Links to all Books and Chapters Today's Date: ======= Numbers 19:1 ============ Num 19:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,(nasb) Num 19:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,(kjv) Num 19:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:2 ============ Num 19:2 "This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, 'Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed.(nasb) Num 19:2 This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:(kjv) Num 19:2 "This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying: 'Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without blemish, in which there is no defect and on which a yoke has never come.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:3 ============ Num 19:3 You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be brought outside the camp and be slaughtered in his presence.(nasb) Num 19:3 And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:(kjv) Num 19:3 You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, that he may take it outside the camp, and it shall be slaughtered before him;(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:4 ============ Num 19:4 Next Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and sprinkle some of its blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times.(nasb) Num 19:4 And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:(kjv) Num 19:4 and Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle some of its blood seven times directly in front of the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:5 ============ Num 19:5 Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight; its hide and its flesh and its blood, with its refuse, shall be burned.(nasb) Num 19:5 And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:(kjv) Num 19:5 Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight: its hide, its flesh, its blood, and its offal shall be burned.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:6 ============ Num 19:6 The priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet material and cast it into the midst of the burning heifer.(nasb) Num 19:6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.(kjv) Num 19:6 And the priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet, and cast them into the midst of the fire burning the heifer.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:7 ============ Num 19:7 The priest shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest shall be unclean until evening.(nasb) Num 19:7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.(kjv) Num 19:7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, he shall bathe in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp; it is purification from sin.(nasb) Num 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.(kjv) Num 19:9 Then a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and store them outside the camp in a clean place; and they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for the water of purification; it is for purifying from sin.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:10 ============ Num 19:10 The one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening; and it shall be a perpetual statute to the sons of Israel and to the alien who sojourns among them.(nasb) Num 19:10 And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.(kjv) Num 19:10 And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until evening. It shall be a statute forever to the children of Israel and to the stranger who dwells among them.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:11 ============ Num 19:11 'The one who touches the corpse of any person shall be unclean for seven days.(nasb) Num 19:11 He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.(kjv) Num 19:11 'He who touches the dead body of anyone shall be unclean seven days.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:12 ============ Num 19:12 That one shall purify himself from uncleanness with the water on the third day and on the seventh day, and then he will be clean; but if he does not purify himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean.(nasb) Num 19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.(kjv) Num 19:12 He shall purify himself with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then he will be clean. But if he does not purify himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 19:13 ============ Num 19:13 Anyone who touches a corpse, the body of a man who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from Israel. Because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is still on him.(nasb) Num 19:13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.(kjv) Num 19:13 Whoever touches the body of anyone who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord. That person shall be cut off from Israel.
