Psa 69:1 Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. Psa 69:1 Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Psa 69:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ὑπὲρ τῶν ἀλλοιωθησομένων τῷ Δαυιδ
Psa 69:2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. Psa 69:2 I have sunk in deep mire, and there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and a flood overflows me. Psa 69:2 σῶσόν με ὁ θεός ὅτι εἰσήλθοσαν ὕδατα ἕως ψυχῆς μου
Psa 69 3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. Psa 69:3 I am weary with my crying; my throat is parched; My eyes fail while I wait for my God. Psa 69 4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty then I restored that which I took not away. Psa 69:4 Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; Those who would destroy me are powerful, being wrongfully my enemies; What I did not steal, I then have to restore. Psa 69:5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee. Psa 69:5 O God, it is You who knows my folly, And my wrongs are not hidden from You. Psa 69:6 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel. Psa 69:6 May those who wait for You not be ashamed through me, O Lord God of hosts; May those who seek You not be dishonored through me, O God of Israel, Psa 69:6 ὁ θεός σὺ ἔγνως τὴν ἀφροσύνην μου καὶ αἱ πλημμέλειαί μου ἀπὸ σοῦ οὐκ ἐκρύβησαν
Psa 69:7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. Psa 69:7 Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; Dishonor has covered my face. Psa 69:8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children. Psa 69:8 I have become estranged from my brothers And an alien to my mother's sons. Psa 69:8 ὅτι ἕνεκα σοῦ ὑπήνεγκα ὀνειδισμόν ἐκάλυψεν ἐντροπὴ τὸ πρόσωπόν μου
Psa 69:9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. Psa 69:10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. Psa 69:10 When I wept in my soul with fasting, It became my reproach. Psa 69:10 ὅτι ὁ ζῆλος τοῦ οἴκου σου κατέφαγέν με καὶ οἱ ὀνειδισμοὶ τῶν ὀνειδιζόντων σε ἐπέπεσαν ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ
Psa 69:11 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them. Psa 69:11 When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them. Psa 69:11 καὶ συνέκαμψα ἐν νηστείᾳ τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ ἐγενήθη εἰς ὀνειδισμὸν ἐμοί
Psa 69:12 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. Psa 69:12 Those who sit in the gate talk about me, And I am the song of the drunkards. Psa 69:12 καὶ ἐθέμην τὸ ἔνδυμά μου σάκκον καὶ ἐγενόμην αὐτοῖς εἰς παραβολήν
Psa 69:13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation. Psa 69:13 But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, at an acceptable time; O God, in the greatness of Your lovingkindness, Answer me with Your saving truth. Psa 69:13 κατ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἠδολέσχουν οἱ καθήμενοι ἐν πύλῃ καὶ εἰς ἐμὲ ἔψαλλον οἱ πίνοντες τὸν οἶνον
Psa 69:14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. Psa 69:14 Deliver me from the mire and do not let me sink; May I be delivered from my foes and from the deep waters. Psa 69:14 ἐγὼ δὲ τῇ προσευχῇ μου πρὸς σέ κύριε καιρὸς εὐδοκίας ὁ θεός ἐν τῷ πλήθει τοῦ ἐλέους σου ἐπάκουσόν μου ἐν ἀληθείᾳ τῆς σωτηρίας σου
Psa 69:15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. Psa 69:15 May the flood of water not overflow me Nor the deep swallow me up, Nor the pit shut its mouth on me. Psa 69:15 σῶσόν με ἀπὸ πηλοῦ ἵνα μὴ ἐμπαγῶ ῥυσθείην ἐκ τῶν μισούντων με καὶ ἐκ τοῦ βάθους τῶν ὑδάτων
Psa 69:16 Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. Psa 69:16 Answer me, O Lord, for Your lovingkindness is good; According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me, Psa 69:16 μή με καταποντισάτω καταιγὶς ὕδατος μηδὲ καταπιέτω με βυθός μηδὲ συσχέτω ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ φρέαρ τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ
Psa 69:17 And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily. Psa 69:17 And do not hide Your face from Your servant, For I am in distress; answer me quickly. Psa 69:17 εἰσάκουσόν μου κύριε ὅτι χρηστὸν τὸ ἔλεός σου κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν οἰκτιρμῶν σου ἐπίβλεψον ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ
Psa 69:18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies. Psa 69:18 Oh draw near to my soul and redeem it; Ransom me because of my enemies! Psa 69:18 μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἀπὸ τοῦ παιδός σου ὅτι θλίβομαι ταχὺ ἐπάκουσόν μου
Psa 69:19 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee. Psa 69:19 You know my reproach and my shame and my dishonor; All my adversaries are before You. Psa 69:19 πρόσχες τῇ ψυχῇ μου καὶ λύτρωσαι αὐτήν ἕνεκα τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου ῥῦσαί με
Psa 69:20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. Psa 69:20 Reproach has broken my heart and I am so sick. And I looked for sympathy, but there was none, And for comforters, but I found none. Psa 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Psa 69:21 They also gave me gall for my food And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Psa 69:21 ὀνειδισμὸν προσεδόκησεν ἡ ψυχή μου καὶ ταλαιπωρίαν καὶ ὑπέμεινα συλλυπούμενον καὶ οὐχ ὑπῆρξεν καὶ παρακαλοῦντας καὶ οὐχ εὗρον
Psa 69:22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. Psa 69:23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. Psa 69:23 May their eyes grow dim so that they cannot see, And make their loins shake continually. Psa 69:23 γενηθήτω ἡ τράπεζα αὐτῶν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν εἰς παγίδα καὶ εἰς ἀνταπόδοσιν καὶ εἰς σκάνδαλον
Psa 69:24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them. Psa 69:24 Pour out Your indignation on them, And may Your burning anger overtake them. Psa 69:24 σκοτισθήτωσαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτῶν τοῦ μὴ βλέπειν καὶ τὸν νῶτον αὐτῶν διὰ παντὸς σύγκαμψον
Psa 69:25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. Psa 69:25 May their camp be desolate; May none dwell in their tents. Psa 69:25 ἔκχεον ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς τὴν ὀργήν σου καὶ ὁ θυμὸς τῆς ὀργῆς σου καταλάβοι αὐτούς
Psa 69:26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. Psa 69:26 For they have persecuted him whom You Yourself have smitten, And they tell of the pain of those whom You have wounded. Psa 69:26 γενηθήτω ἡ ἔπαυλις αὐτῶν ἠρημωμένη καὶ ἐν τοῖς σκηνώμασιν αὐτῶν μὴ ἔστω ὁ κατοικῶν
Psa 69:27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. Psa 69:27 Add iniquity to their iniquity, And may they not come into Your righteousness. Psa 69:27 ὅτι ὃν σὺ ἐπάταξας αὐτοὶ κατεδίωξαν καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ἄλγος τῶν τραυματιῶν σου προσέθηκαν
Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. Psa 69:28 May they be blotted out of the book of life And may they not be recorded with the righteous. Psa 69:28 πρόσθες ἀνομίαν ἐπὶ τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτῶν καὶ μὴ εἰσελθέτωσαν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ σου
Psa 69:29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. Psa 69:29 But I am afflicted and in pain; May Your salvation, O God, set me securely on high. Psa 69:29 ἐξαλειφθήτωσαν ἐκ βίβλου ζώντων καὶ μετὰ δικαίων μὴ γραφήτωσαν

Psa 69:31 This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs. Psa 69:31 And it will please the Lord better than an ox Or a young bull with horns and hoofs. Psa 69:31 αἰνέσω τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ μετ᾽ ᾠδῆς μεγαλυνῶ αὐτὸν ἐν αἰνέσει
Psa 69:32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. Psa 69:32 The humble have seen it and are glad; You who seek God, let your heart revive. Psa 69:32 καὶ ἀρέσει τῷ θεῷ ὑπὲρ μόσχον νέον κέρατα ἐκφέροντα καὶ ὁπλάς
Psa 69:33 For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners. Psa 69:33 For the Lord hears the needy And does not despise His who are prisoners. Psa 69:33 ἰδέτωσαν πτωχοὶ καὶ εὐφρανθήτωσαν ἐκζητήσατε τὸν θεόν καὶ ζήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ὑμῶν

Psa 69:36 The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein. Psa 70:1 MAKE HASTE, O GOD, TO DELIVER ME; MAKE HASTE TO HELP ME, O LORD. Psa 70:1 O God, hasten to deliver me; O Lord, hasten to my help! Psa 70:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος τῷ Δαυιδ εἰς ἀνάμνησιν
Psa 70:2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. Psa 70:2 Let those be ashamed and humiliated Who seek my life; Let those be turned back and dishonored Who delight in my hurt. Psa 70:2 εἰς τὸ σῶσαί με κύριον ὁ θεός εἰς τὴν βοήθειάν μου πρόσχες

Psa 70:4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. Psa 71:3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress. Psa 71:4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. Psa 71:5 For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. Psa 71:5 For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my confidence from my youth. Psa 71:5 ὅτι σὺ εἶ ἡ ὑπομονή μου κύριε κύριος ἡ ἐλπίς μου ἐκ νεότητός μου
Psa 71 6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels my praise shall be continually of thee. Psa 71:6 By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother's womb; My praise is continually of You. Psa 71:6 ἐπὶ σὲ ἐπεστηρίχθην ἀπὸ γαστρός ἐκ κοιλίας μητρός μου σύ μου εἶ σκεπαστής ἐν σοὶ ἡ ὕμνησίς μου διὰ παντός

Psa 71:9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. Psa 71:9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails. Psa 71:9 μὴ ἀπορρίψῃς με εἰς καιρὸν γήρους ἐν τῷ ἐκλείπειν τὴν ἰσχύν μου μὴ ἐγκαταλίπῃς με
Psa 71:10 For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together, Psa 71:10 For my enemies have spoken against me; And those who watch for my life have consulted together, Psa 71:10 ὅτι εἶπαν οἱ ἐχθροί μου ἐμοὶ καὶ οἱ φυλάσσοντες τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐβουλεύσαντο ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ
Psa 71:11 Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him. Psa 71:11 Saying, "God has forsaken him; Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to deliver." Psa 71:11 λέγοντες ὁ θεὸς ἐγκατέλιπεν αὐτόν καταδιώξατε καὶ καταλάβετε αὐτόν ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ῥυόμενος
Psa 71:12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help. Psa 71:12 O God, do not be far from me; O my God, hasten to my help! Psa 71:12 ὁ θεός μὴ μακρύνῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ ὁ θεός μου εἰς τὴν βοήθειάν μου πρόσχες
Psa 71:13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt. Psa 71:13 Let those who are adversaries of my soul be ashamed and consumed; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek to injure me. Psa 71:13 αἰσχυνθήτωσαν καὶ ἐκλιπέτωσαν οἱ ἐνδιαβάλλοντες τὴν ψυχήν μου περιβαλέσθωσαν αἰσχύνην καὶ ἐντροπὴν οἱ ζητοῦντες τὰ κακά μοι

Psa 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. Psa 71:16 I will come with the mighty deeds of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone. Psa 71:16 εἰσελεύσομαι ἐν δυναστείᾳ κυρίου κύριε μνησθήσομαι τῆς δικαιοσύνης σου μόνου
Psa 71:17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. Psa 71:17 O God, You have taught me from my youth, And I still declare Your wondrous deeds. Psa 71:17 ἐδίδαξάς με ὁ θεός ἐκ νεότητός μου καὶ μέχρι νῦν ἀπαγγελῶ τὰ θαυμάσιά σου
Psa 71:18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come. Psa 72:15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised. Psa 72:16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
