Links to all Books and Chapters Today's Date: 4/12/2025 ======= Deuteronomy 16:1 ============ Deu 16:1 "Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover to the Lord your God, for in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night.(nasb) Deu 16:1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.(kjv) Deu 16:1 "Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:2 ============ Deu 16:2 You shall sacrifice the Passover to the Lord your God from the flock and the herd, in the place where the Lord chooses to establish His name.(nasb) Deu 16:2 Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.(kjv) Deu 16:2 Therefore you shall sacrifice the Passover to the Lord your God, from the flock and the herd, in the place where the Lord chooses to put His name.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:3 ============ Deu 16:3 You shall not eat leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat with it unleavened bread, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste), so that you may remember all the days of your life the day when you came out of the land of Egypt.(nasb) Deu 16:3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.(kjv) Deu 16:3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread with it, that is, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste), that you may remember the day in which you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:4 ============ Deu 16:4 For seven days no leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory, and none of the flesh which you sacrifice on the evening of the first day shall remain overnight until morning.(nasb) Deu 16:4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.(kjv) Deu 16:4 And no leaven shall be seen among you in all your territory for seven days, nor shall any of the meat which you sacrifice the first day at twilight remain overnight until morning.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:5 ============ Deu 16:5 You are not allowed to sacrifice the Passover in any of your towns which the Lord your God is giving you;(nasb) Deu 16:5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee:(kjv) Deu 16:5 You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which the Lord your God gives you;(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:6 ============ Deu 16:6 but at the place where the Lord your God chooses to establish His name, you shall sacrifice the Passover in the evening at sunset, at the time that you came out of Egypt.(nasb) Deu 16:6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.(kjv) Deu 16:6 but at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at twilight, at the going down of the sun, at the time you came out of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:7 ============ Deu 16:7 You shall cook and eat it in the place which the Lord your God chooses. In the morning you are to return to your tents.(nasb) Deu 16:7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.(kjv) Deu 16:7 And you shall roast and eat it in the place which the Lord your God chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:8 ============ Deu 16:8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to the Lord your God; you shall do no work on it.(nasb) Deu 16:8 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.(kjv) Deu 16:8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a sacred assembly to the Lord your God. You shall do no work on it.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 16:9 ============ Deu 16:9 "You shall count seven weeks for yourself; you shall begin to count seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain.(nasb) Deu 16:9 Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.(kjv) Deu 16:9 "You shall count seven weeks for yourself;
