(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:7 ============ 2Ch 16:7 And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 16:7 And at that same time Hanani the Seer came to Asa King of Iudah, and saide vnto him, Because thou hast rested vpon the king of Aram, and not rested in the Lorde thy God, therefore is the hoste of the King of Aram escaped out of thine hande.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 16:7 Dans ce temps-là, Hanani, le voyant, alla auprès d'Asa, roi de Juda, et lui dit: Parce que tu t'es appuyé sur le roi de Syrie et que tu ne t'es pas appuyé sur l'Eternel, ton Dieu, l'armée du roi de Syrie s'est échappée de tes mains.(FR) 7 ׃16 וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֗יא בָּ֚א חֲנָ֣נִי הָרֹאֶ֔ה אֶל־אָסָ֖א מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו בְּהִשָּׁ֨עֶנְךָ֜ עַל־מֶ֤לֶךְ אֲרָם֙ וְלֹ֤א נִשְׁעַ֙נְתָּ֙ עַל־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ עַל־כֵּ֗ן נִמְלַ֛ט חֵ֥יל מֶֽלֶךְ־אֲרָ֖ם מִיָּדֶֽךָ׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 16:7 At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him, "Because you have relied on the king of Aram and have not relied on the Lord your God, therefore the army of the king of Aram has escaped out of your hand.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:8 ============ 2Ch 16:8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 16:8 The Ethiopians and the Lubims, were they not a great hoste with charets & horsemen, exceeding many? Yet because thou diddest rest vpon the Lord, he deliuered them into thine had.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 16:8 Les Ethiopiens et les Libyens ne formaient-ils pas une grande armée, avec des chars et une multitude de cavaliers? Et cependant l'Eternel les a livrés entre tes mains, parce que tu t'étais appuyé sur lui.(FR) 8 ׃16 הֲלֹ֧א הַכּוּשִׁ֣ים וְהַלּוּבִ֗ים הָי֨וּ לְחַ֧יִל ׀ לָרֹ֛ב לְרֶ֥כֶב וּלְפָרָשִׁ֖ים לְהַרְבֵּ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד וּבְהִשָּֽׁעֶנְךָ֥ עַל־יְהוָ֖ה נְתָנָ֥ם בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 16:8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubim an immense army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied on the Lord, He delivered them into your hand.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:9 ============ 2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lorde beholde all the earth to shewe him selfe strong with them that are of perfite heart towarde him: thou hast then done foolishly in this: therefore from henceforth thou shalt haue warres.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 16:9 Car l'Eternel étend ses regards sur toute la terre, pour soutenir ceux dont le coeur est tout entier à lui. Tu as agi en insensé dans cette affaire, car dès à présent tu auras des guerres.(FR) 9 ׃16 כִּ֣י יְהוָ֗ה עֵינָ֞יו מְשֹׁטְט֤וֹת בְּכָל־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ לְ֠הִתְחַזֵּק עִם־לְבָבָ֥ם שָׁלֵ֛ם אֵלָ֖יו נִסְכַּ֣לְתָּ עַל־זֹ֑את כִּ֣י מֵעַ֔תָּה יֵ֥שׁ עִמְּךָ֖ מִלְחָמֽוֹת׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars."(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:10 ============ 2Ch 16:10 Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 16:10 Then Asa was wroth with the Seer, and put him into a prison: for he was displeased with him, because of this thing; Asa oppressed certaine of the people at the same time.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 16:10 Asa fut irrité contre le voyant, et il le fit mettre en prison, parce qu'il était en colère contre lui.
