Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 56:1 ============ Isa 56:1 Thus says the Lord, "Preserve justice and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come And My righteousness to be revealed. (nasb) Isa 56:1 Thus says the Lord: "Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed. (nkjv) Isa 56:1 So spricht der HERR: Haltet das Recht und tut Gerechtigkeit; denn mein Heil ist nahe, daß es komme, und meine Gerechtigkeit, daß sie offenbart werde.(dhs) Isa 56:1 τάδε λέγει κύριος φυλάσσεσθε κρίσιν ποιήσατε δικαιοσύνην ἤγγισεν γὰρ τὸ σωτήριόν μου παραγίνεσθαι καὶ τὸ ἔλεός μου ἀποκαλυφθῆναι (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:2 ============ Isa 56:2 "How blessed is the man who does this, And the son of man who takes hold of it; Who keeps from profaning the sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil." (nasb) Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man who does this, And the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil." (nkjv) Isa 56:2 Wohl dem Menschen, der solches tut, und dem Menschenkind, der es festhält, daß er den Sabbat halte und nicht entheilige und halte seine Hand, daß er kein Arges tue!(dhs) Isa 56:2 μακάριος ἀνὴρ ὁ ποιῶν ταῦτα καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὁ ἀντεχόμενος αὐτῶν καὶ φυλάσσων τὰ σάββατα μὴ βεβηλοῦν καὶ διατηρῶν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ μὴ ποιεῖν ἀδίκημα (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:3 ============ Isa 56:3 Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say, "The Lord will surely separate me from His people." Nor let the eunuch say, "Behold, I am a dry tree." (nasb) Isa 56:3 Do not let the son of the foreigner Who has joined himself to the Lord Speak, saying, "The Lord has utterly separated me from His people"; Nor let the eunuch say, "Here I am, a dry tree." (nkjv) Isa 56:3 Und der Fremde, der zum HERRN sich getan hat, soll nicht sagen: Der HERR wird mich scheiden von seinem Volk; und der Verschnittene soll nicht sagen: Siehe, ich bin ein dürrer Baum.(dhs) Isa 56:3 μὴ λεγέτω ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ προσκείμενος πρὸς κύριον ἀφοριεῖ με ἄρα κύριος ἀπὸ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ μὴ λεγέτω ὁ εὐνοῦχος ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι ξύλον ξηρόν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:4 ============ Isa 56:4 For thus says the Lord, "To the eunuchs who keep My sabbaths, And choose what pleases Me, And hold fast My covenant, (nasb) Isa 56:4 For thus says the Lord: "To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, And choose what pleases Me, And hold fast My covenant, (nkjv) Isa 56:4 Denn so spricht der HERR von den Verschnittenen, welche meine Sabbate halten und erwählen, was mir wohl gefällt, und meinen Bund fest fassen:(dhs) Isa 56:4 τάδε λέγει κύριος τοῖς εὐνούχοις ὅσοι ἂν φυλάξωνται τὰ σάββατά μου καὶ ἐκλέξωνται ἃ ἐγὼ θέλω καὶ ἀντέχωνται τῆς διαθήκης μου (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:5 ============ Isa 56:5 To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial, And a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which will not be cut off. (nkjv) Isa 56:5 Ich will ihnen in meinem Hause und in meinen Mauern einen Ort und einen Namen geben, besser denn Söhne und Töchter; einen ewigen Namen will ich ihnen geben, der nicht vergehen soll.(dhs) Isa 56:5 δώσω αὐτοῖς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου καὶ ἐν τῷ τείχει μου τόπον ὀνομαστὸν κρείττω υἱῶν καὶ θυγατέρων ὄνομα αἰώνιον δώσω αὐτοῖς καὶ οὐκ ἐκλείψει (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:6 ============ Isa 56:6 "Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, To minister to Him, and to love the name of the Lord, To be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the sabbath And holds fast My covenant; (nasb) Isa 56:6 "Also the sons of the foreigner Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, And to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants-- Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And holds fast My covenant-- (nkjv) Isa 56:6 Und die Fremden, die sich zum HERR getan haben, daß sie ihm dienen und seinen Namen lieben, auf daß sie seine Knechte seien, ein jeglicher, der den Sabbat hält, daß er ihn nicht entweihe, und meinen Bund festhält,(dhs) Isa 56:6 καὶ τοῖς ἀλλογενέσι τοῖς προσκειμένοις κυρίῳ δουλεύειν αὐτῷ καὶ ἀγαπᾶν τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου τοῦ εἶναι αὐτῷ εἰς δούλους καὶ δούλας καὶ πάντας τοὺς φυλασσομένους τὰ σάββατά μου μὴ βεβηλοῦν καὶ ἀντεχομένους τῆς διαθήκης μου (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:7 ============ Isa 56:7 Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples." (nkjv) Isa 56:7 die will ich zu meinem heiligen Berge bringen und will sie erfreuen in meinem Bethause, und ihre Opfer und Brandopfer sollen mir angenehm sein auf meinem Altar; denn mein Haus wird heißen ein Bethaus allen Völkern.(dhs) Isa 56:7 εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιόν μου καὶ εὐφρανῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τῆς προσευχῆς μου τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ θυσίαι αὐτῶν ἔσονται δεκταὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου μου ὁ γὰρ οἶκός μου οἶκος προσευχῆς κληθήσεται πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:8 ============ Isa 56:8 The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares, "Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered." (nasb) Isa 56:8 The Lord God, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, "Yet I will gather to him Others besides those who are gathered to him." (nkjv) Isa 56:8 Der HERR HERR, der die Verstoßenen aus Israel sammelt, spricht: Ich will noch mehr zu dem Haufen derer, die versammelt sind, sammeln.(dhs) Isa 56:8 εἶπεν κύριος ὁ συνάγων τοὺς διεσπαρμένους Ισραηλ ὅτι συνάξω ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν συναγωγήν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:9 ============ Isa 56:9 All you beasts of the field, All you beasts in the forest, Come to eat. (nkjv) Isa 56:9 Alle Tiere auf dem Felde, kommet, und fresset, ja alle Tiere im Walde!(dhs) Isa 56:9 πάντα τὰ θηρία τὰ ἄγρια δεῦτε φάγετε πάντα τὰ θηρία τοῦ δρυμοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:10 ============ Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber; (nasb) Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind, They are all ignorant; They are all dumb dogs, They cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. (nkjv) Isa 56:10 Alle ihre Wächter sind blind, sie wissen nichts; stumme Hunde sind sie, die nicht strafen können, sind faul, liegen und schlafen gerne.(dhs) Isa 56:10 ἴδετε ὅτι πάντες ἐκτετύφλωνται οὐκ ἔγνωσαν φρονῆσαι πάντες κύνες ἐνεοί οὐ δυνήσονται ὑλακτεῖν ἐνυπνιαζόμενοι κοίτην φιλοῦντες νυστάξαι (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:11 ============ Isa 56:11 And the dogs are greedy, they are not satisfied. And they are shepherds who have no understanding; They have all turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, to the last one. (nasb) Isa 56:11 Yes, they are greedy dogs Which never have enough. And they are shepherds Who cannot understand; They all look to their own way, Every one for his own gain, From his own territory. (nkjv) Isa 56:11 Es sind aber gierige Hunde, die nimmer satt werden können. Sie, die Hirten wissen keinen Verstand; ein jeglicher sieht auf seinen Weg, ein jeglicher geizt für sich in seinem Stande.(dhs) Isa 56:11 καὶ οἱ κύνες ἀναιδεῖς τῇ ψυχῇ οὐκ εἰδότες πλησμονήν καί εἰσιν πονηροὶ οὐκ εἰδότες σύνεσιν πάντες ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν ἐξηκολούθησαν ἕκαστος κατὰ τὸ ἑαυτοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 56:12 ============ Isa 56:12 "Come," they say, "let us get wine, and let us drink heavily of strong drink; And tomorrow will be like today, only more so." (nasb) Isa 56:12 "Come," one says, "I will bring wine, And we will fill ourselves with intoxicating drink; Tomorrow will be as today, And much more abundant."
