Today's Date: 4/9/2025 ======= Ezra 9:1 ============ Ezr 9:1 When these things were done, the leaders came to me, saying, "The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, with respect to the abominations of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.(NKJV) Ezr 9:1 Da das alles war ausgerichtet, traten zu mir die Obersten und sprachen: Das Volk Israel und die Priester und Leviten sind nicht abgesondert von den Völkern in den Ländern nach ihren Greueln, nämlich die Kanaaniter, Hethiter, Pheresiter, Jebusiter, Ammoniter, Moabiter, Ägypter und Amoriter;(DE) Ezra 9:1 Als nu deze dingen voleind waren, traden de vorsten tot mij toe, zeggende: Het volk Israels, en de priesters, en de Levieten, zijn niet afgezonderd van de volken dezer landen, naar hun gruwelen, namelijk van de Kanaanieten, de Hethieten, de Ferezieten, de Jebusieten, de Ammonieten, de Moabieten, de Egyptenaren en Amorieten.(NL) Ezra 9:1 Kuin nämät kaikki olivat päätetyt, niin tulivat päämiehet minun tyköni ja sanoivat: Israelin kansa ja papit ja Leviläiset ei ole erinneet maan kansain, Kanaanealaisten, Hetiläisten, Pheresiläisten, Jebusilaisten, Ammonilaisten, Moabilaisten, Egyptiläisten ja Amorilaisten kauhistuksesta.(FI) Ezr 9:1 Postquam autem hæc completa sunt, accesserunt ad me principes, dicentes: Non est separatus populus Israël, sacerdotes et Levitæ, a populis terrarum et abominationibus eorum: Chananæi videlicet, et Hethæi, et Pherezæi, et Jebusæi, et Ammonitarum, et Moabitarum, et Ægyptiorum, et Amorrhæorum:(Latin) Ezr 9:1 καὶ ὡς ἐτελέσθη ταῦτα ἤγγισαν πρός με οἱ ἄρχοντες λέγοντες οὐκ ἐχωρίσθη ὁ λαὸς Ισραηλ καὶ οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται ἀπὸ λαῶν τῶν γαιῶν ἐν μακρύμμασιν αὐτῶν τῷ Χανανι ὁ Εθι ὁ Φερεζι ὁ Ιεβουσι ὁ Αμμωνι ὁ Μωαβι ὁ Μοσερι καὶ ὁ Αμορι(GR-lxx) Ezra 9:1 When as these things were done, the rulers came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the Priestes, and the Leuites are not separated from the people of the lands (as touching their abominations) to wit, of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Iebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ezra 9:2 ============ Ezr 9:2 For they have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and their sons, so that the holy seed is mixed with the peoples of those lands. Indeed, the hand of the leaders and rulers has been foremost in this trespass."(NKJV) Ezr 9:2 denn sie haben derselben Töchter genommen sich und ihren Söhnen und den heiligen Samen gemein gemacht mit den Völkern in den Ländern. Und die Hand der Obersten und Ratsherren war die vornehmste in dieser Missetat.(DE) Ezra 9:2 Want zij hebben van hun dochteren genomen voor zichzelven en voor hun zonen, zodat zich vermengd hebben het heilig zaad met de volken dezer landen; ja, de hand der vorsten en overheden is de eerste geweest in deze overtreding.(NL) Ezra 9:2 Sillä he ovat ottaneet heidän tyttäriänsä itsellensä ja pojillensa ja ovat sekoittaneet pyhän siemenen maan kansain kanssa; for our iniquities have risen higher than our heads, and our guilt has grown up to the heavens.(NKJV) Ezr 9:6 und sprach: Mein Gott, ich schäme mich und scheue mich, meine Augen aufzuheben zu dir, mein Gott; sillä meidän syntimme ovat enentyneet päämme ylitse ja meidän pahat tekomme ovat kasvaneet hamaan taivaaseen asti.(FI) Ezr 9:6 Et dixi: Deus meus, confundor et erubesco levare faciem meam ad te: quoniam iniquitates nostræ multiplicatæ sunt super caput nostrum, et delicta nostra creverunt usque ad cælum,(Latin) Ezr 9:6 καὶ εἶπα κύριε ᾐσχύνθην καὶ ἐνετράπην τοῦ ὑψῶσαι τὸ πρόσωπόν μου πρὸς σέ ὅτι αἱ ἀνομίαι ἡμῶν ἐπληθύνθησαν ὑπὲρ κεφαλῆς ἡμῶν καὶ αἱ πλημμέλειαι ἡμῶν ἐμεγαλύνθησαν ἕως εἰς οὐρανόν(GR-lxx) Ezra 9:6 And said, O my God, I am confounded & ashamed, to lift vp mine eyes vnto thee my God: for our iniquities are increased ouer our head, & our trespasse is growen vp vnto the heauen.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ezra 9:7 ============ Ezr 9:7 Since the days of our fathers to this day we have been very guilty, and for our iniquities we, our kings, and our priests have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plunder, and to humiliation, as it is this day.(NKJV) Ezr 9:7 Von der Zeit unsrer Väter an sind wir in großer Schuld gewesen bis auf diesen Tag, und um unsrer Missetat willen sind wir und unsre Könige und Priester gegeben in die Hand der Könige in den Ländern, ins Schwert, ins Gefängnis in Raub und in Scham des Angesichts, wie es heutigestages geht.(DE) Ezra 9:7 Van de dagen onzer vaderen af zijn wij in grote schuld tot op dezen dag; en wij zijn om onze ongerechtigheden overgegeven, wij, onze koningen en onze priesters, in de hand van de koningen der landen, in zwaard, in gevangenis, en in roof, en in schaamte des aangezichts, gelijk het is te dezen dage.(NL) Ezra 9:7 Hamasta isäimme ajasta niin tähän päivään saakka olemme me olleet suurissa synneissä;
