Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.(nasb) Jn 6:10 Dixit ergo Jesus: Facite homines discumbere. Erat autem fœnum multum in loco. Now there was much grass in the place. It had already become dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.(nasb) Jn 6:17 Et cum ascendissent navim, venerunt trans mare in Capharnaum: et tenebræ jam factæ erant et non venerat ad eos Jesus.(vulgate) Juan 6:17 y entrando en una barca, se fueron al otro lado del mar hacia Capernaúm. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them.(nkjv) ======= John 6:18 ============ Jn 6:18 The sea began to be stirred up because a strong wind was blowing.(nasb) Jn 6:18 Mare autem, vento magno flante, exsurgebat.(vulgate) Juan 6:18 Y se levantó el mar por un gran viento que soplaba.(E) Jean 6:18 Il soufflait un grand vent, et la mer était agitée.(F) Jn 6:18 Und das Meer erhob sich von einem großen Winde.(D) Jn 6:18 ἥ τε θάλασσα ἀνέμου μεγάλου πνέοντος διεγείρετο.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 6:18 Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing.(nkjv) ======= John 6:19 ============ Jn 6:19 Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were frightened.(nasb) Jn 6:19 Cum remigassent ergo quasi stadia viginti quinque aut triginta, vident Jesum ambulantem supra mare, et proximum navi fieri, et timuerunt.(vulgate) Juan 6:19 Y cuando hubieron remado como veinticinco o treinta estadios, vieron a Jesús que andaba sobre el mar y se acercaba a la barca; y tuvieron miedo.(E) Jean 6:19 Après avoir ramé environ vingt-cinq ou trente stades, ils virent Jésus marchant sur la mer et s'approchant de la barque. Et ils eurent peur.(F) Jn 6:19 Da sie nun gerudert hatten bei fünfundzwanzig oder dreißig Feld Wegs, sahen sie Jesum auf dem Meere dahergehen und nahe zum Schiff kommen; und sie fürchteten sich.(D) Jn 6:19 ἐληλακότες οὗν ὡς σταδίους εἴκοσι πέντε ἢ τριάκοντα θεωροῦσιν τὸν ἰησοῦν περιπατοῦντα ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἐγγὺς τοῦ πλοίου γινόμενον, καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 6:19 So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.(nkjv) ======= John 6:20 ============ Jn 6:20 But He said to them, "It is I; do not be 6:21 ============ Jn 6:21 So they were willing to receive Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.(nasb) Jn 6:21 Voluerunt ergo accipere eum in navim et statim navis fuit ad terram, in quam ibant.(vulgate) Juan 6:21 Ellos entonces con gusto le recibieron en la barca; y en seguida la barca llegó a la tierra adonde iban.(E) Jean 6:21 Ils voulaient donc ἤθελον οὗν λαβεῖν αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ πλοῖον, καὶ εὐθέως ἐγένετο τὸ πλοῖον ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν ὑπῆγον.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 6:21 Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.(nkjv) ======= John 6:22 ============ Jn 6:22 The next day the crowd that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other small boat there, except one, and that Jesus had not entered with His disciples into the boat, but that His disciples had gone away alone.(nasb) Jn 6:22 Altera die, turba, quæ stabat trans mare, vidit quia navicula alia non erat ibi nisi una, et quia non introisset cum discipulis suis Jesus in navim, sed soli discipuli ejus abiissent:(vulgate) Juan 6:22 El día siguiente, cuando la gente que estaba al otro lado del mar vio que no había otra barca sino aquella en la que habían entrado sus discípulos, y que Jesús no había entrado con sus discípulos en la barca, sino que sus discípulos se habían ido solos.(E) Jean 6:22 La foule qui était restée de l'autre côté de la mer avait remarqué qu'il ne se trouvait là qu'une seule barque, et que Jésus n'était pas monté dans cette barque avec ses disciples, mais qu'ils étaient partis seuls.(F) Jn 6:22 Des anderen Tages sah das Volk, das diesseit des Meeres stand, daß kein anderes Schiff daselbst war denn das eine, darin seine Jünger getreten waren, und daß Jesus nicht mit seinen συνεισῆλθεν τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ ὁ ἰησοῦς εἰς τὸ πλοῖον ἀλλὰ μόνοι οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπῆλθον·(Nestle-Aland) Jn 6:22 On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one which His disciples had entered, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but His disciples had gone away alone--(nkjv) ============ Jn 6:24 So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they themselves got into the small boats, and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus.(nasb) Jn 6:24 Cum ergo vidisset
