All these were the children of Keturah.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:5 ============ Gen 25:5 Now Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac;(nasb-1995) Gen 25:5 ἔδωκεν δὲ Αβρααμ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ Ισαακ τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Gen 25:5 Deditque Abraham cuncta quæ possederat, Isaac:(Vulgate) Gen 25:5 Und Abraham gab all sein Gut Isaak.(dhs) 5 ׃25 וַיִּתֵּ֧ן אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֖וֹ לְיִצְחָֽק׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:5 And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:6 ============ Gen 25:6 but to the sons of his concubines, Abraham gave gifts while he was still living, and sent them away from his son Isaac eastward, to the land of the east.(nasb-1995) Gen 25:6 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν παλλακῶν αὐτοῦ ἔδωκεν Αβρααμ δόματα καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ Ισαακ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ ἔτι ζῶντος αὐτοῦ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς εἰς γῆν ἀνατολῶν (lxx) Gen 25:6 filiis autem concubinarum largitus est munera, et separavit eos ab Isaac filio suo, dum adhuc ipse viveret, ad plagam orientalem.(Vulgate) Gen 25:6 Aber den Kindern, die er von den Kebsweibern hatte, gab er Geschenke und ließ sie von seinen Sohn Isaak ziehen, dieweil er noch lebte, gegen Aufgang in das Morgenland.(dhs) 6 ׃25 וְלִבְנֵ֤י הַפִּֽילַגְשִׁים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְאַבְרָהָ֔ם נָתַ֥ן אַבְרָהָ֖ם מַתָּנֹ֑ת וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֵ֞ם מֵעַ֨ל יִצְחָ֤ק בּנוֹ֙ בְּעוֹדֶ֣נּוּ חַ֔י קֵ֖דְמָה אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ קֶֽדֶם׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:6 But Abraham gave gifts to the sons of the concubines which Abraham had; and while he was still living he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the country of the east.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:7 ============ Gen 25:7 These are all the years of Abraham's life that he lived, one hundred and seventy-five years.(nasb-1995) Gen 25:7 ταῦτα δὲ τὰ ἔτη ἡμερῶν ζωῆς Αβρααμ ὅσα ἔζησεν ἑκατὸν ἑβδομήκοντα πέντε ἔτη (lxx) Gen 25:7 Fuerunt autem dies vitæ Abrahæ, centum septuaginta quinque anni.(Vulgate) Gen 25:7 Das aber ist Abrahams Alter, das er gelebt hat: hundertfünfundsiebzig Jahre.(dhs) 7 ׃25 וְאֵ֗לֶּה יְמֵ֛י שְׁנֵֽי־חַיֵּ֥י אַבְרָהָ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־חָ֑י מְאַ֥ת שָׁנָ֛ה וְשִׁבְעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וְחָמֵ֥שׁ שָׁנִֽים׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:7 This is the sum of the years of Abraham's life which he lived: one hundred and seventy-five years.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:8 ============ Gen 25:8 Abraham breathed his last and died in a ripe old age, an old man and satisfied with life; and he was gathered to his people.(nasb-1995) Gen 25:8 καὶ ἐκλιπὼν ἀπέθανεν Αβρααμ ἐν γήρει καλῷ πρεσβύτης καὶ πλήρης ἡμερῶν καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Gen 25:8 Et deficiens mortuus est in senectute bona, provectæque ætatis et plenus dierum: congregatusque est ad populum suum.(Vulgate) Gen 25:8 Und er nahm ab und starb in einem ruhigen Alter, da er alt und lebenssatt war, und ward zu seinem Volk gesammelt.(dhs) 8 ׃25 וַיִּגְוַ֨ע וַיָּ֧מָת אַבְרָהָ֛ם בְּשֵׂיבָ֥ה טוֹבָ֖ה זָקֵ֣ן וְשָׂבֵ֑עַ וַיֵּאָ֖סֶף אֶל־עַמָּֽיו׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:8 Then Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:9 ============ Gen 25:9 Then his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, facing Mamre,(nasb-1995) Gen 25:9 καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν Ισαακ καὶ Ισμαηλ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον τὸ διπλοῦν εἰς τὸν ἀγρὸν Εφρων τοῦ Σααρ τοῦ Χετταίου ὅ ἐστιν ἀπέναντι Μαμβρη (lxx) Gen 25:9 Et sepelierunt eum Isaac et Ismaël filii sui in spelunca duplici, quæ sita est in agro Ephron filii Seor Hethæi, e regione Mambre,(Vulgate) Gen 25:9 Und es begruben ihn die Söhne Isaak und Ismael in der zwiefachen Höhle auf dem Acker Ephrons, des Sohnes Zohars, des Hethiters, die da liegt Mamre gegenüber,(dhs) 9 ׃25 וַיִּקְבְּר֨וּ אֹת֜וֹ יִצְחָ֤ק וְיִשְׁמָעֵאל֙ בָּנָ֔יו אֶל־מְעָרַ֖ת הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֑ה אֶל־שְׂדֵ֞ה עֶפְרֹ֤ן בֶּן־צֹ֙חַר֙ הַֽחִתִּ֔י אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י מַמְרֵֽא׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite,(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:10 ============ Gen 25:10 the field which Abraham purchased from the sons of Heth; there Abraham was buried with Sarah his wife.(nasb-1995) Gen 25:10 τὸν ἀγρὸν καὶ τὸ σπήλαιον ὃ ἐκτήσατο Αβρααμ παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Χετ ἐκεῖ ἔθαψαν Αβρααμ καὶ Σαρραν τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ (lxx) Gen 25:10 quem emerat a filiis Heth: ibi sepultus est ipse, et Sara uxor ejus.(Vulgate) Gen 25:10 in dem Felde, das Abraham von den Kindern Heth gekauft hatte. Da ist Abraham begraben mit Sara, seinem Weibe.(dhs) 10 ׃25 הַשָּׂדֶ֛ה אֲשֶׁר־קָנָ֥ה אַבְרָהָ֖ם מֵאֵ֣ת בְּנֵי־חֵ֑ת שָׁ֛מָּה קֻבַּ֥ר אַבְרָהָ֖ם וְשָׂרָ֥ה אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:10 the field which Abraham purchased from the sons of Heth. There Abraham was buried, and Sarah his wife.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:11 ============ Gen 25:11 It came about after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac lived by Beer-lahai-roi. (nasb-1995) Gen 25:18 κατῴκησεν δὲ ἀπὸ Ευιλατ ἕως Σουρ ἥ ἐστιν κατὰ πρόσωπον Αἰγύπτου ἕως ἐλθεῖν πρὸς Ἀσσυρίους κατὰ πρόσωπον πάντων τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ κατῴκησεν (lxx) Gen 25:18 Habitavit autem ab Hevila usque Sur, quæ respicit Ægyptum introëuntibus Assyrios; coram cunctis fratribus suis obiit.~(Vulgate) Gen 25:18 Und sie wohnten von Hevila an bis gen Sur vor Ägypten und bis wo man nach Assyrien geht. Er ließ sich aber nieder gegen alle seine Brüder.(dhs) 18 ׃25 וַיִּשְׁכְּנ֨וּ מֽ͏ֵחֲוִילָ֜ה עַד־שׁ֗וּר אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם בֹּאֲכָ֖ה אַשּׁ֑וּרָה עַל־פְּנֵ֥י כָל־אֶחָ֖יו נָפָֽל׃ פ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:18(They dwelt from Havilah as far as Shur, which is east of Egypt as you go toward Assyria.) Da kam Esau vom Felde und war müde(dhs) 29 ׃25 וַיָּ֥זֶד יַעֲקֹ֖ב נָזִ֑יד וַיָּבֹ֥א עֵשָׂ֛ו מִן־הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וְה֥וּא עָיֵֽף׃ Genesis-(Hebrew) Gen 25:29 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 25:30 ============ Gen 25:30 and Esau said to Jacob, "Please let me have a swallow of that red stuff there, for I am famished." Thus Esau despised his birthright.
