Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 3:1 ============ Eze 3:1 Then He said to me, "Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel."(nasb) Eze 3:1 Et dixit ad me: Fili hominis, quodcumque inveneris, comede: comede volumen istud, et vadens loquere ad filios Israël.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:1 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, come lo que hallas; come este rollo, y ve y habla a la casa de Israel.(E) Ézéchiel 3:1 Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, mange ce que tu trouves, mange ce rouleau, et va, parle à la maison d'Israël!(F) Eze 3:1 Und er sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, iß, was vor dir ist, iß diesen Brief, und gehe hin und predige dem Hause Israel!(D) Eze 3:1 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου κατάφαγε τὴν κεφαλίδα ταύτην καὶ πορεύθητι καὶ λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ(lxx) Eze 3:1 Moreover He said to me, "Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:2 ============ Eze 3:2 So I opened my mouth, and He fed me this scroll.(nasb) Eze 3:2 Et aperui os meum, et cibavit me volumine illo:(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:2 Y abrí mi boca, y me hizo comer aquel rollo.(E) Ézéchiel 3:2 J'ouvris la bouche, et il me fit manger ce rouleau.(F) Eze 3:2 Da tat ich meinen Mund auf, und er gab mir den Brief zu essen(D) Eze 3:2 καὶ διήνοιξα τὸ στόμα μου καὶ ἐψώμισέν με τὴν κεφαλίδα(lxx) Eze 3:2 So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:3 ============ Eze 3:3 He said to me, "Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you." Then I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth.(nasb) Eze 3:3 et dixit ad me: Fili hominis, venter tuus comedet, et viscera tua complebuntur volumine isto quod ego do tibi. Et comedi illud, et factum est in ore meo sicut mel dulce.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:3 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, haz a tu vientre que coma, y llena tus entrañas de este rollo que yo te doy. Y [lo] comí, y fue en mi boca dulce como miel.(E) Ézéchiel 3:3 Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, nourris ton ventre et remplis tes entrailles de ce rouleau que je te donne! Je le mangeai, et il fut dans ma bouche doux comme du miel.(F) Eze 3:3 und sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, du mußt diesen Brief, den ich dir gebe, in deinen Leib essen und deinen Bauch damit füllen. Da aß ich ihn, und er war in meinem Munde so süß wie Honig.(D) Eze 3:3 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου τὸ στόμα σου φάγεται καὶ ἡ κοιλία σου πλησθήσεται τῆς κεφαλίδος ταύτης τῆς δεδομένης εἰς σέ καὶ ἔφαγον αὐτήν καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ στόματί μου ὡς μέλι γλυκάζον(lxx) Eze 3:3 And He said to me, "Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you." So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:4 ============ Eze 3:4 Then He said to me, "Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.(nasb) Eze 3:4 Et dixit ad me: Fili hominis, vade ad domum Israël, et loqueris verba mea ad eos.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:4 Me dijo luego: Hijo de hombre, ve y entra a la casa de Israel, y habla a ellos con mis palabras.(E) Ézéchiel 3:4 Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, va vers la maison d'Israël, et dis-leur mes paroles!(F) Eze 3:4 Und er sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, gehe hin zum Hause Israel und predige ihnen meine Worte.(D) Eze 3:4 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου βάδιζε εἴσελθε πρὸς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ λάλησον τοὺς λόγους μου πρὸς αὐτούς(lxx) Eze 3:4 Then He said to me: "Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:5 ============ Eze 3:5 For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or difficult language, but to the house of Israel,(nasb) Eze 3:5 Non enim ad populum profundi sermonis et ignotæ linguæ tu mitteris ad domum Israël:(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:5 Porque no [eres] enviado a pueblo de habla profunda ni de lengua difícil, [sino] a la casa de Israel.(E) Ézéchiel 3:5 Car ce n'est point vers un peuple ayant un langage obscur, une langue inintelligible, que tu es envoyé; c'est à la maison d'Israël.(F) Eze 3:5 Denn ich sende dich ja nicht zu einem Volk, das eine fremde Rede und unbekannte Sprache hat, sondern zum Hause Israel;(D) Eze 3:5 διότι οὐ πρὸς λαὸν βαθύχειλον καὶ βαρύγλωσσον σὺ ἐξαποστέλλῃ πρὸς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ(lxx) Eze 3:5 For you are not sent to a people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, but to the house of Israel,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:6 ============ Eze 3:6 nor to many peoples of unintelligible speech or difficult language, whose words you cannot understand. But I have sent you to them who should listen to you;(nasb) Eze 3:6 neque ad populos multos profundi sermonis et ignotæ linguæ, quorum non possis audire sermones: et si ad illos mittereris, ipsi audirent te:(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:6 No a muchos pueblos de habla profunda ni de lengua difícil, cuyas palabras no entiendas; y si a ellos te enviara, ellos te oyeran.(E) Ézéchiel 3:6 Ce n'est point vers de nombreux peuples ayant un langage obscur, une langue inintelligible, dont tu ne comprends pas les discours. Si je t'envoyais vers eux, ils t'écouteraient.(F) Eze 3:6 ja, freilich nicht zu großen Völkern, die fremde Rede und unbekannte Sprache haben, welcher Worte du nicht verstehen könntest. Und wenn ich dich gleich zu denselben sendete, würden sie dich doch gern hören.(D) Eze 3:6 οὐδὲ πρὸς λαοὺς πολλοὺς ἀλλοφώνους ἢ ἀλλογλώσσους οὐδὲ στιβαροὺς τῇ γλώσσῃ ὄντας ὧν οὐκ ἀκούσῃ τοὺς λόγους αὐτῶν καὶ εἰ πρὸς τοιούτους ἐξαπέστειλά σε οὗτοι ἂν εἰσήκουσάν σου(lxx) Eze 3:6 not to many people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have listened to you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:7 ============ Eze 3:7 yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. Surely the whole house of Israel is stubborn and obstinate.(nasb) Eze 3:7 domus autem Israël nolunt audire te, quia nolunt audire me: omnis quippe domus Israël attrita fronte est, et duro corde.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:7 Mas la casa de Israel no te querrá oír, porque no me quieren oír a mí; porque toda la casa de Israel [son] duros de frente, y de corazón empedernido.(E) Ézéchiel 3:7 Mais la maison d'Israël ne voudra pas t'écouter, parce qu'elle ne veut pas m'écouter; car toute la maison d'Israël a le front dur et le coeur endurci.(F) Eze 3:7 Aber das Haus Israel will dich nicht hören, denn sie wollen mich selbst nicht hören; denn das ganze Haus Israel hat harte Stirnen und verstockte Herzen.(D) Eze 3:7 ὁ δὲ οἶκος τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐ μὴ θελήσωσιν εἰσακοῦσαί σου διότι οὐ βούλονται εἰσακούειν μου ὅτι πᾶς ὁ οἶκος Ισραηλ φιλόνεικοί εἰσιν καὶ σκληροκάρδιοι(lxx) Eze 3:7 But the house of Israel will not listen to you, because they will not listen to Me; for all the house of Israel are impudent and hard-hearted.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:8 ============ Eze 3:8 Behold, I have made your face as hard as their faces and your forehead as hard as their foreheads.(nasb) Eze 3:8 Ecce dedi faciem tuam valentiorem faciebus eorum, et frontem tuam duriorem frontibus eorum:(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:8 He aquí, yo he hecho tu rostro fuerte contra los rostros de ellos, y tu frente fuerte contra sus frentes.(E) Ézéchiel 3:8 Voici, j'endurcirai ta face, pour que tu l'opposes à leur face; j'endurcirai ton front, pour que tu l'opposes à leur front.(F) Eze 3:8 Siehe, ich habe dein Angesicht hart gemacht gegen ihr Angesicht und deine Stirn gegen ihre Stirn.(D) Eze 3:8 καὶ ἰδοὺ δέδωκα τὸ πρόσωπόν σου δυνατὸν κατέναντι τῶν προσώπων αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ νεῖκός σου κατισχύσω κατέναντι τοῦ νείκους αὐτῶν(lxx) Eze 3:8 Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:9 ============ Eze 3:9 Like emery harder than flint I have made your forehead. Do not be afraid of them or be dismayed before them, though they are a rebellious house."(nasb) Eze 3:9 ut adamantem et ut silicem dedi faciem tuam: ne timeas eos, neque metuas a facie eorum, quia domus exasperans est.~(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:9 Como diamante, más fuerte que el pedernal he hecho tu frente; no los temas, ni tengas miedo delante de ellos, porque [son] casa rebelde.(E) Ézéchiel 3:9 Je rendrai ton front comme un diamant, plus dur que le roc. Ne les crains pas, quoiqu'ils soient une famille de rebelles.(F) Eze 3:9 Ja, ich habe deine Stirn so hart wie ein Demant, der härter ist denn ein Fels, gemacht. Darum fürchte dich nicht, entsetze dich auch nicht vor ihnen, daß sie so ein ungehorsames Haus sind.(D) Eze 3:9 καὶ ἔσται διὰ παντὸς κραταιότερον πέτρας μὴ φοβηθῇς ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν(lxx) Eze 3:9 Like adamant stone, harder than flint, I have made your forehead; do not be afraid of them, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:10 ============ Eze 3:10 Moreover, He said to me, "Son of man, take into your heart all My words which I will speak to you and listen closely.(nasb) Eze 3:10 Et dixit ad me: Fili hominis, omnes sermones meos quos ego loquor ad te, assume in corde tuo, et auribus tuis audi:(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:10 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, toma en tu corazón todas mis palabras que yo te hablaré, y oye con tus oídos.(E) Ézéchiel 3:10 Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, reçois dans ton coeur et écoute de tes oreilles toutes les paroles que je te dirai!(F) Eze 3:10 Und er sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, alle meine Worte, die ich dir sage, die fasse zu Herzen und nimm sie zu Ohren!(D) Eze 3:10 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου πάντας τοὺς λόγους οὓς λελάληκα μετὰ σοῦ λαβὲ εἰς τὴν καρδίαν σου καὶ τοῖς ὠσίν σου ἄκουε(lxx) Eze 3:10 Moreover He said to me: "Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:11 ============ Eze 3:11 Go to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listen or not, 'Thus says the Lord God.'"(nasb) Eze 3:11 et vade, ingredere ad transmigrationem, ad filios populi tui, et loqueris ad eos: et dices eis: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: si forte audiant et quiescant.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:11 Y ve y entra a los cautivos, a los hijos de tu pueblo, y les hablarás y les dirás: Así dice Jehová el Señor; escuchen, o dejen de escuchar.(E) Ézéchiel 3:11 Va vers les captifs, vers les enfants de ton peuple; tu leur parleras, et, qu'ils écoutent ou qu'ils n'écoutent pas, tu leur diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(F) Eze 3:11 Und gehe hin zu den Gefangenen deines Volks und predige ihnen und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR HERR! sie hören's oder lassen's.(D) Eze 3:11 καὶ βάδιζε εἴσελθε εἰς τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς τοῦ λαοῦ σου καὶ λαλήσεις πρὸς αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐὰν ἄρα ἀκούσωσιν ἐὰν ἄρα ἐνδῶσιν(lxx) Eze 3:11 And go, get to the captives, to the children of your people, and speak to them and tell them, 'Thus says the Lord God,' whether they hear, or whether they refuse."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:12 ============ Eze 3:12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard a great rumbling sound behind me, "Blessed be the glory of the Lord in His place."(nasb) Eze 3:12 Et assumpsit me spiritus, et audivi post me vocem commotionis magnæ: Benedicta gloria Domini de loco suo:(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:12 Entonces el Espíritu me levantó, y oí detrás de mí una voz de grande estruendo, [que decía]: Bendita [sea] la gloria de Jehová desde su lugar.(E) Ézéchiel 3:12 Et l'esprit m'enleva, et j'entendis derrière moi le bruit d'un grand tumulte: Bénie soit la gloire de l'Eternel, du lieu de sa demeure!(F) Eze 3:12 Und ein Wind hob mich auf, und ich hörte hinter mir ein Getön wie eines großen Erdbebens: Gelobt sei die Herrlichkeit des HERRN an ihrem Ort!(D) Eze 3:12 καὶ ἀνέλαβέν με πνεῦμα καὶ ἤκουσα κατόπισθέν μου φωνὴν σεισμοῦ μεγάλου εὐλογημένη ἡ δόξα κυρίου ἐκ τοῦ τόπου αὐτοῦ(lxx) Eze 3:12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a great thunderous voice: "Blessed is the glory of the Lord from His place!"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:13 ============ Eze 3:13 And I heard the sound of the wings of the living beings touching one another and the sound of the wheels beside them, even a great rumbling sound.(nasb) Eze 3:13 et vocem alarum animalium percutientium alteram ad alteram, et vocem rotarum sequentium animalia, et vocem commotionis magnæ.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:13 [Oí] también el ruido de las alas de los seres vivientes que se juntaban la una con la otra, y el ruido de las ruedas delante de ellos, y ruido de grande estruendo.(E) Ézéchiel 3:13 J'entendis le bruit des ailes des animaux, frappant l'une contre l'autre, le bruit des roues auprès d'eux, et le bruit d'un grand tumulte.(F) Eze 3:13 Und war ein Rauschen von den Flügeln der Tiere, die aneinander schlugen, und auch das Rasseln der Räder, so hart bei ihnen waren, und das Getön eines großen Erdbebens.(D) Eze 3:13 καὶ εἶδον φωνὴν πτερύγων τῶν ζῴων πτερυσσομένων ἑτέρα πρὸς τὴν ἑτέραν καὶ φωνὴ τῶν τροχῶν ἐχομένη αὐτῶν καὶ φωνὴ τοῦ σεισμοῦ(lxx) Eze 3:13 I also heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, and a great thunderous noise.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:14 ============ Eze 3:14 So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away; and I went embittered in the rage of my spirit, and the hand of the Lord was strong on me.(nasb) Eze 3:14 Spiritus quoque levavit me, et assumpsit me: et abii amarus in indignatione spiritus mei: manus enim Domini erat mecum, confortans me.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:14 Me levantó, pues, el Espíritu, y me tomó; y fui en amargura, en la indignación de mi espíritu; mas la mano de Jehová era fuerte sobre mí.(E) Ézéchiel 3:14 L'esprit m'enleva et m'emporta. J'allais, irrité et furieux, et la main de l'Eternel agissait sur moi avec puissance.(F) Eze 3:14 Da hob mich der Wind auf und führte mich weg. Und ich fuhr dahin in bitterem Grimm, und des HERRN Hand hielt mich fest.(D) Eze 3:14 καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα ἐξῆρέν με καὶ ἀνέλαβέν με καὶ ἐπορεύθην ἐν ὁρμῇ τοῦ πνεύματός μου καὶ χεὶρ κυρίου ἐγένετο ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ κραταιά(lxx) Eze 3:14 So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:15 ============ Eze 3:15 Then I came to the exiles who lived beside the river Chebar at Tel-abib, and I sat there seven days where they were living, causing consternation among them.(nasb) Eze 3:15 Et veni ad transmigrationem, ad acervum novarum frugum, ad eos qui habitabant juxta flumen Chobar: et sedi ubi illi sedebant, et mansi ibi septem diebus mœrens in medio eorum.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:15 Y vine a los cautivos en Telabib, que moraban junto al río de Quebar, y me senté donde ellos estaban sentados, y allí permanecí siete días atónito entre ellos.(E) Ézéchiel 3:15 J'arrivai à Thel-Abib, vers les exilés qui demeuraient près du fleuve du Kebar, et dans le lieu où ils se trouvaient; là je restai sept jours, stupéfait au milieu d'eux.(F) Eze 3:15 Und ich kam zu den Gefangenen, die am Wasser Chebar wohnten, gen Thel-Abib, und setzte mich zu ihnen, die da saßen, und blieb daselbst unter ihnen sieben Tage ganz traurig.(D) Eze 3:15 καὶ εἰσῆλθον εἰς τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν μετέωρος καὶ περιῆλθον τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐπὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ τοῦ Χοβαρ τοὺς ὄντας ἐκεῖ καὶ ἐκάθισα ἐκεῖ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀναστρεφόμενος ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν(lxx) Eze 3:15 Then I came to the captives at Tel Abib, who dwelt by the River Chebar; and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:16 ============ Eze 3:16 At the end of seven days the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nasb) Eze 3:16 Cum autem pertransissent septem dies, factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:16 Y aconteció que al cabo de los siete días vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:(E) Ézéchiel 3:16 Au bout de sept jours, la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(F) Eze 3:16 Und da die sieben Tage um waren, geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:(D) Eze 3:16 καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὰς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων(lxx) Eze 3:16 Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:17 ============ Eze 3:17 "Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me.(nasb) Eze 3:17 Fili hominis, speculatorem dedi te domui Israël, et audies de ore meo verbum, et annuntiabis eis ex me.(vulgate) Ezequiel 3:17 Hijo de hombre, yo te he puesto por atalaya a la casa de Israel; oirás, pues, tú, la palabra de mi boca, y los amonestarás de mi parte.(E) Ézéchiel 3:17 Fils de l'homme, je t'établis comme sentinelle sur la maison d'Israël.
