Tu vas aujourd'hui passer le Jourdain, pour te rendre maître de nations plus grandes et plus puissantes que toi, de villes grandes et fortifiées jusqu'au ciel,(F) Deu 9:1 Höre, Israel, du wirst heute über den Jordan gehen, daß du hineinkommest, einzunehmen das Land der Völker, die größer und stärker sind denn du, große Städte vermauert bis in den Himmel,(D) Deu 9:1 ἄκουε Ισραηλ σὺ διαβαίνεις σήμερον τὸν Ιορδάνην εἰσελθεῖν κληρονομῆσαι ἔθνη μεγάλα καὶ ἰσχυρότερα μᾶλλον ἢ ὑμεῖς πόλεις μεγάλας καὶ τειχήρεις ἕως τοῦ οὐρανοῦ(lxx) Deu 9:1 "Hear, O Israel: You are to cross over the Jordan today, and go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to heaven,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:2 ============ Deu 9:2 a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, 'Who can stand before the sons of Anak?'(nasb) Deu 9:2 populum magnum atque sublimem, filios Enacim, quos ipse vidisti et audisti, quibus nullus potest ex adverso resistere.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:2 un pueblo grande y alto, hijos de los anaceos, de los cuales tienes tú conocimiento, y has oído decir: ¿Quién se sostendrá delante de los hijos de Anac?(E) Deutéronome 9:2 d'un peuple grand et de haute taille, les enfants d'Anak, que tu connais, et dont tu as entendu dire: Qui pourra tenir contre les enfants d'Anak?(F) Deu 9:2 ein großes, hohes Volk, die Enakiter, die du kennst, von denen du auch gehört hast: Wer kann wider die Kinder Enak bestehen?(D) Deu 9:2 λαὸν μέγαν καὶ πολὺν καὶ εὐμήκη υἱοὺς Ενακ οὓς σὺ οἶσθα καὶ σὺ ἀκήκοας τίς ἀντιστήσεται κατὰ πρόσωπον υἱῶν Ενακ(lxx) Deu 9:2 a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anakim, whom you know, and of whom you heard it said, 'Who can stand before the descendants of Anak?'(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:3 ============ Deu 9:3 Know therefore today that it is the Lord your God who is crossing over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and He will subdue them before you, so that you may drive them out and destroy them quickly, just as the Lord has spoken to you.(nasb) Deu 9:3 Scies ergo hodie quod Dominus Deus tuus ipse transibit ante te, ignis devorans atque consumens, qui conterat eos, et deleat atque disperdat ante faciem tuam velociter, sicut locutus est tibi:(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:3 Sabe, pues, hoy que Jehová tu Dios es el que pasa delante de ti, fuego consumidor, que los destruirá y humillará delante de ti: y tú los echarás, y los destruirás luego, como Jehová te ha dicho.(E) Deutéronome 9:3 Sache aujourd'hui que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, marchera lui-même devant toi comme un feu dévorant, c'est lui qui les détruira, qui les humiliera devant toi; et tu les chasseras, tu les feras périr promptement, comme l'Eternel te l'a dit.(F) Deu 9:3 So sollst du wissen heute, daß der HERR, dein Gott, vor dir her geht, ein verzehrendes Feuer. Er wird sie vertilgen und wird sie unterwerfen vor dir her, und du wirst sie vertreiben und umbringen bald, wie dir der HERR geredet hat.(D) Deu 9:3 καὶ γνώσῃ σήμερον ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου οὗτος προπορεύεται πρὸ προσώπου σου πῦρ καταναλίσκον ἐστίν οὗτος ἐξολεθρεύσει αὐτούς καὶ οὗτος ἀποστρέψει αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ ἀπολεῖς αὐτούς καθάπερ εἶπέν σοι κύριος(lxx) Deu 9:3 Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:4 ============ Deu 9:4 "Do not say in your heart when the Lord your God has driven them out before you, 'Because of my righteousness the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,' but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is dispossessing them before you.(nasb) Deu 9:4 ne dicas in corde tuo, cum deleverit eos Dominus Deus tuus in conspectu tuo: Propter justitiam meam introduxit me Dominus ut terram hanc possiderem, cum propter impietates suas istæ deletæ sint nationes.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:4 No discurras en tu corazón cuando Jehová tu Dios los habrá echado de delante de ti, diciendo: Por mi justicia me ha metido Jehová a poseer esta tierra; pues por la impiedad de estas naciones Jehová las echa de delante de ti.(E) Deutéronome 9:4 Lorsque l'Eternel, ton Dieu, les chassera devant toi, ne dis pas en ton coeur: C'est à cause de ma justice que l'Eternel me fait entrer en possession de ce pays. Car c'est à cause de la méchanceté de ces nations que l'Eternel les chasse devant toi.(F) Deu 9:4 Wenn nun der HERR, dein Gott, sie ausgestoßen hat vor dir her, so sprich nicht in deinem Herzen: Der HERR hat mich hereingeführt, dies Land einzunehmen, um meiner Gerechtigkeit willen, so doch der HERR diese Heiden vertreibt vor dir her um ihres gottlosen Wesens willen.(D) Deu 9:4 μὴ εἴπῃς ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου ἐν τῷ ἐξαναλῶσαι κύριον τὸν θεόν σου τὰ ἔθνη ταῦτα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου λέγων διὰ τὰς δικαιοσύνας μου εἰσήγαγέν με κύριος κληρονομῆσαι τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθὴν ταύτην ἀλλὰ διὰ τὴν ἀσέβειαν τῶν ἐθνῶν τούτων κύριος ἐξολεθρεύσει αὐτοὺς πρὸ προσώπου σου(lxx) Deu 9:4 Do not think in your heart, after the Lord your God has cast them out before you, saying, 'Because of my righteousness the Lord has brought me in to possess this land'; but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out from before you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:5 ============ Deu 9:5 It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you are going to possess their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God is driving them out before you, in order to confirm the oath which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.(nasb) Deu 9:5 Neque enim propter justitias tuas, et æquitatem cordis tui ingredieris, ut possideas terras earum: sed quia illæ egerunt impie, introëunte te deletæ sunt: et ut compleret verbum suum Dominus, quod sub juramento pollicitus est patribus tuis, Abraham, Isaac, et Jacob.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:5 No por tu justicia, ni por la rectitud de tu corazón entras a poseer la tierra de ellos; mas por la impiedad de estas naciones Jehová tu Dios las echa de delante de ti, y para confirmar la palabra que Jehová juró a tus padres Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob.(E) Deutéronome 9:5 Non, ce n'est point à cause de ta justice et de la droiture de ton coeur que tu entres en possession de leur pays; mais c'est à cause de la méchanceté de ces nations que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, les chasse devant toi, et c'est pour confirmer la parole que l'Eternel a jurée à tes pères, à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob.(F) Deu 9:5 Denn du kommst nicht herein, ihr Land einzunehmen, um deiner Gerechtigkeit und deines aufrichtigen Herzens willen; sondern der HERR, dein Gott, vertreibt diese Heiden um ihres gottlosen Wesens willen, daß er das Wort halte, das der HERR geschworen hat deinen Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob.(D) Deu 9:5 οὐχὶ διὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου οὐδὲ διὰ τὴν ὁσιότητα τῆς καρδίας σου σὺ εἰσπορεύῃ κληρονομῆσαι τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν ἀλλὰ διὰ τὴν ἀσέβειαν τῶν ἐθνῶν τούτων κύριος ἐξολεθρεύσει αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ ἵνα στήσῃ τὴν διαθήκην αὐτοῦ ἣν ὤμοσεν τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν τῷ Αβρααμ καὶ τῷ Ισαακ καὶ τῷ Ιακωβ(lxx) Deu 9:5 It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God drives them out from before you, and that He may fulfill the word which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:6 ============ Deu 9:6 "Know, then, it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stubborn people.(nasb) Deu 9:6 Scito ergo quod non propter justitias tuas Dominus Deus tuus dederit tibi terram hanc optimam in possessionem, cum durissimæ cervicis sis populus.~(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:6 Por tanto, sabe que no por tu justicia Jehová tu Dios te da esta buena tierra para poseerla; que pueblo duro de cerviz eres tú.(E) Deutéronome 9:6 Sache donc que ce n'est point à cause de ta justice que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te donne ce bon pays pour que tu le possèdes; car tu es un peuple au cou roide.(F) Deu 9:6 So wisse nun, daß der HERR, dein Gott, dir nicht um deiner Gerechtigkeit willen dies gute Land gibt einzunehmen, sintemal du ein halsstarriges Volk bist.(D) Deu 9:6 καὶ γνώσῃ σήμερον ὅτι οὐχὶ διὰ τὰς δικαιοσύνας σου κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθὴν ταύτην κληρονομῆσαι ὅτι λαὸς σκληροτράχηλος εἶ(lxx) Deu 9:6 Therefore understand that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:7 ============ Deu 9:7 Remember, do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness; from the day that you left the land of Egypt until you arrived at this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord.(nasb) Deu 9:7 Memento, et ne obliviscaris, quomodo ad iracundiam provocaveris Dominum Deum tuum in solitudine. Ex eo die, quo egressus es ex Ægypto usque ad locum istum, semper adversum Dominum contendisti.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:7 Acuérdate, no te olvides que has provocado a ira a Jehová tu Dios en el desierto: desde el día que saliste de la tierra de Egipto, hasta que entrasteis en este lugar, habéis sido rebeldes a Jehová.(E) Deutéronome 9:7 Souviens-toi, n'oublie pas de quelle manière tu as excité la colère de l'Eternel, ton Dieu, dans le désert. Depuis le jour où tu es sorti du pays d'Egypte jusqu'à votre arrivée dans ce lieu, vous avez été rebelles contre l'Eternel.(F) Deu 9:7 Gedenke, und vergiß nicht, wie du den HERRN, deinen Gott, erzürntest in der Wüste. Von dem Tage an, da du aus Ägyptenland zogst, bis ihr gekommen seid an diesen Ort, seid ihr ungehorsam gewesen dem HERRN.(D) Deu 9:7 μνήσθητι μὴ ἐπιλάθῃ ὅσα παρώξυνας κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας ἐξήλθετε ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἕως ἤλθετε εἰς τὸν τόπον τοῦτον ἀπειθοῦντες διετελεῖτε τὰ πρὸς κύριον(lxx) Deu 9:7 "Remember. Do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day that you departed from the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:8 ============ Deu 9:8 Even at Horeb you provoked the Lord to wrath, and the Lord was so angry with you that He would have destroyed you.(nasb) Deu 9:8 Nam et in Horeb provocasti eum, et iratus delere te voluit,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:8 Y en Horeb provocasteis a ira a Jehová, y se enojó Jehová contra vosotros para destruiros.(E) Deutéronome 9:8 A Horeb, vous excitâtes la colère de l'Eternel; et l'Eternel s'irrita contre vous, et eut la pensée de vous détruire.(F) Deu 9:8 Denn am Horeb erzürntet ihr den HERRN also, daß er vor Zorn euch vertilgen wollte,(D) Deu 9:8 καὶ ἐν Χωρηβ παρωξύνατε κύριον καὶ ἐθυμώθη κύριος ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν ἐξολεθρεῦσαι ὑμᾶς(lxx) Deu 9:8 Also in Horeb you provoked the Lord to wrath, so that the Lord was angry enough with you to have destroyed you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:9 ============ Deu 9:9 When I went up to the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which the Lord had made with you, then I remained on the mountain forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water.(nasb) Deu 9:9 quando ascendi in montem, ut acciperem tabulas lapideas, tabulas pacti quod pepigit vobiscum Dominus: et perseveravi in monte quadraginta diebus ac noctibus, panem non comedens, et aquam non bibens.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:9 Cuando yo subí al monte para recibir las tablas de piedra, las tablas del pacto que Jehová hizo con vosotros, estuve entonces en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, sin comer pan ni beber agua:(E) Deutéronome 9:9 Lorsque je fus monté sur la montagne, pour prendre les tables de pierre, les tables de l'alliance que l'Eternel a traitée avec vous, je demeurai sur la montagne quarante jours et quarante nuits, sans manger de pain et sans boire d'eau;(F) Deu 9:9 da ich auf den Berg gegangen war, die steinernen Tafeln zu empfangen, die Tafeln des Bundes, den der HERR mit euch machte, und ich vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte auf dem Berge blieb und kein Brot aß und kein Wasser trank(D) Deu 9:9 ἀναβαίνοντός μου εἰς τὸ ὄρος λαβεῖν τὰς πλάκας τὰς λιθίνας πλάκας διαθήκης ἃς διέθετο κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς καὶ κατεγινόμην ἐν τῷ ὄρει τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας ἄρτον οὐκ ἔφαγον καὶ ὕδωρ οὐκ ἔπιον(lxx) Deu 9:9 When I went up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which the Lord made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:10 ============ Deu 9:10 The Lord gave me the two tablets of stone written by the finger of God; and on them were all the words which the Lord had spoken with you at the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly.(nasb) Deu 9:10 Deditque mihi Dominus duas tabulas lapideas scriptas digito Dei, et continentes omnia verba quæ vobis locutus est in monte de medio ignis, quando concio populi congregata est.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:10 y me dio Jehová las dos tablas de piedra escritas con el dedo de Dios; y en ellas [estaba escrito] conforme a todas las palabras que os habló Jehová en el monte de en medio del fuego, el día de la asamblea.(E) Deutéronome 9:10 et l'Eternel me donna les deux tables de pierre écrites du doigt de Dieu, et contenant toutes les paroles que l'Eternel vous avait dites sur la montagne, du milieu du feu, le jour de l'assemblée.(F) Deu 9:10 und mir der HERR die zwei steinernen Tafeln gab, mit dem Finger Gottes beschrieben, und darauf alle Worte, die der HERR mit euch aus dem Feuer auf dem Berge geredet hatte am Tage der Versammlung.(D) Deu 9:10 καὶ ἔδωκεν κύριος ἐμοὶ τὰς δύο πλάκας τὰς λιθίνας γεγραμμένας ἐν τῷ δακτύλῳ τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐπ᾽ αὐταῖς ἐγέγραπτο πάντες οἱ λόγοι οὓς ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ ὄρει ἡμέρᾳ ἐκκλησίας(lxx) Deu 9:10 Then the Lord delivered to me two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them were all the words which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:11 ============ Deu 9:11 It came about at the end of forty days and nights that the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.(nasb) Deu 9:11 Cumque transissent quadraginta dies, et totidem noctes, dedit mihi Dominus duas tabulas lapideas, tabulas fœderis,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:11 Y fue al cabo de los cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, que Jehová me dio las dos tablas de piedra, las tablas del pacto.(E) Deutéronome 9:11 Ce fut au bout des quarante jours et des quarante nuits que l'Eternel me donna les deux tables de pierre, les tables de l'alliance.(F) Deu 9:11 Und nach den vierzig Tagen und vierzig Nächten gab mir der HERR die zwei steinernen Tafeln des Bundes(D) Deu 9:11 καὶ ἐγένετο διὰ τεσσαράκοντα ἡμερῶν καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νυκτῶν ἔδωκεν κύριος ἐμοὶ τὰς δύο πλάκας τὰς λιθίνας πλάκας διαθήκης(lxx) Deu 9:11 And it came to pass, at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 9:12 ============ Deu 9:12 Then the Lord said to me, 'Arise, go down from here quickly, for your people whom you brought out of Egypt have acted corruptly. They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them; they have made a molten image for themselves.'(nasb) Deu 9:12 dixitque mihi: Surge, et descende hinc cito: quia populus tuus, quem eduxisti de Ægypto, deseruerunt velociter viam, quam demonstrasti eis, feceruntque sibi conflatile.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 9:12 Y me dijo Jehová: Levántate, desciende aprisa de aquí; que tu pueblo que sacaste de Egipto se ha corrompido; pronto se han apartado del camino que yo les mandé; se han hecho una imagen de fundición.(E) Deutéronome 9:12 L'Eternel me dit alors: Lève-toi, descends en hâte d'ici; car ton peuple, que tu as fait sortir d'Egypte, s'est corrompu. Ils se sont promptement écartés de la voie que je leur avais prescrite; ils se sont fait une image de fonte.(F) Deu 9:12 und sprach zu mir: Mache dich auf, gehe eilend hinab von hinnen; denn dein Volk, das du aus Ägypten geführt hast, hat's verderbt. Pero Jehová me escuchó también esta vez.(E) Deutéronome 9:19 Car j'étais effrayé à la vue de la colère et de la fureur dont l'Eternel était animé contre vous jusqu'à vouloir vous détruire. Mais l'Eternel m'exauça encore cette fois.(F) Deu 9:19 Denn ich fürchtete mich vor dem Zorn und Grimm, mit dem der HERR über euch erzürnt war, daß er euch vertilgen wollte. Aber der HERR erhörte mich auch damals.(D) Deu 9:19 καὶ ἔκφοβός εἰμι διὰ τὴν ὀργὴν καὶ τὸν θυμόν ὅτι παρωξύνθη κύριος ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν ἐξολεθρεῦσαι ὑμᾶς καὶ εἰσήκουσεν κύριος ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τούτῳ(lxx) Deu 9:19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which the Lord was angry with you, to destroy you.
