Today's Date: ======= Colossians 2:1 ============ Col 2:1 For I want you to know how great a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are at Laodicea, and for all those who have not personally seen my face,(nasb) Col 2:1 Volo enim vos scire qualem sollicitudinem habeam pro vobis, et pro iis qui sunt Laodiciæ, et quicumque non viderunt faciem meam in carne:(vulgate) Colosenses 2:1 Mas quiero que sepáis cuán grande lucha sostengo por vosotros, y [por] los que están en Laodicea, y [por] todos los que nunca han visto mi rostro en la carne;(E) Colossiens 2:1 Je veux, en effet, que vous sachiez combien est grand le combat que je soutiens pour vous, et pour ceux qui sont à Laodicée, et pour tous ceux qui n'ont pas vu mon visage en la chair,(F) Col 2:1 Ich lasse euch aber wissen, welch einen Kampf ich habe um euch und um die zu Laodizea und alle, die meine Person im Fleisch nicht gesehen haben,(D) Col 2:1 θέλω γὰρ ὑμᾶς εἰδέναι ἡλίκον ἀγῶνα ἔχω ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν καὶ τῶν ἐν λαοδικείᾳ καὶ ὅσοι οὐχ ἑόρακαν τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐν σαρκί,(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:1 For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:2 ============ Col 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself,(nasb) Col 2:2 ut consolentur corda ipsorum, instructi in caritate, et in omnes divitias plenitudinis intellectus, in agnitionem mysterii Dei Patris et Christi Jesu:(vulgate) Colosenses 2:2 para que sean consolados sus corazones, unidos en amor, hasta [alcanzar] todas las riquezas de la plena with persuasive argument.(nasb) Col 2:4 Hoc autem dico, ut nemo vos decipiat in sublimitate sermonum.(vulgate) Colosenses 2:4 Y esto digo para que nadie os engañe con palabras persuasivas.(E) Colossiens 2:4 Je dis cela afin que personne ne vous trompe par des discours séduisants.(F) Col 2:4 Ich sage aber davon, auf daß euch niemand betrüge mit unvernünftigen Reden.(D) Col 2:4 τοῦτο λέγω ἵνα μηδεὶς ὑμᾶς παραλογίζηται ἐν πιθανολογίᾳ.(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:4 Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words.(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:5 ============ Col 2:5 For even though I am absent in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good discipline and the stability of your faith in Christ.(nasb) Col 2:5 Nam etsi corpore absens sum, sed spiritu vobiscum sum: gaudens, et videns ordinem vestrum, et firmamentum ejus, quæ in Christo est, fidei vestræ.(vulgate) Colosenses 2:5 Porque aunque esté ausente en la carne, no obstante en espíritu estoy con vosotros, gozándome y mirando vuestro orden y la firmeza de vuestra fe en Cristo.(E) Colossiens 2:5 Car, si je suis absent de corps, je suis avec vous en esprit, voyant avec joie le bon ordre qui règne parmi vous, et la fermeté de votre foi en Christ.(F) Col 2:5 Denn ob ich wohl nach dem Fleisch nicht da bin, so bin ich doch im Geist bei euch, freue mich und sehe eure Ordnung und in Him,(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:7 ============ Col 2:7 having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.(nasb) Col 2:7 radicati, et superædificati in ipso, et confirmati fide, sicut et didicistis, abundantes in illo in gratiarum actione.(vulgate) Colosenses 2:7 arraigados y sobreedificados en Él, y confirmados en la fe, así como habéis sido enseñados, abundando en ella con acciones de gracias.(E) Colossiens 2:7 tant enracinés et fondés en lui, et affermis par la foi, d'après les instructions qui vous ont été données, et abondez en actions de grâces.(F) Col 2:7 und seid gewurzelt und erbaut in ihm und fest im Glauben, wie ihr gelehrt seid, und seid in demselben reichlich dankbar.(D) Col 2:7 ἐρριζωμένοι καὶ ἐποικοδομούμενοι ἐν αὐτῶ καὶ βεβαιούμενοι τῇ πίστει καθὼς ἐδιδάχθητε, περισσεύοντες ἐν εὐχαριστίᾳ.(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:8 ============ Col 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.(nasb) Col 2:8 Videte ne quis vos decipiat per philosophiam, et inanem fallaciam secundum traditionem hominum, secundum elementa mundi, et non secundum Christum:(vulgate) Colosenses 2:8 Mirad que nadie os engañe por medio de filosofías y vanas sutilezas, según las tradiciones de los hombres, conforme a los rudimentos del mundo, y no según Cristo.(E) Colossiens 2:8 Prenez garde que personne ne fasse de vous sa proie par la philosophie et par une vaine tromperie, s'appuyant sur la tradition des hommes, sur les rudiments du monde, et non sur Christ.(F) Col 2:8 Sehet zu, daß euch niemand beraube durch die Philosophie und lose Verführung nach der Menschen Lehre und nach der Welt Satzungen, und nicht nach Christo.(D) Col 2:8 βλέπετε μή τις ὑμᾶς ἔσται ὁ συλαγωγῶν διὰ τῆς φιλοσοφίας καὶ κενῆς ἀπάτης κατὰ τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν ἀνθρώπων, κατὰ τὰ στοιχεῖα τοῦ κόσμου καὶ οὐ κατὰ χριστόν·(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:9 ============ Col 2:9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,(nasb) Col 2:9 quia in ipso inhabitat omnis plenitudo divinitatis corporaliter:(vulgate) Colosenses 2:9 Porque en Él habita corporalmente toda la plenitud de la Deidad,(E) Colossiens 2:9 Car en lui habite corporellement toute la plénitude de la divinité.(F) Col 2:9 Denn in ihm wohnt die ganze Fülle der Gottheit leibhaftig,(D) Col 2:9 ὅτι ἐν αὐτῶ κατοικεῖ πᾶν τὸ πλήρωμα τῆς θεότητος σωματικῶς,(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:10 ============ Col 2:10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;(nasb) Col 2:10 et estis in illo repleti, qui est caput omnis principatus et potestatis:(vulgate) Colosenses 2:10 y vosotros estáis completos en Él, el cual es la cabeza de todo principado y potestad.(E) Colossiens 2:10 Vous avez tout pleinement en lui, qui est le chef de toute domination et de toute autorité.(F) Col 2:10 und ihr seid vollkommen in ihm, welcher ist das Haupt aller Fürstentümer und Obrigkeiten;(D) Col 2:10 καὶ ἐστὲ ἐν αὐτῶ πεπληρωμένοι, ὅς ἐστιν ἡ κεφαλὴ πάσης ἀρχῆς καὶ ἐξουσίας,(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:11 ============ Col 2:11 and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ;(nasb) Col 2:11 in quo et circumcisi estis circumcisione non manu facta in expoliatione corporis carnis, sed in circumcisione Christi:(vulgate) Colosenses 2:11 En quien también sois circuncidados de circuncisión no hecha de mano, en el despojamiento del cuerpo del pecado de la carne, en la circuncisión de Cristo.(E) Colossiens 2:11 Et c'est en lui que vous avez été circoncis d'une circoncision que la main n'a pas faite, mais de la circoncision de Christ, qui consiste dans le dépouillement du corps de la chair:(F) Col 2:11 in welchem ihr auch beschnitten seid mit der Beschneidung ohne Hände, durch Ablegung des sündlichen Leibes im Fleisch, nämlich mit der Beschneidung Christi,(D) Col 2:11 ἐν ᾧ καὶ περιετμήθητε περιτομῇ ἀχειροποιήτῳ ἐν τῇ ἀπεκδύσει τοῦ σώματος τῆς σαρκός, ἐν τῇ περιτομῇ τοῦ χριστοῦ,(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:12 ============ Col 2:12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.(nasb) Col 2:12 consepulti ei in baptismo, in quo et resurrexistis per fidem operationis Dei, qui suscitavit illum a mortuis.(vulgate) Colosenses 2:12 Sepultados con Él en el bautismo, en el cual también sois resucitados con Él, mediante la fe en el poder de Dios que le levantó de los muertos.(E) Colossiens 2:12 ayant été ensevelis avec lui par le baptême, vous êtes aussi ressuscités en lui et avec lui, par la foi en la puissance de Dieu, qui which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:13 ============ Col 2:13 When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions,(nasb) Col 2:13 Et vos cum mortui essetis in delictis, et præputio carnis vestræ, nos offenses;(F) Col 2:13 Und er hat euch auch mit ihm lebendig gemacht, da ihr tot waret in den Sünden und in eurem unbeschnittenen Fleisch; und hat uns geschenkt alle Sünden(D) Col 2:13 καὶ ὑμᾶς νεκροὺς ὄντας [ἐν] τοῖς παραπτώμασιν καὶ τῇ ἀκροβυστίᾳ τῆς σαρκὸς ὑμῶν, συνεζωοποίησεν ὑμᾶς σὺν αὐτῶ, χαρισάμενος ἡμῖν πάντα τὰ παραπτώματα,(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:14 ============ Col 2:14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.(nasb) Col 2:14 delens quod adversus nos erat Col 2:14 ἐξαλείψας τὸ καθ᾽ ἡμῶν χειρόγραφον τοῖς δόγμασιν ὃ ἦν ὑπεναντίον ἡμῖν, καὶ αὐτὸ ἦρκεν ἐκ τοῦ μέσου προσηλώσας αὐτὸ τῶ σταυρῶ·(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:15 ============ Col 2:15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.(nasb) Col 2:15 et expolians principatus, et potestates traduxit confidenter, palam triumphans illos in semetipso.~(vulgate) Colosenses 2:15 y despojando a los principados y a las potestades, los exhibió públicamente, triunfando sobre ellos en sí mismo.(E) Colossiens 2:15 il a dépouillé les dominations et les autorités, et les a livrées publiquement en spectacle, en triomphant d'elles par la croix.(F) Col 2:15 und hat ausgezogen die Fürstentümer und die Gewaltigen und sie schaugetragen öffentlich und einen Triumph aus ihnen gemacht durch sich selbst.(D) Col 2:15 ἀπεκδυσάμενος τὰς ἀρχὰς καὶ τὰς ἐξουσίας ἐδειγμάτισεν ἐν παρρησίᾳ, θριαμβεύσας αὐτοὺς ἐν αὐτῶ.(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:16 ============ Col 2:16 Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day--(nasb) Col 2:16 Nemo ergo vos judicet in cibo, aut in potu, aut in parte diei festi, aut neomeniæ, aut sabbatorum:(vulgate) Colosenses 2:16 Por tanto, nadie os juzgue en comida o en bebida, o respecto a días de fiesta o de luna nueva, o de sábados;(E) Colossiens 2:16 Que personne donc ne vous juge au sujet du manger ou du boire, ou au sujet d'une fête, d'une nouvelle lune, ou des sabbats:(F) Col 2:16 So lasset nun niemand euch Gewissen machen über Speise oder über Trank oder über bestimmte Feiertage oder Neumonde oder Sabbate;(D) Col 2:16 μὴ οὗν τις ὑμᾶς κρινέτω ἐν βρώσει καὶ ἐν πόσει ἢ ἐν μέρει ἑορτῆς ἢ νεομηνίας ἢ σαββάτων,(Nestle-Aland) Col 2:16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,(nkjv) ======= Colossians 2:17 ============ Col 2:17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come;
