Psa 131:1 O Lord, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.

Psa 131:2 Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.

Psa 131:3 O Israel, hope in the Lord From this time forth and forever.

--------

Psa 138:1 I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing praises to You before the gods.

Psa 138:2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.

Psa 138:3 On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.

Psa 138:4 All the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, O Lord, When they have heard the words of Your mouth.

Psa 138:5 And they will sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.

Psa 138:6 For though the Lord is exalted, Yet He regards the lowly, But the haughty He knows from afar.

Psa 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

Psa 138:8 The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

--------

Psa 139:1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.

Psa 139:2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar.

Psa 139:3 You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.

Psa 139:4 Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord, You know it all.

Psa 139:5 You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.

Psa 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it.

Psa 139:7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?

Psa 139:8 If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.

Psa 139:9 If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,

Psa 139:10 Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will lay hold of me.

Psa 139:11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,"

Psa 139:12 Even the darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You.

Psa 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb.

Psa 139:14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

Psa 139:15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;

Psa 139:16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.

Psa 139:17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

Psa 139:18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.

Psa 139:19 O that You would slay the wicked, O God; Depart from me, therefore, men of bloodshed.

Psa 139:20 For they speak against You wickedly, And Your enemies take Your name in vain.

Psa 139:21 Do I not hate those who hate You, O Lord? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?

Psa 139:22 I hate them with the utmost hatred; They have become my enemies.

Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts;

Psa 139:24 And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.

--------

Psa 143:1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, Give ear to my supplications! Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness!

Psa 143:2 And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For in Your sight no man living is righteous.

Psa 143:3 For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in dark places, like those who have long been dead.

Psa 143:4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; My heart is appalled within me.

Psa 143:5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings; I muse on the work of Your hands.

Psa 143:6 I stretch out my hands to You; My soul longs for You, as a parched land. Selah.

Psa 143:7 Answer me quickly, O Lord, my spirit fails; Do not hide Your face from me, Or I will become like those who go down to the pit.

Psa 143:8 Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.

Psa 143:9 Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; I take refuge in You.

Psa 143:10 Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Psa 143:11 For the sake of Your name, O Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.

Psa 143:12 And in Your lovingkindness, cut off my enemies And destroy all those who afflict my soul, For I am Your servant.

--------

Psa 144:1 Blessed be the Lord, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle;

Psa 144:2 My lovingkindness and my fortress, My stronghold and my deliverer, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.

Psa 144:3 O Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You think of him?

Psa 144:4 Man is like a mere breath; His days are like a passing shadow.

Psa 144:5 Bow Your heavens, O Lord, and come down; Touch the mountains, that they may smoke.

Psa 144:6 Flash forth lightning and scatter them; Send out Your arrows and confuse them.

Psa 144:7 Stretch forth Your hand from on high; Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters, Out of the hand of aliens

Psa 144:8 Whose mouths speak deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

Psa 144:9 I will sing a new song to You, O God; Upon a harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You,

Psa 144:10 Who gives salvation to kings, Who rescues David His servant from the evil sword.

Psa 144:11 Rescue me and deliver me out of the hand of aliens, Whose mouth speaks deceit And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

Psa 144:12 Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, And our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace;

Psa 144:13 Let our garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce, And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;

Psa 144:14 Let our cattle bear Without mishap and without loss, Let there be no outcry in our streets!

Psa 144:15 How blessed are the people who are so situated; How blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!

--------

Psa 145:1 I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever.

Psa 145:2 Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.

Psa 145:3 Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.

Psa 145:4 One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.

Psa 145:5 On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.

Psa 145:6 Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness.

Psa 145:7 They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.

Psa 145:8 The Lord is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.

Psa 145:9 The Lord is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works.

Psa 145:10 All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, And Your godly ones shall bless You.

Psa 145:11 They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power;

Psa 145:12 To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.

Psa 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.

Psa 145:14 The Lord sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.

Psa 145:15 The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.

Psa 145:16 You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

Psa 145:17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.

Psa 145:18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

Psa 145:19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.

Psa 145:20 The Lord keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.

Psa 145:21 My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.
