(nasb) Jdg 4:2 So the Lord sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth Hagoyim. (nasb) Jdg 4:3 And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord; for Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron, and for twenty years he harshly oppressed the children of Israel. (nkjv) Jdg 4:4 Zu der Zeit war Richterin in Israel die Prophetin Debora, das Weib Lapidoths.(dhs) Jdg 4:4 καὶ Δεββωρα γυνὴ προφῆτις γυνὴ Λαφιδωθ αὐτὴ ἔκρινεν τὸν Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ (lxx) ======= Judges 4:5 ============ Jdg 4:5 She used to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the sons of Israel came up to her for judgment. (nasb) Jdg 4:5 And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. (nkjv) Jdg 4:5 Und sie wohnte unter der Palme Deboras zwischen Rama und Beth-El auf dem Gebirge Ephraim. Und die Kinder Israel kamen zu ihr hinauf vor Gericht.(dhs) Jdg 4:5 καὶ αὐτὴ ἐκάθητο ὑπὸ φοίνικα Δεββωρα ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς Ραμα καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς Βαιθηλ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Εφραιμ καὶ ἀνέβαινον πρὸς αὐτὴν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ εἰς κρίσιν (lxx) ======= Judges 4:6 ============ Jdg 4:6 Now she sent and summoned Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh-naphtali, and said to him, "Behold, the Lord, the God of Israel, has commanded, 'Go and march to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men from the sons of Naphtali and from the sons of Zebulun. (nasb) Jdg 4:6 Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, "Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, 'Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; (nkjv) Jdg 4:6 Diese sandte hin und ließ rufen Barak, den Sohn Abinoams von Kedes-Naphthali, und ließ ihm sagen: Hat dir nicht der HERR, der Gott Israels, geboten: Gehe hin und zieh auf den Berg Thabor und nimm zehntausend Mann mit dir von den Kindern Naphthali und Sebulon?(dhs) Jdg 4:6 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Δεββωρα καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸν Βαρακ υἱὸν Αβινεεμ ἐκ Καδης Νεφθαλι καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν οὐχὶ ἐνετείλατο κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ σοὶ καὶ ἀπελεύσῃ εἰς ὄρος Θαβωρ καὶ λήμψῃ μετὰ σεαυτοῦ δέκα χιλιάδας ἀνδρῶν ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Νεφθαλι καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ζαβουλων (lxx) ======= Judges 4:7 ============ Jdg 4:7 I will draw out to you Sisera, the commander of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his many troops to the river Kishon, and I will give him into your hand.'" (nasb) Jdg 4:7 and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand'?" (nkjv) Jdg 4:8 Barak sprach zu ihr: Wenn du mit mir ziehst, so will ich ziehen; ziehst du aber nicht mit mir, so will ich nicht ziehen.(dhs) Jdg 4:8 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὴν Βαρακ ἐὰν πορευθῇς μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ πορεύσομαι καὶ ἐὰν μὴ πορευθῇς οὐ πορεύσομαι ὅτι οὐκ οἶδα τὴν ἡμέραν ἐν ᾗ εὐοδοῖ τὸν ἄγγελον κύριος μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ (lxx) ======= Judges 4:9 ============ Jdg 4:9 She said, "I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the honor shall not be yours on the journey that you are about to take, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hands of a woman." Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh. (nasb) Jdg 4:9 So she said, "I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman." Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh. (nkjv) Jdg 4:9 Sie sprach: Ich will mit dir ziehen, aber der Preis wird nicht dein sein auf dieser Reise, die du tust, sondern der HERR wird Sisera in eines Weibes Hand übergeben. Also machte sich Debora auf und zog mit Barak gen Kedes.(dhs) Jdg 4:9 καὶ εἶπεν πορευομένη πορεύσομαι μετὰ σοῦ πλὴν γίνωσκε ὅτι οὐκ ἔσται τὸ προτέρημά σου ἐπὶ τὴν ὁδόν ἣν σὺ πορεύῃ ὅτι ἐν χειρὶ γυναικὸς ἀποδώσεται κύριος τὸν Σισαρα καὶ ἀνέστη Δεββωρα καὶ ἐπορεύθη μετὰ Βαρακ ἐκ Καδης (lxx) ======= Judges 4:10 ============ Jdg 4:10 Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh, and ten thousand men went up with him; Deborah also went up with him. (nasb) Jdg 4:10 And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; he went up with ten thousand men under his command, and Deborah went up with him. (nkjv) Jdg 4:10 Da rief Barak Sebulon und Naphthali gen Kedes, und es zogen hinauf ihm nach zehntausend Mann. (nasb) Jdg 4:11 Now Heber the Kenite, of the children of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, had separated himself from the Kenites and pitched his tent near the terebinth tree at Zaanaim, which is beside Kedesh. (nkjv) Jdg 4:11 (Heber aber, der Keniter, war von den Kenitern, von den Kindern Hobabs, Mose's Schwagers, weggezogen und hatte seine Hütte aufgeschlagen bei den Eichen zu Zaanannim neben Kedes.)(dhs) Jdg 4:11 καὶ Χαβερ ὁ Κιναῖος ἐχωρίσθη ἀπὸ Καινα ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ιωβαβ γαμβροῦ Μωυσῆ καὶ ἔπηξεν τὴν σκηνὴν αὐτοῦ ἕως δρυὸς πλεονεκτούντων ἥ ἐστιν ἐχόμενα Κεδες (lxx) ======= Judges 4:12 ============ Jdg 4:12 Then they told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor. For this is the day in which the Lord has given Sisera into your hands; behold, the Lord has gone out before you." So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him. (nasb) Jdg 4:14 Then Deborah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the Lord has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not the Lord gone out before you?" (nkjv) Jdg 4:14 Debora aber sprach zu Barak: Auf! das ist der Tag, da dir der HERR den Sisera hat in deine Hand gegeben; denn der HERR wird vor dir her ausziehen. Do not be afraid." And he turned aside to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug. Da tat sie auf einen Milchtopf und gab ihm zu trinken und deckte ihn zu.(dhs) Jdg 4:19 καὶ εἶπεν Σισαρα πρὸς αὐτήν πότισόν με δὴ μικρὸν ὕδωρ ὅτι ἐδίψησα καὶ ἤνοιξεν τὸν ἀσκὸν τοῦ γάλακτος καὶ ἐπότισεν αὐτὸν καὶ περιέβαλεν αὐτόν (lxx) ======= Judges 4:20 ============ Jdg 4:20 He said to her, "Stand in the doorway of the tent, and it shall be if anyone comes and inquires of you, and says, 'Is there anyone here?' that you shall say, 'No.'" (nasb) Jdg 4:20 And he said to her, "Stand at the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says, 'Is there any man here?' you shall say, 'No.' " (nkjv) Jdg 4:20 Und er sprach zu ihr: Tritt in der Hütte Tür, und wenn jemand kommt und fragt, ob jemand hier sei, so sprich: Niemand.(dhs) Jdg 4:20 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὴν Σισαρα στῆθι δὴ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν ἀνὴρ ἔλθῃ πρὸς σὲ καὶ ἐρωτήσῃ σε καὶ εἴπῃ εἰ ἔστιν ὧδε ἀνήρ καὶ ἐρεῖς οὐκ ἔστιν (lxx) ======= Judges 4:21 ============ Jdg 4:21 But Jael, Heber's wife, took a tent peg and seized a hammer in her hand, and went secretly to him and drove the peg into his temple, and it went through into the ground; for he was sound asleep and exhausted. So he died. (nasb) Jdg 4:21 Then Jael, Heber's wife, took a tent peg and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple, and it went down into the ground; for he was fast asleep and weary. (nkjv) Jdg 4:21 Da nahm Jael, das Weib Hebers, einen Nagel von der Hütte und einen Hammer in ihre Hand und ging leise zu ihm hinein und schlug ihm den Nagel durch seine Schläfe, daß er in die Erde drang. Er aber war entschlummert, ward ohnmächtig und starb.(dhs) Jdg 4:21 καὶ ἔλαβεν Ιαηλ γυνὴ Χαβερ τὸν πάσσαλον τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ ἔθηκεν τὴν σφῦραν ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτῆς καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐν κρυφῇ καὶ ἔπηξεν τὸν πάσσαλον ἐν τῷ κροτάφῳ αὐτοῦ καὶ διεξῆλθεν ἐν τῇ γῇ καὶ αὐτὸς ἐξεστὼς ἐσκοτώθη καὶ ἀπέθανεν (lxx) ======= Judges 4:22 ============ Jdg 4:22 And behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him and said to him, "Come, and I will show you the man whom you are seeking." And he entered with her, and behold Sisera was lying dead with the tent peg in his temple. (nasb) Jdg 4:22 And then, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him, "Come, I will show you the man whom you seek." And when he went into her tent, there lay Sisera, dead with the peg in his temple. (nkjv) Jdg 4:22 Da aber Barak Sisera nachjagte, ging Jael heraus, ihm entgegen, und sprach zu ihm: Gehe her! ich will dir den Mann zeigen, den du suchst. Und da er zu ihr hineinkam, lag Sisera tot, und der Nagel steckte in seiner Schläfe.(dhs) Jdg 4:22 καὶ ἰδοὺ Βαρακ διώκων τὸν Σισαρα καὶ ἐξῆλθεν Ιαηλ εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτῷ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ δεῦρο καὶ δείξω σοι τὸν ἄνδρα ὃν σὺ ζητεῖς καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς αὐτήν καὶ ἰδοὺ Σισαρα ῥεριμμένος νεκρός καὶ ὁ πάσσαλος ἐν τῷ κροτάφῳ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Judges 4:23 ============ Jdg 4:23 So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the sons of Israel. (nasb) Jdg 4:23 So on that day God subdued Jabin king of Canaan in the presence of the children of Israel. (nasb) Jdg 4:24 And the hand of the children of Israel grew stronger and stronger against Jabin king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
