Today's Date: ======= Zechariah 1:1 ============ Zec 1:1 In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the prophet, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo saying, (nasb) Zec 1:1 In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying, (nkjv) Zec 1:1 Im achten Monat des zweiten Jahres des Königs Darius geschah das Wort des HERR zu Sacharja, dem Sohn Berechjas, des Sohnes Iddos, dem Propheten, und sprach:(dhs) Zec 1:1 ἐν τῷ ὀγδόῳ μηνὶ ἔτους δευτέρου ἐπὶ Δαρείου ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ζαχαριαν τὸν τοῦ Βαραχιου υἱὸν Αδδω τὸν προφήτην λέγων (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:2 ============ Zec 1:2 "The Lord was very angry with your fathers. (nasb) Zec 1:2 "The Lord has been very angry with your fathers. (nkjv) Zec 1:2 Der HERR ist zornig gewesen über eure Väter.(dhs) Zec 1:2 ὠργίσθη κύριος ἐπὶ τοὺς πατέρας ὑμῶν ὀργὴν μεγάλην (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:3 ============ Zec 1:3 Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, "Return to Me," declares the Lord of hosts, "that I may return to you," says the Lord of hosts. (nasb) Zec 1:3 Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Return to Me," says the Lord of hosts, "and I will return to you," says the Lord of hosts. (nkjv) Zec 1:3 Und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Kehret euch zu mir, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, so will ich mich zu euch kehren, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.(dhs) Zec 1:3 καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐπιστρέψατε πρός με καὶ ἐπιστραφήσομαι πρὸς ὑμᾶς λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:4 ============ Zec 1:4 "Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, "Return now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds."' But they did not listen or give heed to Me," declares the Lord. (nasb) Zec 1:4 Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds." ' But they did not hear nor heed Me," says the Lord. (nkjv) Zec 1:4 Seid nicht wie eure Väter, welchen die vorigen Propheten predigten und sprachen: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Kehret euch von euren bösen Wegen und von eurem bösen Tun! aber sie gehorchten nicht und achteten nicht auf mich, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Zec 1:4 καὶ μὴ γίνεσθε καθὼς οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν οἷς ἐνεκάλεσαν αὐτοῖς οἱ προφῆται οἱ ἔμπροσθεν λέγοντες τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἀποστρέψατε ἀπὸ τῶν ὁδῶν ὑμῶν τῶν πονηρῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἐπιτηδευμάτων ὑμῶν τῶν πονηρῶν καὶ οὐ προσέσχον τοῦ εἰσακοῦσαί μου λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:5 ============ Zec 1:5 "Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? (nasb) Zec 1:5 "Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? (nkjv) Zec 1:5 Wo sind nun eure Väter? Und die Propheten, leben sie auch noch?(dhs) Zec 1:5 οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν ποῦ εἰσιν καὶ οἱ προφῆται μὴ τὸν αἰῶνα ζήσονται (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:6 ============ Zec 1:6 But did not My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, overtake your fathers? Then they repented and said, 'As the Lord of hosts purposed to do to us in accordance with our ways and our deeds, so He has dealt with us.'"'" (nasb) Zec 1:6 Yet surely My words and My statutes, Which I commanded My servants the prophets, Did they not overtake your fathers? "So they returned and said: 'Just as the Lord of hosts determined to do to us, According to our ways and according to our deeds, So He has dealt with us.' " ' " (nkjv) Zec 1:6 Ist's aber nicht also, daß meine Worte und meine Rechte, die ich durch meine Knechte, die Propheten, gebot, haben eure Väter getroffen, daß sie haben müssen umkehren und sagen: Gleichwie der HERR Zebaoth vorhatte uns zu tun, wie wir gingen und taten, also hat er uns auch getan?(dhs) Zec 1:6 πλὴν τοὺς λόγους μου καὶ τὰ νόμιμά μου δέχεσθε ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι ἐν πνεύματί μου τοῖς δούλοις μου τοῖς προφήταις οἳ κατελάβοσαν τοὺς πατέρας ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν καὶ εἶπαν καθὼς παρατέτακται κύριος παντοκράτωρ τοῦ ποιῆσαι κατὰ τὰς ὁδοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ κατὰ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν οὕτως ἐποίησεν ὑμῖν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:7 ============ Zec 1:7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the prophet, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, as follows: (nasb) Zec 1:7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet: (nkjv) Zec 1:7 Am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des elften Monats, welcher ist der Monat Sebat, im zweiten Jahr des Königs Darius, geschah das Wort des HERRN zu Sacharja, dem Sohn Berechjas, des Sohnes Iddos dem Propheten, und sprach:(dhs) Zec 1:7 τῇ τετράδι καὶ εἰκάδι τῷ ἑνδεκάτῳ μηνί οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ μὴν Σαβατ ἐν τῷ δευτέρῳ ἔτει ἐπὶ Δαρείου ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ζαχαριαν τὸν τοῦ Βαραχιου υἱὸν Αδδω τὸν προφήτην λέγων (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:8 ============ Zec 1:8 I saw at night, and behold, a man was riding on a red horse, and he was standing among the myrtle trees which were in the ravine, with red, sorrel and white horses behind him. (nasb) Zec 1:8 I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and it stood among the myrtle trees in the hollow; and behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white. (nkjv) Zec 1:8 Ich sah bei der Nacht, und siehe, ein Mann saß auf einem roten Pferde, und er hielt unter den Myrten in der Aue, und hinter ihm waren rote, braune und weiße Pferde.(dhs) Zec 1:8 ἑώρακα τὴν νύκτα καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ἐπιβεβηκὼς ἐπὶ ἵππον πυρρόν καὶ οὗτος εἱστήκει ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν δύο ὀρέων τῶν κατασκίων καὶ ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ ἵπποι πυρροὶ καὶ ψαροὶ καὶ ποικίλοι καὶ λευκοί (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:9 ============ Zec 1:9 Then I said, "My lord, what are these?" And the angel who was speaking with me said to me, "I will show you what these are." (nasb) Zec 1:9 Then I said, "My lord, what are these?" So the angel who talked with me said to me, "I will show you what they are." (nkjv) Zec 1:9 Und ich sprach: Mein HERR, wer sind diese? Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, sprach zu mir: Ich will dir zeigen, wer diese sind.(dhs) Zec 1:9 καὶ εἶπα τί οὗτοι κύριε καὶ εἶπεν πρός με ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν ἐν ἐμοί ἐγὼ δείξω σοι τί ἐστιν ταῦτα (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:10 ============ Zec 1:10 And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These are those whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth." (nasb) Zec 1:10 And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth." (nkjv) Zec 1:10 Und der Mann, der unter den Myrten hielt, antwortete und sprach: Diese sind es, die der HERR ausgesandt hat, die Erde zu durchziehen.(dhs) Zec 1:10 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη ὁ ἀνὴρ ὁ ἐφεστηκὼς ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ὀρέων καὶ εἶπεν πρός με οὗτοί εἰσιν οὓς ἐξαπέσταλκεν κύριος τοῦ περιοδεῦσαι τὴν γῆν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:11 ============ Zec 1:11 So they answered the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees and said, "We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth is peaceful and quiet." (nasb) Zec 1:11 So they answered the Angel of the Lord, who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, "We have walked to and fro throughout the earth, and behold, all the earth is resting quietly." (nkjv) Zec 1:11 Sie aber antworteten dem Engel des HERRN, der unter den Myrten hielt, und sprachen: Wir haben die Erde durchzogen, und siehe, alle Länder sitzen still.(dhs) Zec 1:11 καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν τῷ ἀγγέλῳ κυρίου τῷ ἐφεστῶτι ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ὀρέων καὶ εἶπον περιωδεύκαμεν πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν καὶ ἰδοὺ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ κατοικεῖται καὶ ἡσυχάζει (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:12 ============ Zec 1:12 Then the angel of the Lord said, "O Lord of hosts, how long will You have no compassion for Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, with which You have been indignant these seventy years?" (nasb) Zec 1:12 Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said, "O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?" (nkjv) Zec 1:12 Da antwortete der Engel des HERRN und sprach: HERR Zebaoth, wie lange willst du denn dich nicht erbarmen über Jerusalem und über die Städte Juda's, über welche du zornig bist gewesen diese siebzig Jahre?(dhs) Zec 1:12 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου καὶ εἶπεν κύριε παντοκράτωρ ἕως τίνος οὐ μὴ ἐλεήσῃς τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὰς πόλεις Ιουδα ἃς ὑπερεῖδες τοῦτο ἑβδομηκοστὸν ἔτος (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:13 ============ Zec 1:13 The Lord answered the angel who was speaking with me with gracious words, comforting words. (nasb) Zec 1:13 And the Lord answered the angel who talked to me, with good and comforting words. (nkjv) Zec 1:13 Und der HERR antwortete dem Engel, der mit mir redete, freundliche Worte und tröstliche Worte.(dhs) Zec 1:13 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη κύριος παντοκράτωρ τῷ ἀγγέλῳ τῷ λαλοῦντι ἐν ἐμοὶ ῥήματα καλὰ καὶ λόγους παρακλητικούς (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:14 ============ Zec 1:14 So the angel who was speaking with me said to me, "Proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, "I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and Zion. (nasb) Zec 1:14 So the angel who spoke with me said to me, "Proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "I am zealous for Jerusalem And for Zion with great zeal. (nkjv) Zec 1:14 Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, sprach zu mir: Predige und sprich: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ich eifere um Jerusalem und Zion mit großem Eifer(dhs) Zec 1:14 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν ἐν ἐμοί ἀνάκραγε λέγων τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐζήλωκα τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὴν Σιων ζῆλον μέγαν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:15 ============ Zec 1:15 But I am very angry with the nations who are at ease; for while I was only a little angry, they furthered the disaster." (nasb) Zec 1:15 I am exceedingly angry with the nations at ease; For I was a little angry, And they helped--but with evil intent." (nkjv) Zec 1:15 und bin sehr zornig über die stolzen Heiden; denn ich war nur ein wenig zornig, sie aber halfen zum Verderben.(dhs) Zec 1:15 καὶ ὀργὴν μεγάλην ἐγὼ ὀργίζομαι ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη τὰ συνεπιτιθέμενα ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐγὼ μὲν ὠργίσθην ὀλίγα αὐτοὶ δὲ συνεπέθεντο εἰς κακά (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:16 ============ Zec 1:16 Therefore thus says the Lord, "I will return to Jerusalem with compassion; My house will be built in it," declares the Lord of hosts, "and a measuring line will be stretched over Jerusalem."' (nasb) Zec 1:16 'Therefore thus says the Lord: "I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it," says the Lord of hosts, "And a surveyor's line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem." ' (nkjv) Zec 1:16 Darum so spricht der HERR: Ich will mich wieder zu Jerusalem kehren mit Barmherzigkeit, und mein Haus soll darin gebaut werden, spricht der HERR Zebaoth; dazu soll die Zimmerschnur in Jerusalem gezogen werde.(dhs) Zec 1:16 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπιστρέψω ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἐν οἰκτιρμῷ καὶ ὁ οἶκός μου ἀνοικοδομηθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ μέτρον ἐκταθήσεται ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἔτι (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:17 ============ Zec 1:17 Again, proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, "My cities will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem."'" (nasb) Zec 1:17 "Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The Lord will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem." (nasb) Zec 1:18 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were four horns. (nkjv) Zec 1:18 Und ich hob meine Augen auf und sah, und siehe, da waren vier Hörner.(dhs) Zec 2:1 καὶ ἦρα τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ τέσσαρα κέρατα (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:19 ============ Zec 1:19 So I said to the angel who was speaking with me, "What are these?" And he answered me, "These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem." (nasb) Zec 1:19 And I said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these?" So he answered me, "These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem." (nkjv) Zec 1:19 Und ich sprach zu dem Engel, der mit mir redete: Wer sind diese? (nasb) Zec 1:20 Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. (nkjv) Zec 1:20 Und der HERR zeigte mir vier Schmiede.(dhs) Zec 1:20 καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι κύριος τέσσαρας τέκτονας (lxx) ======= Zechariah 1:21 ============ Zec 1:21 I said, "What are these coming to do?" And he said, "These are the horns which have scattered Judah so that no man lifts up his head; but these craftsmen have come to terrify them, to throw down the horns of the nations who have lifted up their horns against the land of Judah in order to scatter it." (nasb) Zec 1:21 And I said, "What are these coming to do?" So he said, "These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head; but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it." (nkjv) Zec 1:21 Da sprach ich: Was sollen die machen? Er sprach: Die Hörner, die Juda so zerstreut haben, daß niemand sein Haupt hat mögen aufheben, sie abzuschrecken sind diese gekommen, daß sie die Hörner der Heiden abstoßen, welche das Horn haben über das Land Juda gehoben, es zu zerstreuen.(dhs) Zec 1:21 καὶ εἶπα τί οὗτοι ἔρχονται ποιῆσαι καὶ εἶπεν πρός με ταῦτα τὰ κέρατα τὰ διασκορπίσαντα τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ τὸν Ισραηλ κατέαξαν καὶ οὐδεὶς αὐτῶν ἦρεν κεφαλήν καὶ εἰσῆλθον οὗτοι τοῦ ὀξῦναι αὐτὰ εἰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν τὰ τέσσαρα κέρατα τὰ ἔθνη τὰ ἐπαιρόμενα κέρας ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν κυρίου τοῦ διασκορπίσαι αὐτήν (lxx) top of the page
