Today's Date: ======= Deuteronomy 31:1 ============ Deu 31:1 So Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.(nasb) Deu 31:1 Abiit itaque Moyses, et locutus est omnia verba hæc ad universum Israël,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:1 Y Moisés fue y habló estas palabras a todo Israel,(E) Deutéronome 31:1 Moïse adressa encore ces paroles à tout Israël:(F) Deu 31:1 Und Mose ging hin und redete diese Worte mit dem ganzen Israel(D) Deu 31:1 καὶ συνετέλεσεν Μωυσῆς λαλῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ(lxx) Deu 31:1 Then Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:2 ============ Deu 31:2 And he said to them, "I am a hundred and twenty years old today; I am no longer able to come and go, and the Lord has said to me, 'You shall not cross this Jordan.'(nasb) Deu 31:2 et dixit ad eos: Centum viginti annorum sum hodie; non possum ultra egredi et ingredi, præsertim cum et Dominus dixerit mihi: Non transibis Jordanem istum.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:2 y les dijo: De edad de ciento veinte años soy hoy día; no puedo más salir ni entrar; además [de esto] Jehová me ha dicho: No pasarás este Jordán.(E) Deutéronome 31:2 Aujourd'hui, leur dit-il, je suis âgé de cent vingt ans, je ne pourrai plus sortir et entrer, et l'Eternel m'a dit: Tu ne passeras pas ce Jourdain.(F) Deu 31:2 und sprach zu ihnen: Ich bin heute hundertundzwanzig Jahre alt; ich kann nicht mehr aus noch ein gehen; dazu hat der HERR zu mir gesagt: Du sollst nicht über diesen Jordan gehen.(D) Deu 31:2 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσι ἐτῶν ἐγώ εἰμι σήμερον οὐ δυνήσομαι ἔτι εἰσπορεύεσθαι καὶ ἐκπορεύεσθαι κύριος δὲ εἶπεν πρός με οὐ διαβήσῃ τὸν Ιορδάνην τοῦτον(lxx) Deu 31:2 And he said to them: "I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I can no longer go out and come in. Also the Lord has said to me, 'You shall not cross over this Jordan.'(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:3 ============ Deu 31:3 It is the Lord your God who will cross ahead of you; He will destroy these nations before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua is the one who will cross ahead of you, just as the Lord has spoken.(nasb) Deu 31:3 Dominus ergo Deus tuus transibit ante te: ipse delebit omnes gentes has in conspectu tuo, et possidebis eas: et Josue iste transibit ante te, sicut locutus est Dominus.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:3 Jehová tu Dios, Él pasa delante de ti; Él destruirá estas naciones de delante de ti, y las heredarás: Josué será el que pasará delante de ti, como Jehová ha dicho.(E) Deutéronome 31:3 L'Eternel, ton Dieu, marchera lui-même devant toi, il détruira ces nations devant toi, et tu t'en rendras maître. Josué marchera aussi devant toi, comme l'Eternel l'a dit.(F) Deu 31:3 Der HERR, dein Gott, wird selber vor dir her gehen; er wird selber diese Völker vor dir her vertilgen, daß du ihr Land einnehmest. Josua, der soll vor dir hinübergehen, wie der HERR geredet hat.(D) Deu 31:3 κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου αὐτὸς ἐξολεθρεύσει τὰ ἔθνη ταῦτα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτούς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου καθὰ ἐλάλησεν κύριος(lxx) Deu 31:3 The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua himself crosses over before you, just as the Lord has said.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:4 ============ Deu 31:4 The Lord will do to them just as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, when He destroyed them.(nasb) Deu 31:4 Facietque Dominus eis sicut fecit Sehon et Og regibus Amorrhæorum, et terræ eorum, delebitque eos.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:4 Y Jehová hará con ellos como hizo con Sehón y con Og, reyes de los amorreos, y con su tierra, a quienes destruyó.(E) Deutéronome 31:4 L'Eternel traitera ces nations comme il a traité Sihon et Og, rois des Amoréens, qu'il a détruits avec leur pays.(F) Deu 31:4 Und der HERR wird ihnen tun, wie er getan hat Sihon und Og, den Königen der Amoriter, und ihrem Lande, welche er vertilgt hat.(D) Deu 31:4 καὶ ποιήσει κύριος αὐτοῖς καθὰ ἐποίησεν Σηων καὶ Ωγ τοῖς δυσὶ βασιλεῦσιν τῶν Αμορραίων οἳ ἦσαν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου καὶ τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν καθότι ἐξωλέθρευσεν αὐτούς(lxx) Deu 31:4 And the Lord will do to them as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites and their land, when He destroyed them.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:5 ============ Deu 31:5 The Lord will deliver them up before you, and you shall do to them according to all the commandments which I have commanded you.(nasb) Deu 31:5 Cum ergo et hos tradiderit vobis, similiter facietis eis, sicut præcepi vobis.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:5 Y Jehová los entregará delante de vosotros, y haréis con ellos conforme a todo lo que os he mandado.(E) Deutéronome 31:5 L'Eternel vous les livrera, et vous agirez à leur égard selon tous les ordres que je vous ai donnés.(F) Deu 31:5 Wenn sie nun der HERR vor euch dahingeben wird, so sollt ihr ihnen tun nach allem Gebot, das ich euch geboten habe.(D) Deu 31:5 καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ὑμῖν καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτοῖς καθότι ἐνετειλάμην ὑμῖν(lxx) Deu 31:5 The Lord will give them over to you, that you may do to them according to every commandment which I have commanded you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:6 ============ Deu 31:6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you."(nasb) Deu 31:6 Viriliter agite, et confortamini: nolite timere, nec paveatis ad conspectum eorum: quia Dominus Deus tuus ipse est ductor tuus, et non dimittet, nec derelinquet te.~(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:6 Esforzaos y sed valientes; no temáis, ni tengáis miedo de ellos; porque Jehová tu Dios es el que va contigo; no te dejará ni te desamparará.(E) Deutéronome 31:6 Fortifiez-vous et ayez du courage! Ne craignez point et ne soyez point effrayés devant eux; car l'Eternel, ton Dieu, marchera lui-même avec toi, il ne te délaissera point, il ne t'abandonnera point.(F) Deu 31:6 Seid getrost und unverzagt, fürchtet euch nicht und laßt euch nicht vor ihnen grauen; denn der HERR, dein Gott, wird selber mit dir wandeln und wird die Hand nicht abtun noch dich verlassen.(D) Deu 31:6 ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλία μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἐν ὑμῖν οὐ μή σε ἀνῇ οὔτε μή σε ἐγκαταλίπῃ(lxx) Deu 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:7 ============ Deu 31:7 Then Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall give it to them as an inheritance.(nasb) Deu 31:7 Vocavitque Moyses Josue, et dixit ei coram omni Israël: Confortare, et esto robustus: tu enim introduces populum istum in terram, quam daturum se patribus eorum juravit Dominus, et tu eam sorte divides.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:7 Y llamó Moisés a Josué, y le dijo a vista de todo Israel: Esfuérzate y sé valiente; porque tú entrarás con este pueblo a la tierra que juró Jehová a sus padres que les daría, y tú se la harás heredar.(E) Deutéronome 31:7 Moïse appela Josué, et lui dit en présence de tout Israël: Fortifie-toi et prends courage, car tu entreras avec ce peuple dans le pays que l'Eternel a juré à leurs pères de leur donner, et c'est toi qui les en mettras en possession.(F) Deu 31:7 Und Mose rief zu Josua und sprach zu ihm vor den Augen des ganzen Israel: Sei getrost und unverzagt; denn du wirst dies Volk in das Land bringen, das der HERR ihren Vätern geschworen hat ihnen zu geben, und du wirst es unter sie austeilen.(D) Deu 31:7 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυσῆς Ἰησοῦν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ἔναντι παντὸς Ισραηλ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε σὺ γὰρ εἰσελεύσῃ πρὸ προσώπου τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσεν κύριος τοῖς πατράσιν ἡμῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς καὶ σὺ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτὴν αὐτοῖς(lxx) Deu 31:7 Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:8 ============ Deu 31:8 The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."(nasb) Deu 31:8 Et Dominus qui ductor est vester, ipse erit tecum: non dimittet, nec derelinquet te: noli timere, nec paveas.~(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:8 Y Jehová [es] el que va delante de ti; Él [estará] contigo, no te dejará, ni te desamparará; no temas, ni desmayes.(E) Deutéronome 31:8 L'Eternel marchera lui-même devant toi, il sera lui-même avec toi, il ne te délaissera point, il ne t'abandonnera point; ne crains point, et ne t'effraie point.(F) Deu 31:8 Der HERR aber, der selber vor euch her geht, der wird mit dir sein und wird die Hand nicht abtun noch dich verlassen. Fürchte dich nicht und erschrick nicht.(D) Deu 31:8 καὶ κύριος ὁ συμπορευόμενος μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε οὐδὲ μὴ ἐγκαταλίπῃ σε μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλία(lxx) Deu 31:8 And the Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:9 ============ Deu 31:9 So Moses wrote this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.(nasb) Deu 31:9 Scripsit itaque Moyses legem hanc, et tradidit eam sacerdotibus filiis Levi, qui portabant arcam fœderis Domini, et cunctis senioribus Israël.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:9 Y escribió Moisés esta ley, y la dio a los sacerdotes, hijos de Leví, que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, y a todos los ancianos de Israel.(E) Deutéronome 31:9 Moïse écrivit cette loi, et il la remit aux sacrificateurs, fils de Lévi, qui portaient l'arche de l'alliance de l'Eternel, et à tous les anciens d'Israël.(F) Deu 31:9 Und Mose schrieb dies Gesetz und gab's den Priestern, den Kindern Levi, die die Lade des Bundes trugen, und allen Ältesten Israels(D) Deu 31:9 καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυσῆς τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ νόμου τούτου εἰς βιβλίον καὶ ἔδωκεν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν τοῖς υἱοῖς Λευι τοῖς αἴρουσιν τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης κυρίου καὶ τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ(lxx) Deu 31:9 So Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:10 ============ Deu 31:10 Then Moses commanded them, saying, "At the end of every seven years, at the time of the year of remission of debts, at the Feast of Booths,(nasb) Deu 31:10 Præcepitque eis, dicens: Post septem annos, anno remissionis, in solemnitate tabernaculorum,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:10 Y les mandó Moisés, diciendo: Al fin de [cada] siete años, en el año de la remisión, en la fiesta de los tabernáculos,(E) Deutéronome 31:10 Moïse leur donna cet ordre: Tous les sept ans, à l'époque de l'année du relâche, à la fête des tabernacles,(F) Deu 31:10 und gebot ihnen und sprach: Je nach sieben Jahren, zur Zeit des Erlaßjahrs, am Fest der Laubhütten,(D) Deu 31:10 καὶ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς Μωυσῆς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων μετὰ ἑπτὰ ἔτη ἐν καιρῷ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἀφέσεως ἐν ἑορτῇ σκηνοπηγίας(lxx) Deu 31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying: "At the end of every seven years, at the appointed time in the year of release, at the Feast of Tabernacles,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:11 ============ Deu 31:11 when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God at the place which He will choose, you shall read this law in front of all Israel in their hearing.(nasb) Deu 31:11 convenientibus cunctis ex Israël, ut appareant in conspectu Domini Dei tui in loco quem elegerit Dominus, leges verba legis hujus coram omni Israël, audientibus eis,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:11 cuando viniere todo Israel a presentarse delante de Jehová tu Dios en el lugar que Él escogiere, leerás esta ley delante de todo Israel a oídos de ellos.(E) Deutéronome 31:11 quand tout Israël viendra se présenter devant l'Eternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu qu'il choisira, tu liras cette loi devant tout Israël, en leur présence.(F) Deu 31:11 wenn das ganze Israel kommt, zu erscheinen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, an dem Ort, den er erwählen wird, sollst du dieses Gesetz vor dem ganzen Israel ausrufen lassen vor ihren Ohren,(D) Deu 31:11 ἐν τῷ συμπορεύεσθαι πάντα Ισραηλ ὀφθῆναι ἐνώπιον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ἐν τῷ τόπῳ ᾧ ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ἀναγνώσεσθε τὸν νόμον τοῦτον ἐναντίον παντὸς Ισραηλ εἰς τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν(lxx) Deu 31:11 when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:12 ============ Deu 31:12 Assemble the people, the men and the women and children and the alien who is in your town, so that they may hear and learn and fear the Lord your God, and be careful to observe all the words of this law.(nasb) Deu 31:12 et in unum omni populo congregato, tam viris quam mulieribus, parvulis, et advenis, qui sunt intra portas tuas: ut audientes discant, et timeant Dominum Deum vestrum, et custodiant, impleantque omnes sermones legis hujus.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:12 Harás congregar al pueblo, varones y mujeres y niños, y tus extranjeros que estuvieren en tus ciudades, para que oigan y aprendan, y teman a Jehová vuestro Dios, y cuiden de poner por obra todas las palabras de esta ley:(E) Deutéronome 31:12 Tu rassembleras le peuple, les hommes, les femmes, les enfants, et l'étranger qui sera dans tes portes, afin qu'ils t'entendent, et afin qu'ils apprennent à craindre l'Eternel, votre Dieu, à observer et à mettre en pratique toutes les paroles de cette loi.(F) Deu 31:12 nämlich vor der Versammlung des Volks (der Männer, Weiber und Kinder und deines Fremdlings, der in deinem Tor ist), auf daß sie es hören und lernen den HERRN, euren Gott, fürchten und es zu halten, daß sie tun alle Worte dieses Gesetzes,(D) Deu 31:12 ἐκκλησιάσας τὸν λαόν τοὺς ἄνδρας καὶ τὰς γυναῖκας καὶ τὰ ἔκγονα καὶ τὸν προσήλυτον τὸν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ὑμῶν ἵνα ἀκούσωσιν καὶ ἵνα μάθωσιν φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμῶν καὶ ἀκούσονται ποιεῖν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου(lxx) Deu 31:12 Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:13 ============ Deu 31:13 Their children, who have not known, will hear and learn to fear the Lord your God, as long as you live on the land which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess."(nasb) Deu 31:13 Filii quoque eorum qui nunc ignorant, ut audire possint, et timeant Dominum Deum suum cunctis diebus quibus versantur in terra, ad quam vos, Jordane transmisso, pergitis obtinendam.~(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:13 y para que los hijos de ellos que no supieron, oigan, y aprendan a temer a Jehová vuestro Dios, mientras viváis en la tierra adonde vais, cruzando el Jordán para poseerla.(E) Deutéronome 31:13 Et leurs enfants qui ne la connaîtront pas l'entendront, et ils apprendront à craindre l'Eternel, votre Dieu, tout le temps que vous vivrez dans le pays dont vous prendrez possession, après avoir passé le Jourdain.(F) Deu 31:13 und daß ihre Kinder, die es nicht wissen, es auch hören und lernen den HERRN, euren Gott, fürchten alle Tage, die ihr in dem Lande lebt, darein ihr gehet über den Jordan, es einzunehmen.(D) Deu 31:13 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν οἳ οὐκ οἴδασιν ἀκούσονται καὶ μαθήσονται φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμῶν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ὅσας αὐτοὶ ζῶσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ιορδάνην ἐκεῖ κληρονομῆσαι αὐτήν(lxx) Deu 31:13 and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess."(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:14 ============ Deu 31:14 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, the time for you to die is near; call Joshua, and present yourselves at the tent of meeting, that I may commission him." So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves at the tent of meeting.(nasb) Deu 31:14 Et ait Dominus ad Moysen: Ecce prope sunt dies mortis tuæ: voca Josue, et state in tabernaculo testimonii, ut præcipiam ei. Abierunt ergo Moyses et Josue, et steterunt in tabernaculo testimonii:(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:14 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: He aquí se ha acercado el día en que has de morir; llama a Josué, y presentaos en el tabernáculo de la congregación para que yo le dé el cargo. Fueron, pues, Moisés y Josué, y se presentaron en el tabernáculo de la congregación.(E) Deutéronome 31:14 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Voici, le moment approche où tu vas mourir. Appelle Josué, et présentez-vous dans la tente d'assignation. Je lui donnerai mes ordres. Moïse et Josué allèrent se présenter dans la tente d'assignation.(F) Deu 31:14 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Siehe, deine Zeit ist herbeigekommen, daß du stirbst. Rufe Josua und tretet in die Hütte des Stifts, daß ich ihm Befehl tue. Mose ging hin mit Josua, und sie traten in die Hütte des Stifts.(D) Deu 31:14 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἰδοὺ ἠγγίκασιν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ θανάτου σου κάλεσον Ἰησοῦν καὶ στῆτε παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐντελοῦμαι αὐτῷ καὶ ἐπορεύθη Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔστησαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου(lxx) Deu 31:14 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, the days approach when you must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of meeting, that I may inaugurate him." So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:15 ============ Deu 31:15 The Lord appeared in the tent in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood at the doorway of the tent.(nasb) Deu 31:15 apparuitque Dominus ibi in columna nubis, quæ stetit in introitu tabernaculi.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:15 Y se apareció Jehová en el tabernáculo, en la columna de nube; y la columna de nube se puso sobre la puerta del tabernáculo.(E) Deutéronome 31:15 Et l'Eternel apparut dans la tente dans une colonne de nuée; et la colonne de nuée s'arrêta à l'entrée de la tente.(F) Deu 31:15 Der HERR aber erschien in der Hütte in einer Wolkensäule, und die Wolkensäule stand in der Hütte Tür.(D) Deu 31:15 καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν νεφέλῃ καὶ ἔστη παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔστη ὁ στῦλος τῆς νεφέλης παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς(lxx) Deu 31:15 Now the Lord appeared at the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood above the door of the tabernacle.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:16 ============ Deu 31:16 The Lord said to Moses, "Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers; and this people will arise and play the harlot with the strange gods of the land, into the midst of which they are going, and will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.(nasb) Deu 31:16 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Ecce tu dormies cum patribus tuis, et populus iste consurgens fornicabitur post deos alienos in terra, ad quam ingreditur ut habitet in ea: ibi derelinquet me, et irritum faciet fœdus, quod pepigi cum eo.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 31:16 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: He aquí tú vas a dormir con tus padres, y este pueblo se levantará y fornicará tras los dioses ajenos de la tierra adonde va para estar en medio de ellos; y me dejará, y quebrantará mi pacto que he concertado con él.(E) Deutéronome 31:16 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Voici, tu vas être couché avec tes pères. Et ce peuple se lèvera, et se prostituera après les dieux étrangers du pays au milieu duquel il entre.
