and behold, this day they are a desolation, and no one dwells in them,(NKJV) Jer.44:2 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ihr habt gesehen all das Übel, das ich habe kommen lassen über Jerusalem und über alle Städte in Juda; und siehe, heutigestages sind sie wüst, und wohnt niemand darin;(DE) Jeremia 44:2 Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen, de God Israels: Gij hebt gezien al het kwaad, dat Ik gebracht heb over Jeruzalem en over alle steden van Juda; They shall be consumed by the sword and by famine. They shall die, from the least to the greatest, by the sword and by famine; and they shall be an oath, an astonishment, a curse and a reproach!(NKJV) Jer.44:12 Und ich will die übrigen aus Juda nehmen, so ihr Angesicht gerichtet haben, nach Ägyptenland zu ziehen, daß sie daselbst herbergen; es soll ein Ende mit ihnen allen werden in Ägyptenland. Durchs Schwert sollen sie fallen, und durch Hunger umkommen, beide, klein und groß; sie sollen durch Schwert und Hunger sterben und sollen ein Schwur, Wunder, Fluch und Schmach werden.(DE) Jeremia 44:12 En Ik zal het overblijfsel van Juda wegnemen, die hun aangezichten gesteld hebben, om in Egypteland te gaan, om aldaar als vreemdelingen te verkeren; en zij zullen allen in Egypteland verteerd worden; door het zwaard zullen zij vallen, door den honger zullen zij verteerd worden, van den kleinste tot den grootste toe; door het zwaard en door den honger zullen zij sterven; en zij zullen worden tot een vervloeking, tot een ontzetting en tot een vloek, en tot een smaadheid.(NL) Jeremiah 44:12 Ja minä otan jääneet Juudasta, jotka ovat kasvonsa tavoittaneet mennäksensä Egyptin maalle, asumaan siellä, ja he kaikki pitää lopetettaman, Egyptin maalla pitää heidän miekalla kaatuman ja nälällä hukkuman, sekä pienet että suuret; heidän pitää kuoleman miekalla ja nälällä, ja pitää tuleman sadatukseksi, ihmeeksi, kiroukseksi ja häväistykseksi.(FI) Jer 44:12 Et assumam reliquias Judæ, qui posuerunt facies suas ut ingrederentur terram Ægypti, et habitarent ibi, et consumentur omnes in terra Ægypti: cadent in gladio, et in fame, et consumentur a minimo usque ad maximum: in gladio et in fame morientur, et erunt in jusjurandum, et in miraculum, et in maledictionem, et in opprobrium.(Latin) Jer 44:12 ἐξῆλθεν Ιερεμιας ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ τοῦ πορευθῆναι εἰς γῆν Βενιαμιν τοῦ ἀγοράσαι ἐκεῖθεν ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ λαοῦ(GR-lxx) Jeremiah 44:12 And I will take the remnant of Iudah, that haue set their faces to goe into the lande of Egypt there to dwell, and they shall all bee consumed and fall in the lande of Egypt: they shall euen bee consumed by the sworde and by the famine: they shall die from the least vnto the most, by the sworde, and by the famine, and they shall be a detestation and an astonishment and a curse and a reproche.(GB-Geneva) ======= Jeremiah 44:13 ============ Jer 44:13 For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence,(NKJV) Jer.44:13 Ich will auch die Einwohner in Ägyptenland mit Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz heimsuchen, gleichwie ich zu Jerusalem getan habe,(DE) Jeremia 44:13 Want Ik zal bezoeking doen over degenen, die in Egypteland wonen, gelijk als Ik bezoeking gedaan heb over Jeruzalem, door het zwaard, door den honger en door de pestilentie;(NL) Jeremiah 44:13 Minä tahdon rangaista Egyptin maan asuvaisia miekalla, nälällä ja rutolla, niinkuin minä tein Jerusalemille;(FI) Jer 44:13 Et visitabo super habitatores terræ Ægypti sicut visitavi super Jerusalem, in gladio, et fame, et peste:(Latin) Jer 44:13 καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτὸς ἐν πύλῃ Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος παρ᾽ ᾧ κατέλυεν Σαρουιας υἱὸς Σελεμιου υἱοῦ Ανανιου καὶ συνέλαβεν τὸν Ιερεμιαν λέγων πρὸς τοὺς Χαλδαίους σὺ φεύγεις(GR-lxx) Jeremiah 44:13 For I will visite them that dwel in the land of Egypt, as I haue visited Ierusalem, by ye sworde, by the famine, and by the pestilence,(GB-Geneva) ======= Jeremiah 44:14 ============ Jer 44:14 so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone into the land of Egypt to dwell there shall escape or survive, lest they return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and dwell. For none shall return except those who escape.'
