Proverbs 31
Pro 31:1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. Pro 31:1 The words of King Lemuel, the oracle which his mother taught him: Pro 31:1 οἱ ἐμοὶ λόγοι εἴρηνται ὑπὸ θεοῦ βασιλέως χρηματισμός ὃν ἐπαίδευσεν ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ
Pro 31:2 What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows? Pro 31:2 What, O my son? And what, O son of my womb? And what, O son of my vows? Pro 31:2 τί τέκνον τηρήσεις τί ῥήσεις θεοῦ πρωτογενές σοὶ λέγω υἱέ τί τέκνον ἐμῆς κοιλίας τί τέκνον ἐμῶν εὐχῶν
Pro 31:3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. Pro 31:3 Do not give your strength to women, Or your ways to that which destroys kings. Pro 31:3 μὴ δῷς γυναιξὶ σὸν πλοῦτον καὶ τὸν σὸν νοῦν καὶ βίον εἰς ὑστεροβουλίαν
Pro 31:4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: Pro 31:4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, It is not for kings to drink wine, Or for rulers to desire strong drink, Pro 31:4 μετὰ βουλῆς πάντα ποίει μετὰ βουλῆς οἰνοπότει οἱ δυνάσται θυμώδεις εἰσίν οἶνον δὲ μὴ πινέτωσαν
Pro 31:5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. Pro 31:5 For they will drink and forget what is decreed, And pervert the rights of all the afflicted. Pro 31:5 ἵνα μὴ πιόντες ἐπιλάθωνται τῆς σοφίας καὶ ὀρθὰ κρῖναι οὐ μὴ δύνωνται τοὺς ἀσθενεῖς
Pro 31:6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Pro 31:6 Give strong drink to him who is perishing, And wine to him whose life is bitter. Pro 31:6 δίδοτε μέθην τοῖς ἐν λύπαις καὶ οἶνον πίνειν τοῖς ἐν ὀδύναις

Pro 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Pro 31:10 An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels. Pro 31:10 γυναῖκα ἀνδρείαν τίς εὑρήσει τιμιωτέρα δέ ἐστιν λίθων πολυτελῶν ἡ τοιαύτη

Pro 31:18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. Pro 31:18 She senses that her gain is good; Her lamp does not go out at night. Pro 31:18 ἐγεύσατο ὅτι καλόν ἐστιν τὸ ἐργάζεσθαι καὶ οὐκ ἀποσβέννυται ὅλην τὴν νύκτα ὁ λύχνος αὐτῆς
Pro 31:19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. Pro 31:19 She stretches out her hands to the distaff, And her hands grasp the spindle. Pro 31:19 τοὺς πήχεις αὐτῆς ἐκτείνει ἐπὶ τὰ συμφέροντα τὰς δὲ χεῖρας αὐτῆς ἐρείδει εἰς ἄτρακτον

Pro 31:24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Pro 31:24 She makes linen garments and sells them, And supplies belts to the tradesmen. Pro 31:24 σινδόνας ἐποίησεν καὶ ἀπέδοτο περιζώματα δὲ τοῖς Χαναναίοις
Pro 31:25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. Pro 31:25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, And she smiles at the future. Pro 31:25 στόμα αὐτῆς διήνοιξεν προσεχόντως καὶ ἐννόμως καὶ τάξιν ἐστείλατο τῇ γλώσσῃ αὐτῆς
Pro 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. Pro 31:26 She opens her mouth in wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Pro 31:26 ἰσχὺν καὶ εὐπρέπειαν ἐνεδύσατο καὶ εὐφράνθη ἐν ἡμέραις ἐσχάταις

Pro 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
