Psalm 7
Psa 7 1 O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me Psa 7:1 O Lord my God, in You I have taken refuge; Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me, Psa 7:1 ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ ὃν ᾖσεν τῷ κυρίῳ ὑπὲρ τῶν λόγων Χουσι υἱοῦ Ιεμενι
Psa 7:2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. Psa 7:2 Or he will tear my soul like a lion, Dragging me away, while there is none to deliver. Psa 7:2 κύριε ὁ θεός μου ἐπὶ σοὶ ἤλπισα σῶσόν με ἐκ πάντων τῶν διωκόντων με καὶ ῥῦσαί με
Psa 7:3 O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; Psa 7:3 O Lord my God, if I have done this, If there is injustice in my hands, Psa 7:3 μήποτε ἁρπάσῃ ὡς λέων τὴν ψυχήν μου μὴ ὄντος λυτρουμένου μηδὲ σῴζοντος
Psa 7:4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) Psa 7:4 If I have rewarded evil to my friend, Or have plundered him who without cause was my adversary, Psa 7:4 κύριε ὁ θεός μου εἰ ἐποίησα τοῦτο εἰ ἔστιν ἀδικία ἐν χερσίν μου
Psa 7:5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. Psa 7:5 Let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it; And let him trample my life down to the ground And lay my glory in the dust. Selah. Psa 7:5 εἰ ἀνταπέδωκα τοῖς ἀνταποδιδοῦσίν μοι κακά ἀποπέσοιν ἄρα ἀπὸ τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου κενός
Psa 7:6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. Psa 7:6 Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; Lift up Yourself against the rage of my adversaries, And arouse Yourself for me; You have appointed judgment. Psa 7:6 καταδιώξαι ἄρα ὁ ἐχθρὸς τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ καταλάβοι καὶ καταπατήσαι εἰς γῆν τὴν ζωήν μου καὶ τὴν δόξαν μου εἰς χοῦν κατασκηνώσαι διάψαλμα
Psa 7:7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high. Psa 7:7 Let the assembly of the peoples encompass You, And over them return on high. Psa 7:7 ἀνάστηθι κύριε ἐν ὀργῇ σου ὑψώθητι ἐν τοῖς πέρασι τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου ἐξεγέρθητι κύριε ὁ θεός μου ἐν προστάγματι ᾧ ἐνετείλω
Psa 7:8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. Psa 7:8 The Lord judges the peoples; Vindicate me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me. Psa 7:8 καὶ συναγωγὴ λαῶν κυκλώσει σε καὶ ὑπὲρ ταύτης εἰς ὕψος ἐπίστρεψον
Psa 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. Psa 7:9 O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds. Psa 7:9 κύριος κρινεῖ λαούς κρῖνόν με κύριε κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου καὶ κατὰ τὴν ἀκακίαν μου ἐπ᾽ ἐμοί
Psa 7:10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. Psa 7:10 My shield is with God, Who saves the upright in heart. Psa 7:10 συντελεσθήτω δὴ πονηρία ἁμαρτωλῶν καὶ κατευθυνεῖς δίκαιον ἐτάζων καρδίας καὶ νεφροὺς ὁ θεός
Psa 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. Psa 7:11 God is a righteous judge, And a God who has indignation every day. Psa 7:11 δικαία ἡ βοήθειά μου παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ σῴζοντος τοὺς εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ
Psa 7:12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. Psa 7:12 If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready. Psa 7:12 ὁ θεὸς κριτὴς δίκαιος καὶ ἰσχυρὸς καὶ μακρόθυμος μὴ ὀργὴν ἐπάγων καθ᾽ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν
Psa 7:13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. Psa 7:13 He has also prepared for Himself deadly weapons; He makes His arrows fiery shafts. Psa 7:13 ἐὰν μὴ ἐπιστραφῆτε τὴν ῥομφαίαν αὐτοῦ στιλβώσει τὸ τόξον αὐτοῦ ἐνέτεινεν καὶ ἡτοίμασεν αὐτὸ
Psa 7:14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. Psa 7:14 Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood. Psa 7:14 καὶ ἐν αὐτῷ ἡτοίμασεν σκεύη θανάτου τὰ βέλη αὐτοῦ τοῖς καιομένοις ἐξειργάσατο
Psa 7:15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. Psa 7:15 He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made. Psa 7:15 ἰδοὺ ὠδίνησεν ἀδικίαν συνέλαβεν πόνον καὶ ἔτεκεν ἀνομίαν
Psa 7:16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. Psa 7:16 His mischief will return upon his own head, And his violence will descend upon his own pate. Psa 7:16 λάκκον ὤρυξεν καὶ ἀνέσκαψεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐμπεσεῖται εἰς βόθρον ὃν εἰργάσατο
Psa 7:17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high. Psa 7:17 I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. Psa:7:17:ἐπιστρέψει ὁ πόνος αὐτοῦ εἰς κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ κορυφὴν αὐτοῦ ἡ ἀδικία αὐτοῦ καταβήσεται Psa 7:18 ἐξομολογήσομαι κυρίῳ κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ καὶ ψαλῶ τῷ ὀνόματι κυρίου τοῦ ὑψίστου
