Der fing an ein gewaltiger Herr zu sein auf Erden,(dhs) 8 ׃10 וְכ֖וּשׁ יָלַ֣ד אֶת־נִמְרֹ֑ד ה֣וּא הֵחֵ֔ל לֽ͏ִהְי֥וֹת גִּבֹּ֖ר בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 10:8 Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 10:9 ============ Gen 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord."(nasb-1995) Gen 10:9 οὗτος ἦν γίγας κυνηγὸς ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ διὰ τοῦτο ἐροῦσιν ὡς Νεβρωδ γίγας κυνηγὸς ἐναντίον κυρίου (lxx) Gen 10:9 et erat robustus venator coram Domino. Ob hoc exivit proverbium: Quasi Nemrod robustus venator coram Domino.(Vulgate) Gen 10:9 und war ein gewaltiger Jäger vor dem HERRN. Daher spricht man: Das ist ein gewaltiger Jäger vor dem HERRN wie Nimrod.(dhs) 9 ׃10 הֽוּא־הָיָ֥ה גִבֹּֽר־צַ֖יִד לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה עַל־כֵּן֙ יֵֽאָמַ֔ר כְּנִמְרֹ֛ד גִּבּ֥וֹר צַ֖יִד לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 10:10 ============ Gen 10:10 The beginning of his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Accad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.(nasb-1995) Gen 10:10 καὶ ἐγένετο ἀρχὴ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ Βαβυλὼν καὶ Ορεχ καὶ Αρχαδ καὶ Χαλαννη ἐν τῇ γῇ Σεννααρ (lxx) Gen 10:10 Fuit autem principium regni ejus Babylon, et Arach et Achad, et Chalanne, in terra Sennaar.(Vulgate) Gen 10:10 Und der Anfang seines Reiches war Babel, Erech, Akkad und Chalne im Lande Sinear.(dhs) 10 ׃10 וַתְּהִ֨י רֵאשִׁ֤ית מַמְלַכְתּוֹ֙ בָּבֶ֔ל וְאֶ֖רֶךְ וְאַכַּ֣ד וְכַלְנֵ֑ה בְּאֶ֖רֶץ שִׁנְעָֽר׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 10:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 10:11 ============ Gen 10:11 From that land he went forth into Assyria, and built Nineveh and Rehoboth- Ir and Calah,(nasb-1995) Gen 10:11 ἐκ τῆς γῆς ἐκείνης ἐξῆλθεν Ασσουρ καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν τὴν Νινευη καὶ τὴν Ροωβωθ πόλιν καὶ τὴν Χαλαχ (lxx) Gen 10:11 De terra illa egressus est Assur, et ædificavit Niniven, et plateas civitatis, et Chale.(Vulgate) Gen 10:11 Von dem Land ist er gekommen nach Assur und baute Ninive und Rehoboth-Ir und Kalah,(dhs) 11 ׃10 מִן־הָאָ֥רֶץ הַהִ֖וא יָצָ֣א אַשּׁ֑וּר וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ אֶת־נִ֣ינְוֵ֔ה וְאֶת־רְחֹבֹ֥ת עִ֖יר וְאֶת־כָּֽלַח׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 10:11 From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah,(nkjv) ======= Genesis 10:12 ============ Gen 10:12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.(nasb-1995) Gen 10:12 καὶ τὴν Δασεμ ἀνὰ μέσον Νινευη καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον Χαλαχ αὕτη ἡ πόλις ἡ μεγάλη (lxx) Gen 10:12 Resen quoque inter Niniven et Chale: hæc est civitas magna.(Vulgate) Gen 10:12 dazu Resen zwischen Ninive und Kalah.
