Day - 305 - John 1-2
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ λόγος, καὶ ὁ λόγος ἦν πρὸς τὸν θεόν, καὶ θεὸς ἦν ὁ λόγος.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:2 οὖτος ἦν ἐν ἀρχῇ πρὸς τὸν θεόν.
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. John 1:3 πάντα δι᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο, καὶ χωρὶς αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο οὐδὲ ἕν. ὃ γέγονεν

John 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. John 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. John 1:8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. John 1:8 οὐκ ἦν ἐκεῖνος τὸ φῶς, ἀλλ᾽ ἵνα μαρτυρήσῃ περὶ τοῦ φωτός.
John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John 1:9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. John 1:9 ἦν τὸ φῶς τὸ ἀληθινόν, ὃ φωτίζει πάντα ἄνθρωπον, ἐρχόμενον εἰς τὸν κόσμον.
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. John 1:10 ἐν τῶ κόσμῳ ἦν, καὶ ὁ κόσμος δι᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο, καὶ ὁ κόσμος αὐτὸν οὐκ ἔγνω.
John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. John 1:11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. John 1:11 εἰς τὰ ἴδια ἦλθεν, καὶ οἱ ἴδιοι αὐτὸν οὐ παρέλαβον.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, John 1:12 ὅσοι δὲ ἔλαβον αὐτόν, ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς ἐξουσίαν τέκνα θεοῦ γενέσθαι, τοῖς πιστεύουσιν εἰς τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ,
John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. John 1:15 John *testified about Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.'" John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. John 1:16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. John 1:16 ὅτι ἐκ τοῦ πληρώματος αὐτοῦ ἡμεῖς πάντες ἐλάβομεν, καὶ χάριν ἀντὶ χάριτος·
John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. John 1:17 ὅτι ὁ νόμος διὰ μωϊσέως ἐδόθη, ἡ χάρις καὶ ἡ ἀλήθεια διὰ ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ ἐγένετο.
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him. John 1:18 θεὸν οὐδεὶς ἑώρακεν πώποτε· μονογενὴς θεὸς ὁ ὢν εἰς τὸν κόλπον τοῦ πατρὸς ἐκεῖνος ἐξηγήσατο.
John 1:19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? John 1:19 This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?" John 1:19 καὶ αὕτη ἐστὶν ἡ μαρτυρία τοῦ ἰωάννου, ὅτε ἀπέστειλαν [πρὸς αὐτὸν] οἱ ἰουδαῖοι ἐξ ἱεροσολύμων ἱερεῖς καὶ λευίτας ἵνα ἐρωτήσωσιν αὐτόν, σὺ τίς εἶ;
John 1:20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. John 1:20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ." John 1:20 καὶ ὡμολόγησεν καὶ οὐκ ἠρνήσατο, καὶ ὡμολόγησεν ὅτι ἐγὼ οὐκ εἰμὶ ὁ χριστός.
John 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. John 1:21 They asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And he *said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No." John 1:21 καὶ ἠρώτησαν αὐτόν, τί οὗν; σύ ἠλίας εἶ; καὶ λέγει, οὐκ εἰμί. ὁ προφήτης εἶ σύ; καὶ ἀπεκρίθη, οὔ.
John 1:22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? John 1:22 Then they said to him, "Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?" John 1:22 εἶπαν οὗν αὐτῶ, τίς εἶ; ἵνα ἀπόκρισιν δῶμεν τοῖς πέμψασιν ἡμᾶς· τί λέγεις περὶ σεαυτοῦ;
John 1:23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. John 1:23 He said, "I am A VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE STRAIGHT THE WAY OF THE LORD,' as Isaiah the prophet said." John 1:23 ἔφη, ἐγὼ φωνὴ βοῶντος ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, εὐθύνατε τὴν ὁδὸν κυρίου, καθὼς εἶπεν ἠσαΐας ὁ προφήτης.
John 1:24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. John 1:24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. John 1:24 καὶ ἀπεσταλμένοι ἦσαν ἐκ τῶν φαρισαίων.
John 1:25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? John 1:25 They asked him, and said to him, "Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" John 1:25 καὶ ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῶ, τί οὗν βαπτίζεις εἰ σὺ οὐκ εἶ ὁ χριστὸς οὐδὲ ἠλίας οὐδὲ ὁ προφήτης;
John 1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; John 1:26 John answered them saying, "I baptize in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know. John 1:27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. John 1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. John 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. John 1:34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God." John 1:34 κἀγὼ ἑώρακα, καὶ μεμαρτύρηκα ὅτι οὖτός ἐστιν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ θεοῦ.

John 1:43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. John 1:43 The next day He purposed to go into Galilee, and He *found Philip. John 1:46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. John 1:46 Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip *said to him, "Come and see." John 1:46 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῶ ναθαναήλ, ἐκ ναζαρὲτ δύναταί τι ἀγαθὸν εἶναι; λέγει αὐτῶ [ὁ] φίλιππος, ἔρχου καὶ ἴδε.
John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! John 1:48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. John 1:48 Nathanael *said to Him, "How do You know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you." John 1:48 λέγει αὐτῶ ναθαναήλ, πόθεν με γινώσκεις; ἀπεκρίθη ἰησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῶ, πρὸ τοῦ σε φίλιππον φωνῆσαι ὄντα ὑπὸ τὴν συκῆν εἶδόν σε.

John 1:50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. John 1:50 Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these." John 1:50 ἀπεκρίθη ἰησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῶ, ὅτι εἶπόν σοι ὅτι εἶδόν σε ὑποκάτω τῆς συκῆς πιστεύεις; μείζω τούτων ὄψῃ.
John 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. John 1:51 And He *said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man." John 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. John 2:2 and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. John 2:2 ἐκλήθη δὲ καὶ ὁ ἰησοῦς καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν γάμον.
John 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. John 2:3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus *said to Him, "They have no wine." John 2:3 καὶ ὑστερήσαντος οἴνου λέγει ἡ μήτηρ τοῦ ἰησοῦ πρὸς αὐτόν, οἶνον οὐκ ἔχουσιν.
John 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. John 2:4 And Jesus *said to her, "Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come." John 2:4 [καὶ] λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ ἰησοῦς, τί ἐμοὶ καὶ σοί, γύναι; οὔπω ἥκει ἡ ὥρα μου.

John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. John 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? John 2:18 ἀπεκρίθησαν οὗν οἱ ἰουδαῖοι καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῶ, τί σημεῖον δεικνύεις ἡμῖν, ὅτι ταῦτα ποιεῖς;
