And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.(nasb) Rev 12:4 et cauda ejus trahebat tertiam partem stellarum cæli, et misit eas in terram: et draco stetit ante mulierem, quæ erat paritura, ut cum peperisset, filium ejus devoraret.(vulgate) Revelación 12:4 Y su cola arrastró la tercera parte de las estrellas del cielo y las arrojó sobre la tierra. Und der Drache trat vor das Weib, die gebären sollte, auf daß, wenn sie geboren hätte, er ihr Kind fräße.(D) Rev 12:4 καὶ ἡ οὐρὰ αὐτοῦ σύρει τὸ τρίτον τῶν ἀστέρων τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἔβαλεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν. καὶ ὁ δράκων ἕστηκεν ἐνώπιον τῆς γυναικὸς τῆς μελλούσης τεκεῖν, ἵνα ὅταν τέκῃ τὸ τέκνον αὐτῆς καταφάγῃ.(Nestle-Aland) Rev 12:4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:5 ============ Rev 12:5 And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.(nasb) Rev 12:5 Et peperit filium masculum, qui recturus erat omnes gentes in virga ferrea: et raptus est filius ejus ad Deum, et ad thronum ejus,(vulgate) Revelación 12:5 Y ella dio a luz un hijo varón, el cual había de regir todas las naciones con vara de hierro; y su hijo fue arrebatado para Dios y para su trono.(E) Apocalypse 12:5 Elle enfanta un fils, qui doit paître toutes les nations avec une verge de fer. and the dragon and his angels fought,(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:8 ============ Rev 12:8 and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.(nasb) Rev 12:8 et non valuerunt, neque locus inventus est eorum amplius in cælo.(vulgate) Revelación 12:8 pero no prevalecieron, ni fue hallado ya el lugar de ellos en el cielo.(E) Apocalypse 12:8 mais ils ne furent pas les plus forts, et leur place ne fut plus trouvée dans le ciel.(F) Rev 12:8 und siegten nicht, auch ward ihre Stätte nicht mehr gefunden im Himmel.(D) Rev 12:8 καὶ οὐκ ἴσχυσεν, οὐδὲ τόπος εὑρέθη αὐτῶν ἔτι ἐν τῶ οὐρανῶ.(Nestle-Aland) Rev 12:8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:9 ============ Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.(nasb) Rev 12:9 Et projectus est draco ille magnus, serpens antiquus, qui vocatur diabolus, et Satanas, qui seducit universum orbem: et projectus est in terram, et angeli ejus cum illo missi sunt.(vulgate) Revelación 12:9 Y fue lanzado fuera aquel gran dragón, la serpiente antigua, llamada Diablo y Satanás, el cual engaña a todo el mundo; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:10 ============ Rev 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.(nasb) Rev 12:10 Et audivi vocem magnam in cælo dicentem: Nunc facta est salus, et virtus, et regnum Dei nostri, et potestas Christi ejus: quia projectus est accusator fratrum nostrorum, qui accusabat illos ante conspectum Dei nostri die ac nocte.(vulgate) Revelación 12:10 Y oí una gran voz en el cielo que decía: Ahora ha venido la salvación, y el poder, y el reino de nuestro Dios, y la potestad de su Cristo; Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:13 ============ Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.(nasb) Rev 12:13 Et postquam vidit draco quod projectus esset in terram, persecutus est mulierem, quæ peperit masculum:(vulgate) Revelación 12:13 Y cuando vio el dragón que había sido arrojado a la tierra, persiguió a la mujer que había dado a luz al [hijo] varón.(E) Apocalypse 12:13 Quand le dragon vit qu'il earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:14 ============ Rev 12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.(nasb) Rev 12:14 et datæ sunt mulieri alæ duæ aquilæ magnæ ut à la femme, afin qu'elle s'envolât au désert, vers son lieu, où elle est nourrie un temps, des temps, et la moitié d'un temps, loin de la face du serpent.(F) Rev 12:14 Und es wurden dem Weibe zwei τῇ γυναικὶ αἱ δύο πτέρυγες τοῦ ἀετοῦ τοῦ μεγάλου, ἵνα πέτηται εἰς τὴν ἔρημον εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς, ὅπου τρέφεται ἐκεῖ καιρὸν καὶ καιροὺς καὶ ἥμισυ καιροῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ ὄφεως.(Nestle-Aland) Rev 12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:15 ============ Rev 12:15 And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.(nasb) Rev 12:15 Et misit serpens ex ore suo post mulierem, aquam tamquam flumen, ut eam faceret trahi a flumine.(vulgate) Revelación 12:15 Y la serpiente echó de su boca, tras la mujer, agua como un río, a fin de hacer que fuese arrastrada por el río.(E) Apocalypse 12:15 Et, de sa bouche, le serpent lança de l'eau comme un fleuve derrière la femme, afin de l'entraîner par le fleuve.(F) Rev 12:15 Und die Schlange schoß nach dem Weibe aus ihrem Munde ein Wasser wie einen Strom, daß er sie ersäufte.(D) Rev 12:15 καὶ ἔβαλεν ὁ ὄφις ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ὀπίσω τῆς γυναικὸς ὕδωρ ὡς ποταμόν, ἵνα αὐτὴν ποταμοφόρητον ποιήσῃ.(Nestle-Aland) Rev 12:15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:16 ============ Rev 12:16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth.(nasb) Rev 12:16 Et adjuvit terra mulierem, et aperuit terra os suum, et absorbuit flumen, quod misit draco de ore suo.(vulgate) Revelación 12:16 Pero la tierra ayudó a la mujer, pues la tierra abrió su boca, y αὐτῆς καὶ κατέπιεν τὸν ποταμὸν ὃν ἔβαλεν ὁ δράκων ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Rev 12:16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 12:17 ============ Rev 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.(nasb) Rev 12:17 Et iratus est draco in mulierem: et abiit facere prælium cum reliquis de semine ejus, qui custodiunt mandata Dei, et habent
