Today's Date: ======= Zechariah 8:1 ============ Zec 8:1 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came, saying, (nasb) Zec 8:1 Again the word of the Lord of hosts came, saying, (nkjv) Zec 8:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Zec 8:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου παντοκράτορος λέγων (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:2 ============ Zec 8:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'I am exceedingly jealous for Zion, yes, with great wrath I am jealous for her.' (nasb) Zec 8:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; With great fervor I am zealous for her.' (nkjv) Zec 8:2 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ich eifere um Zion mit großem Eifer und eifere um sie in großem Zorn.(dhs) Zec 8:2 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐζήλωσα τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὴν Σιων ζῆλον μέγαν καὶ θυμῷ μεγάλῳ ἐζήλωσα αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:3 ============ Zec 8:3 Thus says the Lord, 'I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.' (nasb) Zec 8:3 "Thus says the Lord: 'I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the Lord of hosts, The Holy Mountain.' (nkjv) Zec 8:3 So spricht der HERR: Ich kehre mich wieder zu Zion und will zu Jerusalem wohnen, daß Jerusalem soll eine Stadt der Wahrheit heißen und der Berg des HERRN Zebaoth ein Berg der Heiligkeit.(dhs) Zec 8:3 τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ἐπιστρέψω ἐπὶ Σιων καὶ κατασκηνώσω ἐν μέσῳ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ κληθήσεται ἡ Ιερουσαλημ πόλις ἡ ἀληθινὴ καὶ τὸ ὄρος κυρίου παντοκράτορος ὄρος ἅγιον (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:4 ============ Zec 8:4 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of age. (nasb) Zec 8:4 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age. (nkjv) Zec 8:4 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Es sollen noch fürder wohnen in den Gassen zu Jerusalem alte Männer und Weiber und die an Stecken gehen vor großem Alter;(dhs) Zec 8:4 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἔτι καθήσονται πρεσβύτεροι καὶ πρεσβύτεραι ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις Ιερουσαλημ ἕκαστος τὴν ῥάβδον αὐτοῦ ἔχων ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ πλήθους ἡμερῶν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:5 ============ Zec 8:5 And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets.' (nasb) Zec 8:5 The streets of the city Shall be full of boys and girls Playing in its streets.' (nkjv) Zec 8:5 und der Stadt Gassen soll sein voll Knaben und Mädchen, die auf ihren Gassen spielen.(dhs) Zec 8:5 καὶ αἱ πλατεῖαι τῆς πόλεως πλησθήσονται παιδαρίων καὶ κορασίων παιζόντων ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:6 ============ Zec 8:6 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?'declares the Lord of hosts. (nasb) Zec 8:6 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, Will it also be marvelous in My eyes?' Says the Lord of hosts. (nkjv) Zec 8:6 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ist solches unmöglich vor den Augen dieses übrigen Volkes zu dieser Zeit, sollte es darum auch unmöglich sein vor meinen Augen? spricht der HERR Zebaoth.(dhs) Zec 8:6 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ διότι εἰ ἀδυνατήσει ἐνώπιον τῶν καταλοίπων τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις μὴ καὶ ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ ἀδυνατήσει λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:7 ============ Zec 8:7 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Behold, I am going to save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west; (nasb) Zec 8:7 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east And from the land of the west; (nkjv) Zec 8:7 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Siehe, ich will mein Volk erlösen vom Lande gegen Aufgang und vom Lande gegen Niedergang der Sonne;(dhs) Zec 8:7 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀνασῴζω τὸν λαόν μου ἀπὸ γῆς ἀνατολῶν καὶ ἀπὸ γῆς δυσμῶν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:8 ============ Zec 8:8 and I will bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness.' (nasb) Zec 8:8 I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.' (nkjv) Zec 8:8 und will sie herzubringen, daß sie zu Jerusalem wohnen; und sie sollen mein Volk sein, und ich will ihr Gott sein in Wahrheit und Gerechtigkeit.(dhs) Zec 8:8 καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς καὶ κατασκηνώσω ἐν μέσῳ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔσονταί μοι εἰς λαόν καὶ ἐγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτοῖς εἰς θεὸν ἐν ἀληθείᾳ καὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:9 ============ Zec 8:9 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Let your hands be strong, you who are listening in these days to these words from the mouth of the prophets, those who spoke in the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, to the end that the temple might be built. (nasb) Zec 8:9 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Let your hands be strong, You who have been hearing in these days These words by the mouth of the prophets, Who spoke in the day the foundation was laid For the house of the Lord of hosts, That the temple might be built. (nkjv) Zec 8:9 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Stärket eure Hände, die ihr höret diese Worte zu dieser Zeit durch der Propheten Mund, des Tages, da der Grund gelegt ist an des HERRN Zebaoth Hause, daß der Tempel gebaut würde.(dhs) Zec 8:9 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ κατισχυέτωσαν αἱ χεῖρες ὑμῶν τῶν ἀκουόντων ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐκ στόματος τῶν προφητῶν ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας τεθεμελίωται ὁ οἶκος κυρίου παντοκράτορος καὶ ὁ ναὸς ἀφ᾽ οὗ ᾠκοδόμηται (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:10 ============ Zec 8:10 For before those days there was no wage for man or any wage for animal; and for him who went out or came in there was no peace because of his enemies, and I set all men one against another. (nasb) Zec 8:10 For before these days There were no wages for man nor any hire for beast; There was no peace from the enemy for whoever went out or came in; For I set all men, everyone, against his neighbor. (nkjv) Zec 8:10 Denn vor diesen Tagen war der Menschen Arbeit vergebens, und der Tiere Arbeit war nichts, und war kein Friede vor Trübsal denen, die aus und ein zogen; sondern ich ließ alle Menschen gehen, einen jeglichen wider seinen Nächsten.(dhs) Zec 8:10 διότι πρὸ τῶν ἡμερῶν ἐκείνων ὁ μισθὸς τῶν ἀνθρώπων οὐκ ἔσται εἰς ὄνησιν καὶ ὁ μισθὸς τῶν κτηνῶν οὐχ ὑπάρξει καὶ τῷ ἐκπορευομένῳ καὶ τῷ εἰσπορευομένῳ οὐκ ἔσται εἰρήνη ἀπὸ τῆς θλίψεως καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἕκαστον ἐπὶ τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:11 ============ Zec 8:11 But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days, 'declares the Lord of hosts. (nasb) Zec 8:11 'But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,' says the Lord of hosts. (nkjv) Zec 8:11 Aber nun will ich nicht wie in den vorigen Tagen mit den übrigen dieses Volkes fahren, spricht der HERR Zebaoth;(dhs) Zec 8:11 καὶ νῦν οὐ κατὰ τὰς ἡμέρας τὰς ἔμπροσθεν ἐγὼ ποιῶ τοῖς καταλοίποις τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:12 ============ Zec 8:12 'For there will be peace for the seed: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its produce and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things. (nasb) Zec 8:12 'For the seed shall be prosperous, The vine shall give its fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew-- I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these. (nkjv) Zec 8:12 sondern sie sollen Same des Friedens sein. Der Weinstock soll seine Frucht geben und das Land sein Gewächs geben, und der Himmel soll seinen Tau geben; und ich will die übrigen dieses Volkes solches alles besitzen lassen.(dhs) Zec 8:12 ἀλλ᾽ ἢ δείξω εἰρήνην ἡ ἄμπελος δώσει τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῆς καὶ ἡ γῆ δώσει τὰ γενήματα αὐτῆς καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς δώσει τὴν δρόσον αὐτοῦ καὶ κατακληρονομήσω τοῖς καταλοίποις τοῦ λαοῦ μου πάντα ταῦτα (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:13 ============ Zec 8:13 It will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.' (nasb) Zec 8:13 And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.' (nkjv) Zec 8:13 Und soll geschehen, wie ihr vom Hause Juda und vom Hause Israel seid ein Fluch gewesen unter den Heiden, so will ich euch erlösen, daß ihr sollt ein Segen sein. Fürchtet euch nur nicht und stärket eure Hände.(dhs) Zec 8:13 καὶ ἔσται ὃν τρόπον ἦτε ἐν κατάρᾳ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν οἶκος Ιουδα καὶ οἶκος Ισραηλ οὕτως διασώσω ὑμᾶς καὶ ἔσεσθε ἐν εὐλογίᾳ θαρσεῖτε καὶ κατισχύετε ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν ὑμῶν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:14 ============ Zec 8:14 "For thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Just as I purposed to do harm to you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, 'says the Lord of hosts, 'and I have not relented, (nasb) Zec 8:14 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Just as I determined to punish you When your fathers provoked Me to wrath,' Says the Lord of hosts, 'And I would not relent, (nkjv) Zec 8:14 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Gleichwie ich euch gedachte zu plagen, da mich eure Väter erzürnten, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, und es reute mich nicht,(dhs) Zec 8:14 διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ὃν τρόπον διενοήθην τοῦ κακῶσαι ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ παροργίσαι με τοὺς πατέρας ὑμῶν λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ οὐ μετενόησα (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:15 ============ Zec 8:15 so I have again purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear! (nasb) Zec 8:15 So again in these days I am determined to do good To Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear. (nkjv) Zec 8:15 also gedenke ich nun wiederum in diesen Tagen, wohlzutun Jerusalem und dem Hause Juda. Fürchtet euch nur nicht.(dhs) Zec 8:15 οὕτως παρατέταγμαι καὶ διανενόημαι ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις τοῦ καλῶς ποιῆσαι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὸν οἶκον Ιουδα θαρσεῖτε (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:16 ============ Zec 8:16 These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates. (nasb) Zec 8:16 These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace; (nkjv) Zec 8:16 Das ist's aber, was ihr tun sollt: Rede einer mit dem andern Wahrheit, und richtet recht, und schafft Frieden in euren Toren;(dhs) Zec 8:16 οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι οὓς ποιήσετε λαλεῖτε ἀλήθειαν ἕκαστος πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ καὶ κρίμα εἰρηνικὸν κρίνατε ἐν ταῖς πύλαις ὑμῶν (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:17 ============ Zec 8:17 Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate, 'declares the Lord." (nasb) Zec 8:17 Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; And do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate,' Says the Lord." (nkjv) Zec 8:17 und denke keiner Arges in seinem Herzen wider seinen Nächsten, und liebt nicht falsche Eide! denn solches alles hasse ich, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Zec 8:17 καὶ ἕκαστος τὴν κακίαν τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ μὴ λογίζεσθε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν καὶ ὅρκον ψευδῆ μὴ ἀγαπᾶτε διότι ταῦτα πάντα ἐμίσησα λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:18 ============ Zec 8:18 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, (nasb) Zec 8:18 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, (nkjv) Zec 8:18 Und es geschah des HERRN Zebaoth Wort zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Zec 8:18 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κύριου παντοκράτορος πρός με λέγων (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:19 ============ Zec 8:19 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth months will become joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah; so love truth and peace.' (nasb) Zec 8:19 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'The fast of the fourth month, The fast of the fifth, The fast of the seventh, And the fast of the tenth, Shall be joy and gladness and cheerful feasts For the house of Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.' (nkjv) Zec 8:19 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Die Fasten des vierten, fünften, siebenten und zehnten Monats sollen dem Hause Juda zur Freude und Wonne und zu fröhlichen Jahrfesten werden; allein liebet die Wahrheit und Frieden.(dhs) Zec 8:19 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ νηστεία ἡ τετρὰς καὶ νηστεία ἡ πέμπτη καὶ νηστεία ἡ ἑβδόμη καὶ νηστεία ἡ δεκάτη ἔσονται τῷ οἴκῳ Ιουδα εἰς χαρὰν καὶ εἰς εὐφροσύνην καὶ εἰς ἑορτὰς ἀγαθὰς καὶ εὐφρανθήσεσθε καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειαν καὶ τὴν εἰρήνην ἀγαπήσατε (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:20 ============ Zec 8:20 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'It will yet be that peoples will come, even the inhabitants of many cities. (nasb) Zec 8:20 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities; (nkjv) Zec 8:20 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Weiter werden noch kommen viele Völker und vieler Städte Bürger;(dhs) Zec 8:20 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἔτι ἥξουσιν λαοὶ πολλοὶ καὶ κατοικοῦντες πόλεις πολλάς (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:21 ============ Zec 8:21 The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, "Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts; I will also go." (nasb) Zec 8:21 The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, "Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord, And seek the Lord of hosts. I myself will go also." (nkjv) Zec 8:21 und werden die Bürger einer Stadt gehen zur andern und sagen: Laßt uns gehen, zu bitten vor dem HERRN und zu suchen den HERRN Zebaoth; wir wollen auch mit euch gehen.(dhs) Zec 8:21 καὶ συνελεύσονται κατοικοῦντες πέντε πόλεις εἰς μίαν πόλιν λέγοντες πορευθῶμεν δεηθῆναι τοῦ προσώπου κυρίου καὶ ἐκζητῆσαι τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου παντοκράτορος πορεύσομαι κἀγώ (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:22 ============ Zec 8:22 So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the Lord.' (nasb) Zec 8:22 Yes, many peoples and strong nations Shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the Lord.' (nkjv) Zec 8:22 Also werden viele Völker und die Heiden in Haufen kommen, zu suchen den HERRN Zebaoth zu Jerusalem, zu bitten vor dem HERRN.(dhs) Zec 8:22 καὶ ἥξουσιν λαοὶ πολλοὶ καὶ ἔθνη πολλὰ ἐκζητῆσαι τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου παντοκράτορος ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τοῦ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου (lxx) ======= Zechariah 8:23 ============ Zec 8:23 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."'" (nasb) Zec 8:23 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." ' " (nkjv) Zec 8:23 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Zu der Zeit werden zehn Männer aus allerlei Sprachen der Heiden einen jüdischen Mann bei dem Zipfel ergreifen und sagen: Wir wollen mit euch gehe; denn wir hören, daß Gott mit euch ist.(dhs) Zec 8:23 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις ἐὰν ἐπιλάβωνται δέκα ἄνδρες ἐκ πασῶν τῶν γλωσσῶν τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ἐπιλάβωνται τοῦ κρασπέδου ἀνδρὸς Ιουδαίου λέγοντες πορευσόμεθα μετὰ σοῦ διότι ἀκηκόαμεν ὅτι ὁ θεὸς μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἐστιν (lxx) top of the page
