Today's Date: ======= Judges 2:1 ============ Jdg 2:1 Now the angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, "I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land which I have sworn to your fathers; and I said, 'I will never break My covenant with you,(nasb) Jdg 2:1 Ascenditque angelus Domini de Galgalis ad Locum flentium, et ait: Eduxi vos de Ægypto, et introduxi in terram, pro qua juravi patribus vestris: et pollicitus sum ut non facerem irritum pactum meum vobiscum in sempiternum,(vulgate) Jueces 2:1 Y el Ángel de Jehová subió de Gilgal a Boquim, y dijo: Yo os saqué de Egipto, y os introduje en la tierra de la cual había jurado a vuestros padres; y dije: No invalidaré jamás mi pacto con vosotros;(E) Juges 2:1 Un envoyé de l'Eternel monta de Guilgal à Bokim, et dit: Je vous ai fait monter hors d'Egypte, et je vous ai amenés dans le pays que j'ai juré à vos pères de vous donner. J'ai dit: Jamais je ne romprai mon alliance avec vous;(F) Jdg 2:1 Es kam aber der Engel des HERRN herauf von Gilgal gen Bochim und sprach: Ich habe euch aus Ägypten heraufgeführt und in das Land gebracht, das ich euren Vätern geschworen habe, und sprach, ich wollte meinen Bund mit euch nicht brechen ewiglich;(D) Jdg 2:1 καὶ ἀνέβη ἄγγελος κυρίου ἀπὸ Γαλγαλ ἐπὶ τὸν Κλαυθμῶνα καὶ ἐπὶ Βαιθηλ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον Ισραηλ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνεβίβασα ὑμᾶς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ εἰσήγαγον ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν καὶ εἶπα οὐ διασκεδάσω τὴν διαθήκην μου τὴν μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα(lxx) Jdg 2:1 Then the Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said: "I led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said, 'I will never break My covenant with you.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:2 ============ Jdg 2:2 and as for you, you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.' But you have not obeyed Me; what is this you have done?(nasb) Jdg 2:2 ita dumtaxat ut non feriretis fœdus cum habitatoribus terræ hujus, sed aras eorum subverteretis: et noluistis audire vocem meam: cur hoc fecistis?(vulgate) Jueces 2:2 con tal que vosotros no hagáis alianza con los moradores de esta tierra, cuyos altares habéis de derribar: mas vosotros no habéis obedecido a mi voz: ¿por qué habéis hecho esto?(E) Juges 2:2 et vous, vous ne traiterez point alliance avec les habitants de ce pays, vous renverserez leurs autels. Mais vous n'avez point obéi à ma voix. Pourquoi avez-vous fait cela?(F) Jdg 2:2 ihr aber solltet keinen Bund machen mit den Einwohnern dieses Landes und ihre Altäre zerbrechen. Aber ihr habt meiner Stimme nicht gehorcht. Warum habt ihr das getan?(D) Jdg 2:2 καὶ ὑμεῖς οὐ διαθήσεσθε διαθήκην τοῖς ἐγκαθημένοις εἰς τὴν γῆν ταύτην οὐδὲ τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν προσκυνήσετε ἀλλὰ τὰ γλυπτὰ αὐτῶν συντρίψετε καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια αὐτῶν καθελεῖτε καὶ οὐκ εἰσηκούσατε τῆς φωνῆς μου ὅτι ταῦτα ἐποιήσατε(lxx) Jdg 2:2 And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.' But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this?(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:3 ============ Jdg 2:3 Therefore I also said, 'I will not drive them out before you; but they will become as thorns in your sides and their gods will be a snare to you.'"(nasb) Jdg 2:3 Quam ob rem nolui delere eos a facie vestra: ut habeatis hostes, et dii eorum sint vobis in ruinam.(vulgate) Jueces 2:3 Por tanto yo también dije: No los echaré de delante de vosotros, sino que serán [como espinas] en vuestros costados, y sus dioses os serán por tropiezo.(E) Juges 2:3 J'ai dit alors: Je ne les chasserai point devant vous; mais ils seront à vos côtés, et leurs dieux vous seront un piège.(F) Jdg 2:3 Da sprach ich auch: Ich will sie nicht vertreiben vor euch, daß sie euch zum Strick werden und ihre Götter zum Netz.(D) Jdg 2:3 κἀγὼ εἶπον οὐ μὴ ἐξαρῶ αὐτοὺς ἐκ προσώπου ὑμῶν καὶ ἔσονται ὑμῖν εἰς συνοχάς καὶ οἱ θεοὶ αὐτῶν ἔσονται ὑμῖν εἰς σκάνδαλον(lxx) Jdg 2:3 Therefore I also said, 'I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.' "(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:4 ============ Jdg 2:4 When the angel of the Lord spoke these words to all the sons of Israel, the people lifted up their voices and wept.(nasb) Jdg 2:4 Cumque loqueretur angelus Domini hæc verba ad omnes filios Israël, elevaverunt ipsi vocem suam, et fleverunt.(vulgate) Jueces 2:4 Y aconteció que cuando el Ángel de Jehová habló estas palabras a todos los hijos de Israel, el pueblo lloró en alta voz.(E) Juges 2:4 Lorsque l'envoyé de l'Eternel eut dit ces paroles à tous les enfants d'Israël, le peuple éleva la voix et pleura.(F) Jdg 2:4 Und da der Engel des HERRN solche Worte geredet hatte zu allen Kinder Israel, hob das Volk seine Stimme auf und weinte,(D) Jdg 2:4 καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἐλάλησεν ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπῆραν ὁ λαὸς τὴν φωνὴν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔκλαυσαν(lxx) Jdg 2:4 So it was, when the Angel of the Lord spoke these words to all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voices and wept.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:5 ============ Jdg 2:5 So they named that place Bochim; and there they sacrificed to the Lord.(nasb) Jdg 2:5 Et vocatum est nomen loci illius, Locus flentium, sive lacrimarum: immolaveruntque ibi hostias Domini.~(vulgate) Jueces 2:5 Y llamaron por nombre aquel lugar Boquim; y ofrecieron allí sacrificios a Jehová.(E) Juges 2:5 Ils donnèrent à ce lieu le nom de Bokim, et ils y offrirent des sacrifices à l'Eternel.(F) Jdg 2:5 und hießen die Stätte Bochim und opferten daselbst dem HERRN.(D) Jdg 2:5 καὶ ἐπωνόμασαν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου Κλαυθμῶνες καὶ ἐθυσίασαν ἐκεῖ τῷ κυρίῳ(lxx) Jdg 2:5 Then they called the name of that place Bochim; and they sacrificed there to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:6 ============ Jdg 2:6 When Joshua had dismissed the people, the sons of Israel went each to his inheritance to possess the land.(nasb) Jdg 2:6 Dimisit ergo Josue populum, et abierunt filii Israël unusquisque in possessionem suam, ut obtinerent eam:(vulgate) Jueces 2:6 Porque ya Josué había despedido al pueblo, y los hijos de Israel se habían ido cada uno a su heredad para poseerla.(E) Juges 2:6 Josué renvoya le peuple, et les enfants d'Israël allèrent chacun dans son héritage pour prendre possession du pays.(F) Jdg 2:6 Als Josua das Volk von sich gelassen hatte und die Kinder Israel hingezogen waren, ein jeglicher in sein Erbteil, das Land einzunehmen,(D) Jdg 2:6 καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν Ἰησοῦς τὸν λαόν καὶ ἦλθεν ἀνὴρ εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ κατακληρονομῆσαι τὴν γῆν(lxx) Jdg 2:6 And when Joshua had dismissed the people, the children of Israel went each to his own inheritance to possess the land.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:7 ============ Jdg 2:7 The people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who survived Joshua, who had seen all the great work of the Lord which He had done for Israel.(nasb) Jdg 2:7 servieruntque Domino cunctis diebus ejus, et seniorum, qui longo post eum vixerunt tempore, et noverant omnia opera Domini quæ fecerat cum Israël.(vulgate) Jueces 2:7 Y el pueblo había servido a Jehová todo el tiempo de Josué, y todo el tiempo de los ancianos que vivieron largos días después de Josué, los cuales habían visto todas las grandes obras de Jehová, que Él había hecho por Israel.(E) Juges 2:7 Le peuple servit l'Eternel pendant toute la vie de Josué, et pendant toute la vie des anciens qui survécurent à Josué et qui avaient vu toutes les grandes choses que l'Eternel avait faites en faveur d'Israël.(F) Jdg 2:7 diente das Volk dem HERRN, solange Josua lebte und die Ältesten, die noch lange nach Josua lebten und alle die großen Werke des HERRN gesehen hatten, die er getan hatte.(D) Jdg 2:7 καὶ ἐδούλευσεν ὁ λαὸς τῷ κυρίῳ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας Ἰησοῦ καὶ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῶν πρεσβυτέρων ὅσοι ἐμακροημέρευσαν μετὰ Ἰησοῦ ὅσοι ἔγνωσαν πᾶν τὸ ἔργον κυρίου τὸ μέγα ὃ ἐποίησεν ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ(lxx) Jdg 2:7 So the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the Lord which He had done for Israel.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:8 ============ Jdg 2:8 Then Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the age of one hundred and ten.(nasb) Jdg 2:8 Mortuus est autem Josue filius Nun, famulus Domini, centum et decem annorum,(vulgate) Jueces 2:8 Y murió Josué hijo de Nun, siervo de Jehová, [siendo] de ciento diez años.(E) Juges 2:8 Josué, fils de Nun, serviteur de l'Eternel, mourut âgé de cent dix ans.(F) Jdg 2:8 Da nun Josua, der Sohn Nuns, gestorben war, der Knecht des HERRN, als er hundertundzehn Jahre alt war,(D) Jdg 2:8 καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Ναυη δοῦλος κυρίου υἱὸς ἑκατὸν δέκα ἐτῶν(lxx) Jdg 2:8 Now Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died when he was one hundred and ten years old.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:9 ============ Jdg 2:9 And they buried him in the territory of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.(nasb) Jdg 2:9 et sepelierunt eum in finibus possessionis suæ in Thamnathsare in monte Ephraim, a septentrionali plaga montis Gaas.(vulgate) Jueces 2:9 Y lo enterraron en el término de su heredad en Timnat-sera, en el monte de Efraín, el norte del monte de Gaas.(E) Juges 2:9 On l'ensevelit dans le territoire qu'il avait eu en partage, à Thimnath-Hérès, dans la montagne d'Ephraïm, au nord de la montagne de Gaasch.(F) Jdg 2:9 begruben sie ihn in den Grenzen seines Erbteile zu Thimnath-Heres auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, mitternachtwärts vom Berge Gaas.(D) Jdg 2:9 καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν ὁρίῳ τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτοῦ ἐν Θαμναθαρες ἐν ὄρει Εφραιμ ἀπὸ βορρᾶ τοῦ ὄρους Γαας(lxx) Jdg 2:9 And they buried him within the border of his inheritance at Timnath Heres, in the mountains of Ephraim, on the north side of Mount Gaash.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:10 ============ Jdg 2:10 All that generation also were gathered to their fathers; and there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord, nor yet the work which He had done for Israel.(nasb) Jdg 2:10 Omnisque illa generatio congregata est ad patres suos: et surrexerunt alii, qui non noverant Dominum, et opera quæ fecerat cum Israël.~(vulgate) Jueces 2:10 Y toda aquella generación fue también recogida con sus padres. Y se levantó después de ellos otra generación, que no conocía a Jehová, ni la obra que Él había hecho por Israel.(E) Juges 2:10 Toute cette génération fut recueillie auprès de ses pères, et il s'éleva après elle une autre génération, qui ne connaissait point l'Eternel, ni ce qu'il avait fait en faveur d'Israël.(F) Jdg 2:10 Da auch alle, die zu der Zeit gelebt hatten, zu ihren Vätern versammelt wurden, kam nach ihnen ein andres Geschlecht auf, das den HERRN nicht kannte noch sein Werke, die er an Israel getan hatte.(D) Jdg 2:10 καί γε πᾶσα ἡ γενεὰ ἐκείνη προσετέθησαν πρὸς τοὺς πατέρας αὐτῶν καὶ ἀνέστη γενεὰ ἑτέρα μετ᾽ αὐτούς οἳ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τὸν κύριον καί γε τὸ ἔργον ὃ ἐποίησεν ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ(lxx) Jdg 2:10 When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:11 ============ Jdg 2:11 Then the sons of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord and served the Baals,(nasb) Jdg 2:11 Feceruntque filii Israël malum in conspectu Domini, et servierunt Baalim.(vulgate) Jueces 2:11 Y los hijos de Israel hicieron lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, y sirvieron a los Baales:(E) Juges 2:11 Les enfants d'Israël firent alors ce qui déplaît à l'Eternel, et ils servirent les Baals.(F) Jdg 2:11 Da taten die Kinder Israel übel vor dem HERRN und dienten den Baalim(D) Jdg 2:11 καὶ ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ ἐλάτρευσαν τοῖς Βααλιμ(lxx) Jdg 2:11 Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served the Baals;(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:12 ============ Jdg 2:12 and they forsook the Lord, the God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods from among the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed themselves down to them; thus they provoked the Lord to anger.(nasb) Jdg 2:12 Ac dimiserunt Dominum Deum patrum suorum, qui eduxerat eos de terra Ægypti, et secuti sunt deos alienos, deosque populorum, qui habitabant in circuitu eorum, et adoraverunt eos: et ad iracundiam concitaverunt Dominum,(vulgate) Jueces 2:12 Y dejaron a Jehová el Dios de sus padres, que los había sacado de la tierra de Egipto, y se fueron tras otros dioses, los dioses de los pueblos que [estaban] en sus alrededores, a los cuales adoraron; y provocaron a ira a Jehová.(E) Juges 2:12 Ils abandonnèrent l'Eternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, qui les avait fait sortir du pays d'Egypte, et ils allèrent après d'autres dieux d'entre les dieux des peuples qui les entouraient; ils se prosternèrent devant eux, et ils irritèrent l'Eternel.(F) Jdg 2:12 und verließen den HERRN, ihrer Väter Gott, der sie aus Ägyptenland geführt hatte, und folgten andern Göttern nach von den Göttern der Völker, die um sie her wohnten, und beteten sie an und erzürnten den HERRN;(D) Jdg 2:12 καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον τὸν κύριον τὸν θεὸν τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν τὸν ἐξαγαγόντα αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὀπίσω θεῶν ἑτέρων ἀπὸ τῶν θεῶν τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν περικύκλῳ αὐτῶν καὶ προσεκύνησαν αὐτοῖς καὶ παρώργισαν τὸν κύριον(lxx) Jdg 2:12 and they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt; and they followed other gods from among the gods of the people who were all around them, and they bowed down to them; and they provoked the Lord to anger.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:13 ============ Jdg 2:13 So they forsook the Lord and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.(nasb) Jdg 2:13 dimittentes eum, et servientes Baal et Astaroth.(vulgate) Jueces 2:13 Y dejaron a Jehová, y adoraron a Baal y a Astarot.(E) Juges 2:13 Ils abandonnèrent l'Eternel, et ils servirent Baal et les Astartés.(F) Jdg 2:13 denn sie verließen je und je den HERRN und dienten Baal und den Astharoth.(D) Jdg 2:13 καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον αὐτὸν καὶ ἐλάτρευσαν τῷ Βααλ καὶ ταῖς Ἀστάρταις(lxx) Jdg 2:13 They forsook the Lord and served Baal and the Ashtoreths.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:14 ============ Jdg 2:14 The anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He gave them into the hands of plunderers who plundered them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies around them, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.(nasb) Jdg 2:14 Iratusque Dominus contra Israël, tradidit eos in manus diripientium: qui ceperunt eos, et vendiderunt hostibus qui habitabant per gyrum: nec potuerunt resistere adversariis suis,(vulgate) Jueces 2:14 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Israel, el cual los entregó en manos de robadores que los saquearon, y los vendió en manos de sus enemigos de alrededor: y ya no pudieron estar de pie delante de sus enemigos.(E) Juges 2:14 La colère de l'Eternel s'enflamma contre Israël. Il les livra entre les mains de pillards qui les pillèrent, il les vendit entre les mains de leurs ennemis d'alentour, et ils ne purent plus résister à leurs ennemis.(F) Jdg 2:14 So ergrimmte der Zorn des HERRN über Israel und gab sie in die Hand der Räuber, daß diese sie beraubten, und verkaufte sie in die Hände ihrer Feinde umher. Und sie konnten nicht mehr ihren Feinden widerstehen;(D) Jdg 2:14 καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμῷ κύριος ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς χεῖρας προνομευόντων καὶ κατεπρονόμευσαν αὐτούς καὶ ἀπέδοτο αὐτοὺς ἐν χερσὶ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν κυκλόθεν καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ἔτι ἀντιστῆναι κατὰ πρόσωπον τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν(lxx) Jdg 2:14 And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel. So He delivered them into the hands of plunderers who despoiled them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:15 ============ Jdg 2:15 Wherever they went, the hand of the Lord was against them for evil, as the Lord had spoken and as the Lord had sworn to them, so that they were severely distressed.(nasb) Jdg 2:15 sed quocumque pergere voluissent, manus Domini super eos erat, sicut locutus est, et juravit eis, et vehementer afflicti sunt.~(vulgate) Jueces 2:15 Por dondequiera que salían, la mano de Jehová era contra ellos para mal, como Jehová había dicho, y como Jehová se lo había jurado; así los afligió en gran manera.(E) Juges 2:15 Partout où ils allaient, la main de l'Eternel était contre eux pour leur faire du mal, comme l'Eternel l'avait dit, comme l'Eternel le leur avait juré. Ils furent ainsi dans une grande détresse.(F) Jdg 2:15 sondern wo sie hinaus wollten, da war des HERRN Hand wider sie zum Unglück, wie denn der HERR ihnen gesagt und geschworen hatte. Und sie wurden hart gedrängt.(D) Jdg 2:15 ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς ἐξεπορεύοντο καὶ χεὶρ κυρίου ἦν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς εἰς κακά καθὼς ἐλάλησεν κύριος καὶ καθὼς ὤμοσεν κύριος αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐξέθλιψεν αὐτοὺς σφόδρα(lxx) Jdg 2:15 Wherever they went out, the hand of the Lord was against them for calamity, as the Lord had said, and as the Lord had sworn to them. And they were greatly distressed.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:16 ============ Jdg 2:16 Then the Lord raised up judges who delivered them from the hands of those who plundered them.(nasb) Jdg 2:16 Suscitavitque Dominus judices, qui liberarent eos de vastantium manibus: sed nec eos audire voluerunt,(vulgate) Jueces 2:16 Mas Jehová levantó jueces que los librasen de mano de los que los saqueaban.(E) Juges 2:16 L'Eternel suscita des juges, afin qu'ils les délivrassent de la main de ceux qui les pillaient.(F) Jdg 2:16 Wenn dann der HERR Richter auferweckte, die ihnen halfen aus der Räuber Hand,(D) Jdg 2:16 καὶ ἤγειρεν κύριος κριτάς καὶ ἔσωσεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐκ χειρὸς τῶν προνομευόντων αὐτούς(lxx) Jdg 2:16 Nevertheless, the Lord raised up judges who delivered them out of the hand of those who plundered them.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:17 ============ Jdg 2:17 Yet they did not listen to their judges, for they played the harlot after other gods and bowed themselves down to them. They turned aside quickly from the way in which their fathers had walked in obeying the commandments of the Lord; they did not do as their fathers.(nasb) Jdg 2:17 fornicantes cum diis alienis, et adorantes eos. Cito deseruerunt viam, per quam ingressi fuerant patres eorum: et audientes mandata Domini, omnia fecere contraria.(vulgate) Jueces 2:17 Y tampoco oyeron a sus jueces, sino que fornicaron tras dioses ajenos, a los cuales adoraron; se apartaron pronto del camino en que anduvieron sus padres obedeciendo a los mandamientos de Jehová; pero ellos no hicieron así.(E) Juges 2:17 Mais ils n'écoutèrent pas même leurs juges, car ils se prostituèrent à d'autres dieux, se prosternèrent devant eux. Ils se détournèrent promptement de la voie qu'avaient suivie leurs pères, et ils n'obéirent point comme eux aux commandements de l'Eternel.(F) Jdg 2:17 so gehorchten sie den Richtern auch nicht, sondern liefen andern Göttern nach und beteten sie an und wichen bald von dem Weg, darauf ihre Väter gegangen waren, des HERRN Geboten zu gehorchen, und taten nicht wie dieselben.(D) Jdg 2:17 καί γε τῶν κριτῶν οὐχ ὑπήκουσαν ὅτι ἐξεπόρνευσαν ὀπίσω θεῶν ἑτέρων καὶ προσεκύνησαν αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐξέκλιναν ταχὺ ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ ἧς ἐπορεύθησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν τοῦ εἰσακούειν τῶν λόγων κυρίου οὐκ ἐποίησαν οὕτως(lxx) Jdg 2:17 Yet they would not listen to their judges, but they played the harlot with other gods, and bowed down to them. Non dimiserunt adinventiones suas, et viam durissimam per quam ambulare consueverunt.(vulgate) Jueces 2:19 Pero acontecía que al morir el juez, ellos volvían atrás y se corrompían aun más que sus padres, siguiendo a dioses ajenos para servirles, e inclinándose delante de ellos; y no desistían de sus obras, ni de su obstinado camino.(E) Juges 2:19 Mais, à la mort du juge, ils se corrompaient de nouveau plus que leurs pères, en allant après d'autres dieux pour les servir et se prosterner devant eux, et ils persévéraient dans la même conduite et le même endurcissement.(F) Jdg 2:19 Wenn aber der Richter starb, so wandten sie sich und verderbten es mehr denn ihre Väter, daß sie andern Göttern folgten, ihnen zu dienen und sie anzubeten; sie ließen nicht von ihrem Vornehmen noch von ihrem halsstarrigen Wesen.(D) Jdg 2:19 καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἀπέθνῃσκεν ὁ κριτής καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν καὶ πάλιν διέφθειραν ὑπὲρ τοὺς πατέρας αὐτῶν πορεύεσθαι ὀπίσω θεῶν ἑτέρων λατρεύειν αὐτοῖς καὶ προσκυνεῖν αὐτοῖς οὐκ ἀπέρριψαν τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτῶν τὰς σκληράς(lxx) Jdg 2:19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they reverted and behaved more corruptly than their fathers, by following other gods, to serve them and bow down to them. They did not cease from their own doings nor from their stubborn way.(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:20 ============ Jdg 2:20 So the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He said, "Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers and has not listened to My voice,(nasb) Jdg 2:20 Iratusque est furor Domini in Israël, et ait: Quia irritum fecit gens ista pactum meum, quod pepigeram cum patribus eorum, et vocem meam audire contempsit:(vulgate) Jueces 2:20 Y la ira de Jehová se encendió contra Israel, y dijo: Por cuanto esta gente traspasa mi pacto que ordené a sus padres, y no obedecen mi voz,(E) Juges 2:20 Alors la colère de l'Eternel s'enflamma contre Israël, et il dit: Puisque cette nation a transgressé mon alliance que j'avais prescrite à ses pères, et puisqu'ils n'ont point obéi à ma voix,(F) Jdg 2:20 Darum ergrimmte denn des HERRN Zorn über Israel, daß er sprach: Weil dies Volk meinen Bund übertreten hat, den ich ihren Vätern geboten habe, und gehorchen meiner Stimme nicht,(D) Jdg 2:20 καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμῷ κύριος ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ καὶ εἶπεν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ὅσα ἐγκατέλιπον τὸ ἔθνος τοῦτο τὴν διαθήκην μου ἣν ἐνετειλάμην τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσαν τῆς φωνῆς μου(lxx) Jdg 2:20 Then the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel; and He said, "Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not heeded My voice,(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:21 ============ Jdg 2:21 I also will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died,(nasb) Jdg 2:21 et ego non delebo gentes, quas dimisit Josue, et mortuus est:(vulgate) Jueces 2:21 tampoco yo echaré más de delante de ellos a ninguna de estas naciones que dejó Josué cuando murió;(E) Juges 2:21 je ne chasserai plus devant eux aucune des nations que Josué laissa quand il mourut.(F) Jdg 2:21 so will ich auch hinfort die Heiden nicht vertreiben, die Josua hat gelassen, da er starb,(D) Jdg 2:21 καί γε ἐγὼ οὐ προσθήσω τοῦ ἐξᾶραι ἄνδρα ἐκ προσώπου αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τῶν ἐθνῶν ὧν κατέλιπεν Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Ναυη ἐν τῇ γῇ καὶ ἀφῆκεν(lxx) Jdg 2:21 I also will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died,(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:22 ============ Jdg 2:22 in order to test Israel by them, whether they will keep the way of the Lord to walk in it as their fathers did, or not."(nasb) Jdg 2:22 ut in ipsis experiar Israël, utrum custodiant viam Domini, et ambulent in ea, sicut custodierunt patres eorum, an non.(vulgate) Jueces 2:22 para que por ellas probara yo a Israel, si guardarían o no el camino de Jehová andando por él, como sus padres [lo] guardaron.(E) Juges 2:22 C'est ainsi que je mettrai par elles Israël à l'épreuve, pour savoir s'ils prendront garde ou non de suivre la voie de l'Eternel, comme leurs pères y ont pris garde.(F) Jdg 2:22 daß ich Israel durch sie versuche, ob sie auf dem Wege des HERRN bleiben, daß sie darin wandeln, wie ihre Väter geblieben sind, oder nicht.(D) Jdg 2:22 τοῦ πειράσαι ἐν αὐτοῖς τὸν Ισραηλ εἰ φυλάσσονται τὴν ὁδὸν κυρίου πορεύεσθαι ἐν αὐτῇ ὃν τρόπον ἐφύλαξαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἢ οὔ(lxx) Jdg 2:22 so that through them I may test Israel, whether they will keep the ways of the Lord, to walk in them as their fathers kept them, or not."(nkjv) ======= Judges 2:23 ============ Jdg 2:23 So the Lord allowed those nations to remain, not driving them out quickly; and He did not give them into the hand of Joshua.(nasb) Jdg 2:23 Dimisit ergo Dominus omnes nationes has, et cito subvertere noluit, nec tradidit in manus Josue.(vulgate) Jueces 2:23 Por esto dejó Jehová aquellas naciones, y no las desarraigó luego, ni las entregó en mano de Josué.(E) Juges 2:23 Et l'Eternel laissa en repos ces nations qu'il n'avait pas livrées entre les mains de Josué, et il ne se hâta point de les chasser.(F) Jdg 2:23 Also ließ der HERR diese Heiden, daß er sie nicht bald vertrieb, die er nicht hatte in Josuas Hand übergeben.(D) Jdg 2:23 καὶ ἀφῆκεν κύριος τὰ ἔθνη ταῦτα τοῦ μὴ ἐξᾶραι αὐτὰ τὸ τάχος καὶ οὐ παρέδωκεν αὐτὰ ἐν χειρὶ Ἰησοῦ(lxx) Jdg 2:23 Therefore the Lord left those nations, without driving them out immediately; nor did He deliver them into the hand of Joshua.(nkjv) ======= Judges 3:1 ============ top of the page
