2 Timothy 3
2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 Ti 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 2 Ti 3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, Ti2 3:2 ἔσονται γὰρ οἱ ἄνθρωποι φίλαυτοι, φιλάργυροι, ἀλαζόνες, ὑπερήφανοι, βλάσφημοι, γονεῦσιν ἀπειθεῖς, ἀχάριστοι, ἀνόσιοι,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 2 Ti 3:3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, Ti2 3:3 ἄστοργοι, ἄσπονδοι, διάβολοι, ἀκρατεῖς, ἀνήμεροι, ἀφιλάγαθοι,
2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 2 Ti 3:4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, Ti2 3:4 προδόται, προπετεῖς, τετυφωμένοι, φιλήδονοι μᾶλλον ἢ φιλόθεοι,
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Ti 3:5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 2 Ti 3:6 For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, Ti2 3:6 ἐκ τούτων γάρ εἰσιν οἱ ἐνδύνοντες εἰς τὰς οἰκίας καὶ αἰχμαλωτίζοντες γυναικάρια σεσωρευμένα ἁμαρτίαις, ἀγόμενα ἐπιθυμίαις ποικίλαις,
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Ti 3:7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2Ti 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 2 Ti 3:8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.
2Ti 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was. 2 Ti 3:9 But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes's and Jambres's folly was also.
2Ti 3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 2 Ti 3:10 Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, Ti2 3:10 σὺ δὲ παρηκολούθησάς μου τῇ διδασκαλίᾳ, τῇ ἀγωγῇ, τῇ προθέσει, τῇ πίστει, τῇ μακροθυμίᾳ, τῇ ἀγάπῃ, τῇ ὑπομονῇ,
2Ti 3:11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 2 Ti 3:11 persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me!
2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 2 Ti 3:12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Ti 3:13 But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
2Ti 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 2 Ti 3:14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, Ti2 3:14 σὺ δὲ μένε ἐν οἷς ἔμαθες καὶ ἐπιστώθης, εἰδὼς παρὰ τίνων ἔμαθες,
2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Ti 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Ti 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; Ti2 3:16 πᾶσα γραφὴ θεόπνευστος καὶ ὠφέλιμος πρὸς διδασκαλίαν, πρὸς ἐλεγμόν, πρὸς ἐπανόρθωσιν, πρὸς παιδείαν τὴν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ,
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Ti 3:17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
