Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 30:1 ============ Isa 30:1 "Woe to the rebellious children," declares the Lord, "Who execute a plan, but not Mine, And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, In order to add sin to sin; (nasb) Isa 30:1 "Woe to the rebellious children," says the Lord, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin; (nkjv) Isa 30:1 Weh den abtrünnigen Kindern, spricht der HERR, die ohne mich ratschlagen und ohne meinen Geist Schutz suchen, zu Häufen eine Sünde über die andere;(dhs) Isa 30:1 οὐαὶ τέκνα ἀποστάται τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐποιήσατε βουλὴν οὐ δι᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ συνθήκας οὐ διὰ τοῦ πνεύματός μου προσθεῖναι ἁμαρτίας ἐφ᾽ ἁμαρτίαις (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:2 ============ Isa 30:2 Who proceed down to Egypt Without consulting Me, To take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh And to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt! (nasb) Isa 30:2 Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt! (nkjv) Isa 30:2 die hinabziehen nach Ägypten und fragen meinen Mund nicht, daß sie sich stärken mit der Macht Pharaos und sich beschirmen unter dem Schatten Ägyptens!(dhs) Isa 30:2 οἱ πορευόμενοι καταβῆναι εἰς Αἴγυπτον ἐμὲ δὲ οὐκ ἐπηρώτησαν τοῦ βοηθηθῆναι ὑπὸ Φαραω καὶ σκεπασθῆναι ὑπὸ Αἰγυπτίων (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:3 ============ Isa 30:3 "Therefore the safety of Pharaoh will be your shame And the shelter in the shadow of Egypt, your humiliation. (nasb) Isa 30:3 Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation. (nkjv) Isa 30:3 Denn es soll euch die Stärke Pharaos zur Schande geraten und der Schutz unter dem Schatten Ägyptens zum Hohn.(dhs) Isa 30:3 ἔσται γὰρ ὑμῖν ἡ σκέπη Φαραω εἰς αἰσχύνην καὶ τοῖς πεποιθόσιν ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον ὄνειδος (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:4 ============ Isa 30:4 "For their princes are at Zoan And their ambassadors arrive at Hanes. (nasb) Isa 30:4 For his princes were at Zoan, And his ambassadors came to Hanes. (nkjv) Isa 30:4 Ihre Fürsten sind wohl zu Zoan gewesen und ihre Botschafter gen Hanes gekommen;(dhs) Isa 30:4 ὅτι εἰσὶν ἐν Τάνει ἀρχηγοὶ ἄγγελοι πονηροί μάτην κοπιάσουσιν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:5 ============ Isa 30:5 "Everyone will be ashamed because of a people who cannot profit them, Who are not for help or profit, but for shame and also for reproach." (nasb) Isa 30:5 They were all ashamed of a people who could not benefit them, Or be help or benefit, But a shame and also a reproach." (nkjv) Isa 30:5 aber sie müssen doch alle zu Schanden werden über dem Volk, das ihnen nicht nütze sein kann, weder zur Hilfe noch sonst zu Nutz, sondern nur zu Schande und Spott.(dhs) Isa 30:5 πρὸς λαόν ὃς οὐκ ὠφελήσει αὐτοὺς οὔτε εἰς βοήθειαν οὔτε εἰς ὠφέλειαν ἀλλὰ εἰς αἰσχύνην καὶ ὄνειδος (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:6 ============ Isa 30:6 The oracle concerning the beasts of the Negev. Through a land of distress and anguish, From where come lioness and lion, viper and flying serpent, They carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys And their treasures on camels' humps, To a people who cannot profit them; (nasb) Isa 30:6 The burden against the beasts of the South. Through a land of trouble and anguish, From which came the lioness and lion, The viper and fiery flying serpent, They will carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys, And their treasures on the humps of camels, To a people who shall not profit; (nkjv) Isa 30:6 Dies ist die Last über die Tiere, so gegen Mittag ziehen, da Löwen und Löwinnen sind, ja Ottern und feurige fliegende Drachen im Lande der Trübsal und Angst. Sie führen ihr Gut auf der Füllen Rücken und ihre Schätze auf der Kamele Höcker zu dem Volk, das ihnen nicht nütze sein kann.(dhs) Isa 30:6 ἡ ὅρασις τῶν τετραπόδων τῶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐν τῇ θλίψει καὶ τῇ στενοχωρίᾳ λέων καὶ σκύμνος λέοντος ἐκεῖθεν καὶ ἀσπίδες καὶ ἔκγονα ἀσπίδων πετομένων οἳ ἔφερον ἐπ᾽ ὄνων καὶ καμήλων τὸν πλοῦτον αὐτῶν πρὸς ἔθνος ὃ οὐκ ὠφελήσει αὐτοὺς εἰς βοήθειαν ἀλλὰ εἰς αἰσχύνην καὶ ὄνειδος (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:7 ============ Isa 30:7 Even Egypt, whose help is vain and empty. Therefore, I have called her "Rahab who has been exterminated." (nasb) Isa 30:7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose. Therefore I have called her Rahab-Hem-Shebeth. (nkjv) Isa 30:7 Denn Ägypten ist nichts, und ihr Helfen ist vergeblich. Darum sage ich von Ägypten also: Die Rahab wird still dazu sitzen.(dhs) Isa 30:7 Αἰγύπτιοι μάταια καὶ κενὰ ὠφελήσουσιν ὑμᾶς ἀπάγγειλον αὐτοῖς ὅτι ματαία ἡ παράκλησις ὑμῶν αὕτη (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:8 ============ Isa 30:8 Now go, write it on a tablet before them And inscribe it on a scroll, That it may serve in the time to come As a witness forever. (nasb) Isa 30:8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, And note it on a scroll, That it may be for time to come, Forever and ever: (nkjv) Isa 30:8 So gehe nun hin und schreib es ihnen vor auf eine Tafel und zeichne es in ein Buch, daß es bleibe für und für ewiglich.(dhs) Isa 30:8 νῦν οὖν καθίσας γράψον ἐπὶ πυξίου ταῦτα καὶ εἰς βιβλίον ὅτι ἔσται εἰς ἡμέρας καιρῶν ταῦτα καὶ ἕως εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:9 ============ Isa 30:9 For this is a rebellious people, false sons, Sons who refuse to listen To the instruction of the Lord; (nasb) Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the Lord; (nkjv) Isa 30:9 Denn es ist ein ungehorsames Volk und verlogene Kinder, die nicht hören wollen des HERRN Gesetz,(dhs) Isa 30:9 ὅτι λαὸς ἀπειθής ἐστιν υἱοὶ ψευδεῖς οἳ οὐκ ἠβούλοντο ἀκούειν τὸν νόμον τοῦ θεοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:10 ============ Isa 30:10 Who say to the seers, "You must not see visions"; And to the prophets, "You must not prophesy to us what is right, Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions. (nasb) Isa 30:10 Who say to the seers, "Do not see," And to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. (nkjv) Isa 30:10 sondern sagen zu den Sehern: Ihr sollt nichts sehen! und zu den Schauern: Ihr sollt uns nicht schauen die rechte Lehre; prediget uns aber sanft, schauet uns Täuscherei;(dhs) Isa 30:10 οἱ λέγοντες τοῖς προφήταις μὴ ἀναγγέλλετε ἡμῖν καὶ τοῖς τὰ ὁράματα ὁρῶσιν μὴ λαλεῖτε ἡμῖν ἀλλὰ ἡμῖν λαλεῖτε καὶ ἀναγγέλλετε ἡμῖν ἑτέραν πλάνησιν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:11 ============ Isa 30:11 "Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, Let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel." (nasb) Isa 30:11 Get out of the way, Turn aside from the path, Cause the Holy One of Israel To cease from before us." (nkjv) Isa 30:11 weichet vom Wege, gehet aus der Bahn; lasset den Heiligen Israels aufhören bei uns!(dhs) Isa 30:11 καὶ ἀποστρέψατε ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ ταύτης ἀφέλετε ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν τὸν τρίβον τοῦτον καὶ ἀφέλετε ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν τὸν ἅγιον τοῦ Ισραηλ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:12 ============ Isa 30:12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, "Since you have rejected this word And have put your trust in oppression and guile, and have relied on them, (nasb) Isa 30:12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel: "Because you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them, (nkjv) Isa 30:12 Darum spricht der Heilige Israels also: Weil ihr dies Wort verwerft und verlaßt euch auf Frevel und Mutwillen und trotzt darauf,(dhs) Isa 30:12 διὰ τοῦτο οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅτι ἠπειθήσατε τοῖς λόγοις τούτοις καὶ ἠλπίσατε ἐπὶ ψεύδει καὶ ὅτι ἐγόγγυσας καὶ πεποιθὼς ἐγένου ἐπὶ τῷ λόγῳ τούτῳ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:13 ============ Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity will be to you Like a breach about to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose collapse comes suddenly in an instant, (nasb) Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you Like a breach ready to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant. (nkjv) Isa 30:13 so soll euch solche Untugend sein wie ein Riß an einer hohen Mauer, wenn es beginnt zu rieseln, die plötzlich unversehens einfällt und zerschmettert,(dhs) Isa 30:13 διὰ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ ἁμαρτία αὕτη ὡς τεῖχος πῖπτον παραχρῆμα πόλεως ὀχυρᾶς ἑαλωκυίας ἧς παραχρῆμα πάρεστιν τὸ πτῶμα (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:14 ============ Isa 30:14 Whose collapse is like the smashing of a potter's jar, So ruthlessly shattered That a sherd will not be found among its pieces To take fire from a hearth Or to scoop water from a cistern." (nasb) Isa 30:14 And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, Which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments A shard to take fire from the hearth, Or to take water from the cistern." (nkjv) Isa 30:14 wie wenn ein Topf zerschmettert würde, den man zerstößt und nicht schont, also daß man von seinen Stücken nicht eine Scherbe findet, darin man Feuer hole vom Herd oder Wasser schöpfe aus einem Brunnen.(dhs) Isa 30:14 καὶ τὸ πτῶμα αὐτῆς ἔσται ὡς σύντριμμα ἀγγείου ὀστρακίνου ἐκ κεραμίου λεπτὰ ὥστε μὴ εὑρεῖν ἐν αὐτοῖς ὄστρακον ἐν ᾧ πῦρ ἀρεῖς καὶ ἐν ᾧ ἀποσυριεῖς ὕδωρ μικρόν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:15 ============ Isa 30:15 For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength." But you were not willing, (nasb) Isa 30:15 For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." But you would not, (nkjv) Isa 30:15 Denn so spricht der HERR HERR, der Heilige in Israel: Wenn ihr umkehrtet und stillebliebet, so würde euch geholfen; durch Stillesein und Hoffen würdet ihr stark sein. Aber ihr wollt nicht(dhs) Isa 30:15 οὕτω λέγει κύριος ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅταν ἀποστραφεὶς στενάξῃς τότε σωθήσῃ καὶ γνώσῃ ποῦ ἦσθα ὅτε ἐπεποίθεις ἐπὶ τοῖς ματαίοις ματαία ἡ ἰσχὺς ὑμῶν ἐγενήθη καὶ οὐκ ἠβούλεσθε ἀκούειν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:16 ============ Isa 30:16 And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses," Therefore you shall flee! "And we will ride on swift horses," Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift. (nasb) Isa 30:16 And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses"-- Therefore you shall flee! And, "We will ride on swift horses"-- Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift! (nkjv) Isa 30:16 und sprecht: "Nein, sondern auf Rossen wollen wir fliehen", darum werdet ihr flüchtig sein, "und auf Rennern wollen wir reiten", darum werden euch eure Verfolger übereilen.(dhs) Isa 30:16 ἀλλ᾽ εἴπατε ἐφ᾽ ἵππων φευξόμεθα διὰ τοῦτο φεύξεσθε καὶ εἴπατε ἐπὶ κούφοις ἀναβάται ἐσόμεθα διὰ τοῦτο κοῦφοι ἔσονται οἱ διώκοντες ὑμᾶς (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:17 ============ Isa 30:17 One thousand will flee at the threat of one man; You will flee at the threat of five, Until you are left as a flag on a mountain top And as a signal on a hill. (nasb) Isa 30:17 One thousand shall flee at the threat of one, At the threat of five you shall flee, Till you are left as a pole on top of a mountain And as a banner on a hill. (nkjv) Isa 30:17 Denn euer tausend werden fliehen vor eines einzigen Schelten; ja vor fünfen werdet ihr alle fliehen, bis daß ihr übrigbleibet wie ein Mastbaum oben auf einem Berge und wie ein Panier oben auf einem Hügel.(dhs) Isa 30:17 διὰ φωνὴν ἑνὸς φεύξονται χίλιοι καὶ διὰ φωνὴν πέντε φεύξονται πολλοί ἕως ἂν καταλειφθῆτε ὡς ἱστὸς ἐπ᾽ ὄρους καὶ ὡς σημαίαν φέρων ἐπὶ βουνοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:18 ============ Isa 30:18 Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. (nasb) Isa 30:18 Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him. (nkjv) Isa 30:18 Darum harret der HERR, daß er euch gnädig sei, und hat sich aufgemacht, daß er sich euer erbarme; denn der HERR ist ein Gott des Gerichts. Wohl allen, die sein harren!(dhs) Isa 30:18 καὶ πάλιν μενεῖ ὁ θεὸς τοῦ οἰκτιρῆσαι ὑμᾶς καὶ διὰ τοῦτο ὑψωθήσεται τοῦ ἐλεῆσαι ὑμᾶς διότι κριτὴς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐστιν καὶ ποῦ καταλείψετε τὴν δόξαν ὑμῶν μακάριοι οἱ ἐμμένοντες ἐν αὐτῷ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:19 ============ Isa 30:19 O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you. (nasb) Isa 30:19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; You shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you. (nkjv) Isa 30:19 Denn das Volk Zions wird zu Jerusalem wohnen. Du wirst nicht weinen: er wird dir gnädig sein, wenn du rufst; er wird dir antworten, sobald er's hört.(dhs) Isa 30:19 διότι λαὸς ἅγιος ἐν Σιων οἰκήσει καὶ Ιερουσαλημ κλαυθμῷ ἔκλαυσεν ἐλέησόν με ἐλεήσει σε τὴν φωνὴν τῆς κραυγῆς σου ἡνίκα εἶδεν ἐπήκουσέν σου (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:20 ============ Isa 30:20 Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. (nasb) Isa 30:20 And though the Lord gives you The bread of adversity and the water of affliction, Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers. (nkjv) Isa 30:20 Und der HERR wird euch in Trübsal Brot und in Ängsten Wasser geben. Und deine Lehrer werden sich nicht mehr verbergen müssen; sondern deine Augen werden deine Lehrer sehen,(dhs) Isa 30:20 καὶ δώσει κύριος ὑμῖν ἄρτον θλίψεως καὶ ὕδωρ στενόν καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ ἐγγίσωσίν σοι οἱ πλανῶντές σε ὅτι οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου ὄψονται τοὺς πλανῶντάς σε (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:21 ============ Isa 30:21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left. (nasb) Isa 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. (nkjv) Isa 30:21 und deine Ohren werden hören hinter dir her das Wort sagen also: dies ist der Weg; den gehet, sonst weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken!(dhs) Isa 30:21 καὶ τὰ ὦτά σου ἀκούσονται τοὺς λόγους τῶν ὀπίσω σε πλανησάντων οἱ λέγοντες αὕτη ἡ ὁδός πορευθῶμεν ἐν αὐτῇ εἴτε δεξιὰ εἴτε ἀριστερά (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:22 ============ Isa 30:22 And you will defile your graven images overlaid with silver, and your molten images plated with gold. You will scatter them as an impure thing, and say to them, "Be gone!" (nasb) Isa 30:22 You will also defile the covering of your graven images of silver, And the ornament of your molded images of gold. You will throw them away as an unclean thing; You will say to them, "Get away!" (nkjv) Isa 30:22 Und ihr werdet entweihem eure übersilberten Götzen und die goldenen Kleider eurer Bilder und werdet sie wegwerfen wie einen Unflat und zu ihnen sagen: Hinaus!(dhs) Isa 30:22 καὶ ἐξαρεῖς τὰ εἴδωλα τὰ περιηργυρωμένα καὶ τὰ περικεχρυσωμένα λεπτὰ ποιήσεις καὶ λικμήσεις ὡς ὕδωρ ἀποκαθημένης καὶ ὡς κόπρον ὤσεις αὐτά (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:23 ============ Isa 30:23 Then He will give you rain for the seed which you will sow in the ground, and bread from the yield of the ground, and it will be rich and plenteous; on that day your livestock will graze in a roomy pasture. (nasb) Isa 30:23 Then He will give the rain for your seed With which you sow the ground, And bread of the increase of the earth; It will be fat and plentiful. In that day your cattle will feed In large pastures. (nkjv) Isa 30:23 So wird er deinen Samen, den du auf den Acker gesät hast, Regen geben und Brot von des Ackers Ertrag, und desselben volle Genüge. Und dein Vieh wird zu der Zeit weiden in einer weiten Aue.(dhs) Isa 30:23 τότε ἔσται ὁ ὑετὸς τῷ σπέρματι τῆς γῆς σου καὶ ὁ ἄρτος τοῦ γενήματος τῆς γῆς σου ἔσται πλησμονὴ καὶ λιπαρός καὶ βοσκηθήσεταί σου τὰ κτήνη τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ τόπον πίονα καὶ εὐρύχωρον (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:24 ============ Isa 30:24 Also the oxen and the donkeys which work the ground will eat salted fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and fork. (nasb) Isa 30:24 Likewise the oxen and the young donkeys that work the ground Will eat cured fodder, Which has been winnowed with the shovel and fan. (nkjv) Isa 30:24 Die Ochsen und Füllen, so den Acker bauen, werden gemengtes Futter essen, welches geworfelt ist mit der Wurfschaufel und Wanne.(dhs) Isa 30:24 οἱ ταῦροι ὑμῶν καὶ οἱ βόες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν γῆν φάγονται ἄχυρα ἀναπεποιημένα ἐν κριθῇ λελικμημένα (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:25 ============ Isa 30:25 On every lofty mountain and on every high hill there will be streams running with water on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. (nasb) Isa 30:25 There will be on every high mountain And on every high hill Rivers and streams of waters, In the day of the great slaughter, When the towers fall. (nkjv) Isa 30:25 Und es werden auf allen großen Bergen und auf allen großen Hügeln zerteilte Wasserströme gehen zur Zeit der großen Schlacht, wenn die Türme fallen werden.(dhs) Isa 30:25 καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ παντὸς ὄρους ὑψηλοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ παντὸς βουνοῦ μετεώρου ὕδωρ διαπορευόμενον ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ὅταν ἀπόλωνται πολλοὶ καὶ ὅταν πέσωσιν πύργοι (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:26 ============ Isa 30:26 The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the Lord binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted. (nasb) Isa 30:26 Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, And the light of the sun will be sevenfold, As the light of seven days, In the day that the Lord binds up the bruise of His people And heals the stroke of their wound. (nkjv) Isa 30:26 Und des Mondes Schein wird sein wie der Sonne Schein, und der Sonne Schein wird siebenmal heller sein denn jetzt, zu der Zeit, wenn der HERR den Schaden seines Volks verbinden und seine Wunden heilen wird.(dhs) Isa 30:26 καὶ ἔσται τὸ φῶς τῆς σελήνης ὡς τὸ φῶς τοῦ ἡλίου καὶ τὸ φῶς τοῦ ἡλίου ἔσται ἑπταπλάσιον ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὅταν ἰάσηται κύριος τὸ σύντριμμα τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν ὀδύνην τῆς πληγῆς σου ἰάσεται (lxx) ======= Isaiah 30:27 ============ Isa 30:27 Behold, the name of the Lord comes from a remote place; Burning is His anger and dense is His smoke; His lips are filled with indignation And His tongue is like a consuming fire; (nasb) Isa 30:27 Behold, the name of the Lord comes from afar, Burning with His anger, And His burden is heavy; His lips are full of indignation, And His tongue like a devouring fire. (nkjv) Isa 30:27 Siehe, des HERRN Name kommt von fern!
