(nasb) Eze 27:5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.(kjv) Eze 27:5 They made all your planks of fir trees from Senir; They took a cedar from Lebanon to make you a mast.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:6 ============ Eze 27:6 "Of oaks from Bashan they have made your oars; With ivory they have inlaid your deck of boxwood from the coastlands of Cyprus. (nasb) Eze 27:6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.(kjv) Eze 27:6 Of oaks from Bashan they made your oars; The company of Ashurites have inlaid your planks With ivory from the coasts of Cyprus.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:7 ============ Eze 27:7 "Your sail was of fine embroidered linen from Egypt So that it became your distinguishing mark; Your awning was blue and purple from the coastlands of Elishah. (nasb) Eze 27:7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.(kjv) Eze 27:7 Fine embroidered linen from Egypt was what you spread for your sail; Blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah was what covered you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:8 ============ Eze 27:8 "The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your rowers; Your wise men, O Tyre, were aboard; they were your pilots. (nasb) Eze 27:8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.(kjv) Eze 27:8 "Inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your oarsmen; Your wise men, O Tyre, were in you; They became your pilots.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:9 ============ Eze 27:9 "The elders of Gebal and her wise men were with you repairing your seams; All the ships of the sea and their sailors were with you in order to deal in your merchandise. (nasb) Eze 27:9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.(kjv) Eze 27:9 Elders of Gebal and its wise men Were in you to caulk your seams; All the ships of the sea And their oarsmen were in you To market your merchandise.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:10 ============ Eze 27:10 "Persia and Lud and Put were in your army, your men of war. They hung shield and helmet in you; they set forth your splendor. (nasb) Eze 27:10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.(kjv) Eze 27:10 "Those from Persia, Lydia, and Libya Were in your army as men of war; They hung shield and helmet in you; They gave splendor to you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:11 ============ Eze 27:11 The sons of Arvad and your army were on your walls, all around, and the Gammadim were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around; they perfected your beauty. (nasb) Eze 27:11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.(kjv) Eze 27:11 Men of Arvad with your army were on your walls all around, And the men of Gammad were in your towers; They hung their shields on your walls all around; They made your beauty perfect.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:12 ============ Eze 27:12 "Tarshish was your customer because of the abundance of all kinds of wealth; with silver, iron, tin and lead they paid for your wares. (nasb) Eze 27:12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.(kjv) Eze 27:12 "Tarshish was your merchant because of your many luxury goods. They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your goods.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:13 ============ Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal and Meshech, they were your traders; with the lives of men and vessels of bronze they paid for your merchandise. (nasb) Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.(kjv) Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They bartered human lives and vessels of bronze for your merchandise.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:14 ============ Eze 27:14 Those from Beth-togarmah gave horses and war horses and mules for your wares. (nasb) Eze 27:14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.(kjv) Eze 27:14 Those from the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:15 ============ Eze 27:15 The sons of Dedan were your traders. Many coastlands were your market; ivory tusks and ebony they brought as your payment. (nasb) Eze 27:15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.(kjv) Eze 27:15 The men of Dedan were your traders; many isles were the market of your hand. They brought you ivory tusks and ebony as payment.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:16 ============ Eze 27:16 Aram was your customer because of the abundance of your goods; they paid for your wares with emeralds, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral and rubies. (nasb) Eze 27:16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.(kjv) Eze 27:16 Syria was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made. They gave you for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidery, fine linen, corals, and rubies.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:17 ============ Eze 27:17 Judah and the land of Israel, they were your traders; with the wheat of Minnith, cakes, honey, oil and balm they paid for your merchandise. (nasb) Eze 27:17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.(kjv) Eze 27:17 Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded for your merchandise wheat of Minnith, millet, honey, oil, and balm.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:18 ============ Eze 27:18 Damascus was your customer because of the abundance of your goods, because of the abundance of all kinds of wealth, because of the wine of Helbon and white wool. (nasb) Eze 27:18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.(kjv) Eze 27:18 Damascus was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made, because of your many luxury items, with the wine of Helbon and with white wool.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:19 ============ Eze 27:19 Vedan and Javan paid for your wares from Uzal; wrought iron, cassia and sweet cane were among your merchandise. (nasb) Eze 27:19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.(kjv) Eze 27:19 Dan and Javan paid for your wares, traversing back and forth. Wrought iron, cassia, and cane were among your merchandise.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:20 ============ Eze 27:20 Dedan traded with you in saddlecloths for riding. (nasb) Eze 27:20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.(kjv) Eze 27:20 Dedan was your merchant in saddlecloths for riding.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:21 ============ Eze 27:21 Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, they were your customers for lambs, rams and goats; for these they were your customers. (nasb) Eze 27:21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.(kjv) Eze 27:21 Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your regular merchants. They traded with you in lambs, rams, and goats.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:22 ============ Eze 27:22 The traders of Sheba and Raamah, they traded with you; they paid for your wares with the best of all kinds of spices, and with all kinds of precious stones and gold. (nasb) Eze 27:23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.(kjv) Eze 27:23 Haran, Canneh, Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Assyria, and Chilmad were your merchants.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:24 ============ Eze 27:24 They traded with you in choice garments, in clothes of blue and embroidered work, and in carpets of many colors and tightly wound cords, which were among your merchandise. They will cast dust on their heads, They will wallow in ashes.
