For the Lord had purposed to defeat the good advice of Ahithophel, to the intent that the Lord might bring disaster on Absalom.(NKJV) 2Sa 17:14 Da sprach Absalom und jedermann in Israel: Der Rat Husais, des Arachiten, ist besser denn Ahithophels Rat. Aber der HERR schickte es also, daß der gute Rat Ahithophels verhindert wurde, auf daß der HERR Unheil über Absalom brächte.(DE) 2 Samuël 17:14 Toen zeide Absalom, en alle man van Israel: De raad van Husai, den Archiet, is beter dan Achitofels raad.
