Today's Date: ======= Romans 11:1 ============ Rom 11:1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (nas) Rom 11:1 I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (nkjv) Rom 11:1 So sage ich nun: Hat denn Gott sein Volk verstoßen? Das sei ferne! Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? (nas) Rom 11:2 God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, (nkjv) Rom 11:2 Gott hat sein Volk nicht verstoßen, welches er zuvor ersehen hat. (nas) Rom 11:3 "Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life"? "I HAVE KEPT for Myself SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL." (nas) Rom 11:4 But what does the divine response say to him? "I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal." (nkjv) Rom 11:4 Aber was sagt die göttliche Antwort? "Ich habe mir lassen übrig bleiben siebentausend Mann, die nicht haben ihre Kniee gebeugt vor dem Baal."(dhs) Rom 11:4 ἀλλὰ τί λέγει αὐτῶ ὁ χρηματισμός; κατέλιπον ἐμαυτῶ ἑπτακισχιλίους ἄνδρας, οἵτινες οὐκ ἔκαμψαν γόνυ τῇ βάαλ. (nas) Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. (nkjv) Rom 11:6 Ist's aber aus Gnaden, so ist's nicht aus Verdienst der Werke; sonst würde Gnade nicht Gnade sein. Ist's aber aus Verdienst der Werke, so ist die Gnade nichts; sonst wäre Verdienst nicht Verdienst.(dhs) Rom 11:6 εἰ δὲ χάριτι, οὐκέτι ἐξ ἔργων, ἐπεὶ ἡ χάρις οὐκέτι γίνεται χάρις. What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened; (nas) Rom 11:7 What then? (nas) Rom 11:8 Just as it is written: "God has given them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they should not hear, To this very day." (nas) Rom 11:9 And David says: "Let their table become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to them. May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. (nas) Rom 11:11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! Sie sind ausgebrochen um ihres Unglaubens willen; du stehst aber durch den Glauben. (nas) Rom 11:21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. (nas) Rom 11:22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 11:23 και εκεινοι δε εαν μη επιμεινωσιν τη απιστια εγκεντρισθησονται δυνατος γαρ εστιν ο θεος παλιν εγκεντρισαι αυτους (Textus Receptus) ======= Romans 11:24 ============ Rom 11:24 For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree? (nas) Rom 11:24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? (nkjv) Rom 11:24 Denn so du aus dem Ölbaum, der von Natur aus wild war, bist abgehauen und wider die Natur in den guten Ölbaum gepropft, wie viel mehr werden die natürlichen eingepropft in ihren eigenen Ölbaum.(dhs) Rom 11:24 εἰ γὰρ σὺ ἐκ τῆς κατὰ φύσιν ἐξεκόπης ἀγριελαίου καὶ παρὰ φύσιν ἐνεκεντρίσθης εἰς καλλιέλαιον, πόσῳ μᾶλλον οὖτοι οἱ κατὰ φύσιν ἐγκεντρισθήσονται τῇ ἰδίᾳ ἐλαίᾳ. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 11:24 ει γαρ συ εκ της κατα φυσιν εξεκοπης αγριελαιου και παρα φυσιν ενεκεντρισθης εις καλλιελαιον ποσω μαλλον ουτοι οι κατα φυσιν εγκεντρισθησονται τη ιδια ελαια (Textus Receptus) ======= Romans 11:25 ============ Rom 11:25 For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery--so that you will not be wise in your own estimation--that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; (nas) Rom 11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
