Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 10:1 ============ Lev 10:1 Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them. (nasb) Lev 10:1 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them. (nkjv) Lev 10:1 Und die Söhne Aarons Nadab und Abihu nahmen ein jeglicher seinen Napf und taten Feuer darein und legten Räuchwerk darauf und brachten das fremde Feuer vor den HERRN, das er ihnen nicht geboten hatte.(dhs) Lev 10:1 καὶ λαβόντες οἱ δύο υἱοὶ Ααρων Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ ἐπέθηκαν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ πῦρ καὶ ἐπέβαλον ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ θυμίαμα καὶ προσήνεγκαν ἔναντι κυρίου πῦρ ἀλλότριον ὃ οὐ προσέταξεν κύριος αὐτοῖς (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:2 ============ Lev 10:2 And fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. (nasb) Lev 10:2 So fire went out from the Lord and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. (nkjv) Lev 10:2 Da fuhr ein Feuer aus von dem HERRN und verzehrte sie, daß sie starben vor dem HERRN.(dhs) Lev 10:2 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτούς καὶ ἀπέθανον ἔναντι κυρίου (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:3 ============ Lev 10:3 Then Moses said to Aaron, "It is what the Lord spoke, saying,' By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.'" So Aaron, therefore, kept silent. (nasb) Lev 10:3 And Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the Lord spoke, saying: 'By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.' " So Aaron held his peace. (nkjv) Lev 10:3 Da sprach Mose zu Aaron: Das ist's, was der HERR gesagt hat: Ich erzeige mich heilig an denen, die mir nahe sind, und vor allem Volk erweise ich mich herrlich. Und Aaron schwieg still.(dhs) Lev 10:3 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων τοῦτό ἐστιν ὃ εἶπεν κύριος λέγων ἐν τοῖς ἐγγίζουσίν μοι ἁγιασθήσομαι καὶ ἐν πάσῃ τῇ συναγωγῇ δοξασθήσομαι καὶ κατενύχθη Ααρων (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:4 ============ Lev 10:4 Moses called also to Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Aaron's uncle Uzziel, and said to them, "Come forward, carry your relatives away from the front of the sanctuary to the outside of the camp." (nasb) Lev 10:4 And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, "Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp." (nkjv) Lev 10:4 Mose aber rief Misael und Elzaphan, die Söhne Usiels, Aarons Vettern, und sprach zu ihnen: Tretet hinzu und traget eure Brüder von dem Heiligtum hinaus vor das Lager.(dhs) Lev 10:4 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυσῆς τὸν Μισαδαι καὶ τὸν Ελισαφαν υἱοὺς Οζιηλ υἱοὺς τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρὸς Ααρων καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς προσέλθατε καὶ ἄρατε τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν ἐκ προσώπου τῶν ἁγίων ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:5 ============ Lev 10:5 So they came forward and carried them still in their tunics to the outside of the camp, as Moses had said. (nasb) Lev 10:5 So they went near and carried them by their tunics out of the camp, as Moses had said. (nkjv) Lev 10:5 Und sie traten hinzu und trugen sie hinaus mit ihren leinenen Röcken vor das Lager, wie Mose gesagt hatte.(dhs) Lev 10:5 καὶ προσῆλθον καὶ ἦραν ἐν τοῖς χιτῶσιν αὐτῶν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν Μωυσῆς (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:6 ============ Lev 10:6 Then Moses said to Aaron and to his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, "Do not uncover your heads nor tear your clothes, so that you will not die and that He will not become wrathful against all the congregation. But your kinsmen, the whole house of Israel, shall bewail the burning which the Lord has brought about. (nasb) Lev 10:6 And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his sons, "Do not uncover your heads nor tear your clothes, lest you die, and wrath come upon all the people. But let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the Lord has kindled. (nkjv) Lev 10:6 Da sprach Mose zu Aaron und seinen Söhnen Eleasar und Ithamar: Ihr sollt eure Häupter nicht entblößen noch eure Kleider zerreißen, daß ihr nicht sterbet und der Zorn über die ganze Gemeinde komme. Laßt eure Brüder, das ganze Haus Israel, weinen über diesen Brand, den der HERR getan hat.(dhs) Lev 10:6 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων καὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ τοὺς καταλελειμμένους τὴν κεφαλὴν ὑμῶν οὐκ ἀποκιδαρώσετε καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια ὑμῶν οὐ διαρρήξετε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν ἔσται θυμός οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμῶν πᾶς ὁ οἶκος Ισραηλ κλαύσονται τὸν ἐμπυρισμόν ὃν ἐνεπυρίσθησαν ὑπὸ κυρίου (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:7 ============ Lev 10:7 You shall not even go out from the doorway of the tent of meeting, or you will die; for the Lord's anointing oil is upon you." So they did according to the word of Moses. (nasb) Lev 10:7 You shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of the Lord is upon you." And they did according to the word of Moses. (nkjv) Lev 10:7 Ihr aber sollt nicht ausgehen von der Tür der Hütte des Stifts, ihr möchtet sterben; denn das Salböl des HERRN ist auf euch. Und sie taten, wie Mose sagte.(dhs) Lev 10:7 καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου οὐκ ἐξελεύσεσθε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε τὸ γὰρ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως τὸ παρὰ κυρίου ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν καὶ ἐποίησαν κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα Μωυσῆ (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:8 ============ Lev 10:8 The Lord then spoke to Aaron, saying, (nasb) Lev 10:8 Then the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying: (nkjv) Lev 10:8 Der HERR aber redete mit Aaron und sprach:(dhs) Lev 10:8 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος τῷ Ααρων λέγων (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:9 ============ Lev 10:9 "Do not drink wine or strong drink, neither you nor your sons with you, when you come into the tent of meeting, so that you will not die--it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations-- (nasb) Lev 10:9 "Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, (nkjv) Lev 10:9 Du und deine Söhne mit dir sollt keinen Wein noch starkes Getränk trinken, wenn ihr in die Hütte des Stifts geht, auf daß ihr nicht sterbet. Das sei ein ewiges Recht allen euren Nachkommen,(dhs) Lev 10:9 οἶνον καὶ σικερα οὐ πίεσθε σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ ἡνίκα ἂν εἰσπορεύησθε εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἢ προσπορευομένων ὑμῶν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνητε νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:10 ============ Lev 10:10 and so as to make a distinction between the holy and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean, (nasb) Lev 10:10 that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean, (nkjv) Lev 10:10 auf daß ihr könnt unterscheiden, was heilig und unheilig, was rein und unrein ist,(dhs) Lev 10:10 διαστεῖλαι ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἁγίων καὶ τῶν βεβήλων καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἀκαθάρτων καὶ τῶν καθαρῶν (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:11 ============ Lev 10:11 and so as to teach the sons of Israel all the statutes which the Lord has spoken to them through Moses." (nasb) Lev 10:11 and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord has spoken to them by the hand of Moses." (nkjv) Lev 10:11 und daß ihr die Kinder Israel lehret alle Rechte, die der HERR zu ihnen geredet hat durch Mose.(dhs) Lev 10:11 καὶ συμβιβάσεις τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ πάντα τὰ νόμιμα ἃ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτοὺς διὰ χειρὸς Μωυσῆ (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:12 ============ Lev 10:12 Then Moses spoke to Aaron, and to his surviving sons, Eleazar and Ithamar, "Take the grain offering that is left over from the Lord's offerings by fire and eat it unleavened beside the altar, for it is most holy. (nasb) Lev 10:12 And Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his sons who were left: "Take the grain offering that remains of the offerings made by fire to the Lord, and eat it without leaven beside the altar; for it is most holy. (nkjv) Lev 10:12 Und Mose redete mit Aaron und mit seinen noch übrigen Söhnen, Eleasar und Ithamar: Nehmet, was übriggeblieben ist vom Speisopfer an den Opfern des HERRN, und esset's ungesäuert bei dem Altar; denn es ist ein Hochheiliges.(dhs) Lev 10:12 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ααρων τοὺς καταλειφθέντας λάβετε τὴν θυσίαν τὴν καταλειφθεῖσαν ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου καὶ φάγεσθε ἄζυμα παρὰ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:13 ============ Lev 10:13 You shall eat it, moreover, in a holy place, because it is your due and your sons' due out of the Lord's offerings by fire; for thus I have been commanded. (nasb) Lev 10:13 You shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your due and your sons' due, of the sacrifices made by fire to the Lord; for so I have been commanded. (nkjv) Lev 10:13 Ihr sollt's aber an heiliger Stätte essen; denn das ist dein Recht und deiner Söhne Recht an den Opfern des HERRN; denn so ist's mir geboten.(dhs) Lev 10:13 καὶ φάγεσθε αὐτὴν ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ νόμιμον γάρ σοί ἐστιν καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου τοῦτο ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου οὕτω γὰρ ἐντέταλταί μοι (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:14 ============ Lev 10:14 The breast of the wave offering, however, and the thigh of the offering you may eat in a clean place, you and your sons and your daughters with you; for they have been given as your due and your sons' due out of the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the sons of Israel. (nasb) Lev 10:14 The breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering you shall eat in a clean place, you, your sons, and your daughters with you; for they are your due and your sons' due, which are given from the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel. (nkjv) Lev 10:14 Aber die Webebrust und die Hebeschulter sollst du und deine Söhne und deine Töchter mit dir essen an reiner Stätte; denn solch Recht ist dir und deinen Kindern gegeben an den Dankopfern der Kinder Israel.(dhs) Lev 10:14 καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἀφορίσματος καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος φάγεσθε ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ ὁ οἶκός σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον γὰρ σοὶ καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου ἐδόθη ἀπὸ τῶν θυσιῶν τοῦ σωτηρίου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:15 ============ Lev 10:15 The thigh offered by lifting up and the breast offered by waving they shall bring along with the offerings by fire of the portions of fat, to present as a wave offering before the Lord; so it shall be a thing perpetually due you and your sons with you, just as the Lord has commanded." (nasb) Lev 10:15 The thigh of the heave offering and the breast of the wave offering they shall bring with the offerings of fat made by fire, to offer as a wave offering before the Lord. And it shall be yours and your sons' with you, by a statute forever, as the Lord has commanded." So he was angry with Aaron's surviving sons Eleazar and Ithamar, saying, (nasb) Lev 10:16 Then Moses made careful inquiry about the goat of the sin offering, and there it was--burned up. And he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying, (nkjv) Lev 10:16 Und Mose suchte den Bock des Sündopfers, und fand ihn verbrannt, Und er ward zornig über Eleasar und Ithamar, Aarons Söhne, die noch übrig waren, und sprach:(dhs) Lev 10:16 καὶ τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ζητῶν ἐξεζήτησεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ὅδε ἐνεπεπύριστο καὶ ἐθυμώθη Μωυσῆς ἐπὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ααρων τοὺς καταλελειμμένους λέγων (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:17 ============ Lev 10:17 "Why did you not eat the sin offering at the holy place? For it is most holy, and He gave it to you to bear away the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord. (nasb) Lev 10:17 "Why have you not eaten the sin offering in a holy place, since it is most holy, and God has given it to you to bear the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord? (nkjv) Lev 10:17 Warum habt ihr das Sündopfer nicht gegessen an heiliger Stätte? denn es ist ein Hochheiliges, und er hat's euch gegeben, daß ihr die Missetat der Gemeinde tragen sollt, daß ihr sie versöhnet vor dem HERRN.(dhs) Lev 10:17 διὰ τί οὐκ ἐφάγετε τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ὅτι γὰρ ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν τοῦτο ἔδωκεν ὑμῖν φαγεῖν ἵνα ἀφέλητε τὴν ἁμαρτίαν τῆς συναγωγῆς καὶ ἐξιλάσησθε περὶ αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:18 ============ Lev 10:18 Behold, since its blood had not been brought inside, into the sanctuary, you should certainly have eaten it in the sanctuary, just as I commanded." (nasb) Lev 10:18 See! Its blood was not brought inside the holy place; indeed you should have eaten it in a holy place, as I commanded." (nkjv) Lev 10:18 Siehe, sein Blut ist nicht gekommen in das Heilige hinein. Ihr solltet es im Heiligen gegessen haben, wie mir geboten ist.(dhs) Lev 10:18 οὐ γὰρ εἰσήχθη τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἅγιον κατὰ πρόσωπον ἔσω φάγεσθε αὐτὸ ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ὃν τρόπον μοι συνέταξεν κύριος (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:19 ============ Lev 10:19 But Aaron spoke to Moses, "Behold, this very day they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord. When things like these happened to me, if I had eaten a sin offering today, would it have been good in the sight of the Lord?" (nasb) Lev 10:19 And Aaron said to Moses, "Look, this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, and such things have befallen me! If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been accepted in the sight of the Lord?" (nkjv) Lev 10:19 Aaron aber sprach zu Mose: Siehe, heute haben sie ihr Sündopfer und ihr Brandopfer vor dem HERRN geopfert, und es ist mir also gegangen, wie du siehst; und ich sollte essen heute vom Sündopfer? Sollte das dem HERRN gefallen?(dhs) Lev 10:19 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Ααρων πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων εἰ σήμερον προσαγειόχασιν τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ συμβέβηκέν μοι ταῦτα καὶ φάγομαι τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας σήμερον μὴ ἀρεστὸν ἔσται κυρίῳ (lxx) ======= Leviticus 10:20 ============ Lev 10:20 When Moses heard that, it seemed good in his sight.
