(nkjv) Deu 20:1 Wenn du in einen Krieg ziehst wider deine Feinde und siehst Rosse und Wagen eines Volks, das größer ist als du, so fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen; denn der HER, dein Gott, der dich aus Ägyptenland geführt hat, ist mit dir.(dhs) Deu 20:1 ἐὰν δὲ ἐξέλθῃς εἰς πόλεμον ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου καὶ ἴδῃς ἵππον καὶ ἀναβάτην καὶ λαὸν πλείονά σου οὐ φοβηθήσῃ ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου μετὰ σοῦ ὁ ἀναβιβάσας σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:2 ============ Deu 20:2 When you are approaching the battle, the priest shall come near and speak to the people. (nasb) Deu 20:2 So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people. (nkjv) Deu 20:2 Wenn ihr nun hinzukommt zum Streit, so soll der Priester herzutreten und mit dem Volk reden(dhs) Deu 20:2 καὶ ἔσται ὅταν ἐγγίσῃς τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ προσεγγίσας ὁ ἱερεὺς λαλήσει τῷ λαῷ (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:3 ============ Deu 20:3 He shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel, you are approaching the battle against your enemies today. Do not be fainthearted. Do not be afraid, or panic, or tremble before them, (nasb) Deu 20:3 And he shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; (nkjv) Deu 20:3 und zu ihnen sprechen: Israel, höre zu! Ihr geht heute in den Streit wider eure Feinde; euer Herz verzage nicht, fürchtet euch nicht und erschreckt nicht und laßt euch nicht grauen vor ihnen;(dhs) Deu 20:3 καὶ ἐρεῖ πρὸς αὐτούς ἄκουε Ισραηλ ὑμεῖς προσπορεύεσθε σήμερον εἰς πόλεμον ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν μὴ ἐκλυέσθω ἡ καρδία ὑμῶν μὴ φοβεῖσθε μηδὲ θραύεσθε μηδὲ ἐκκλίνητε ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:4 ============ Deu 20:4 for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.' (nasb) Deu 20:4 for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.' (nkjv) Deu 20:4 denn der HERR, euer Gott, geht mit euch, daß er für euch streite mit euren Feinden, euch zu helfen.(dhs) Deu 20:4 ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ προπορευόμενος μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν συνεκπολεμῆσαι ὑμῖν τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν διασῶσαι ὑμᾶς (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:5 ============ Deu 20:5 The officers also shall speak to the people, saying, 'Who is the man that has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would dedicate it. (nasb) Deu 20:5 Then the officers shall speak to the people, saying: 'What man is there who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it. (nkjv) Deu 20:5 Aber die Amtleute sollen mit dem Volk reden und sagen: Welcher ein neues Haus gebaut hat und hat's noch nicht eingeweiht, der gehe hin und bleibe in seinem Hause, auf daß er nicht sterbe im Krieg und ein anderer weihe es ein.(dhs) Deu 20:5 καὶ λαλήσουσιν οἱ γραμματεῖς πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγοντες τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὁ οἰκοδομήσας οἰκίαν καινὴν καὶ οὐκ ἐνεκαίνισεν αὐτήν πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἕτερος ἐγκαινιεῖ αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:6 ============ Deu 20:6 Who is the man that has planted a vineyard and has not begun to use its fruit? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would begin to use its fruit. (nasb) Deu 20:6 Also what man is there who has planted a vineyard and has not eaten of it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man eat of it. (nkjv) Deu 20:6 Welcher einen Weinberg gepflanzt hat und hat seine Früchte noch nicht genossen, der gehe hin und bleibe daheim, daß er nicht im Kriege sterbe und ein anderer genieße seine Früchte.(dhs) Deu 20:6 καὶ τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὅστις ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα καὶ οὐκ εὐφράνθη ἐξ αὐτοῦ πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἕτερος εὐφρανθήσεται ἐξ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:7 ============ Deu 20:7 And who is the man that is engaged to a woman and has not married her? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would marry her.' (nasb) Deu 20:7 And what man is there who is betrothed to a woman and has not married her? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man marry her.' (nkjv) Deu 20:7 Welcher ein Weib sich verlobt hat und hat sie noch nicht heimgeholt, der gehe hin und bleibe daheim, daß er nicht im Kriege sterbe und ein anderer hole sie heim.(dhs) Deu 20:7 καὶ τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὅστις μεμνήστευται γυναῖκα καὶ οὐκ ἔλαβεν αὐτήν πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἕτερος λήμψεται αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:8 ============ Deu 20:8 Then the officers shall speak further to the people and say, 'Who is the man that is afraid and fainthearted? Let him depart and return to his house, so that he might not make his brothers' hearts melt like his heart.' (nasb) Deu 20:8 The officers shall speak further to the people, and say, 'What man is there who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brethren faint like his heart.' (nkjv) Deu 20:8 Und die Amtleute sollen weiter mit dem Volk reden und sprechen: Welcher sich fürchtet und ein verzagtes Herz hat, der gehe hin und bleibe daheim, auf daß er nicht auch seiner Brüder Herz feige mache, wie sein Herz ist.(dhs) Deu 20:8 καὶ προσθήσουσιν οἱ γραμματεῖς λαλῆσαι πρὸς τὸν λαὸν καὶ ἐροῦσιν τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὁ φοβούμενος καὶ δειλὸς τῇ καρδίᾳ πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ ἵνα μὴ δειλιάνῃ τὴν καρδίαν τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ ὥσπερ ἡ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:9 ============ Deu 20:9 When the officers have finished speaking to the people, they shall appoint commanders of armies at the head of the people. (nasb) Deu 20:9 And so it shall be, when the officers have finished speaking to the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people. (nkjv) Deu 20:9 Und wenn die Amtleute ausgeredet haben mit dem Volk, so sollen sie die Hauptleute vor das Volk an die Spitze stellen.(dhs) Deu 20:9 καὶ ἔσται ὅταν παύσωνται οἱ γραμματεῖς λαλοῦντες πρὸς τὸν λαόν καὶ καταστήσουσιν ἄρχοντας τῆς στρατιᾶς προηγουμένους τοῦ λαοῦ (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:10 ============ Deu 20:10 "When you approach a city to fight against it, you shall offer it terms of peace. (nasb) Deu 20:10 "When you go near a city to fight against it, then proclaim an offer of peace to it. (nkjv) Deu 20:10 Wenn du vor eine Stadt ziehst, sie zu bestreiten, so sollst du ihr den Frieden anbieten.(dhs) Deu 20:10 ἐὰν δὲ προσέλθῃς πρὸς πόλιν ἐκπολεμῆσαι αὐτήν καὶ ἐκκαλέσῃ αὐτοὺς μετ᾽ εἰρήνης (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:11 ============ Deu 20:11 If it agrees to make peace with you and opens to you, then all the people who are found in it shall become your forced labor and shall serve you. (nasb) Deu 20:11 And it shall be that if they accept your offer of peace, and open to you, then all the people who are found in it shall be placed under tribute to you, and serve you. (nkjv) Deu 20:11 Antwortet sie dir friedlich und tut dir auf, so soll das Volk, das darin gefunden wird dir zinsbar und untertan sein.(dhs) Deu 20:11 ἐὰν μὲν εἰρηνικὰ ἀποκριθῶσίν σοι καὶ ἀνοίξωσίν σοι ἔσται πᾶς ὁ λαὸς οἱ εὑρεθέντες ἐν αὐτῇ ἔσονταί σοι φορολόγητοι καὶ ὑπήκοοί σου (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:12 ============ Deu 20:12 However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it. (nasb) Deu 20:12 Now if the city will not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it. (nkjv) Deu 20:12 Will sie aber nicht friedlich mit dir handeln und will mit dir kriegen, so belagere sie.(dhs) Deu 20:12 ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ὑπακούσωσίν σοι καὶ ποιήσωσιν πρὸς σὲ πόλεμον περικαθιεῖς αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:13 ============ Deu 20:13 When the Lord your God gives it into your hand, you shall strike all the men in it with the edge of the sword. (nasb) Deu 20:13 And when the Lord your God delivers it into your hands, you shall strike every male in it with the edge of the sword. (nkjv) Deu 20:13 Und wenn sie der HERR, dein Gott, dir in die Hand gibt, so sollst du alles, was männlich darin ist, mit des Schwertes Schärfe schlagen.(dhs) Deu 20:13 καὶ παραδώσει αὐτὴν κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὰς χεῖράς σου καὶ πατάξεις πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν αὐτῆς ἐν φόνῳ μαχαίρας (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:14 ============ Deu 20:14 Only the women and the children and the animals and all that is in the city, all its spoil, you shall take as booty for yourself; and you shall use the spoil of your enemies which the Lord your God has given you. (nasb) Deu 20:14 But the women, the little ones, the livestock, and all that is in the city, all its spoil, you shall plunder for yourself; and you shall eat the enemies' plunder which the Lord your God gives you. (nkjv) Deu 20:14 Allein die Weiber, die Kinder und das Vieh und alles, was in der Stadt ist, und allen Raub sollst du unter dich austeilen und sollst essen von der Ausbeute deiner Feinde, die dir der HERR, dein Gott, gegeben hat.(dhs) Deu 20:14 πλὴν τῶν γυναικῶν καὶ τῆς ἀποσκευῆς καὶ πάντα τὰ κτήνη καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἂν ὑπάρχῃ ἐν τῇ πόλει καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν ἀπαρτίαν προνομεύσεις σεαυτῷ καὶ φάγῃ πᾶσαν τὴν προνομὴν τῶν ἐχθρῶν σου ὧν κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:15 ============ Deu 20:15 Thus you shall do to all the cities that are very far from you, which are not of the cities of these nations nearby. For is the tree of the field a man, that it should be besieged by you? (nasb) Deu 20:19 "When you besiege a city for a long time, while making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an ax against them; if you can eat of them, do not cut them down to use in the siege, for the tree of the field is man's food. (nkjv) Deu 20:19 Wenn du vor einer Stadt lange Zeit liegen mußt, wider die du streitest, sie zu erobern, so sollst die Bäume nicht verderben, daß du mit Äxten dran fährst; denn du kannst davon essen, darum sollst du sie nicht ausrotten. Ist's doch Holz auf dem Felde und nicht ein Mensch, daß es vor dir ein Bollwerk sein könnte.(dhs) Deu 20:19 ἐὰν δὲ περικαθίσῃς περὶ πόλιν ἡμέρας πλείους ἐκπολεμῆσαι αὐτὴν εἰς κατάλημψιν αὐτῆς οὐχὶ ἐξολεθρεύσεις τὰ δένδρα αὐτῆς ἐπιβαλεῖν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰ σίδηρον ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ φάγῃ αὐτὸ δὲ οὐκ ἐκκόψεις μὴ ἄνθρωπος τὸ ξύλον τὸ ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ εἰσελθεῖν ἀπὸ προσώπου σου εἰς τὸν χάρακα (lxx) ======= Deuteronomy 20:20 ============ Deu 20:20 Only the trees which you know are not fruit trees you shall destroy and cut down, that you may construct siegeworks against the city that is making war with you until it falls. (nasb) Deu 20:20 Only the trees which you know are not trees for food you may destroy and cut down, to build siegeworks against the city that makes war with you, until it is subdued.
