Psalm 90
Psa 90:1 Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Psa 90:1 Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Psa 90:1 προσευχὴ τοῦ Μωυσῆ ἀνθρώπου τοῦ θεοῦ κύριε καταφυγὴ ἐγενήθης ἡμῖν ἐν γενεᾷ καὶ γενεᾷ
Psa 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Psa 90:2 Before the mountains were born Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psa 90:2 πρὸ τοῦ ὄρη γενηθῆναι καὶ πλασθῆναι τὴν γῆν καὶ τὴν οἰκουμένην καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος σὺ εἶ
Psa 90:3 Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. Psa 90:3 You turn man back into dust And say, "Return, O children of men. " Psa 90:3 μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς ἄνθρωπον εἰς ταπείνωσιν καὶ εἶπας ἐπιστρέψατε υἱοὶ ἀνθρώπων
Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it passes by, Or as a watch in the night. Psa 90:4 ὅτι χίλια ἔτη ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς σου ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ ἐχθές ἥτις διῆλθεν καὶ φυλακὴ ἐν νυκτί
Psa 90:5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. Psa 90:5 You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew. Psa 90:5 τὰ ἐξουδενώματα αὐτῶν ἔτη ἔσονται τὸ πρωὶ ὡσεὶ χλόη παρέλθοι
Psa 90:6 In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth. Psa 90:6 In the morning it flourishes and sprouts anew; Toward evening it fades and withers away. Psa 90:6 τὸ πρωὶ ἀνθήσαι καὶ παρέλθοι τὸ ἑσπέρας ἀποπέσοι σκληρυνθείη καὶ ξηρανθείη
Psa 90:7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. Psa 90:7 For we have been consumed by Your anger And by Your wrath we have been dismayed. Psa 90:7 ὅτι ἐξελίπομεν ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ σου καὶ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ σου ἐταράχθημεν
Psa 90:8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. Psa 90:8 You have placed our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your presence. Psa 90:8 ἔθου τὰς ἀνομίας ἡμῶν ἐνώπιόν σου ὁ αἰὼν ἡμῶν εἰς φωτισμὸν τοῦ προσώπου σου
Psa 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. Psa 90:9 For all our days have declined in Your fury; We have finished our years like a sigh. Psa 90:9 ὅτι πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι ἡμῶν ἐξέλιπον καὶ ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ σου ἐξελίπομεν τὰ ἔτη ἡμῶν ὡς ἀράχνην ἐμελέτων
Psa 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Psa 90:10 As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we fly away. Psa 90:10 αἱ ἡμέραι τῶν ἐτῶν ἡμῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη ἐὰν δὲ ἐν δυναστείαις ὀγδοήκοντα ἔτη καὶ τὸ πλεῖον αὐτῶν κόπος καὶ πόνος ὅτι ἐπῆλθεν πραΰτης ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς καὶ παιδευθησόμεθα
Psa 90:11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. Psa 90:11 Who understands the power of Your anger And Your fury, according to the fear that is due You? Psa 90:11 τίς γινώσκει τὸ κράτος τῆς ὀργῆς σου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ φόβου σου τὸν θυμόν σου
Psa 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psa 90:12 So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom. Psa 90:12 ἐξαριθμήσασθαι τὴν δεξιάν σου οὕτως γνώρισον καὶ τοὺς πεπεδημένους τῇ καρδίᾳ ἐν σοφίᾳ
Psa 90:13 Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. Psa 90:13 Do return, O Lord; how long will it be? And be sorry for Your servants. Psa 90:13 ἐπίστρεψον κύριε ἕως πότε καὶ παρακλήθητι ἐπὶ τοῖς δούλοις σου
Psa 90:14 O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Psa 90:14 O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Psa 90:14 ἐνεπλήσθημεν τὸ πρωὶ τοῦ ἐλέους σου καὶ ἠγαλλιασάμεθα καὶ εὐφράνθημεν ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ἡμέραις ἡμῶν
Psa 90:15 Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. Psa 90:15 Make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us, And the years we have seen evil. Psa 90:15 εὐφράνθημεν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἡμερῶν ἐταπείνωσας ἡμᾶς ἐτῶν ὧν εἴδομεν κακά
Psa 90:16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. Psa 90:16 Let Your work appear to Your servants And Your majesty to their children. Psa 90:16 καὶ ἰδὲ ἐπὶ τοὺς δούλους σου καὶ τὰ ἔργα σου καὶ ὁδήγησον τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν
Psa 90:17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Psa 90:17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, confirm the work of our hands. Psa 90:17 καὶ ἔστω ἡ λαμπρότης κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς καὶ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν ἡμῶν κατεύθυνον ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς
