:2 κύριε τί ἐπληθύνθησαν οἱ θλίβοντές με πολλοὶ ἐπανίστανται ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ
Psa 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psa 3:3 But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. Psa 3:3 πολλοὶ λέγουσιν τῇ ψυχῇ μου οὐκ ἔστιν σωτηρία αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ θεῷ αὐτοῦ διάψαλμα
Psa 3:4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. Psa 3:4 I was crying to the Lord with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah. Psa 3:4 σὺ δέ κύριε ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἶ δόξα μου καὶ ὑψῶν τὴν κεφαλήν μου
Psa 3:5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. Psa 3:5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me. Psa 3:5 φωνῇ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐκέκραξα καὶ ἐπήκουσέν μου ἐξ ὄρους ἁγίου αὐτοῦ διάψαλμα
Psa 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Psa 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me round about. Psa 3:6 ἐγὼ ἐκοιμήθην καὶ ὕπνωσα ἐξηγέρθην ὅτι κύριος ἀντιλήμψεταί μου
Psa 3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Psa 3:7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have smitten all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked. Psa 3:7 οὐ φοβηθήσομαι ἀπὸ μυριάδων λαοῦ τῶν κύκλῳ συνεπιτιθεμένων μοι
Psa 3:8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. Psa 3:8 Salvation belongs to the Lord; Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah. Psa:3:8:ἀνάστα κύριε σῶσόν με ὁ θεός μου ὅτι σὺ ἐπάταξας πάντας τοὺς ἐχθραίνοντάς μοι ματαίως ὀδόντας ἁμαρτωλῶν συνέτριψας Psa 3:9 τοῦ κυρίου ἡ σωτηρία καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν σου ἡ εὐλογία σου
Psa 4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. Psa 4:1 A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Be gracious to me and hear my prayer. Psa 4:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ἐν ψαλμοῖς ᾠδὴ τῷ Δαυιδ
Psa 4:2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. Psa 4:2 O sons of men, how long will my honor become a reproach? How long will you love what is worthless and aim at deception? Selah. Psa 4:2 ἐν τῷ ἐπικαλεῖσθαί με εἰσήκουσέν μου ὁ θεὸς τῆς δικαιοσύνης μου ἐν θλίψει ἐπλάτυνάς μοι οἰκτίρησόν με καὶ εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου
Psa 4:3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. Psa 4:3 But know that the Lord has set apart the godly man for Himself; The Lord hears when I call to Him. Psa 4:3 υἱοὶ ἀνθρώπων ἕως πότε βαρυκάρδιοι ἵνα τί ἀγαπᾶτε ματαιότητα καὶ ζητεῖτε ψεῦδος διάψαλμα
Psa 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Psa 4:4 Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Psa 4:4 καὶ γνῶτε ὅτι ἐθαυμάστωσεν κύριος τὸν ὅσιον αὐτοῦ κύριος εἰσακούσεταί μου ἐν τῷ κεκραγέναι με πρὸς αὐτόν
Psa 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. Psa 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in the Lord. Psa 4:5 ὀργίζεσθε καὶ μὴ ἁμαρτάνετε λέγετε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς κοίταις ὑμῶν κατανύγητε διάψαλμα
Psa 4:6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. Psa 4:6 Many are saying, "Who will show us any good?" Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O Lord! Psa 4:6 θύσατε θυσίαν δικαιοσύνης καὶ ἐλπίσατε ἐπὶ κύριον
Psa 4:7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. Psa 4:7 You have put gladness in my heart, More than when their grain and new wine abound. Psa 4:7 πολλοὶ λέγουσιν τίς δείξει ἡμῖν τὰ ἀγαθά ἐσημειώθη ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς τὸ φῶς τοῦ προσώπου σου κύριε
Psa 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. Psa 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety. Psa:4:8:ἔδωκας εὐφροσύνην εἰς τὴν καρδίαν μου ἀπὸ καιροῦ σίτου καὶ οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου αὐτῶν ἐπληθύνθησαν Psa 4:9 ἐν εἰρήνῃ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ κοιμηθήσομαι καὶ ὑπνώσω ὅτι σύ κύριε κατὰ μόνας ἐπ᾽ ἐλπίδι κατῴκισάς με
Psa 5:1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Psa 5:1 A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O Lord, Consider my groaning. Psa 5:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ὑπὲρ τῆς κληρονομούσης ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ
Psa 5:2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. Psa 5:2 Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, For to You I pray. Psa 5:2 τὰ ῥήματά μου ἐνώτισαι κύριε σύνες τῆς κραυγῆς μου
Psa 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Psa 5:3 In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch. Psa 5:3 πρόσχες τῇ φωνῇ τῆς δεήσεώς μου ὁ βασιλεύς μου καὶ ὁ θεός μου ὅτι πρὸς σὲ προσεύξομαι κύριε
Psa 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. Psa 5:4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You. Psa 5:4 τὸ πρωὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς μου τὸ πρωὶ παραστήσομαί σοι καὶ ἐπόψομαι
Psa 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Psa 5:5 The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity. Psa 5:5 ὅτι οὐχὶ θεὸς θέλων ἀνομίαν σὺ εἶ οὐδὲ παροικήσει σοι πονηρευόμενος
Psa 5:6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. Psa 5:6 You destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit. Psa 5:6 οὐ διαμενοῦσιν παράνομοι κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν σου ἐμίσησας πάντας τοὺς ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν
Psa 5:7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. Psa 5:7 But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You. Psa 5:7 ἀπολεῖς πάντας τοὺς λαλοῦντας τὸ ψεῦδος ἄνδρα αἱμάτων καὶ δόλιον βδελύσσεται κύριος
Psa 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. Psa 5:8 O Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me. Psa 5:8 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν τῷ πλήθει τοῦ ἐλέους σου εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου ἐν φόβῳ σου
Psa 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. Psa 5:9 There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue. Psa 5:9 κύριε ὁδήγησόν με ἐν τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ἕνεκα τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου κατεύθυνον ἐνώπιόν μου τὴν ὁδόν σου
Psa 5:10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. Psa 5:10 Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You. Psa 5:10 ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν ἀλήθεια ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ματαία τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν
Psa 5 11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. Psa 5:11 But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You. Psa 5:11 κρῖνον αὐτούς ὁ θεός ἀποπεσάτωσαν ἀπὸ τῶν διαβουλίων αὐτῶν κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἀσεβειῶν αὐτῶν ἔξωσον αὐτούς ὅτι παρεπίκρανάν σε κύριε
Psa 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psa 5:12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield. Psa:5:12:καὶ εὐφρανθήτωσαν πάντες οἱ ἐλπίζοντες ἐπὶ σέ εἰς αἰῶνα ἀγαλλιάσονται καὶ κατασκηνώσεις ἐν αὐτοῖς καὶ καυχήσονται ἐν σοὶ πάντες οἱ ἀγαπῶντες τὸ ὄνομά σου Psa 5:13 ὅτι σὺ εὐλογήσεις δίκαιον κύριε ὡς ὅπλῳ εὐδοκίας ἐστεφάνωσας ἡμᾶς
Psa 6:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Psa 6:1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your wrath. Psa 6:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ἐν ὕμνοις ὑπὲρ τῆς ὀγδόης ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ
Psa 6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. Psa 6:2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am pining away; Heal me, O Lord, for my bones are dismayed. Psa 6:2 κύριε μὴ τῷ θυμῷ σου ἐλέγξῃς με μηδὲ τῇ ὀργῇ σου παιδεύσῃς με
Psa 6:3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long? Psa 6:3 And my soul is greatly dismayed; But You, O Lord how long? Psa 6:3 ἐλέησόν με κύριε ὅτι ἀσθενής εἰμι ἴασαί με κύριε ὅτι ἐταράχθη τὰ ὀστᾶ μου
Psa 6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake. Psa 6:4 Return, O Lord, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your lovingkindness. Psa 6:4 καὶ ἡ ψυχή μου ἐταράχθη σφόδρα καὶ σύ κύριε ἕως πότε
Psa 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? Psa 6:5 For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol who will give You thanks? Psa 6:5 ἐπίστρεψον κύριε ῥῦσαι τὴν ψυχήν μου σῶσόν με ἕνεκεν τοῦ ἐλέους σου
Psa 6:6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Psa 6:6 I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears. Psa 6:6 ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ ὁ μνημονεύων σου ἐν δὲ τῷ ᾅδῃ τίς ἐξομολογήσεταί σοι
Psa 6:7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies. Psa 6:7 My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries. Psa 6:7 ἐκοπίασα ἐν τῷ στεναγμῷ μου λούσω καθ᾽ ἑκάστην νύκτα τὴν κλίνην μου ἐν δάκρυσίν μου τὴν στρωμνήν μου βρέξω
Psa 6:8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. Psa 6:8 Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping. Psa 6:8 ἐταράχθη ἀπὸ θυμοῦ ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου ἐπαλαιώθην ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου
Psa 6:9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer. Psa 6:9 The Lord has heard my supplication, The Lord receives my prayer. Psa 6:9 ἀπόστητε ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν ὅτι εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ κλαυθμοῦ μου
Psa 6:10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly. Psa 6:10 All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; They shall turn back, they will suddenly be ashamed. Psa:6:10:εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τῆς δεήσεώς μου κύριος τὴν προσευχήν μου προσεδέξατο Psa 6:11 αἰσχυνθείησαν καὶ ταραχθείησαν σφόδρα πάντες οἱ ἐχθροί μου ἀποστραφείησαν καὶ καταισχυνθείησαν σφόδρα διὰ τάχους

Psa 7:3 O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; Psa 7:3 O Lord my God, if I have done this, If there is injustice in my hands, Psa 7:3 μήποτε ἁρπάσῃ ὡς λέων τὴν ψυχήν μου μὴ ὄντος λυτρουμένου μηδὲ σῴζοντος
Psa 7:4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) Psa 7:4 If I have rewarded evil to my friend, Or have plundered him who without cause was my adversary, Psa 7:4 κύριε ὁ θεός μου εἰ ἐποίησα τοῦτο εἰ ἔστιν ἀδικία ἐν χερσίν μου
Psa 7:5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. Psa 7:6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. Psa 7:6 Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; Lift up Yourself against the rage of my adversaries, And arouse Yourself for me; You have appointed judgment. Psa 7:6 καταδιώξαι ἄρα ὁ ἐχθρὸς τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ καταλάβοι καὶ καταπατήσαι εἰς γῆν τὴν ζωήν μου καὶ τὴν δόξαν μου εἰς χοῦν κατασκηνώσαι διάψαλμα
Psa 7:7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high. Psa 7:7 Let the assembly of the peoples encompass You, And over them return on high. Psa 7:8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. Psa 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. Psa 7:10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. Psa 7:10 My shield is with God, Who saves the upright in heart. Psa 7:10 συντελεσθήτω δὴ πονηρία ἁμαρτωλῶν καὶ κατευθυνεῖς δίκαιον ἐτάζων καρδίας καὶ νεφροὺς ὁ θεός
Psa 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. Psa 7:11 God is a righteous judge, And a God who has indignation every day. Psa 7:11 δικαία ἡ βοήθειά μου παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ σῴζοντος τοὺς εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ
Psa 7:12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. Psa 7:12 If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready. Psa 7:12 ὁ θεὸς κριτὴς δίκαιος καὶ ἰσχυρὸς καὶ μακρόθυμος μὴ ὀργὴν ἐπάγων καθ᾽ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν
Psa 7:13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. Psa 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. Psa 8:2 From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength Because of Your adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease. Psa 8:2 κύριε ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν ὡς θαυμαστὸν τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ ὅτι ἐπήρθη ἡ μεγαλοπρέπειά σου ὑπεράνω τῶν οὐρανῶν
