2Ch 8:2 That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there. 2 Chr 8:2 that he built the cities which Huram had given to him, and settled the sons of Israel there. 2Ch 8:6 And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion. 2 Chr 8:6 and Baalath and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots and cities for his horsemen, and all that it pleased Solomon to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land under his rule. 2Ch 8:8 But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day. 2 Chr 8:8 namely, from their descendants who were left after them in the land whom the sons of Israel had not destroyed, them Solomon raised as forced laborers to this day. 2Ch 8:9 But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen. 2 Chr 8:9 But Solomon did not make slaves for his work from the sons of Israel; they were men of war, his chief captains and commanders of his chariots and his horsemen. 2Ch 8:10 And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people. 2 Chr 8:10 These were the chief officers of King Solomon, two hundred and fifty who ruled over the people. 2Ch 8:11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come. 2 Chr 8:11 Then Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the city of David to the house which he had built for her, for he said, "My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy where the ark of the Lord has entered." 2Ch 8:13 Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles. 2 Chr 8:13 and did so according to the daily rule, offering them up according to the commandment of Moses, for the sabbaths, the new moons and the three annual feasts"the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Booths. 2Ch 8:14 And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded. 2 Chr 8:14 Now according to the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their duties of praise and ministering before the priests according to the daily rule, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for David the man of God had so commanded. 2Ch 8:15 And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures. 2 Chr 8:15 And they did not depart from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites in any manner or concerning the storehouses. 2Ch 8:16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected. 2 Chr 8:16 Thus all the work of Solomon was carried out from the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord, and until it was finished. 2Ch 8:17 Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom. 2 Chr 8:17 Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the seashore in the land of Edom. Ch2|8|17|τότε ᾤχετο Σαλωμων εἰς Γασιωνγαβερ καὶ εἰς τὴν Αιλαθ τὴν παραθαλασσίαν ἐν γῇ Ιδουμαίᾳ
2Ch 8:18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon. 2 Chr 8:18 And Huram by his servants sent him ships and servants who knew the sea; and they went with Solomon's servants to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and fifty talents of gold and brought them to King Solomon. 2Ch 9:1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart. 2 Chr 9:1 Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with difficult questions. She had a very large retinue, with camels carrying spices and a large amount of gold and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was on her heart. Ch2|9|1|καὶ βασίλισσα Σαβα ἤκουσεν τὸ ὄνομα Σαλωμων καὶ ἦλθεν τοῦ πειράσαι Σαλωμων ἐν αἰνίγμασιν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ ἐν δυνάμει βαρείᾳ σφόδρα καὶ κάμηλοι αἴρουσαι ἀρώματα καὶ χρυσίον εἰς πλῆθος καὶ λίθον τίμιον καὶ ἦλθεν πρὸς Σαλωμων καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτὸν πάντα ὅσα ἐν τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτῆς
2Ch 9:2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not. 2 Chr 9:2 Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was hidden from Solomon which he did not explain to her. 2Ch 9:5 And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom: 2 Chr 9:5 Then she said to the king, "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom. Ch2|9|5|καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα ἀληθινὸς ὁ λόγος ὃν ἤκουσα ἐν τῇ γῇ μου περὶ τῶν λόγων σου καὶ περὶ τῆς σοφίας σου
2Ch 9:6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard. 2 Chr 9:6 Nevertheless I did not believe their reports until I came and my eyes had seen it. And behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You surpass the report that I heard. 2Ch 9:7 Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom. 2 Chr 9:7 How blessed are your men, how blessed are these your servants who stand before you continually and hear your wisdom. 2Ch 9:8 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice. 2 Chr 9:8 Blessed be the Lord your God who delighted in you, setting you on His throne as king for the Lord your God; because your God loved Israel establishing them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness." 2Ch 9:9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon. 2 Chr 9:9 Then she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold and a very great amount of spices and precious stones; there had never been spice like that which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon. 2Ch 9:11 And the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah. 2 Chr 9:11 From the algum trees the king made steps for the house of the Lord and for the king's palace, and lyres and harps for the singers; and none like that was seen before in the land of Judah. 2Ch 9:12 And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants. 2 Chr 9:12 King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire which she requested besides a return for what she had brought to the king. Then she turned and went to her own land with her servants. 2Ch 9:14 Beside that which chapmen and merchants brought. 2Ch 9:15 And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of beaten gold went to one target. 2 Chr 9:15 King Solomon made 200 large shields of beaten gold, using 600 shekels of beaten gold on each large shield. 2Ch 9:16 And three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon. 2 Chr 9:16 He made 300 shields of beaten gold, using three hundred shekels of gold on each shield, and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon. 2Ch 9:19 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. 2Ch 10:16 And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents. 2 Chr 10:16 When all Israel saw that the king did not listen to them the people answered the king, saying," What portion do we have in David? So they listened to the words of the Lord and returned from going against Jeroboam.
