(nasb) Amo 1:2 And he said: "The Lord roars from Zion, And utters His voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds mourn, And the top of Carmel withers." (nkjv) Amo 1:2 Und er sprach: Der HERR wird aus Zion brüllen und seine Stimme aus Jerusalem hören lassen, daß die Auen der Hirten jämmerlich stehen werden und der Karmel oben verdorren wird.(dhs) Amo 1:2 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ἐκ Σιων ἐφθέγξατο καὶ ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ ἔδωκεν φωνὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπένθησαν αἱ νομαὶ τῶν ποιμένων καὶ ἐξηράνθη ἡ κορυφὴ τοῦ Καρμήλου (lxx) ======= Amos 1:3 ============ Amo 1:3 Thus says the Lord, "For three transgressions of Damascus and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they threshed Gilead with implements of sharp iron. (nkjv) Amo 1:3 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen der Damasker will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie Gilead mit eisernen Zacken gedroschen haben;(dhs) Amo 1:3 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Δαμασκοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἔπριζον πρίοσιν σιδηροῖς τὰς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσας τῶν ἐν Γαλααδ (lxx) ======= Amos 1:4 ============ Amo 1:4 "So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael And it will consume the citadels of Ben-hadad. (nasb) Amo 1:4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad. (nkjv) Amo 1:4 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken in das Haus Hasaels, das soll die Paläste Benhadads verzehren.(dhs) Amo 1:4 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς τὸν οἶκον Αζαηλ καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια υἱοῦ Αδερ (lxx) ======= Amos 1:5 ============ Amo 1:5 "I will also break the gate bar of Damascus, And cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, And him who holds the scepter, from Beth-eden; So the people of Aram will go exiled to Kir," Says the Lord. (nasb) Amo 1:5 I will also break the gate bar of Damascus, And cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Aven, And the one who holds the scepter from Beth Eden. The people of Syria shall go captive to Kir," Says the Lord. (nkjv) Amo 1:5 Und ich will die Riegel zu Damaskus zerbrechen und die Einwohner auf dem Felde Aven samt dem, der das Zepter hält, aus dem Lusthause ausrotten, daß das Volk in Syrien soll gen Kir weggeführt werden, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Amo 1:5 καὶ συντρίψω μοχλοὺς Δαμασκοῦ καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω κατοικοῦντας ἐκ πεδίου Ων καὶ κατακόψω φυλὴν ἐξ ἀνδρῶν Χαρραν καὶ αἰχμαλωτευθήσεται λαὸς Συρίας ἐπίκλητος λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Amos 1:6 ============ Amo 1:6 Thus says the Lord, "For three transgressions of Gaza and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they deported an entire population To deliver it up to Edom. (nasb) Amo 1:6 Thus says the Lord: "For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they took captive the whole captivity To deliver them up to Edom. (nkjv) Amo 1:6 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevels willen Gazas will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gefangenen alle weggeführt und an Edom überantwortet haben;(dhs) Amo 1:6 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Γάζης καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτούς ἕνεκεν τοῦ αἰχμαλωτεῦσαι αὐτοὺς αἰχμαλωσίαν τοῦ Σαλωμων τοῦ συγκλεῖσαι εἰς τὴν Ιδουμαίαν (lxx) ======= Amos 1:7 ============ Amo 1:7 "So I will send fire upon the wall of Gaza And it will consume her citadels. (nasb) Amo 1:7 But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, Which shall devour its palaces. (nkjv) Amo 1:7 sondern ich will ein Feuer in die Mauern zu Gaza schicken, das soll ihre Paläste verzehren.(dhs) Amo 1:7 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη Γάζης καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Amos 1:8 ============ Amo 1:8 "I will also cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, And him who holds the scepter, from Ashkelon; I will even unleash My power upon Ekron, And the remnant of the Philistines will perish," Says the Lord God. (nasb) Amo 1:8 I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, And the one who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn My hand against Ekron, And the remnant of the Philistines shall perish," Says the Lord God. (nkjv) Amo 1:8 Und ich will die Einwohner aus Asdod und den, der das Zepter hält, aus Askalon ausrotten und meine Hand wider Ekron kehren, daß umkommen soll, was von den Philistern noch übrig ist, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Amo 1:8 καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω κατοικοῦντας ἐξ Ἀζώτου καὶ ἐξαρθήσεται φυλὴ ἐξ Ἀσκαλῶνος καὶ ἐπάξω τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ Ακκαρων καὶ ἀπολοῦνται οἱ κατάλοιποι τῶν ἀλλοφύλων λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Amos 1:9 ============ Amo 1:9 Thus says the Lord, "For three transgressions of Tyre and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they delivered up an entire population to Edom And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood. (nasb) Amo 1:9 Thus says the Lord: "For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood. (nasb) Amo 1:11 Thus says the Lord: "For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because he pursued his brother with the sword, And cast off all pity; His anger tore perpetually, And he kept his wrath forever. (nkjv) Amo 1:11 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Edoms will ich sein nicht schonen, darum daß er seinen Bruder mit dem Schwert verfolgt hat und daß er alles Erbarmen von sich getan und immer wütet in seinem Zorn und seinem Grimm ewig hält;(dhs) Amo 1:11 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις τῆς Ιδουμαίας καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτούς ἕνεκα τοῦ διῶξαι αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐλυμήνατο μήτραν ἐπὶ γῆς καὶ ἥρπασεν εἰς μαρτύριον φρίκην αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ ὅρμημα αὐτοῦ ἐφύλαξεν εἰς νεῖκος (lxx) ======= Amos 1:12 ============ Amo 1:12 "So I will send fire upon Teman And it will consume the citadels of Bozrah." (nasb) Amo 1:12 But I will send a fire upon Teman, Which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah." (nkjv) Amo 1:12 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken gen Theman, das soll die Paläste zu Bozra verzehren.(dhs) Amo 1:12 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς Θαιμαν καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια τειχέων αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Amos 1:13 ============ Amo 1:13 Thus says the Lord, "For three transgressions of the sons of Ammon and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead In order to enlarge their borders. (nasb) Amo 1:13 Thus says the Lord: "For three transgressions of the people of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they ripped open the women with child in Gilead, That they might enlarge their territory. (nkjv) Amo 1:13 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen der Kinder Ammon will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Schwangeren in Gilead zerrissen haben, damit sie ihre Grenze weiter machten;(dhs) Amo 1:13 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις υἱῶν Αμμων καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἀνέσχιζον τὰς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσας τῶν Γαλααδιτῶν ὅπως ἐμπλατύνωσιν τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Amos 1:14 ============ Amo 1:14 "So I will kindle a fire on the wall of Rabbah And it will consume her citadels Amid war cries on the day of battle, And a storm on the day of tempest. (nasb) Amo 1:14 But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, And it shall devour its palaces, Amid shouting in the day of battle, And a tempest in the day of the whirlwind. (nkjv) Amo 1:14 sondern ich will ein Feuer anzünden in den Mauern Rabbas, das soll ihre Paläste verzehren, wenn man rufen wird zur Zeit des Streits und wenn das Wetter kommen wird zur Zeit des Sturms.(dhs) Amo 1:14 καὶ ἀνάψω πῦρ ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη Ραββα καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια αὐτῆς μετὰ κραυγῆς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ πολέμου καὶ σεισθήσεται ἐν ἡμέρᾳ συντελείας αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Amos 1:15 ============ Amo 1:15 "Their king will go into exile, He and his princes together," says the Lord. (nasb) Amo 1:15 Their king shall go into captivity, He and his princes together," Says the Lord.
