Today's Date: ======= Hosea 3:1 ============ Hos 3:1 Then the Lord said to me, "Go again, love a woman who is loved by her husband, yet an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the sons of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes."(nasb) Hos 3:1 Et dixit Dominus ad me: Adhuc vade, et dilige mulierem dilectam amico et adulteram, sicut diligit Dominus filios Israël, et ipsi respiciunt ad deos alienos, et diligunt vinacia uvarum.(vulgate) Oseas 3:1 Y me dijo otra vez Jehová: Ve, ama una mujer amada de su compañero (aunque adúltera), como el amor de Jehová para con los hijos de Israel; los cuales miran a dioses ajenos, y aman frascos de vino.(E) Osée 3:1 L'Eternel me dit: Va encore, et aime une femme aimée d'un amant, et adultère; aime-la comme l'Eternel aime les enfants d'Israël, qui se tournent vers d'autres dieux et qui aiment les gâteaux de raisins.(F) Hos 3:1 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Gehe noch einmal hin und buhle um ein buhlerisches und ehebrecherisches Weib, wie denn der HERR um die Kinder Israel buhlt, und sie sich doch zu fremden Göttern kehren und buhlen um eine Kanne Wein.(D) Hos 3:1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἔτι πορεύθητι καὶ ἀγάπησον γυναῖκα ἀγαπῶσαν πονηρὰ καὶ μοιχαλίν καθὼς ἀγαπᾷ ὁ θεὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ αὐτοὶ ἀποβλέπουσιν ἐπὶ θεοὺς ἀλλοτρίους καὶ φιλοῦσιν πέμματα μετὰ σταφίδων(lxx) Hos 3:1 Then the Lord said to me, "Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans."(nkjv) ======= Hosea 3:2 ============ Hos 3:2 So I bought her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a half of barley.(nasb) Hos 3:2 Et fodi eam mihi quindecim argenteis, et coro hordei, et dimidio coro hordæi.(vulgate) Oseas 3:2 La compré entonces para mí por quince [piezas] de plata y un homer y medio de cebada.(E) Osée 3:2 Je l'achetai pour quinze sicles d'argent, un homer d'orge et un léthec d'orge.(F) Hos 3:2 Und ich ward mit ihr eins um fünfzehn Silberlinge und anderthalb Scheffel Gerste(D) Hos 3:2 καὶ ἐμισθωσάμην ἐμαυτῷ πεντεκαίδεκα ἀργυρίου καὶ γομορ κριθῶν καὶ νεβελ οἴνου(lxx) Hos 3:2 So I bought her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver, and one and one-half homers of barley.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 3:3 ============ Hos 3:3 Then I said to her, "You shall stay with me for many days. You shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man; so I will also be toward you."(nasb) Hos 3:3 Et dixi ad eam: Dies multos exspectabis me; non fornicaberis, et non eris viro; sed et ego exspectabo te.(vulgate) Oseas 3:3 Y le dije: Tú te quedarás para mí por muchos días; no te prostituirás, ni tomarás [otro] varón; así también yo seré para ti.(E) Osée 3:3 Et je lui dis: Reste longtemps pour moi, ne te livre pas à la prostitution, ne sois à aucun homme, et je serai de même envers toi.(F) Hos 3:3 und sprach zu ihr: Halt dich als die Meine eine lange Zeit und hure nicht und gehöre keinem andern an; denn ich will mich auch als den Deinen halten.(D) Hos 3:3 καὶ εἶπα πρὸς αὐτήν ἡμέρας πολλὰς καθήσῃ ἐπ᾽ ἐμοὶ καὶ οὐ μὴ πορνεύσῃς οὐδὲ μὴ γένῃ ἀνδρὶ ἑτέρῳ καὶ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σοί(lxx) Hos 3:3 And I said to her, "You shall stay with me many days; you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man--so, too, will I be toward you."(nkjv) ======= Hosea 3:4 ============ Hos 3:4 For the sons of Israel will remain for many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar and without ephod or household idols.(nasb) Hos 3:4 Quia dies multos sedebunt filii Israël sine rege, et sine principe, et sine sacrificio, et sine altari, et sine ephod, et sine theraphim.(vulgate) Oseas 3:4 Porque muchos días estarán los hijos de Israel sin rey, y sin príncipe, y sin sacrificio, y sin estatua, y sin efod, y sin terafim.(E) Osée 3:4 Car les enfants d'Israël resteront longtemps sans roi, sans chef, sans sacrifice, sans statue, sans éphod, et sans théraphim.(F) Hos 3:4 Denn die Kinder Israel werden lange Zeit ohne König, ohne Fürsten, ohne Opfer, ohne Altar, ohne Leibrock und ohne Heiligtum bleiben.(D) Hos 3:4 διότι ἡμέρας πολλὰς καθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ οὐκ ὄντος βασιλέως οὐδὲ ὄντος ἄρχοντος οὐδὲ οὔσης θυσίας οὐδὲ ὄντος θυσιαστηρίου οὐδὲ ἱερατείας οὐδὲ δήλων(lxx) Hos 3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 3:5 ============ Hos 3:5 Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king; and they will come trembling to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days.(nasb) Hos 3:5 Et post hæc revertentur filii Israël, et quærent Dominum Deum suum, et David regem suum: et pavebunt ad Dominum, et ad bonum ejus, in novissimo dierum.(vulgate) Oseas 3:5 Después volverán los hijos de Israel, y buscarán a Jehová su Dios, y a David su rey; y temerán a Jehová y a su bondad en el fin de los días.(E) Osée 3:5 Après cela, les enfants d'Israël reviendront; ils chercheront l'Eternel, leur Dieu, et David, leur roi; et ils tressailliront à la vue de l'Eternel et de sa bonté, dans la suite des temps.(F) Hos 3:5 Darnach werden sich die Kinder Israel bekehren und den HERRN, ihren Gott, und ihren König David suchen und werden mit Zittern zu dem HERRN und seiner Gnade kommen in der letzten Zeit.(D) Hos 3:5 καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐπιστρέψουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπιζητήσουσιν κύριον τὸν θεὸν αὐτῶν καὶ Δαυιδ τὸν βασιλέα αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκστήσονται ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς ἀγαθοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ ἐσχάτων τῶν ἡμερῶν(lxx) Hos 3:5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king.
