Today's Date: ======= 1 Chronicles 28:1 ============ 1Ch 28:1 Now David assembled at Jerusalem all the officials of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the commanders of the divisions that served the king, and the commanders of thousands, and the commanders of hundreds, and the overseers of all the property and livestock belonging to the king and his sons, with the officials and the mighty men, even all the valiant men. So I had made preparations to build it. (nasb) 1Ch 28:2 Then King David rose to his feet and said, "Hear me, my brethren and my people: I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made preparations to build it. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:2 Und David, der König, stand auf und sprach: Höret mir zu, meine Brüder und mein Volk! Ich hatte mir vorgenommen, ein Haus zu bauen, da ruhen sollte die Lade des Bundes des HERRN und der Schemel seiner Füße unsres Gottes, und hatte mich geschickt, zu bauen.(dhs) 1Ch 28:2 καὶ ἔστη Δαυιδ ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ἐκκλησίας καὶ εἶπεν ἀκούσατέ μου ἀδελφοὶ καὶ λαός μου ἐμοὶ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ καρδίαν οἰκοδομῆσαι οἶκον ἀναπαύσεως τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης κυρίου καὶ στάσιν ποδῶν κυρίου ἡμῶν καὶ ἡτοίμασα τὰ εἰς τὴν κατασκήνωσιν ἐπιτήδεια (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:3 ============ 1Ch 28:3 But God said to me, 'You shall not build a house for My name because you are a man of war and have shed blood.' (nasb) 1Ch 28:3 But God said to me, 'You shall not build a house for My name, because you have been a man of war and have shed blood.' (nkjv) 1Ch 28:3 Aber Gott ließ mir sagen: Du sollst meinem Namen kein Haus bauen; denn du bist ein Kriegsmann und hast Blut vergossen.(dhs) 1Ch 28:3 καὶ ὁ θεὸς εἶπεν οὐκ οἰκοδομήσεις ἐμοὶ οἶκον τοῦ ἐπονομάσαι τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ὅτι ἄνθρωπος πολεμιστὴς εἶ σὺ καὶ αἵματα ἐξέχεας (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:4 ============ 1Ch 28:4 Yet, the Lord, the God of Israel, chose me from all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever. For He has chosen Judah to be a leader; and in the house of Judah, my father's house, and among the sons of my father He took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel. (nasb) 1Ch 28:4 However the Lord God of Israel chose me above all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever, for He has chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father, and among the sons of my father, He was pleased with me to make me king over all Israel. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:4 Nun hat der HERR, der Gott Israel, mich erwählt aus meines Vaters ganzem Hause, daß ich König über Israel sein sollte ewiglich. Denn er hat Juda erwählt zum Fürstentum, und im Hause Juda meines Vaters Haus, und unter meines Vaters Kindern hat er Gefallen gehabt an mir, daß er mich über ganz Israel zum König machte.(dhs) 1Ch 28:4 καὶ ἐξελέξατο κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἐν ἐμοὶ ἀπὸ παντὸς οἴκου πατρός μου εἶναι βασιλέα ἐπὶ Ισραηλ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ἐν Ιουδα ᾑρέτικεν τὸ βασίλειον καὶ ἐξ οἴκου Ιουδα τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς τοῦ πατρός μου ἐν ἐμοὶ ἠθέλησεν τοῦ γενέσθαι με βασιλέα ἐπὶ τῷ παντὶ Ισραηλ (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:5 ============ 1Ch 28:5 Of all my sons (for the Lord has given me many sons), He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel. (nasb) 1Ch 28:5 And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:5 Und unter allen seinen Söhnen (denn der HERR hat mir viele Söhne gegeben) hat er meinen Sohn Salomo erwählt, daß er sitzen soll auf dem Stuhl des Königreichs des Herrn über Israel,(dhs) 1Ch 28:5 καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν υἱῶν μου ὅτι πολλοὺς υἱοὺς ἔδωκέν μοι κύριος ἐξελέξατο ἐν Σαλωμων τῷ υἱῷ μου καθίσαι αὐτὸν ἐπὶ θρόνου βασιλείας κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:6 ============ 1Ch 28:6 He said to me, 'Your son Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a father to him. (nasb) 1Ch 28:6 Now He said to me, 'It is your son Solomon who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:6 und hat zu mir geredet: Dein Sohn Salomo soll mein Haus und meine Vorhöfe bauen; denn ich habe ihn erwählt zum Sohn, und ich will sein Vater sein(dhs) 1Ch 28:6 καὶ εἶπέν μοι ὁ θεός Σαλωμων ὁ υἱός σου οἰκοδομήσει τὸν οἶκόν μου καὶ τὴν αὐλήν μου ὅτι ᾑρέτικα ἐν αὐτῷ εἶναί μου υἱόν κἀγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῷ εἰς πατέρα (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:7 ============ 1Ch 28:7 I will establish his kingdom forever if he resolutely performs My commandments and My ordinances, as is done now.' (nasb) 1Ch 28:7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he is steadfast to observe My commandments and My judgments, as it is this day.' (nkjv) 1Ch 28:7 und will sein Königreich bestätigen ewiglich, so er wird anhalten, daß er tue nach meinen Geboten und Rechten, wie es heute steht.(dhs) 1Ch 28:7 καὶ κατορθώσω τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος ἐὰν ἰσχύσῃ τοῦ φυλάξασθαι τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:8 ============ 1Ch 28:8 So now, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek after all the commandments of the Lord your God so that you may possess the good land and bequeath it to your sons after you forever. (nasb) 1Ch 28:8 Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, be careful to seek out all the commandments of the Lord your God, that you may possess this good land, and leave it as an inheritance for your children after you forever. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:8 Nun vor dem ganzen Israel, der Gemeinde des HERRN, und vor den Ohren unseres Gottes: So haltet und sucht alle die Gebote des HERRN, eures Gottes, auf daß ihr besitzet das gute Land und es vererbt auf eure Kinder nach euch ewiglich.(dhs) 1Ch 28:8 καὶ νῦν κατὰ πρόσωπον πάσης ἐκκλησίας κυρίου καὶ ἐν ὠσὶν θεοῦ ἡμῶν φυλάξασθε καὶ ζητήσατε πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἵνα κληρονομήσητε τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθὴν καὶ κατακληρονομήσητε τοῖς υἱοῖς ὑμῶν μεθ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἕως αἰῶνος (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:9 ============ 1Ch 28:9 "As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:9 Und du, mein Sohn Salomo, erkenne den Gott deines Vaters und diene ihm mit ganzem Herzen und mit williger Seele. Denn der HERR sucht alle Herzen und versteht aller Gedanken Dichten. Wirst du ihn suchen, so wirst du ihn finden; wirst du ihn aber verlassen, so wird er dich verwerfen ewiglich.(dhs) 1Ch 28:9 καὶ νῦν Σαλωμων υἱέ μου γνῶθι τὸν θεὸν τῶν πατέρων σου καὶ δούλευε αὐτῷ ἐν καρδίᾳ τελείᾳ καὶ ψυχῇ θελούσῃ ὅτι πάσας καρδίας ἐτάζει κύριος καὶ πᾶν ἐνθύμημα γιγνώσκει ἐὰν ζητήσῃς αὐτόν εὑρεθήσεταί σοι καὶ ἐὰν καταλείψῃς αὐτόν καταλείψει σε εἰς τέλος (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:10 ============ 1Ch 28:10 Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be courageous and act." (nasb) 1Ch 28:10 Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it." (nkjv) 1Ch 28:10 So siehe nun zu; denn der HERR hat dich erwählt, daß du sein Haus baust zum Heiligtum. Sei getrost und mache es!(dhs) 1Ch 28:10 ἰδὲ τοίνυν ὅτι κύριος ᾑρέτικέν σε οἰκοδομῆσαι αὐτῷ οἶκον εἰς ἁγίασμα ἴσχυε καὶ ποίει (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:11 ============ 1Ch 28:11 Then David gave to his son Solomon the plan of the porch of the temple, its buildings, its storehouses, its upper rooms, its inner rooms and the room for the mercy seat; (nasb) 1Ch 28:11 Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the vestibule, its houses, its treasuries, its upper chambers, its inner chambers, and the place of the mercy seat; (nkjv) 1Ch 28:11 Und David gab seinem Sohn Salomo ein Vorbild der Halle des Tempels und seiner Häuser und der Gemächer und Söller und Kammern inwendig und des Hauses Gnadenstuhls,(dhs) 1Ch 28:11 καὶ ἔδωκεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ναοῦ καὶ τῶν οἴκων αὐτοῦ καὶ τῶν ζακχω αὐτοῦ καὶ τῶν ὑπερῴων καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν ἐσωτέρων καὶ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ ἐξιλασμοῦ (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:12 ============ 1Ch 28:12 and the plan of all that he had in mind, for the courts of the house of the Lord, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things; (nasb) 1Ch 28:12 and the plans for all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the Lord, of all the chambers all around, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries for the dedicated things; (nkjv) 1Ch 28:12 dazu Vorbilder alles dessen, was bei ihm in seinem Gemüt war, nämlich die Vorhöfe am Hause des HERRN und aller Gemächer umher für die Schätze im Hause Gottes und für die Schätze des Geheiligten,(dhs) 1Ch 28:12 καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα ὃ εἶχεν ἐν πνεύματι αὐτοῦ τῶν αὐλῶν οἴκου κυρίου καὶ πάντων τῶν παστοφορίων τῶν κύκλῳ τῶν εἰς τὰς ἀποθήκας οἴκου κυρίου καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν ἁγίων (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:13 ============ 1Ch 28:13 also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites and for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord and for all the utensils of service in the house of the Lord; (nasb) 1Ch 28:13 also for the division of the priests and the Levites, for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and for all the articles of service in the house of the Lord. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:19 "Das alles ist mir beschrieben gegeben von der Hand des HERRN, daß es mich unterwiese über alle Werke des Vorbildes."(dhs) 1Ch 28:19 πάντα ἐν γραφῇ χειρὸς κυρίου ἔδωκεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων κατὰ τὴν περιγενηθεῖσαν αὐτῷ σύνεσιν τῆς κατεργασίας τοῦ παραδείγματος (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:20 ============ 1Ch 28:20 Then David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished. (nasb) 1Ch 28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God--my God--will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord. (nkjv) 1Ch 28:20 Und David sprach zu seinem Sohn Salomo: Sei getrost und unverzagt und mache es; fürchte dich nicht und zage nicht! Gott der HERR, mein Gott, wird mit dir sein und wird die Hand nicht abziehen noch dich verlassen, bis du alle Werke zum Amt im Hause des HERRN vollendest.(dhs) 1Ch 28:20 καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ποίει μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός μου μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε καὶ οὐ μή σε ἐγκαταλίπῃ ἕως τοῦ συντελέσαι σε πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου κυρίου (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 28:21 ============ 1Ch 28:21 Now behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of the house of God, and every willing man of any skill will be with you in all the work for all kinds of service. The officials also and all the people will be entirely at your command." (nasb) 1Ch 28:21 Here are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of the house of God; and every willing craftsman will be with you for all manner of workmanship, for every kind of service; also the leaders and all the people will be completely at your command."
