For the judgment applies to you, For you have been a snare at Mizpah And a net spread out on Tabor. (nasb) Hos 5:1 Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.(kjv) Hos 5:1 "Hear this, O priests! (nasb) Hos 5:2 And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.(kjv) Hos 5:2 The revolters are deeply involved in slaughter, Though I rebuke them all.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:3 ============ Hos 5:3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you have played the harlot, Israel has defiled itself. (nasb) Hos 5:3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.(kjv) Hos 5:3 I know Ephraim, And Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry; Israel is defiled.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:4 ============ Hos 5:4 Their deeds will not allow them To return to their God. For a spirit of harlotry is within them, And they do not know the Lord. (nasb) Hos 5:4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.(kjv) Hos 5:4 "They do not direct their deeds Toward turning to their God, For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst, And they do not know the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:5 ============ Hos 5:5 Moreover, the pride of Israel testifies against him, And Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; Judah also has stumbled with them. Now the new moon will devour them with their land. (nasb) Hos 5:7 They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.(kjv) Hos 5:7 They have dealt treacherously with the Lord, For they have begotten pagan children. Now a New Moon shall devour them and their heritage.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:8 ============ Hos 5:8 Blow the horn in Gibeah, The trumpet in Ramah. Sound an alarm at Beth-aven: "Behind you, Benjamin!"(nasb) Hos 5:8 Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Benjamin.(kjv) Hos 5:8 "Blow the ram's horn in Gibeah, The trumpet in Ramah! Cry aloud at Beth Aven, 'Look behind you, O Benjamin!'(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:9 ============ Hos 5:9 Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I declare what is sure. (nasb) Hos 5:9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.(kjv) Hos 5:9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:10 ============ Hos 5:10 The princes of Judah have become like those who move a boundary; On them I will pour out My wrath like water. (nasb) Hos 5:10 The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.(kjv) Hos 5:10 "The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark; I will pour out my wrath on them like water.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:11 ============ Hos 5:11 Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, Because he was determined to follow man's command. (nasb) Hos 5:11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.(kjv) Hos 5:11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, Because he willingly walked by human precept.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:12 ============ Hos 5:12 Therefore I am like a moth to Ephraim And like rottenness to the house of Judah. (nasb) Hos 5:12 Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.(kjv) Hos 5:12 Therefore I will be to Ephraim like a moth, And to the house of Judah like rottenness.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:13 ============ Hos 5:13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb. But he is unable to heal you, Or to cure you of your wound. (nasb) Hos 5:13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.(kjv) Hos 5:13 "When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah saw his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb; Yet he cannot cure you, Nor heal you of your wound.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:14 ============ Hos 5:14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear to pieces and go away, I will carry away, and there will be none to deliver. (nasb) Hos 5:14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.(kjv) Hos 5:14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them and go away; I will take them away, and no one shall rescue.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 5:15 ============ Hos 5:15 I will go away and return to My place Until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me. (nasb) Hos 5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.(kjv) Hos 5:15 I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense.
