Links to all Books and Chapters Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 33:1 ============ Eze 33:1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, (nasb) Eze 33:1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(kjv) Eze 33:1 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:2 ============ Eze 33:2 "Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman, (nasb) Eze 33:2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:(kjv) Eze 33:2 "Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: 'When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:3 ============ Eze 33:3 and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people, (nasb) Eze 33:3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;(kjv) Eze 33:3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:4 ============ Eze 33:4 then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. '(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:11 ============ Eze 33:11 Say to them, 'As I live!' declares the Lord God, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?'(nasb) Eze 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?(kjv) Eze 33:11 Say to them: 'As I live,' says the Lord God, 'I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:12 ============ Eze 33:12 And you, son of man, say to your fellow citizens, 'The righteousness of a righteous man will not deliver him in the day of his transgression, and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not stumble because of it in the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous man will not be able to live by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.'(nasb) Eze 33:12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.(kjv) Eze 33:12 "Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: 'The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:13 ============ Eze 33:13 When I say to the righteous he will surely live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but in that same iniquity of his which he has committed he will die. (nasb) Eze 33:13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.(kjv) Eze 33:13 When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:14 ============ Eze 33:14 But when I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness, (nasb) Eze 33:14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;(kjv) Eze 33:14 Again, when I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:15 ============ Eze 33:15 if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die. (nasb) Eze 33:15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.(kjv) Eze 33:15 if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:16 ============ Eze 33:16 None of his sins that he has committed will be remembered against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he shall surely live. But we are many; the land has been given to us as a possession.'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 33:25 ============ Eze 33:25 Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God, "You eat meat with the blood in it, lift up your eyes to your idols as you shed blood. Should you then possess the land? (nasb) Eze 33:25 Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?(kjv) Eze 33:25 Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "You eat meat with blood, you lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood.
