(nkjv) Nah 3:1 Weh der mörderischen Stadt, die voll Lügen und Räuberei ist und von ihrem Rauben nicht lassen will!(dhs) Nah 3:1 ὦ πόλις αἱμάτων ὅλη ψευδὴς ἀδικίας πλήρης οὐ ψηλαφηθήσεται θήρα (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:2 ============ Nah 3:2 The noise of the whip, The noise of the rattling of the wheel, Galloping horses And bounding chariots! (nasb) Nah 3:2 The noise of a whip And the noise of rattling wheels, Of galloping horses, Of clattering chariots! (nkjv) Nah 3:2 Denn da wird man hören die Geißeln klappen und die Räder rasseln und die Rosse jagen und die Wagen rollen.(dhs) Nah 3:2 φωνὴ μαστίγων καὶ φωνὴ σεισμοῦ τροχῶν καὶ ἵππου διώκοντος καὶ ἅρματος ἀναβράσσοντος (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:3 ============ Nah 3:3 Horsemen charging, Swords flashing, spears gleaming, Many slain, a mass of corpses, And countless dead bodies-- They stumble over the dead bodies! (nasb) Nah 3:3 Horsemen charge with bright sword and glittering spear. There is a multitude of slain, A great number of bodies, Countless corpses-- They stumble over the corpses-- (nkjv) Nah 3:3 Reiter rücken herauf mit glänzenden Schwertern und blitzenden Spießen. Da liegen viel Erschlagene und große Haufen Leichname, daß ihrer keine Zahl ist und man über die Leichname fallen muß.(dhs) Nah 3:3 καὶ ἱππέως ἀναβαίνοντος καὶ στιλβούσης ῥομφαίας καὶ ἐξαστραπτόντων ὅπλων καὶ πλήθους τραυματιῶν καὶ βαρείας πτώσεως καὶ οὐκ ἦν πέρας τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐτῆς καὶ ἀσθενήσουσιν ἐν τοῖς σώμασιν αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:4 ============ Nah 3:4 All because of the many harlotries of the harlot, The charming one, the mistress of sorceries, Who sells nations by her harlotries And families by her sorceries. (nasb) Nah 3:4 Because of the multitude of harlotries of the seductive harlot, The mistress of sorceries, Who sells nations through her harlotries, And families through her sorceries. (nkjv) Nah 3:4 Das alles um der Hurerei willen der schönen, lieben Hure, die mit Zauberei umgeht, die mit ihrer Hurerei die Heiden und mit ihrer Zauberei Land und Leute zu Knechten gemacht hat.(dhs) Nah 3:4 ἀπὸ πλήθους πορνείας πόρνη καλὴ καὶ ἐπιχαρὴς ἡγουμένη φαρμάκων ἡ πωλοῦσα ἔθνη ἐν τῇ πορνείᾳ αὐτῆς καὶ φυλὰς ἐν τοῖς φαρμάκοις αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:5 ============ Nah 3:5 "Behold, I am against you," declares the Lord of hosts; "And I will lift up your skirts over your face, And show to the nations your nakedness And to the kingdoms your disgrace. (nkjv) Nah 3:5 Siehe, ich will an dich, spricht der HERR Zebaoth; ich will dir deine Säume aufdecken unter dein Angesicht und will den Heiden deine Blöße und den Königreichen deine Schande zeigen.(dhs) Nah 3:5 ἰδοῦ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σέ λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ καὶ ἀποκαλύψω τὰ ὀπίσω σου ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπόν σου καὶ δείξω ἔθνεσιν τὴν αἰσχύνην σου καὶ βασιλείαις τὴν ἀτιμίαν σου (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:6 ============ Nah 3:6 "I will throw filth on you And make you vile, And set you up as a spectacle. (nasb) Nah 3:6 I will cast abominable filth upon you, Make you vile, And make you a spectacle. (nkjv) Nah 3:6 Ich will dich ganz greulich machen und dich schänden und ein Schauspiel aus dir machen,(dhs) Nah 3:6 καὶ ἐπιρρίψω ἐπὶ σὲ βδελυγμὸν κατὰ τὰς ἀκαθαρσίας σου καὶ θήσομαί σε εἰς παράδειγμα (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:7 ============ Nah 3:7 "And it will come about that all who see you Will shrink from you and say, 'Nineveh is devastated! Who will grieve for her?' Where will I seek comforters for you?" (nasb) Nah 3:7 It shall come to pass that all who look upon you Will flee from you, and say, 'Nineveh is laid waste! Who will bemoan her?' Where shall I seek comforters for you?" (nkjv) Nah 3:7 daß alle, die dich sehen, vor dir fliehen und sagen sollen: Ninive ist zerstört; wer will Mitleid mit ihr haben? Und wo soll ich dir Tröster suchen?(dhs) Nah 3:7 καὶ ἔσται πᾶς ὁ ὁρῶν σε ἀποπηδήσεται ἀπὸ σοῦ καὶ ἐρεῖ Δειλαία Νινευη τίς στενάξει αὐτήν πόθεν ζητήσω παράκλησιν αὐτῇ (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:8 ============ Nah 3:8 Are you better than No-amon, Which was situated by the waters of the Nile, With water surrounding her, Whose rampart was the sea, Whose wall consisted of the sea? (nasb) Nah 3:8 Are you better than No Amon That was situated by the River, That had the waters around her, Whose rampart was the sea, Whose wall was the sea? (nkjv) Nah 3:8 Meinst du, du seist besser denn die Stadt No-Amon, die da lag an den Wassern und ringsumher Wasser hatte, deren Mauern und Feste war das Meer?(dhs) Nah 3:8 ἑτοίμασαι μερίδα ἅρμοσαι χορδήν ἑτοίμασαι μερίδα Αμων ἡ κατοικοῦσα ἐν ποταμοῖς ὕδωρ κύκλῳ αὐτῆς ἧς ἡ ἀρχὴ θάλασσα καὶ ὕδωρ τὰ τείχη αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:9 ============ Nah 3:9 Ethiopia was her might, And Egypt too, without limits. Put and Lubim were among her helpers. (nasb) Nah 3:9 Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, And it was boundless; Put and Lubim were your helpers. (nkjv) Nah 3:9 Mohren und Ägypten war ihre unzählige Macht, Put und Libyen waren ihre Hilfe.(dhs) Nah 3:9 καὶ Αἰθιοπία ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτῆς καὶ Αἴγυπτος καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν πέρας τῆς φυγῆς καὶ Λίβυες ἐγένοντο βοηθοὶ αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:10 ============ Nah 3:10 Yet she became an exile, She went into captivity; Also her small children were dashed to pieces At the head of every street; They cast lots for her honorable men, And all her great men were bound with fetters. (nkjv) Nah 3:10 Doch hat sie müssen vertrieben werden und gefangen wegziehen; und sind ihre Kinder auf allen Gassen zerschmettert worden, und um ihre Edlen warf man das Los, und alle ihre Gewaltigen wurden in Ketten und Fesseln gelegt.(dhs) Nah 3:10 καὶ αὐτὴ εἰς μετοικεσίαν πορεύσεται αἰχμάλωτος καὶ τὰ νήπια αὐτῆς ἐδαφιοῦσιν ἐπ᾽ ἀρχὰς πασῶν τῶν ὁδῶν αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἔνδοξα αὐτῆς βαλοῦσιν κλήρους καὶ πάντες οἱ μεγιστᾶνες αὐτῆς δεθήσονται χειροπέδαις (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:11 ============ Nah 3:11 You too will become drunk, You will be hidden. You too will search for a refuge from the enemy. (nasb) Nah 3:11 You also will be drunk; You will be hidden; You also will seek refuge from the enemy. (nkjv) Nah 3:11 Also mußt du auch trunken werden und dich verbergen und eine Feste suchen vor dem Feinde.(dhs) Nah 3:11 καὶ σὺ μεθυσθήσῃ καὶ ἔσῃ ὑπερεωραμένη καὶ σὺ ζητήσεις σεαυτῇ στάσιν ἐξ ἐχθρῶν (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:12 ============ Nah 3:12 All your fortifications are fig trees with ripe fruit-- When shaken, they fall into the eater's mouth. (nasb) Nah 3:12 All your strongholds are fig trees with ripened figs: If they are shaken, They fall into the mouth of the eater. (nkjv) Nah 3:12 Alle deine festen Städte sind wie Feigenbäume mit reifen Feigen, die, wenn man sie schüttelt, dem ins Maul fallen, der sie essen will.(dhs) Nah 3:12 πάντα τὰ ὀχυρώματά σου συκαῖ σκοποὺς ἔχουσαι ἐὰν σαλευθῶσιν καὶ πεσοῦνται εἰς στόμα ἔσθοντος (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:13 ============ Nah 3:13 Behold, your people are women in your midst! The gates of your land are opened wide to your enemies; Fire consumes your gate bars. (nasb) Nah 3:13 Surely, your people in your midst are women! The gates of your land are wide open for your enemies; Fire shall devour the bars of your gates. (nkjv) Nah 3:13 Siehe, dein Volk soll zu Weibern werden in dir, und die Tore deines Landes sollen deinen Feinden geöffnet werden, und das Feuer soll deine Riegel verzehren.(dhs) Nah 3:13 ἰδοὺ ὁ λαός σου ὡς γυναῖκες ἐν σοί τοῖς ἐχθροῖς σου ἀνοιγόμεναι ἀνοιχθήσονται πύλαι τῆς γῆς σου καὶ καταφάγεται πῦρ τοὺς μοχλούς σου (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:14 ============ Nah 3:14 Draw for yourself water for the siege! Strengthen your fortifications! Go into the clay and tread the mortar! Take hold of the brick mold! (nasb) Nah 3:14 Draw your water for the siege! Fortify your strongholds! Go into the clay and tread the mortar! Make strong the brick kiln! (nkjv) Nah 3:14 Schöpfe dir Wasser, denn du wirst belagert werden! Bessere deine Festen! Gehe in den Ton und tritt den Lehm und mache starke Ziegel!(dhs) Nah 3:14 ὕδωρ περιοχῆς ἐπίσπασαι σεαυτῇ καὶ κατακράτησον τῶν ὀχυρωμάτων σου ἔμβηθι εἰς πηλὸν καὶ συμπατήθητι ἐν ἀχύροις κατακράτησον ὑπὲρ πλίνθον (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:15 ============ Nah 3:15 There fire will consume you, The sword will cut you down; It will consume you as the locust does. Multiply yourself like the creeping locust, Multiply yourself like the swarming locust. (nasb) Nah 3:15 There the fire will devour you, The sword will cut you off; It will eat you up like a locust. Make yourself many--like the locust! Make yourself many--like the swarming locusts! (nkjv) Nah 3:15 Aber das Feuer wir dich fressen und das Schwert töten; es wird dich abfressen wie ein Käfer, ob deines Volkes schon viel ist wie Käfer, ob deines Volkes schon viel ist wie Heuschrecken.(dhs) Nah 3:15 ἐκεῖ καταφάγεταί σε πῦρ ἐξολεθρεύσει σε ῥομφαία καταφάγεταί σε ὡς ἀκρίς καὶ βαρυνθήσῃ ὡς βροῦχος (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:16 ============ Nah 3:16 You have increased your traders more than the stars of heaven-- The creeping locust strips and flies away. (nasb) Nah 3:16 You have multiplied your merchants more than the stars of heaven. The locust plunders and flies away. (nkjv) Nah 3:16 Du hast mehr Händler, denn Sterne am Himmel sind; aber nun werden sie sich ausbreiten wie Käfer und davonfliegen.(dhs) Nah 3:16 ἐπλήθυνας τὰς ἐμπορίας σου ὑπὲρ τὰ ἄστρα τοῦ οὐρανοῦ βροῦχος ὥρμησεν καὶ ἐξεπετάσθη (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:17 ============ Nah 3:17 Your guardsmen are like the swarming locust. Your marshals are like hordes of grasshoppers Settling in the stone walls on a cold day. The sun rises and they flee, And the place where they are is not known. (nasb) Nah 3:17 Your commanders are like swarming locusts, And your generals like great grasshoppers, Which camp in the hedges on a cold day; When the sun rises they flee away, And the place where they are is not known. (nkjv) Nah 3:17 Deiner Herden sind so viel wie Heuschrecken und deiner Hauptleute wie Käfer, die sich an die Zäune lagern in den kalten Tagen; wenn aber die Sonne aufgeht, heben sie sich davon, daß man nicht weiß, wo sie bleiben.(dhs) Nah 3:17 ἐξήλατο ὡς ἀττέλεβος ὁ σύμμικτός σου ὡς ἀκρὶς ἐπιβεβηκυῖα ἐπὶ φραγμὸν ἐν ἡμέραις πάγους ὁ ἥλιος ἀνέτειλεν καὶ ἀφήλατο καὶ οὐκ ἔγνω τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς οὐαὶ αὐτοῖς (lxx) ======= Nahum 3:18 ============ Nah 3:18 Your shepherds are sleeping, O king of Assyria; Your nobles are lying down. Your people are scattered on the mountains And there is no one to regather them. (nasb) Nah 3:18 Your shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria; Your nobles rest in the dust. Your people are scattered on the mountains, And no one gathers them.
