and you shall bring in the lampstand and mount its lamps.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:5 ============ Exo 40:5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.(KJV) Exodus 40:5 And thou shalt set ye incense Altar of gold before the Arke of the Testimonie, and put the hanging at the doore of the Tabernacle.(Geneva) Exode 40:5 Tu placeras l'autel d'or pour le parfum devant l'arche du témoignage, et tu mettras le rideau à l'entrée du tabernacle.(FR) 5 ׃40 וְנָתַתָּ֞ה אֶת־מִזְבַּ֤ח הַזָּהָב֙ לִקְטֹ֔רֶת לִפְנֵ֖י אֲר֣וֹן הָעֵדֻ֑ת וְשַׂמְתָּ֛ אֶת־מָסַ֥ךְ הַפֶּ֖תַח לַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ Exodus Exo 40:5 Moreover, you shall set the gold altar of incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the veil for the doorway to the tabernacle.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:6 ============ Exo 40:6 And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.(KJV) Exodus 40:6 Moreouer, thou shalt set the burnt offering Altar before the doore of the Tabernacle, called the Tabernacle of the Congregation.(Geneva) Exode 40:6 Tu placeras l'autel des holocaustes devant l'entrée du tabernacle, de la tente d'assignation.(FR) 6 ׃40 וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ה אֵ֖ת מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֑ה לִפְנֵ֕י פֶּ֖תַח מִשְׁכַּ֥ן אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵֽד׃ Exodus Exo 40:6 You shall set the altar of burnt offering in front of the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:7 ============ Exo 40:7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.(KJV) Exodus 40:7 And thou shalt set the Lauer betweene the Tabernacle of the Congregation and the Altar, and put water therein.(Geneva) Exode 40:7 Tu placeras la cuve entre la tente d'assignation et l'autel, et tu y mettras de l'eau.(FR) 7 ׃40 וְנָֽתַתָּ֙ אֶת־הַכִּיֹּ֔ר בֵּֽין־אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וּבֵ֣ין הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְנָתַתָּ֥ שָׁ֖ם מָֽיִם׃ Exodus Exo 40:7 You shall set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:8 ============ Exo 40:8 And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.(KJV) Exodus 40:8 Then thou shalt appoynt the courte round about, and hang vp the hanging at the courte gate.(Geneva) Exode 40:8 Tu placeras le parvis à l'entour, et tu mettras le rideau à la porte du parvis.(FR) 8 ׃40 וְשַׂמְתָּ֥ אֶת־הֶחָצֵ֖ר סָבִ֑יב וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ אֶת־מָסַ֖ךְ שַׁ֥עַר הֶחָצֵֽר׃ Exodus Exo 40:8 You shall set up the court all around and hang up the veil for the gateway of the court.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:9 ============ Exo 40:9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.(KJV) Exodus 40:9 After, thou shalt take the anoynting oyle, and anoynt the Tabernacle, and all that is therein, and halowe it with all the instruments thereof, that it may be holy.(Geneva) Exode 40:9 Tu prendras l'huile d'onction, tu en oindras le tabernacle et tout ce qu'il renferme, et tu le sanctifieras, avec tous ses ustensiles; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.(KJV) Exodus 40:13 And thou shalt put vpon Aaron the holy garmentes, and shalt anoynt him, and sanctifie him, that he may minister vnto me in the Priestes office.(Geneva) Exode 40:13 Tu revêtiras Aaron des vêtements sacrés, tu l'oindras, et tu le sanctifieras, pour qu'il soit à mon service dans le sacerdoce.(FR) 13 ׃40 וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֙ אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹ֔ן אֵ֖ת בִּגְדֵ֣י הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥ אֹת֛וֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹת֖וֹ וְכִהֵ֥ן לִֽי׃ Exodus Exo 40:13 You shall put the holy garments on Aaron and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may minister as a priest to Me.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:14 ============ Exo 40:14 And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:(KJV) Exodus 40:14 Thou shalt also bring his sonnes, & clothe them with garments,(Geneva) Exode 40:14 Tu feras approcher ses fils, tu les revêtiras des tuniques,(FR) 14 ׃40 וְאֶת־בָּנָ֖יו תַּקְרִ֑יב וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם כֻּתֳּנֹֽת׃ Exodus Exo 40:14 You shall bring his sons and put tunics on them;(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:15 ============ Exo 40:15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.(KJV) Exodus 40:15 And shalt anoynt them as thou diddest anoynt their father, that they may minister vnto mee in the Priestes office: for their anoynting shall be a signe, that the Priesthood shall be euerlasting vnto them throughout their generations.(Geneva) Exode 40:15 et tu les oindras comme tu auras oint leur père, pour qu'ils soient à mon service dans le sacerdoce. Cette onction leur assurera à perpétuité le sacerdoce parmi leurs descendants.(FR) 15 ׃40 וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֣ אֹתָ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר מָשַׁ֙חְתָּ֙ אֶת־אֲבִיהֶ֔ם וְכִהֲנ֖וּ לִ֑י וְ֠הָיְתָה לִהְיֹ֨ת לָהֶ֧ם מָשְׁחָתָ֛ם לִכְהֻנַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 40:15 and you shall anoint them even as you have anointed their father, that they may minister as priests to Me; and their anointing will qualify them for a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:16 ============ Exo 40:16 Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.(KJV) Exodus 40:16 So Moses did according to all that ye Lorde had commanded him: so did he.(Geneva) Exode 40:16 Moïse fit tout ce que l'Eternel lui avait ordonné; il fit ainsi.(FR) 16 ׃40 וַיַּ֖עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֑ה כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֹת֖וֹ כֵּ֥ן עָשָֽׂה׃ ס Exodus Exo 40:16 Thus Moses did; according to all that the Lord had commanded him, so he did.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:17 ============ Exo 40:17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.(KJV) Exodus 40:17 Thus was the Tabernacle reared vp the first day of the first moneth in the seconde yeere.(Geneva) Exode 40:17 Le premier jour du premier mois de la seconde année, le tabernacle fut dressé.(FR) 17 ׃40 וַיְהִ֞י בַּחֹ֧דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֛וֹן בַּשָּׁנָ֥ה הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הוּקַ֖ם הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ Exodus Exo 40:17 Now in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:18 ============ Exo 40:18 And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.(KJV) Exodus 40:18 Then Moses reared vp the Tabernacle and fastened his sockets, and set vp the boardes thereof, and put in the barres of it, and reared vp his pillars.(Geneva) Exode 40:18 Moïse dressa le tabernacle; il en posa les bases, plaça les planches et les barres, et éleva les colonnes.(FR) 18 ׃40 וַיָּ֨קֶם מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ן וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־אֲדָנָ֔יו וַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙ אֶת־קְרָשָׁ֔יו וַיִּתֵּ֖ן אֶת־בְּרִיחָ֑יו וַיָּ֖קֶם אֶת־עַמּוּדָֽיו׃ Exodus Exo 40:18 Moses erected the tabernacle and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and inserted its bars and erected its pillars.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:19 ============ Exo 40:19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.(KJV) Exodus 40:19 And he spred the couering ouer the Tabernacle, and put the couering of that couering on hie aboue it, as the Lorde had commaunded Moses.(Geneva) Exode 40:19 Il étendit la tente sur le tabernacle, et il mit la couverture de la tente par-dessus, comme l'Eternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.(FR) 19 ׃40 וַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂ אֶת־הָאֹ֙הֶל֙ עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן וַיָּ֜שֶׂם אֶת־מִכְסֵ֥ה הָאֹ֛הֶל עָלָ֖יו מִלְמָ֑עְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ ס Exodus Exo 40:19 He spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent on top of it, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:20 ============ Exo 40:20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:(KJV) Exodus 40:20 And he tooke and put the Testimonie in the Arke, and put the barres in the ringes of the Arke, and set the Merciseate on hie vpon the Arke.(Geneva) Exode 40:20 Il prit le témoignage, et le plaça dans l'arche; il mit les barres à l'arche, et il posa le propitiatoire au-dessus de l'arche.(FR) 20 ׃40 וַיִּקַּ֞ח וַיִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־הָעֵדֻת֙ אֶל־הָ֣אָרֹ֔ן וַיָּ֥שֶׂם אֶת־הַבַּדִּ֖ים עַל־הָאָרֹ֑ן וַיִּתֵּ֧ן אֶת־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עַל־הָאָרֹ֖ן מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ Exodus Exo 40:20 Then he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and attached the poles to the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:21 ============ Exo 40:21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.(KJV) Exodus 40:21 He brought also the Arke into the Tabernacle, and hanged vp the couering vaile, and couered the Arke of the Testimonie, as the Lord had commanded Moses.(Geneva) Exode 40:21 Il apporta l'arche dans le tabernacle; il mit le voile de séparation, et il en couvrit l'arche du témoignage, comme l'Eternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.(FR) 21 ׃40 וַיָּבֵ֣א אֶת־הָאָרֹן֮ אֶל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן֒ וַיָּ֗שֶׂם אֵ֚ת פָּרֹ֣כֶת הַמָּסָ֔ךְ וַיָּ֕סֶךְ עַ֖ל אֲר֣וֹן הָעֵד֑וּת כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ ס Exodus Exo 40:21 He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up a veil for the screen, and screened off the ark of the testimony, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:22 ============ Exo 40:22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.(KJV) Exodus 40:22 Furthermore he put the Table in the Tabernacle of the Congregation in the Northside of the Tabernacle, without the vaile,(Geneva) Exode 40:22 Il plaça la table dans la tente d'assignation, au côté septentrional du tabernacle, en dehors du voile;(FR) 22 ׃40 וַיִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן צָפֹ֑נָה מִח֖וּץ לַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃ Exodus Exo 40:22 Then he put the table in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:23 ============ Exo 40:23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.(KJV) Exodus 40:23 And set the bread in order before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.(Geneva) Exode 40:23 et il y déposa en ordre les pains, devant l'Eternel, comme l'Eternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.(FR) 23 ׃40 וַיַּעֲרֹ֥ךְ עָלָ֛יו עֵ֥רֶךְ לֶ֖חֶם לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ ס Exodus Exo 40:23 He set the arrangement of bread in order on it before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:24 ============ Exo 40:24 And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.(KJV) Exodus 40:24 Also he put the Candlesticke in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, ouer against the Table toward ye Southside of the Tabernacle.(Geneva) Exode 40:24 Il plaça le chandelier dans la tente d'assignation, en face de la table, au côté méridional du tabernacle;(FR) 24 ׃40 וַיָּ֤שֶׂם אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד נֹ֖כַח הַשֻּׁלְחָ֑ן עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן נֶֽגְבָּה׃ Exodus Exo 40:24 Then he placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:25 ============ Exo 40:25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.(KJV) Exodus 40:25 And he lighted the lampes before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.(Geneva) Exode 40:25 et il en arrangea les lampes, devant l'Eternel, comme l'Eternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.(FR) 25 ׃40 וַיַּ֥עַל הַנֵּרֹ֖ת לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ ס Exodus Exo 40:25 He lighted the lamps before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:26 ============ Exo 40:26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:(KJV) Exodus 40:26 Moreouer he set the golden Altar in the Tabernacle of the Congregation before the vayle,(Geneva) Exode 40:26 Il plaça l'autel d'or dans la tente d'assignation, devant le voile;(FR) 26 ׃40 וַיָּ֛שֶׂם אֶת־מִזְבַּ֥ח הַזָּהָ֖ב בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לִפְנֵ֖י הַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃ Exodus Exo 40:26 Then he placed the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the veil;(nasb) ======= Exodus 40:27 ============ Exo 40:27 And he burnt sweet incense thereon;
