And a certain man of Bethlehem in Judah went to sojourn in the land of Moab with his wife and his two sons. And a certain man of Bethlehem, Judah, went to dwell in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons. (nkjv) Rut 1:1 Zu der Zeit, da die Richter regierten, ward eine Teuerung im Lande. Und ein Mann von Bethlehem-Juda zog wallen in der Moabiter Land mit seinem Weibe und seinen zwei Söhnen.(dhs) Rut 1:1 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ κρίνειν τοὺς κριτὰς καὶ ἐγένετο λιμὸς ἐν τῇ γῇ καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἀνὴρ ἀπὸ Βαιθλεεμ τῆς Ιουδα τοῦ παροικῆσαι ἐν ἀγρῷ Μωαβ αὐτὸς καὶ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:2 ============ Rut 1:2 The name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife, Naomi; and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem in Judah. Now they entered the land of Moab and remained there. (nkjv) Rut 1:6 Da machte sie sich auf mit ihren zwei Schwiegertöchtern und zog wieder aus der Moabiter Lande; denn sie hatte erfahren im Moabiterlande, daß der HERR sein Volk hatte heimgesucht und ihnen Brot gegeben.(dhs) Rut 1:6 καὶ ἀνέστη αὐτὴ καὶ αἱ δύο νύμφαι αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν ἐξ ἀγροῦ Μωαβ ὅτι ἤκουσαν ἐν ἀγρῷ Μωαβ ὅτι ἐπέσκεπται κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ δοῦναι αὐτοῖς ἄρτους (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:7 ============ Rut 1:7 So she departed from the place where she was, and her two daughters-in-law with her; and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah. (nasb) Rut 1:7 Therefore she went out from the place where she was, and her two daughters-in-law with her; and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah. Und da sie ging auf dem Wege, daß sie wiederkäme ins Land Juda,(dhs) Rut 1:7 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἐκ τοῦ τόπου οὗ ἦν ἐκεῖ καὶ αἱ δύο νύμφαι αὐτῆς μετ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπορεύοντο ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι εἰς τὴν γῆν Ιουδα (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:8 ============ Rut 1:8 And Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, "Go, return each of you to her mother's house. May the Lord deal kindly with you as you have dealt with the dead and with me. (nasb) Rut 1:8 And Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, "Go, return each to her mother's house. The Lord deal kindly with you, as you have dealt with the dead and with me. (nkjv) Rut 1:8 sprach sie zu ihren beiden Schwiegertöchtern: Geht hin und kehrt um, eine jegliche zu ihrer Mutter Haus. Der HERR tue an euch Barmherzigkeit, wie ihr an den Toten und mir getan habt!(dhs) Rut 1:8 καὶ εἶπεν Νωεμιν ταῖς νύμφαις αὐτῆς πορεύεσθε δὴ ἀποστράφητε ἑκάστη εἰς οἶκον μητρὸς αὐτῆς ποιήσαι κύριος μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἔλεος καθὼς ἐποιήσατε μετὰ τῶν τεθνηκότων καὶ μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:9 ============ Rut 1:9 May the Lord grant that you may find rest, each in the house of her husband." Da hoben sie ihre Stimmen auf und weinten(dhs) Rut 1:9 δῴη κύριος ὑμῖν καὶ εὕροιτε ἀνάπαυσιν ἑκάστη ἐν οἴκῳ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς καὶ κατεφίλησεν αὐτάς καὶ ἐπῆραν τὴν φωνὴν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔκλαυσαν (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:10 ============ Rut 1:10 And they said to her, "No, but we will surely return with you to your people." (nasb) Rut 1:10 And they said to her, "Surely we will return with you to your people." (nkjv) Rut 1:10 und sprachen zu ihr: Wir wollen mit dir zu deinem Volk gehen.(dhs) Rut 1:10 καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῇ μετὰ σοῦ ἐπιστρέφομεν εἰς τὸν λαόν σου (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:11 ============ Rut 1:11 But Naomi said, "Return, my daughters. Why should you go with me? Have I yet sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands? (nasb) Rut 1:11 But Naomi said, "Turn back, my daughters; why will you go with me? Are there still sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands? (nkjv) Rut 1:11 Aber Naemi sprach: Kehrt um, meine Töchter! warum wollt ihr mit mir gehen? Wie kann ich fürder Kinder in meinem Leibe haben, die eure Männer sein könnten?(dhs) Rut 1:11 καὶ εἶπεν Νωεμιν ἐπιστράφητε δή θυγατέρες μου καὶ ἵνα τί πορεύεσθε μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ μὴ ἔτι μοι υἱοὶ ἐν τῇ κοιλίᾳ μου καὶ ἔσονται ὑμῖν εἰς ἄνδρας (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:12 ============ Rut 1:12 Return, my daughters! Go, for I am too old to have a husband. If I said I have hope, if I should even have a husband tonight and also bear sons, (nasb) Rut 1:12 Turn back, my daughters, go--for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say I have hope, if I should have a husband tonight and should also bear sons, (nkjv) Rut 1:12 Kehrt um, meine Töchter, und geht hin! denn ich bin nun zu alt, daß ich einen Mann nehme. Und wenn ich spräche: Es ist zu hoffen, daß ich diese Nacht einen Mann nehme und Kinder gebäre,(dhs) Rut 1:12 ἐπιστράφητε δή θυγατέρες μου διότι γεγήρακα τοῦ μὴ εἶναι ἀνδρί ὅτι εἶπα ὅτι ἔστιν μοι ὑπόστασις τοῦ γενηθῆναί με ἀνδρὶ καὶ τέξομαι υἱούς (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:13 ============ Rut 1:13 would you therefore wait until they were grown? Would you therefore refrain from marrying? No, my daughters; for it is harder for me than for you, for the hand of the Lord has gone forth against me." (nasb) Rut 1:13 would you wait for them till they were grown? Would you restrain yourselves from having husbands? No, my daughters; for it grieves me very much for your sakes that the hand of the Lord has gone out against me!" (nkjv) Rut 1:13 wie könntet ihr doch harren, bis sie groß würden? wie wolltet ihr verziehen, daß ihr nicht Männer solltet nehmen? Nicht, meine Töchter! denn mich jammert euer sehr; denn des HERRN Hand ist über mich ausgegangen.(dhs) Rut 1:13 μὴ αὐτοὺς προσδέξεσθε ἕως οὗ ἁδρυνθῶσιν ἢ αὐτοῖς κατασχεθήσεσθε τοῦ μὴ γενέσθαι ἀνδρί μὴ δή θυγατέρες μου ὅτι ἐπικράνθη μοι ὑπὲρ ὑμᾶς ὅτι ἐξῆλθεν ἐν ἐμοὶ χεὶρ κυρίου (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:14 ============ Rut 1:14 And they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her. Und Opra küßte ihre Schwiegermutter; Rut aber blieb bei ihr.(dhs) Rut 1:14 καὶ ἐπῆραν τὴν φωνὴν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔκλαυσαν ἔτι καὶ κατεφίλησεν Ορφα τὴν πενθερὰν αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν εἰς τὸν λαὸν αὐτῆς Ρουθ δὲ ἠκολούθησεν αὐτῇ (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:15 ============ Rut 1:15 Then she said, "Behold, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and her gods; return after your sister-in-law." (nasb) Rut 1:15 And she said, "Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law." (nkjv) Rut 1:15 Sie aber sprach: Siehe, deine Schwägerin ist umgewandt zu ihrem Volk und zu ihrem Gott; kehre auch du um, deiner Schwägerin nach.(dhs) Rut 1:15 καὶ εἶπεν Νωεμιν πρὸς Ρουθ ἰδοὺ ἀνέστρεψεν ἡ σύννυμφός σου πρὸς λαὸν αὐτῆς καὶ πρὸς τοὺς θεοὺς αὐτῆς ἐπιστράφητι δὴ καὶ σὺ ὀπίσω τῆς συννύμφου σου (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:16 ============ Rut 1:16 But Ruth said, "Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. (nasb) Rut 1:16 But Ruth said: "Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. (nkjv) Rut 1:16 Rut antwortete: Rede mir nicht ein, daß ich dich verlassen sollte und von dir umkehren. Wo du hin gehst, da will ich auch hin gehen; wo du bleibst, da bleibe ich auch. Dein Volk ist mein Volk, und dein Gott ist mein Gott.(dhs) Rut 1:16 εἶπεν δὲ Ρουθ μὴ ἀπαντήσαι ἐμοὶ τοῦ καταλιπεῖν σε ἢ ἀποστρέψαι ὄπισθέν σου ὅτι σὺ ὅπου ἐὰν πορευθῇς πορεύσομαι καὶ οὗ ἐὰν αὐλισθῇς αὐλισθήσομαι ὁ λαός σου λαός μου καὶ ὁ θεός σου θεός μου (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:17 ============ Rut 1:17 Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. Thus may the Lord do to me, and worse, if anything but death parts you and me." (nasb) Rut 1:17 Where you die, I will die, And there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me." (nkjv) Rut 1:17 Wo du stirbst, da sterbe ich auch, da will ich auch begraben werden. Der HERR tue mir dies und das, der Tod muß mich und dich scheiden.(dhs) Rut 1:17 καὶ οὗ ἐὰν ἀποθάνῃς ἀποθανοῦμαι κἀκεῖ ταφήσομαι τάδε ποιήσαι μοι κύριος καὶ τάδε προσθείη ὅτι θάνατος διαστελεῖ ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ σοῦ (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:18 ============ Rut 1:18 When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more to her. And when they had come to Bethlehem, all the city was stirred because of them, and the women said, "Is this Naomi?" (nasb) Rut 1:19 Now the two of them went until they came to Bethlehem. And it happened, when they had come to Bethlehem, that all the city was excited because of them; and the women said, "Is this Naomi?" (nkjv) Rut 1:19 Also gingen die beiden miteinander, bis sie gen Bethlehem kamen. Und da sie nach Bethlehem hineinkamen, regte sich die ganze Stadt über ihnen und sprach: Ist das die Naemi?(dhs) Rut 1:19 ἐπορεύθησαν δὲ ἀμφότεραι ἕως τοῦ παραγενέσθαι αὐτὰς εἰς Βαιθλεεμ καὶ ἤχησεν πᾶσα ἡ πόλις ἐπ᾽ αὐταῖς καὶ εἶπον αὕτη ἐστὶν Νωεμιν (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:20 ============ Rut 1:20 She said to them, "Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. (nasb) Rut 1:20 But she said to them, "Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. (nkjv) Rut 1:20 Sie aber sprach: Heißt mich nicht Naemi, sondern Mara; denn der Allmächtige hat mich sehr betrübt.(dhs) Rut 1:20 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτάς μὴ δὴ καλεῖτέ με Νωεμιν καλέσατέ με Πικράν ὅτι ἐπικράνθη ἐν ἐμοὶ ὁ ἱκανὸς σφόδρα (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:21 ============ Rut 1:21 I went out full, but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why do you call me Naomi, since the Lord has witnessed against me and the Almighty has afflicted me?" (nasb) Rut 1:21 I went out full, and the Lord has brought me home again empty. Why do you call me Naomi, since the Lord has testified against me, and the Almighty has afflicted me?" (nkjv) Rut 1:21 Voll zog ich aus, aber leer hat mich der HERR wieder heimgebracht. Warum heißt ihr mich denn Naemi, so mich doch der HERR gedemütigt und der Allmächtige betrübt hat?(dhs) Rut 1:21 ἐγὼ πλήρης ἐπορεύθην καὶ κενὴν ἀπέστρεψέν με ὁ κύριος καὶ ἵνα τί καλεῖτέ με Νωεμιν καὶ κύριος ἐταπείνωσέν με καὶ ὁ ἱκανὸς ἐκάκωσέν με (lxx) ======= Ruth 1:22 ============ Rut 1:22 So Naomi returned, and with her Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter-in-law, who returned from the land of Moab. And they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest. (nasb) Rut 1:22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the country of Moab. Now they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest.
