Ils préparaient un guet-apens, pour le tuer en chemin.(F) Act 25:3 und baten um Gunst wider ihn, daß er ihn fordern ließe gen Jerusalem, und stellten ihm nach, daß sie ihn unterwegs umbrächten.(D) Act 25:3 αἰτούμενοι χάριν κατ᾽ αὐτοῦ ὅπως μεταπέμψηται αὐτὸν εἰς ἰερουσαλήμ, ἐνέδραν ποιοῦντες ἀνελεῖν αὐτὸν κατὰ τὴν ὁδόν.(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:3 asking a favor against him, that he would summon him to Jerusalem--while they lay in ambush along the road to kill him.(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:4 ============ Act 25:4 Festus then answered that Paul was being kept in custody at Caesarea and that he himself was about to leave shortly.(nasb) Act 25:4 Festus autem respondit servari Paulum in Cæsarea: se autem maturius profecturum.(vulgate) Hechos 25:4 Pero Festo respondió que Pablo estuviese guardado en Cesarea, y que él mismo iría [allá] en breve.(E) Actes 25:4 Festus répondit que Paul était gardé à Césarée, et que lui-même devait partir sous peu.(F) Act 25:4 Da antwortete Festus, Paulus würde ja behalten zu Cäsarea; aber er würde in kurzem wieder dahin ziehen.(D) Act 25:4 ὁ μὲν οὗν φῆστος ἀπεκρίθη τηρεῖσθαι τὸν παῦλον εἰς καισάρειαν, ἑαυτὸν δὲ μέλλειν ἐν τάχει ἐκπορεύεσθαι·(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:4 But Festus answered that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself was going there shortly.(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:5 ============ Act 25:5 "Therefore," he said, "let the influential men among you go there with me, and if there is anything wrong about the man, let them prosecute him."(nasb) Act 25:5 Qui ergo in vobis, ait, potentes sunt, descendentes simul, si quod est in viro crimen, accusent eum.(vulgate) Hechos 25:5 Los que de vosotros puedan, dijo, desciendan conmigo, y si hay algún crimen en este varón, acúsenle.(E) Actes 25:5 Que les principaux d'entre vous descendent avec moi, dit-il, et s'il y a quelque chose de coupable en cet homme, qu'ils l'accusent.(F) Act 25:5 Welche nun unter euch (sprach er) können, die laßt mit hinabziehen und den Mann verklagen, so etwas an ihm ist.(D) Act 25:5 οἱ οὗν ἐν ὑμῖν, φησίν, δυνατοὶ συγκαταβάντες εἴ τί ἐστιν ἐν τῶ ἀνδρὶ ἄτοπον κατηγορείτωσαν αὐτοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:5 "Therefore," he said, "let those who have authority among you go down with me and accuse this man, to see if there is any fault in him."(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:6 ============ Act 25:6 After he had spent not more than eight or ten days among them, he went down to Caesarea, and on the next day he took his seat on the tribunal and ordered Paul to be brought.(nasb) Act 25:6 Demoratus autem inter eos dies non amplius quam octo aut decem, descendit Cæsaream, et altera die sedit pro tribunali, et jussit Paulum adduci.(vulgate) Hechos 25:6 Y deteniéndose entre ellos más de diez días, descendió a Cesarea; y el día siguiente se sentó en el tribunal, y mandó que trajesen a Pablo.(E) Actes 25:6 Festus ne passa que huit à dix jours parmi eux, puis il descendit à Césarée. And the next day, sitting on the judgment seat, he commanded Paul to be brought.(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:7 ============ Act 25:7 After Paul arrived, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him, bringing many and serious charges against him which they could not prove,(nasb) Act 25:7 Qui cum perductus esset, circumsteterunt eum, qui ab Jerosolyma descenderant Judæi, multas et graves causas objicientes, quas non poterant probare:(vulgate) Hechos 25:7 Y cuando éste llegó, le rodearon los judíos que habían venido de Jerusalén, presentando contra Pablo muchas y graves acusaciones, las cuales no podían probar;(E) Actes 25:7 Quand il fut arrivé, les Juifs qui étaient venus de Jérusalem l'entourèrent, et portèrent contre lui de nombreuses et graves accusations, qu'ils n'étaient pas en état de prouver.(F) Act 25:7 Da der aber vor ihn kam, traten umher die Juden, die von Jerusalem herabgekommen waren, und brachten auf viele und schwere Klagen wider Paulus, welche sie nicht konnten beweisen,(D) Act 25:7 παραγενομένου δὲ αὐτοῦ περιέστησαν αὐτὸν οἱ ἀπὸ ἱεροσολύμων καταβεβηκότες ἰουδαῖοι, πολλὰ καὶ βαρέα αἰτιώματα καταφέροντες ἃ οὐκ ἴσχυον ἀποδεῖξαι,(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:7 When he had come, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood about and laid many serious complaints against Paul, which they could not prove,(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:8 ============ Act 25:8 while Paul said in his own defense, "I have committed no offense either against the Law of the Jews or against the temple or against Caesar."(nasb) Act 25:8 Paulo rationem reddente: Quoniam neque in legem Judæorum, neque in templum, neque in Cæsarem quidquam peccavi.(vulgate) Hechos 25:8 alegando él en su defensa: Ni contra la ley de los judíos, ni contra el templo, ni contra César he pecado en nada.(E) Actes 25:8 Paul entreprit sa défense, en disant: Je n'ai rien fait de coupable, ni contre la loi des Juifs, ni contre le temple, ni contre César.(F) Act 25:8 dieweil er sich verantwortete: Ich habe weder an der Juden Gesetz noch an dem Tempel noch am Kaiser mich versündigt.(D) Act 25:8 τοῦ παύλου ἀπολογουμένου ὅτι οὔτε εἰς τὸν νόμον τῶν ἰουδαίων οὔτε εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν οὔτε εἰς καίσαρά τι ἥμαρτον.(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:8 while he answered for himself, "Neither against the law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I offended in anything at all."(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:9 ============ Act 25:9 But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul and said, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me on these charges?"(nasb) Act 25:9 Festus autem volens gratiam præstare Judæis, respondens Paulo, dixit: Vis Jerosolymam ascendere, et ibi de his judicari apud me?(vulgate) Hechos 25:9 Pero Festo, queriendo congraciarse con los judíos, respondió a Pablo, y dijo: ¿Quieres subir a Jerusalén, y allá ser juzgado de estas cosas delante de mí?(E) Actes 25:9 Festus, désirant plaire aux Juifs, répondit à Paul: Veux-tu monter à Jérusalem, et y être jugé sur ces choses en ma présence?(F) Act 25:9 Festus aber wollte den Juden eine Gunst erzeigen und antwortete Paulus und sprach: Willst du hinauf gen Jerusalem und daselbst über dieses dich vor mir richten lassen?(D) Act 25:9 ὁ φῆστος δὲ θέλων τοῖς ἰουδαίοις χάριν καταθέσθαι ἀποκριθεὶς τῶ παύλῳ εἶπεν, θέλεις εἰς ἱεροσόλυμα ἀναβὰς ἐκεῖ περὶ τούτων κριθῆναι ἐπ᾽ ἐμοῦ;(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:9 But Festus, wanting to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul and said, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and there be judged before me concerning these things?"(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:10 ============ Act 25:10 But Paul said, "I am standing before Caesar's tribunal, where I ought to be tried. I have done no wrong to the Jews, as you also very well know.(nasb) Act 25:10 Dixit autem Paulus: Ad tribunal Cæsaris sto: ibi me oportet judicari: Judæis non nocui, sicut tu melius nosti.(vulgate) Hechos 25:10 Y Pablo dijo: Ante el tribunal de César estoy, donde debo ser juzgado. A los judíos no les he hecho ningún agravio, como tú sabes muy bien.(E) Actes 25:10 Paul dit: C'est devant le tribunal de César que je comparais, c'est là que je dois être jugé. Je n'ai fait aucun tort aux Juifs, comme tu le sais fort bien.(F) Act 25:10 Paulus aber sprach: Ich stehe vor des Kaisers Gericht, da soll ich mich lassen richten; den Juden habe ich kein Leid getan, wie auch du aufs beste weißt.(D) Act 25:10 εἶπεν δὲ ὁ παῦλος, ἐπὶ τοῦ βήματος καίσαρός ἑστώς εἰμι, οὖ με δεῖ κρίνεσθαι. ἰουδαίους οὐδὲν ἠδίκησα, ὡς καὶ σὺ κάλλιον ἐπιγινώσκεις.(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:10 So Paul said, "I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged. To the Jews I have done no wrong, as you very well know.(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:11 ============ Act 25:11 "If, then, I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything worthy of death, I do not refuse to die; but if none of those things is true of which these men accuse me, no one can hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar."(nasb) Act 25:11 Si enim nocui, aut dignum morte aliquid feci, non recuso mori: si vero nihil est eorum quæ hi accusant me, nemo potest me illis donare. Cæsarem appello.(vulgate) Hechos 25:11 Porque si algún agravio, o alguna cosa digna de muerte he hecho, no rehúso morir; pero si nada hay de las cosas de que éstos me acusan, nadie puede entregarme a ellos. A César apelo.(E) Actes 25:11 Si j'ai commis quelque injustice, ou quelque crime digne de mort, je ne refuse pas de mourir; mais, si les choses dont ils m'accusent sont fausses, personne n'a le droit de me livrer à eux. J'en appelle à César.(F) Act 25:11 Habe ich aber jemand Leid getan und des Todes wert gehandelt, so weigere ich mich nicht, zu sterben; ist aber der keines nicht, dessen sie mich verklagen, so kann mich ihnen niemand übergeben. Ich berufe mich auf den Kaiser!(D) Act 25:11 εἰ μὲν οὗν ἀδικῶ καὶ ἄξιον θανάτου πέπραχά τι, οὐ παραιτοῦμαι τὸ ἀποθανεῖν· εἰ δὲ οὐδέν ἐστιν ὧν οὖτοι κατηγοροῦσίν μου, οὐδείς με δύναται αὐτοῖς χαρίσασθαι· καίσαρα ἐπικαλοῦμαι.(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:11 For if I am an offender, or have committed anything deserving of death, I do not object to dying; but if there is nothing in these things of which these men accuse me, no one can deliver me to them. To Caesar you shall go!"(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:13 ============ Act 25:13 Now when several days had elapsed, King Agrippa and Bernice arrived at Caesarea and paid their respects to Festus.(nasb) Act 25:13 Et cum dies aliquot transacti essent, Agrippa rex et Bernice descenderunt Cæsaream ad salutandum Festum.(vulgate) Hechos 25:13 Y pasados algunos días, el rey Agripa y Bernice vinieron a Cesarea King Agrippa and Bernice came to Caesarea to greet Festus.(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:14 ============ Act 25:14 While they were spending many days there, Festus laid Paul's case before the king, saying, "There is a man who was left as a prisoner by Felix;(nasb) Act 25:14 Et cum dies plures ibi demorarentur, Festus regi indicavit de Paulo, dicens: Vir quidam est derelictus a Felice vinctus,(vulgate) Hechos 25:14 Y como estuvieron allí muchos días, Festo declaró al rey la causa de Pablo, diciendo: Un hombre ha sido dejado preso por Félix,(E) Actes 25:14 Comme ils passèrent là plusieurs jours, φήλικος δέσμιος,(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:14 When they had been there many days, Festus laid Paul's case before the king, saying: "There is a certain man left a prisoner by Felix,(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:15 ============ Act 25:15 and when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews brought charges against him, asking for a sentence of condemnation against him.(nasb) Act 25:15 de quo cum essem Jerosolymis, adierunt me principes sacerdotum et seniores Judæorum, postulantes adversus illum damnationem.(vulgate) Hechos 25:15 acerca del cual, cuando estuve en Jerusalén, comparecieron and the elders of the Jews informed me, when I was in Jerusalem, asking for a judgment against him.(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:16 ============ Act 25:16 "I answered them that it is not the custom of the Romans to hand over any man before the accused meets his accusers face to face and has an opportunity to make his defense against the charges.(nasb) Act 25:16 Ad quos respondi: Quia non est Romanis consuetudo damnare aliquem hominem priusquam is qui accusatur præsentes habeat accusatores, locumque defendendi accipiat ad abluenda crimina.(vulgate) Hechos 25:16 A los cuales respondí: No es costumbre de los romanos entregar alguno a la muerte antes que el acusado tenga presentes a sus acusadores, y tenga oportunidad de defenderse de la acusación.(E) Actes 25:16 Je leur ai répondu que ce n'est pas la coutume des Romains de livrer un homme avant que l'inculpé ait été mis en présence de ses accusateurs, et qu'il ait eu la faculté de se défendre sur les choses dont on l'accuse.(F) Act ἐγκλήματος.(Nestle-Aland) Act 25:16 To them I answered, 'It is not the custom of the Romans to deliver any man to destruction before the accused meets the accusers face to face, and has opportunity to answer for himself concerning the charge against him.'(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:17 ============ Act 25:17 "So after they had assembled here, I did not delay, but on the next day took my seat on the together, without any delay, the next day I sat on the judgment seat and commanded the man to be brought in.(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:18 ============ Act 25:18 "When the accusers stood up, they began 25:18 When the accusers stood up, they brought no accusation against him of such things as I supposed,(nkjv) ======= Acts 25:19 ============ Act 25:19 but they simply had some points of disagreement with him about their own religion and about a dead man, Jesus, whom Paul asserted to be alive.(nasb) Act 25:19 Quæstiones vero quasdam de sua superstitione habebant adversus eum, et de quodam Jesu
