But your kinsmen, the whole house of Israel, shall bewail the burning which the Lord has brought about.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 10:7 ============ Lev 10:7 And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. for they have been given as your due and your sons' due out of the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the sons of Israel.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 10:15 ============ Lev 10:15 The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; so it shall be a thing perpetually due you and your sons with you, just as the Lord has commanded."(nasb) ======= Leviticus 10:16 ============ Lev 10:16 And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,(KJV) Leviticus 10:16 And Moses sought the goate that was offred for sinne, and lo, it was burnt: therefore he was angrie with Eleazar and Ithamar the sonnes of Aaron, which were left aliue, saying,(Geneva) Lévitique 10:16 Moïse chercha le bouc expiatoire; et voici, il avait été brûlé. Alors il s'irrita contre Eléazar et Ithamar, les fils qui restaient à Aaron, et il dit:(FR) 16 ׃10 וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שְׂעִ֣יר הַֽחַטָּ֗את דָּרֹ֥שׁ דָּרַ֛שׁ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְהִנֵּ֣ה שֹׂרָ֑ף וַ֠יִּקְצֹף עַל־אֶלְעָזָ֤ר וְעַל־אִֽיתָמָר֙ בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֔ן הַנּוֹתָרִ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃ Leviticus Lev 10:16 But Moses searched carefully for the goat of the sin offering, and behold, it had been burned up! So he was angry with Aaron's surviving sons Eleazar and Ithamar, saying,(nasb) ======= Leviticus 10:17 ============ Lev 10:17 Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?(KJV) Leviticus 10:17 Wherfore haue ye not eaten the sinne offring in the holy place, seeing it is most Holie? & God hath giuen it you, to beare the iniquitie of the Congregation, to make an atonement for them before the Lorde.(Geneva) Lévitique 10:17 Pourquoi n'avez-vous pas mangé la victime expiatoire dans le lieu saint? C'est une chose très sainte; et l'Eternel vous l'a donnée, afin que vous portiez l'iniquité de l'assemblée, afin que vous fassiez pour elle l'expiation devant l'Eternel.(FR) 17 ׃10 מַדּ֗וּעַ לֹֽא־אֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם אֶת־הַֽחַטָּאת֙ בִּמְק֣וֹם הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ כִּ֛י קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִ֑וא וְאֹתָ֣הּ ׀ נָתַ֣ן לָכֶ֗ם לָשֵׂאת֙ אֶת־עֲוֺ֣ן הָעֵדָ֔ה לְכַפֵּ֥ר עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Leviticus Lev 10:17 "Why did you not eat the sin offering at the holy place?
