SS 6:1 Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee. (kjv) Sos 6:1 "Where has your beloved gone, O most beautiful among women? Where has your beloved turned, That we may seek him with you?" Sol 6:1 ποῦ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ ἀδελφιδός σου ἡ καλὴ ἐν γυναιξίν ποῦ ἀπέβλεψεν ὁ ἀδελφιδός σου καὶ ζητήσομεν αὐτὸν μετὰ σοῦ
SS 6:2 My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. (kjv) Sos 6:2 "My beloved has gone down to his garden, To the beds of balsam, To pasture his flock in the gardens And gather lilies. Sol 6:2 ἀδελφιδός μου κατέβη εἰς κῆπον αὐτοῦ εἰς φιάλας τοῦ ἀρώματος ποιμαίνειν ἐν κήποις καὶ συλλέγειν κρίνα
SS 6:3 I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies. (kjv) Sos 6:3 "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine, He who pastures his flock among the lilies." Sol 6:3 ἐγὼ τῷ ἀδελφιδῷ μου καὶ ἀδελφιδός μου ἐμοὶ ὁ ποιμαίνων ἐν τοῖς κρίνοις
SS 6:4 Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. (kjv) Sos 6:4 "You are as beautiful as Tirzah, my darling, As lovely as Jerusalem, As awesome as an army with banners. Sol 6:4 καλὴ εἶ ἡ πλησίον μου ὡς εὐδοκία ὡραία ὡς Ιερουσαλημ θάμβος ὡς τεταγμέναι
SS 6:5 Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead. (kjv) Sos 6:5 "Turn your eyes away from me, For they have confused me; Your hair is like a flock of goats That have descended from Gilead. Sol 6:5 ἀπόστρεψον ὀφθαλμούς σου ἀπεναντίον μου ὅτι αὐτοὶ ἀνεπτέρωσάν με τρίχωμά σου ὡς ἀγέλαι τῶν αἰγῶν αἳ ἀνεφάνησαν ἀπὸ τοῦ Γαλααδ
SS 6:6 Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them. (kjv) Sos 6:6 "Your teeth are like a flock of ewes Which have come up from their washing, All of which bear twins, And not one among them has lost her young. Sol 6:6 ὀδόντες σου ὡς ἀγέλαι τῶν κεκαρμένων αἳ ἀνέβησαν ἀπὸ τοῦ λουτροῦ αἱ πᾶσαι διδυμεύουσαι καὶ ἀτεκνοῦσα οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν αὐταῖς
SS 6:7 As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks. (kjv) Sos 6:7 "Your temples are like a slice of a pomegranate Behind your veil. Sol 6:7 ὡς σπαρτίον τὸ κόκκινον χείλη σου καὶ ἡ λαλιά σου ὡραία ὡς λέπυρον τῆς ῥόας μῆλόν σου ἐκτὸς τῆς σιωπήσεώς σου
SS 6:8 There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number. (kjv) Sos 6:8 "There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, And maidens without number; Sol 6:8 ἑξήκοντά εἰσιν βασίλισσαι καὶ ὀγδοήκοντα παλλακαί καὶ νεάνιδες ὧν οὐκ ἔστιν ἀριθμός
SS 6:9 My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. (kjv) Sos 6:9 But my dove, my perfect one, is unique: She is her mother's only daughter; She is the pure child of the one who bore her. The maidens saw her and called her blessed, The queens and the concubines also, and they praised her, saying, Sol 6:9 μία ἐστὶν περιστερά μου τελεία μου μία ἐστὶν τῇ μητρὶ αὐτῆς ἐκλεκτή ἐστιν τῇ τεκούσῃ αὐτῆς εἴδοσαν αὐτὴν θυγατέρες καὶ μακαριοῦσιν αὐτήν βασίλισσαι καὶ παλλακαὶ καὶ αἰνέσουσιν αὐτήν
SS 6:10 Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? (kjv) Sos 6:10 'Who is this that grows like the dawn, As beautiful as the full moon, As pure as the sun, As awesome as an army with banners?' Sol 6:10 τίς αὕτη ἡ ἐκκύπτουσα ὡσεὶ ὄρθρος καλὴ ὡς σελήνη ἐκλεκτὴ ὡς ὁ ἥλιος θάμβος ὡς τεταγμέναι
SS 6:11 I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished and the pomegranates budded. (kjv) Sos 6:11 "I went down to the orchard of nut trees To see the blossoms of the valley, To see whether the vine had budded Or the pomegranates had bloomed. Sol 6:11 εἰς κῆπον καρύας κατέβην ἰδεῖν ἐν γενήμασιν τοῦ χειμάρρου ἰδεῖν εἰ ἤνθησεν ἡ ἄμπελος ἐξήνθησαν αἱ ῥόαι ἐκεῖ δώσω τοὺς μαστούς μου σοί
SS 6:12 Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib. (kjv) Sos 6:12 "Before I was aware, my soul set me Over the chariots of my noble people." Sol 6:12 οὐκ ἔγνω ἡ ψυχή μου ἔθετό με ἅρματα Αμιναδαβ
SS 6:13 Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies.(kjv) Sos 6:13 "Come back, come back, O Shulammite; Come back, come back, that we may gaze at you!" "Why should you gaze at the Shulammite, As at the dance of the two companies? Sol 7:1 ἐπίστρεφε ἐπίστρεφε ἡ Σουλαμῖτις ἐπίστρεφε ἐπίστρεφε καὶ ὀψόμεθα ἐν σοί τί ὄψεσθε ἐν τῇ Σουλαμίτιδι ἡ ἐρχομένη ὡς χοροὶ τῶν παρεμβολῶν
