Today's Date: ======= Deuteronomy 18:1 ============ Deu 18:1 "The Levitical priests, the whole tribe of Levi, shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel; they shall eat the Lord's offerings by fire and His portion.(nasb) Deu 18:1 Non habebunt sacerdotes et Levitæ, et omnes qui de eadem tribu sunt, partem et hæreditatem cum reliquo Israël, quia sacrificia Domini, et oblationes ejus comedent,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:1 Los sacerdotes levitas, toda la tribu de Leví, no tendrán parte ni heredad con Israel; de las ofrendas encendidas a Jehová, y de la heredad de Él comerán.(E) Deutéronome 18:1 Les sacrificateurs, les Lévites, la tribu entière de Lévi, n'auront ni part ni héritage avec Israël; ils se nourriront des sacrifices consumés par le feu en l'honneur de l'Eternel et de l'héritage de l'Eternel.(F) Deu 18:1 Die Priester, die Leviten des ganzen Stammes Levi, sollen nicht Teil noch Erbe haben mit Israel. Deuteronomy 18:2 ============ Deu 18:2 They shall have no inheritance among their countrymen; the Lord is their inheritance, as He promised them.(nasb) Deu 18:2 et nihil aliud accipient de possessione Deutéronome 18:2 Ils n'auront point d'héritage au milieu de leurs frères: l'Eternel sera leur héritage, comme il le leur a dit.(F) Deu 18:2 Darum sollen sie kein Erbe unter ihren Brüdern haben, daß inheritance among their brethren; the Lord is their inheritance, as He said to them.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:3 ============ Deu 18:3 "Now this shall be the priests' due from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, either an ox or a sheep, of which they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the stomach.(nasb) Deu 18:3 Hoc erit judicium sacerdotum a populo, et ab his qui offerunt victimas: sive bovem, sive ovem immolaverint, dabunt sacerdoti armum ac ventriculum:(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:3 Y éste será el derecho de los sacerdotes de parte del pueblo, de los que ofrecieren en sacrificio buey o cordero; darán al sacerdote la espalda, y las quijadas, y el cuajar.(E) Deutéronome 18:3 Voici quel sera le droit des sacrificateurs sur le peuple, sur ceux qui offriront un sacrifice, un boeuf ou un agneau: on donnera au sacrificateur l'épaule, les mâchoires et l'estomac.(F) Deu 18:3 Das soll aber das Recht der Priester sein an dem Volk, an denen, die da opfern, es sei Ochse oder Schaf, daß man dem Priester gebe den Arm und beide Kinnbacken und den Wanst(D) Deu 18:3 καὶ αὕτη ἡ κρίσις τῶν ἱερέων τὰ παρὰ τοῦ λαοῦ παρὰ τῶν θυόντων τὰ θύματα ἐάν τε μόσχον ἐάν τε πρόβατον καὶ δώσει τῷ ἱερεῖ τὸν βραχίονα καὶ τὰ σιαγόνια καὶ τὸ ἔνυστρον(lxx) Deu 18:3 "And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it is bull ἐλαίου σου καὶ τὴν ἀπαρχὴν τῶν κουρῶν τῶν προβάτων σου δώσεις αὐτῷ(lxx) Deu 18:4 The firstfruits of your grain and your new wine and your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:5 ============ Deu 18:5 For the Lord your God has chosen him and his sons from all your tribes, to stand and serve in the name of the Lord forever.(nasb) Deu 18:5 und seine Söhne ewiglich.(D) Deu 18:5 ὅτι αὐτὸν ἐξελέξατο κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐκ πασῶν τῶν φυλῶν σου παρεστάναι ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου λειτουργεῖν καὶ εὐλογεῖν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ(lxx) Deu 18:5 For the Lord your God has chosen him out of all your tribes to stand to minister in the name of the Lord, him and his sons forever.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:6 ============ Deu 18:6 "Now if a Levite comes from any of your towns throughout Israel where he resides, and comes whenever he desires to the place which the Lord chooses,(nasb) Deu 18:6 Si exierit Levites ex una urbium tuarum ex omni Israël in qua habitat, et voluerit venire, desiderans locum quem elegerit Dominus,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:6 Y cuando el levita saliere de alguna de tus ciudades de todo Israel, donde hubiere peregrinado, y viniere con todo deseo de su alma al lugar que Jehová escogiere,(E) Deutéronome 18:6 Lorsque le Lévite quittera l'une de tes portes, le lieu quelconque où il demeure en Israël, pour se rendre, selon la plénitude de son désir, au lieu que choisira l'Eternel,(F) Deu 18:6 Wenn ein Levit kommt aus irgend einem deiner Tore oder sonst irgend aus ganz Israel, da er Gast ist, und kommt nach aller Lust seiner Seele an den Ort, den der HERR erwählen wird,(D) Deu 18:6 ἐὰν δὲ παραγένηται ὁ Λευίτης ἐκ μιᾶς τῶν πόλεων ὑμῶν ἐκ πάντων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὗ αὐτὸς παροικεῖ καθότι ἐπιθυμεῖ ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος(lxx) Deu 18:6 "So if a Levite comes from any of your gates, from where he dwells among all Israel, and comes with all the desire of his mind to the place which the Lord chooses,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:7 ============ Deu 18:7 then he shall serve in the name of the Lord his God, like all his fellow Levites who stand there before the Lord.(nasb) Deu 18:7 ministrabit in nomine Domini Dei sui, sicut omnes fratres ejus Levitæ, qui stabunt eo tempore coram Domino.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:7 ministrará al brethren the Levites do, who stand there before the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:8 ============ Deu 18:8 They shall eat equal portions, except what they receive from the sale of their fathers' estates.(nasb) Deu 18:8 Partem ciborum eamdem accipiet, quam et ceteri: excepto eo, quod in urbe sua ex paterna ei successione debetur.~(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:8 Tendrán porciones iguales para God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations.(nasb) Deu 18:9 Quando ingressus fueris terram, quam Dominus Deus tuus dabit tibi, cave ne imitari velis abominationes illarum gentium.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:9 Cuando hubieres entrado en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, no aprenderás a hacer según las abominaciones de aquellas naciones.(E) Deutéronome 18:9 Lorsque tu seras entré dans le pays que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te donne, tu n'apprendras point à imiter les abominations de ces nations-là.(F) Deu 18:9 Wenn du in das Land kommst, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, geben wird, so sollst du nicht lernen tun die Greuel dieser Völker,(D) Deu 18:9 ἐὰν δὲ εἰσέλθῃς εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι οὐ μαθήσῃ ποιεῖν κατὰ τὰ βδελύγματα τῶν ἐθνῶν ἐκείνων(lxx) Deu 18:9 "When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:10 ============ Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,(nasb) Deu 18:10 Nec inveniatur in te qui lustret filium suum, aut filiam, ducens per ignem: aut qui ariolos sciscitetur, et observet somnia atque auguria, nec sit maleficus,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:10 No sea hallado en ti quien haga pasar a su hijo o a su hija por el fuego, ni quien practique adivinación, ni agorero, ni sortílego, ni hechicero,(E) Deutéronome 18:10 Qu'on ne trouve chez toi personne qui fasse passer son fils ou sa fille par le feu, personne qui exerce le métier de devin, d'astrologue, d'augure, de magicien,(F) Deu 18:10 daß nicht jemand unter dir gefunden werde, der seinen Sohn oder seine Tochter durchs Feuer gehen lasse, oder ein Weissager oder Tagewähler oder der auf Vogelgeschrei achte oder ein Zauberer(D) Deu 18:10 οὐχ εὑρεθήσεται ἐν σοὶ περικαθαίρων τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἢ τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ ἐν πυρί μαντευόμενος μαντείαν κληδονιζόμενος καὶ οἰωνιζόμενος φαρμακός(lxx) Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:11 ============ Deu 18:11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.(nasb) Deu 18:11 nec incantator, nec qui pythones consulat, nec divinos, aut quærat a mortuis veritatem.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:11 ni encantador, ni adivino, ni espiritista, ni quien consulte a los muertos.(E) Deutéronome 18:11 d'enchanteur, personne qui consulte ceux qui évoquent les esprits ou disent la bonne aventure, personne qui interroge les morts.(F) Deu 18:11 oder Beschwörer oder Wahrsager oder Zeichendeuter oder der die Toten frage.(D) Deu 18:11 ἐπαείδων ἐπαοιδήν ἐγγαστρίμυθος καὶ τερατοσκόπος ἐπερωτῶν τοὺς νεκρούς(lxx) Deu 18:11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:12 ============ Deu 18:12 For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you.(nasb) Deu 18:12 Omnia enim hæc abominatur Dominus, et propter istiusmodi scelera delebit eos in introitu tuo.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:12 Porque es abominación a Jehová cualquiera que hace estas cosas, y por estas abominaciones Jehová tu Dios las echa de delante de ti.(E) Deutéronome 18:12 Car quiconque fait ces choses est en abomination à l'Eternel; et c'est à cause de ces abominations que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, va chasser ces nations σου πᾶς ποιῶν ταῦτα ἕνεκεν γὰρ τῶν βδελυγμάτων τούτων κύριος ἐξολεθρεύσει αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ σοῦ(lxx) Deu 18:12 For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations ============ Deu 18:14 For those nations, which you shall dispossess, listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners, but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do so.(nasb) Deu will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not appointed such for you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:15 ============ Deu 18:15 "The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.(nasb) Deu 18:15 Prophetam de gente tua et de fratribus tuis, sicut me, suscitabit tibi Dominus Deus tuus: ipsum audies,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:15 Profeta de en medio de ti, de tus hermanos, como yo, te levantará Jehová tu Dios; a Él oiréis:(E) Deutéronome 18:15 L'Eternel, ton Dieu, te suscitera du milieu de toi, d'entre tes frères, un prophète comme moi: vous l'écouterez!(F) Deu 18:15 Einen Propheten wie mich wird der HERR, dein Gott, dir erwecken aus dir und aus deinen Brüdern; dem sollt ihr from your brethren. Him you shall hear,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:16 ============ Deu 18:16 This is according to all that you asked of the Lord your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, 'Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, let me not see this great fire anymore, or I will die.'(nasb) Deu 18:16 ut petisti a Domino Deo tuo in Horeb, quando concio congregata est, atque dixisti: Ultra non audiam vocem Domini Dei mei, et ignem hunc maximum amplius non videbo, ne moriar.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:16 Conforme a todo lo que pediste a Jehová tu Dios en Horeb el día de la asamblea, diciendo: No vuelva yo a oír la voz de Jehová mi Dios, ni vea yo más este gran fuego, para que no muera.(E) Deutéronome 18:16 Il répondra ainsi à la demande que tu fis à l'Eternel, ton Dieu, à Horeb, le jour de l'assemblée, quand tu disais: Que je n'entende plus la voix de l'Eternel, mon Dieu, et que je ne voie plus ce grand feu, afin de ne pas mourir.(F) Deu 18:16 Wie du denn von dem HERRN, deinem Gott, gebeten hast am Horeb am Tage der Versammlung und sprachst: Ich will hinfort nicht mehr hören die Stimme des HERRN, meines Gottes, und das sehr große Feuer nicht mehr sehen, daß ich nicht sterbe.(D) Deu 18:16 κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ᾐτήσω παρὰ κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ἐν Χωρηβ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς ἐκκλησίας λέγοντες οὐ προσθήσομεν ἀκοῦσαι τὴν φωνὴν κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν καὶ τὸ πῦρ τὸ μέγα τοῦτο οὐκ ὀψόμεθα ἔτι οὐδὲ μὴ ἀποθάνωμεν(lxx) Deu 18:16 according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, 'Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.'(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:17 ============ Deu 18:17 The Lord said to me, 'They have spoken well.(nasb) Deu 18:17 Et ait Dominus mihi: Bene omnia sunt locuti.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:17 Y Jehová me dijo: Han hablado bien en lo que han dicho.(E) Deutéronome 18:17 L'Eternel me dit: Ce qu'ils ont dit est bien.(F) Deu 18:17 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Sie haben wohl geredet.(D) Deu 18:17 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ὀρθῶς πάντα ὅσα ἐλάλησαν(lxx) Deu 18:17 And the Lord said to me: 'What they have spoken is good.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 18:18 ============ Deu 18:18 I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.(nasb) Deu 18:18 Prophetam suscitabo eis de medio fratrum suorum similem tui: et ponam verba mea in ore ejus, loqueturque ad eos omnia quæ præcepero illi.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:18 Profeta les levantaré de en medio de sus hermanos, como tú; The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.(nasb) Deu 18:22 hoc habebis signum: quod in nomine Domini propheta ille prædixerit, et non evenerit: hoc Dominus non est locutus, sed per tumorem animi sui propheta confinxit: et idcirco non timebis eum.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 18:22 Cuando un profeta hable en el nombre de Jehová, y no acontece tal cosa, ni se cumple, es palabra que Jehová no ha hablado; con presunción la habló el tal profeta; no tengas temor de él.(E) Deutéronome 18:22 Quand ce que dira le prophète n'aura pas lieu et n'arrivera pas, ce sera une parole que l'Eternel n'aura point dite. C'est par audace que le prophète l'aura dite: n'aie pas peur de lui.
